Chapter One: The Plan
It didn't take long before Hyacinth realized that being around Sirius felt like home. He felt like family. She wanted to live with him. When they climbed off of Buckbeak's back, they walked away to have some privacy, which thankfully, Hermione understood.
"We're not separating after being reunited," Hyacinth said and Sirius smiled. "I agree. What do you have in mind, pup?" he asked his beautiful goddaughter. He was going to have a hell of a time keeping boys away from her.
"We go home to Godric's Hallow," she smiled before calling for Dobby. Hermione didn't know this, but House Elves can die without being bound to a witch or wizard, so Cin gave him what he wanted and needed. Dobby was now her personal elf. "Missy Potter!" Dobby exclaimed jumping up and down excitedly wearing black trousers, a white button-up shirt with the Potter crest, and little black shoes. Sirius had never seen a House Elf so well dressed, but it just goes to show that Hyacinth wouldn't mistreat another living being in any way shape, or form. "Dobby, would you please take Sirius to Godric's Hallow, and make sure no one notices? I will call you in a week's time, so you can get me away from Petunia," Cin explained. "But first, please take Buckbeak to his herd inside the Dark Forest. The Ministery will not know the difference between one Hippogriff from the next," she requested. Sirius was amazed at her plan. His goddaughter definitely inherited Lily's brain. It was a blessing. He loved James as a brother, but James could also be very stupid.
Sirius normally wouldn't want to live in Godric's Hallow, in the home of his deceased brother and sister, but he couldn't think of anywhere better for Hyacinth to live than in her own home. She didn't know this, but the Potter family were the last and direct descendants of Godric Gryffindor, himself. Godric's Hallow was the only place the Potter family has lived for thousands of years. That would never change. He had a feeling his beautiful goddaughter would keep to that tradition when she discovered just where she came from.
"Dobby wills, Missy Potter," Dobby said before grabbing hold of Buckbeak and Sirius before popping away. Hyacinth made sure to look depressed for the next two weeks so Dumbledore wouldn't get suspicious. Now, she knew he wasn't a bad man, but Cin was tired of Dumbledore's belief that he had the right to tell her what to do outside of the school year. She wasn't going to put up with that any longer. It was her life, and she was going to do anything and everything she wanted as long as it doesn't involve hurting someone or breaking the law.
When Cin entered Petunia's house a week later, she thought it was about time Petunia heard everything she thought about her. "Before I leave, I have something to say. Petunia, you may be my aunt by blood, but let me be honest, I hate you. Ever since my mother was murdered, you have taken your jealousy out on me because you don't have the wonderful gift of magic. Let me be clear, if you had been a witch, you would be a death eater. You find nothing wrong with being physically, mentally, and emotionally abusive. You call yourself normal, but anyone who abuses a child, is not normal but one of the biggest monsters I have ever met. If Voldemort ever returns, he can have you for all I care. You disgust me," Cin felt a lot better now that she had gotten to say everything she has wanted for years.
Petunia knew her niece was right, and to her surprise, she felt sorry for how she treated Hyacinth all these years. She felt fear when her niece smirked. "One more thing, this is not my home," Hyacinth said gloatingly as she felt the wards fall. "Have fun," Cin said laughing before calling Dobby. "Missy Potter!" he smiled as he took Cin's hand. "Dobby, I need you to take me to Gringotts's, she requested. An hour after they entered the bank, Hyacinth was amazed and fuming. Her relatives have been getting paid out of her family vault for her care and did not spend one Knut on her. She had the goblins sue them for everything they had in order to get everything back with interest.
During the next two hours, Hyacinth and Dobby were at the bank, Cin discovered that the vault she has used during the last few years was her trust vault, and every year on her birthday, 80,000 galleons were deposited into her vault. Come to find out, upon the day of the Godparent-Godchild ceremony, Sirius had set up a trust vault with a balance of one million galleons. Cin had more money than she knew what to do with, not counting the previous year when she claimed the basilisk carcass and had it harvested and sold it earning more than 3.4 billion galleons. Not knowing what else to do Hyacinth told her account manager to combine her trust vaults into one, add the fortune she made from the basilisk to it and invest. Cin didn't need her family's fortune, so she requested that Griphook stop the yearly deposits into her trust vault.
Hyacinth wasn't going to depend on her family's money as she decided a long time ago that she would make it on her own.
When she and Dobby left the bank, they went shopping for basic clothing for herself and Sirius until they could get everything they needed. They purchased potions, food, and many other items they may need. When they were sure no one had seen them, Dobby popped Cin into her family's cottage.
"Hey pup," Sirius greeted his goddaughter. "Hey, Siri. So, I purchased only the basics for clothing for the time being for the both of us," she said as Dobby levitated everything into their proper places. "Thank you, pup," he said relieved that he will be out of the prison garb soon enough. "I also have potions, food, and other necessities. I also have my account manager working to get my parents Will published. In it, it clearly states that Pettigrew was the Secret Keeper, and it goes on to explain how you couldn't have betrayed us as you are my oath-sworn Godfather. It should be enough to get you a trial and get the charges against you dropped," Hyacinth explain smiling as Sirius beamed a smile ear to ear.
"I could be free soon," he muttered happily.
