The tenth chapter!

this is a short one so I hope you're ready for tomorrow.

Honestly I don't like how it came out but I don't really know how to make it better.

this is just a filler chapter that I needed to make in order to make the story better, trust me on this please

CUTTING DOWN THE LANGUAGE BARRIER

When the Academy restarted for its third year, students learned a new subject: controlling their chakra affinations.

Everyone was tested, and Naruto had Wind and Earth. His friend Kiba, whom he grew closer to after bringing Haruto, also had Earth, so they often practiced together. Naruto was a natural, so he helped Kiba whenever he could. Naruto was invited to Kiba's house to help him train, and when he got there with Haruto, they quickly welcomed Naruto into their family. Naruto helped Kiba control his chakra affinity while Haruto and Akamaru played together and practiced fighting.

When Kiba's mother noticed Haruto, she had an idea. "Naruto," she said, "would you like to understand your little companion?"

Naruto thought about what she said, not understanding at first but when he did he quickly nodded his head, "Yeah of course!" Naruto shouted

"Let me tell you something first," she said hesitantly. "It's really painful; are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yeah! I bet I've been through worse!" Naruto said with a determined smile.

Kiba's mom was a bit shocked; she had known that Naruto was discriminated against, but she hadn't realized to what extent the villagers took it.

They then headed to the bedroom, and she took a box that was hidden in their closet.

Inside the box was a glass filled with an odd, green liquid. Next to it lay an empty syringe.

Naruto was nervous, but he thought about all the cool things he and Haruto would be able to do after finally understanding each other.

Kiba also entered the room and sat on his parents bed; he quietly watched while stroking Akamaru.

"Now are you ready? This will hurt, but you won't die," Kiba's mom said as she prepared the injection.

"You bet! This is nothing!" Naruto said as he held out his arm. Kiba's mother placed the alcohol on the spot where there was a vein and then she injected the mysterious green liquid into his vein.

Naruto felt immense pain, but something seemed to spread his chakra, allowing him to stabilize himself until the injection finished. Standing up, he was in a daze. "My head hurts so much," he mumbled, holding his head with his hand.

His eye that had been given to him was also hurting; it felt as if it were burning.

"Hahaha, well of course, you're not an Inuzuka," Kiba said with a big grin on his face, obviously feeling proud of himself.

"Hey, are you okay?" A high-pitched voice came from the ground.

Naruto, still not looking up, replied, "Yeah, I think I'll be." Naruto said as he kept holding his head.

"It looks like it worked," Kiba's mother said with a chuckle.

As Naruto looked up to ask her, he noticed that nobody else was in the room besides Kiba and his mother.

Naruto asked with a look of confusion, "Who said that?" as he looked around the room.

"I guess the injection worked," the voice said again, but this time it was filled with happiness. As Naruto looked down, he saw Haruto at his feet.

"Haruto?" Naruto asked while looking at the pup.

"The one and only," Haruto said with a happy bark.

"Definitely worked!" Kiba said with a slight chuckle.

"Cool," Naruto said as he looked at Haruto, who seemed to be happy.

"Anyway, you owe me for controlling your chakra that one time," Haruto said proudly and a bit bratty.

Kiba and his mom looked confused, as did Naruto at first, but then he remembered about the one time when they were engulfed in a deep hatred and he lost control.

"Oh yeah, thanks for that"

I know this was short and boring but I needed to make it in order for Naruto to understand Haruto, so sorry but I'm not sorry

I hope you look forward to tomorrow's because this was honestly such a bad chapter and I hate it

at least we now know Naruto's nature affinities!
