So this… thing with the firefighter from the 118… he didn't want it. He wanted nothing to do with it. If he could be on the other side of the world from it, he would have gone there yesterday. If they ignored it, stopped whatever activity fed the thing, Eddie was sure it would just go away. Or, Instead of joining the 118, Eddie winds up in the 124th. Him and Buck end up together.

Buck took charge after the interstate exchange collapse. He held the 118 together and did everything right. He was a superhero! He climbed walls, sawed through doors, hung from ropes, and got all of his injured loved ones the help they needed. But he missed one detail. He never noticed that he was injured, too...until it caught up to him.

Buck decides that he can't wait to meet the right woman, he wants to make his own family now. This puts him in the perfect place to become the new family his niece needs when her parents are unable to be there for her. Alisa Diaz and her family have moved to Los Angeles, California from El Paso, Texas. They wanted to start fresh after all the pressure they were experiencing from her husband's family and most importantly, a fresh start for the most wonderful child in the world.
