Part 2
The day of birth had arrived. Closet put on his mask and surgical gloves, getting ready. Raquel and Barbie had both walked miles and miles to get here, a journey of nine months time. It was the end of a journey, but the start of a new one was awaiting them.
Barbie and Raquel held hands, floating in the air by closet's limbs next to the maternity clothes section, symbolizing their journey into motherhood. A glowing glorious light bathed them in a heavenly aura.
It was time.
"It is time," Closet said as he took out his scalpel.
That's when it happened. Barbie and Raquel went into labor, their contractions getting more and more frequent, but together they felt the pain emanating from their shared womb in unison.
Closet shaved away with his scalpel at their plastic bodies, but alas, the child wouldn't emerge.
Closet took out his bone saw and drill. "Breathe," he said to them soothingly and put on elevator music to calm their aching bodies. This, does not release the child from within them.
At last, closet decides to flip them heads down, their hands stretched ti their sides, linked to each other, symbolizing their eternal bond. Together, they were two upside-down crosses.
Finally, the child ascended in a great burst of energy from their womb, radiating a powerful energy, not of this world.
Then, closet wraps the baby in a glittery pink gossamer blanket, made of quality ethically sourced vegan.
"She's… absolutely fabulous!", was all Barbie could say.
"She's a-GORG!" emitted Raquel. "What do we name the wee babe?"
"Chelsea," Barbie's eyes glitter, shimmery tears rolled gently down her perfectly plastic cheeks. "After my Godmother Zichrona Livracha."
"Chelsea…" Raquel rolled the namemin her mouth, and she liked the way it felt on her tongue. "Yes, that will be the wee lass's name."
