The world either Demonizes Sansa or Makes her a saint... I see a bit differently.

This is short but importantly, I really love it.

Smiling, Orryn watched from the doorway as Arya practiced with Syrio Forel, Ned having found the man for his daughter. His betrothed, though graceless, learned with excitement and enthusiasm. She learned fast, making him smile. The raw passion she put into all she did was a comfort all it's own. He could only pray she did not lose that passion in the days to come.

As he watched his mind moved, not to Arya but to Sansa and his last meeting with her. He was moving to the Throne room where he saw Sansa with her Septa.

"What if I have a girl?" Sansa asked, soft and fearful.

"Gods be good, you'll have boys and girls and plenty of them."

"What if I only have girls?" A wise fear.

"I wouldn't worry about that."

"Jeyne Poole's mother had five children - all of them girls."

"Yes, but it's highly unlikely."

"But what if?"

"Well, if you only had girls, I suppose the throne would pass to Prince Joffrey's little brother."

"And everyone would hate me."

Nobody could ever hate you.

"Joffrey does."

"Nonsense."

"Why would you say such a thing?"

He sighed, moving forward. "Joffrey is a tool." They both turned. "Prince or not, he is without mercy, empathy or love. He cannot care for others. If you are to survive his darkness, you must accept this Sansa."

She sneered. "You are just jealous you are not in line for the throne!" Her septa gasped.

"I have no interest in the throne, but you are clearly too dumb to notice evil when you see it. You aren't considered a person here, but a broodmare to pop out babies for a moron." He was cold, but he could not care. He really disliked this girl. "You are old enough to see evil, to at least recognize it. The world cannot always hold your hand, as you wish it to. I want to keep you safe but you must do you part, otherwise you may not survive Joffrey's malice... but whatever, that is on you." He shrugged. "Sansa, one last thing. You saw him try and murder your sister, you saw him try and get Lady or Nymeria killed. Your choice to choose him over your family really shows your mother's lessons on family has been wasted on you."

The girl recoiled, tears in her eyes as his words his so dearly and deeply home.

He had meant what he said, Sansa was so deeply infatuated with Joffrey she betrayed her kin. Her future desires trumping her loyalty to those that loved her. He could not stand people like that. Sansa was going to be abused by the Lannisters, and on some level it would be her own fault for refusing to open her eyes...

And so, despite his frustration, he continued to watch Arya, her joy healing his heart and making life just that much easier.
