The disclaimer telling you that I don't own any Ghosts characters has flown off. This is just some silly fluffy fun.

Airship!

"AIRSHIP!" Thorfinn shouted as he came out of the mansion and went outside. "AIRSHIP!"

The other ghosts followed him. "I do hear something," Isaac remarked.

"That's because there is something!" Flower pointed. "Look in the sky!"

"Oh my!" Hetty gasped as she saw something.

"Airship!" Thorfinn pointed. "Airship!"

"It's called a helicopter Thor," Pete told him.

"Look at that thing," Hetty gasped. "See how the top twirls around like that?"

"That's pretty cool," Alberta remarked.

"Don't see many helicopters around here," Sasappis added. "In fact, this is the first helicopter I've seen fly over!"

"I've ridden on several helicopters," Trevor grinned. "And I can tell you right now that's one of those luxury ones. Private for jet setters and billionaires."

"Oooh!" Hetty twittered. "Is that the modern equivalent of owning the newest horseless carriage?"

"Oh yeah," Trevor nodded. "It's even better because you know? Helicopters can fly. And they get there faster. And you can drink on the flight."

"That I'm down for," Alberta nodded.

"Look how fast it's going!" Pete gasped. The ghosts started to follow the helicopter.

"Airship!" Thorfinn said excitedly. "Airship!"

"Yes, Thorfinn we've established that!" Isaac told him. "No need to keep repeating it!"

"That's a big one," Trevor nodded. "They're usually not that big. Probably owned by some rich guy. Going to a meeting or a weekend getaway!"

"On a Thursday?" Pete asked.

"Ever hear of an early weekend?" Trevor looked at him.

They watched as the helicopter flew into the distance. Sasappis sighed. "And that ladies and gentlemen, was the highlight of our day."

"Awww…" The others grumbled.

Hetty remarked. "It was still exciting."

"Definitely something we don't usually see around here," Isaac agreed.

"I've only seen helicopters on TV," Alberta added. "Never one in real life."

"I wonder where it was going?" Pete asked.

"Far, far, far from here," Trevor sighed.

The ghosts all made a sigh of sadness. "Now what?" Flower asked.

"Back inside I suppose," Isaac sighed. The other ghosts groaned in disappointment.

"Wait…" Sasappis paused. "I think I hear something else."

"He's right," Thorfinn nodded. "Something else is coming! OOOH! OOH! AIRSHIP! ANOTHER AIRSHIP!"

"It's a plane!" Pete said excitedly. "A plane! A plane!"

"A helicopter and a plane flying over the mansion in one day?" Isaac remarked happily. "Well, this is one for the old memory banks!"

"Must be a bunch of rich people going somewhere," Trevor guessed. "Oh, they could be headed for a weekend in some luxury resort or fancy mansion in Canada. Or somewhere else upstate."

"Aren't we already upstate?" Sasappis asked.

"Further upstate then!" Trevor rolled his eyes. "I'm just guessing! I don't have their flight plan!"

"It's not a commercial airplane, is it?" Pete asked. "I mean even from this distance that doesn't look like a regular plane."

"It's a luxury jet," Trevor nodded. "I'll bet a bunch of backrubs that's a luxury jet going somewhere. Maybe the same destination as the helicopter?"

"I suppose that's possible," Isaac remarked. "There it goes. Out of sight. Far from here."

"That was interesting," Hetty sighed with disappointment. "Over way too soon."

"Maybe something else will fly over the mansion?" Pete suggested.

"Probably just birds," Alberta remarked. "Still worth a shot."

"Better than just standing around inside," Trevor agreed as they all looked upwards.

"It is a nice day," Isaac remarked as they looked at the sky.

"Very nice," Thorfinn nodded. "Not that many clouds. Very clear sky."

Isaac spoke up. "Oh! Do you older ghosts remember the first time we ever heard about planes?"

"I admit it," Sasappis remarked. "When I first heard about them, I thought it was a scam."

"Yes," Hetty nodded. "As did I. I remember my son was reading about what was happening in this place called Kitty Hawk and I thought it was a bunch of nonsense!"

"Thorfinn thought it was really funny joke," Thorfinn added. "People flying like birds! HA! Silly!"

"Yeah, but planes exist Thor," Flower said.

"Well of course Thorfinn believes in planes now," Thorfinn told her.

"What day did you finally believe in planes?" Flower asked.

"The day Bob fell out of one," Thorfinn admitted. "Saw it fly off after Bob…Splat!"

"Yes, it was proof that man can create machines that can fly," Isaac remarked. "He just can't do it on his own."

"Well, I've been on a lot of planes," Trevor told him.

"Me too!" Pete said. "As a travel agent I got all the perks. I got discounts like you wouldn't believe! I even got to ride in first class once! Whoo! That was wild!"

"I remember when I was with the cult," Flower added. "We used to hang around airports looking for change. Until the day we tried to hijack one. That was wild!" She started to laugh hysterically.

Trevor remarked. "Flower you and Thor have a lot more in common than you think."

"Yeah, I've noticed that too," Alberta nodded.

"I remember flying on planes," Pete sighed.

Trevor grinned. "I remember when I first joined the Mile High Club."

"Me too," Flower grinned.

"Flower you are part of the Perpetually High Club," Alberta snorted. "Damn it. I wish I was a member of that club."

"Me too," Trevor sighed.

"What is this Mile High Club?" Hetty asked. "And how does one go about joining it? Is it an exclusive club?"

"Let me put it to you this way," Trevor remarked. "If there's ever anyone who parks a helicopter here and then flies around Woodstone Mansion, I'll make sure you get in."

"More like you'll make sure you'll get in," Alberta snorted.

"That goes without saying," Trevor grinned.

Hetty then realized. "It's something dirty, isn't it?"

"Oh yeah," Trevor grinned.

"It's sex on a plane Hetty," Flower explained. "Did you ever have sex on a plane Pete?"

"Oh, dear God no," Pete winced. "Carol never even liked eating on a plane let alone…"

"Oh look!" Isaac interrupted. "There are some birds over there!"

"Called it," Alberta groaned. "Oh, are those bluebirds?"

"They are," Pete said. "They're cute!"

"I don't usually see bluebirds this time of year," Hetty remarked.

"They are cute," Thorfinn remarked. "Not as interesting as airships but…"

"I have an idea," Pete spoke up. "Maybe later we can have Sam look up plane facts and trivia?"

"Yeah okay," Trevor shrugged.

"Might be worth a listen," Sasappis said at the same time.

"Why not?" Alberta said at the same time.

"Alright then," Hetty said at the same time.

Isaac nodded. "It might not be a bad idea to broaden our horizons on this particular topic? Yes. We should do that."

"Ooh!" Trevor had an idea. "We can watch a movie about planes!"

"Those movies always invoke planes crashing or some kind of disaster," Pete said. "Lots of people getting killed and huge fires."

"Thorfinn votes for plane movie!" Thorfinn called out.

"Me too!" Flower added. "What? It's fake violence. Not real violence. Nobody actually gets hurt. Totally different."

"We could make a night out of it," Pete suggested. "Plane facts and plane movies."

"And throw in some stuff about helicopters," Sasappis added.

"Definitely," Trevor nodded. "Pete and I could tell stories about the times we flew on planes."

"I can imagine the types of stories you would tell," Hetty groaned.

"Not all of them involved sex!" Trevor told her. "There were…one or two times that happened."

"I think I'd rather hear about the sex stories," Sasappis realized.

"Thorfinn too," Thorfinn nodded.

"I wonder if there are any songs about planes?" Alberta thought aloud. "I mean there are songs about ships and cars and trains? Why not planes? I need to ask Alexa that!"

"Oh, you can ask the Alexa about plane facts!" Isaac realized.

"That's a good idea," Alberta nodded.

"That's the spirit!" Pete grinned. "No pun intended."

"Thorfinn hears something else," Thorfinn cocked his head. "OH! OH! AIRSHIP! AIRSHIP!"

"It's another plane!" Isaac said excitedly. "It's another plane!"

"Okay there is definitely something going on here," Trevor called out over the excited whoops of the ghosts. "Maybe it's a big board meeting? Or a company buyout!"

"You think this is a precursor to some kind of corporate dealings?" Hetty asked.

"What else could it be?" Trevor asked.

"They could have just changed the flight patterns," Pete suggested.

"Why would they do that?" Trevor asked. "Seriously what's up there that we don't know about?"

"I don't know!" Pete snapped. "Maybe this is temporary and it's a storm or something?"

"We've only seen one helicopter and two jets," Trevor told him. "No commercial aircraft!"

"I said it was just a theory!" Pete protested.

"And now they're going to argue about planes for a while," Isaac sighed.

Alberta sighed. "God our afterlives are pathetic."

Sasappis grumbled. "Yeah, I bet livings have no idea what it's like to be stuck in one place for a long period of time and can't go anywhere."
