Avatar: The First Light Shaman by Amit Barabi:

Here is a summary for those who read my story on their phone's browser:

The world lost its balance when the Avatar vanished, and the Spirits combined their powers to create a portal between the Spirit World and the Emerald Dream to find an ally.

Separately, the Draenei, led by Velen, landed on Kyoshi Island to let their Naaru rest for a few years on their way to Draenor.

This is the story of Aang becoming the first Light Shaman in his world.

Author's Notes:

Avatar The Last Airbender does not belong to me. World of Warcraft does not belong to me.

This is my second attempt at writing an Avatar story, and with my experience from the last three years, I believe it will be better than last time.

My main focus is going to stay with my Ben 10 and Marvel crossover, but I still plan to give this one some attention occasionally.

The Draenei were on the run from the Burning Legion for a long time.

The Dark Titan Sargeras turned their species against them, destroyed their planet's core, and left them stranded aboard a Naaru-powered spaceship named the Genadar, fighting for survival.

Their leader, Velen, found a world for them to live in for hundreds of years before the Legion could find them, named Draenor, but their ship was running out of Arcane power, and their three Naaru, K'ure, D'ore, and K'ara, were running out of Light with K'ara doing worse than the others. Arriving at Draenor would have taken the Draenei three years in their ship's current state, and there was no guarantee they could land at that point.

Their system detected a world nearby that had the necessary resources to sustain the refugees for a while and give their Naaru time to rest and refuel their Light power. That world was called Earth.

...

A group of twelve thirteen-year-old girls, including Suki, took a breather after an intense Kyoshi Warrior training session on Avatar Kyoshi's namesake island.

Their island had been created by one of the previous Avatars, Kyoshi, and as a part of the island traditions, groups of girls from the age of four were trained their whole lives to protect their island from invaders and wars. Their world had been at war for the last 97 years, but the evil Fire Nation had not found them yet, and they intended to keep it this way.

Suki usually suggested playing hide-and-seek to sharpen her friends' sneaking skills and match hers, and the others always agreed and declared her their future leader once they were old enough. It looked like it was going to be another ordinary play time until all the girls were stunned at the sight above them.

A vessel made of silver-colored metal and magenta crystals landed smoothly from the heavens at the great gap between two of the island's mountains.
