Part 7 - Welcoming Feast Surprises

As soon Hermione came into the great hall, holding hands with Dean and Seamus, who both adorned a look of "if you dare to hurt Mione, you will answer to us only." And Hermione looked just amused at her boys, as they took their seats, and others were in shock, awe and wonder of what was going on with those three, as most believed that she was with Ronald Weasley.

And talking about the said boy, he came inside with a very clingy Lavender Brown by his side, talking his ear off as they walked inside, and he had only fury on his face. Next was Harry with the Weasleys' twins, Percy and their girlfriends and he looked rather forlorn, and was taken to a seat 10 feet from Ronald, Hermione. Lastly Ginerva came in with that Simon Baker by her side, as both looked like that they wanted nothing with each other but forced to, as he lead her to Ravenclaw table to get her far enough from Harry as he had been told by the said girl's father of what was really was going on.

And while he was not jealous or something, he wanted to his best to keep her far away from the said goal of her actions that lead her to him being her husband in 4 years' time. She had only forlorn, longing look as she looked at Harry, who looked at her with same look, but also anger and jealousy towards Simon Baker.

After that, their Headmaster stood up, while Professor McGonagell tapped a glass, he then said

"Thank you, Minerva dear. And everyone; Welcome to your new year at Hogwarts, aswell back to another year to our elder students. Now before the sorting of our new 1st years, I have some things to tell you all about, and that is who is Prefects to our Heads' of this year. Firstly; Prefects of each house is;

Gryffindor's : Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan. (Many cheers from the said table, as Hermione blushed of the attention while the boys bowed dramtically and waved shyly in Neville's case.) Ravenclaws': Lisa Turpin, Lilith Moon, Marcus Belby and Michael Corner. (Cheers from that table as the said people chosen to be Prefects grinned or waved happily.) Hufflepuffs': Ernie MacMillian, Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones and Kevin Entwhistle. And lastly prefects of Slytherins house is Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson and Daphne Greengrass. Congratulations on your new duties. Now to Head Boy and Girl of this year is; Maria Wolffee of Ravenclaw and Marcus Flint of Slytherin House. Well done all of you."

Many cheers around the hall was heard after that announce, while Ginny paled at the head boy's name was none other her first lover and the one who took her virginty, she didn't even looked up or around at anyone, for this was a shameful secret that would not stay secret for very long.

Albus than knocked to get their attention again, and said

"Now to professors of our new year; First is your new professor in DADA is Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, Sirius will be with 4 and up, while Remus takes year 1 through 3, though Severus or Sirius will step in when necessary for Remus' years. No more Divination as it has been removed, so those of you who had that class will have to choose Arithmancy or Acient Runes. This is for Professor Trewlawny decided to retire and have her class remove after her retirement. Your professor in History of Magic is Penople Michaelson. Other classes will be with the same teachers as before. Now lets eat. Tuck In"

And with that he waved his arms, and food appared on the tables, and students began to tuck in on the food before them, except for Ronald Weasley whose food after he tried to get more of it disappared from his hands or plate, and he was getting more and more pissed of at this, and at the end, he began to get others' food, who then began to argue with him loudly and to give their food back now.

In the end, of almost food fight, Minerva came down and she told him to stop his doings, and act like a human and have manners that he sorely lacks from not learning a thing from his mother, at that he went to yell at her, but she used a cleaning spell which made him have bubbles out of his mouth, and it turned him to look green of that mixed with food in his mouth still taste horribly. She then told him that he was a pig and needed to learn not only how to eat proporly but also manners around others.

He then was given 2 weeks detention with Filch and McGonagell, to help them out with tasks with only his hands, no Magic was allowed during those times with them. He then was to sit back down and be quiet for once and eat no more as the food and desserts were all gone by this time. So he sat down grumpingly, and glaring at the table. Others scooted away from him for now. Making him sit rather lonely at his place of the Gryffindor's table.

After that, the first year were lead by their prefects of each houses, to the dorms. Ronald tried to follow after Hermione but the spell around him, put a stop to it, and also Lavender dragged him away from his attended target and went onto her tiring talk into his ear. He was back to his foul mood rather soon after getting to the dorm, but no sign of Harry or Hermione nor his own little sister. For what he didnt know was that Ginerva was to share a room with her intended, and when he came to his own, he found Lavender waiting there, and he went to their bed without a look or say to Lavender in grumpy mood.

Hermione and her boys were given a room of their own, as due to their relationship and Hermione's pregnancy, they also had a nursery ready for their babies and few nanny elves to help them out. In all, most of the people went to bed in rather happy moods. Harry found himself with Colin and his friends instead of Ron or anyone else of his true year and it made him wonder why he was with a year younger ones. He would find out tomorrow like Ron and Ginny would when getting their timetables of the new year.
