Somewhere across multiple universes, a small planet existed with a sole source of life - an Island with a giant purple volcano at its center. This Island was known as Volcano Island, and the prophecy foretold a recurring event every ten years. An Evil Monster, the Mawgu, returned to the island to create chaos and destruction in the lives of its inhabitants. But the prophecy also spoke of nine chosen mortals who would appear every decade to vanquish the Mawgu and send it back to the universe meant for prisoners.

As dark purple clouds gathered and lightning crackled across the sky, the islanders panicked. The Mawgu had returned, and the island's Elder, known as Old Man Hermit Crab, the Shaman and Protector of the Beach, stood tall, holding his staff up to the sky. "We can wait no longer!" he cried. "The Nicktoons are not coming back to save us from the Mawgu's return!"

He continued, "It is foretold in the prophecy that new chosen ones will be sent to save us from this monster!" Just then, the lightning drew closer, and the entire Island was engulfed in the purple darkness of evil. Rain started to pour, indicating that the rift couldn't hold the Mawgu any longer.

A massive portal materialized near the Volcano, and two huge purple hands emerged, grabbing the rim of the mountain and starting to pull. The hands dragged out a vast, purple, rock-like monster; the Mawgu had returned to torment the residents of the Island yet again.

"Out again at last!" the Mawgu yelled victoriously, his glowing hands emanating a terrifying aura that made anyone who looked at him shiver in fear.

The Mawgu declared, "This Time! I'll make sure nothing will stop me!" and sent lightning shooting into the skies, swallowing up the clouds. "Let your chosen ones come; this time, I'll be ready!" he said, before retreating into the purple volcano.

But the skies cleared, and The Wise old Crab smiled, knowing that no matter what, the chosen ones would triumph. The Shaman looked up to the heavens and saw two small silhouettes falling from the sky, hurtling towards the beach. "Ahh, here they come," he said with a happy smile.

One of the silhouettes was screaming uncontrollably, while the other appeared calm, as if falling to their death was a regular occurrence. Suddenly, the calm figure sprouted wings from their back, grabbed the other, and took off flying, stopping their fall.

The winged figure carried the other closer to where Old Man Hermit Crab was located on the beach. When they hit the sand, a cloud of dust rose, shrouding their identity. Soon, the sandy fog dissipated, revealing a pair of corset boots with purple ribbon laces belonging to a great hero.

Colossus Equinox stood tall and strong, holding Mabel in her arms; the two of them were among the nine chosen ones.

"How many times do I have to be magically teleported to another world?" Mabel asked as Colossus set her down, allowing her to slip out of her arms.

"At least I caught you before your body exploded on the beach!" Colossus replied, expressionless.

They started to brush the sand off themselves, unaware of the Giant Hermit Crab standing behind them. As far as they knew, they were still on an ordinary beach on Earth.

Soon, the Old Man Hermit Crab approached the girls to greet them properly. "Welcome, strong girl and human child of happiness!" he said, bowing to them.

They both slowly turned around.

"AAH!" Mabel exclaimed in fear, while Colossus simply put a hand on her hip, looking at the Crab wearily.

"Oh please, Mabel," she said, rolling her eyes even though there was a giant hermit crab right there.

"Dude! That is a giant talking hermit crab; you can't expect me not to be surprised!" Mabel exclaimed.

"I know you two may be startled at first, but try not to worry too much," the wise hermit said gently. "Take a chance to look around and get acquainted with your surroundings," he advised.

The two girls started to look around and saw that they were on a beautiful tropical beach with palm trees and soft sand - it was like a perfect tropical paradise.

"I know this place," Colossus claimed, unbelievably.

"How? Have you seen this island before?" Mabel asked, curious.

"Only every time I play my favorite video game!" Colossus answered with a smile on her face.

"Chosen ones, we have brought you here to save our island and the universe from the Mawgu!" the wise old hermit explained to the two girls.

"Mawgu?!" they both asked, cocking their heads in confusion.

"He is the monster that comes every ten years to torment us, and every ten years, the prophecy sends us new heroes to defeat it!" he explained.

"Wait, hold up. So you're telling us that this monster has been coming back every ten years for like an eon now to torture you," Colossus interrupted.

"And you haven't found a way to get rid of it permanently, so it won't come back ever again to torment you!" Mabel added, agreeing with Colossus in confusion.

"It is not told in prophecy that we should destroy the Mawgu. Every ten years, we have new chosen ones to banish it into the rip!" the Hermit Crab said.

"Okay... and how long have you been doing this?" Colossus asked, crossing her arms and tilting her head; she was hoping for a decent answer.

"Uh, let's see. The first ones to save us were a black and white mouse and others... Soo... about 90 years!" he answered truthfully.

"90 years?!" Colossus said, surprised.

"So, this is the ninth time you summoned 'chosen ones'?" Mabel asked.

"Yep! And we're not stopping today! As long as the Mawgu keeps coming, heroes will always come to save our beloved island!" he protested happily.

Mabel and Colossus exchanged disappointed looks; they felt sorry for the islanders who had to endure the same nightmare repeatedly.

"There are other chosen ones scattered across the island that you'll have to locate. It might take you more than a day to find them," he explained.

"You'll need to set up your temporary base at camp, which isn't far from here. Start from there, and you'll encounter your companions on the way," he continued.

"Well, it's not like we weren't going to save the universe again!" Mabel replied with a shrug and a grin.

"Let's go, Mabel. We're going to save Volcano Island," Colossus added.

Mabel and Colossus traversed the beach, searching for a clear path or a river that could guide them to the campsite. Out of nowhere, Dipper's journal fell from the sky and struck Mabel on the head.

"Ow! What the..." Mabel exclaimed, rubbing her head before realizing it was Dipper's journal, the third one. "Why is my brother's journal here?" she asked, kneeling on the sand and picking it up.

"I wonder where it came from," Colossus pondered, gazing up at the sky, curious if anything else would fall. "Maybe Dipper is here too?" she speculated.

Suddenly, a toaster oven plummeted from the sky and smashed onto Colossus's head. Despite the fountain of blood gushing from her scalp, Colossus appeared unfazed, her pendant illuminating and healing her injury, ceasing the blood flow.

"Are you okay?" Mabel inquired, bewildered by Colossus's resilience.

"Eh, it didn't really hurt. If a werewolf punched me in the face, it would only sting!" Colossus boasted, unfazed by the incident.

"Lots of junk seems to be falling out of the sky!" Colossus noticed as they scanned the area that was nearly covered in items from different places and universes.

"We need to get out of here before we get hit again," Mabel replied, not wanting to experience another injury.

As Colossus was about to follow, she stumbled upon a bookshelf filled with books and movies. She picked up a manga and gasped in excitement. "I love this series!"

Mabel was surprised, "I didn't know you were into manga."

"Didn't Dipper tell you about the stuff I have in my room?" Colossus asked, "He likes to snitch to everyone about what a dork I am," she smiled.

"I always thought you were into punk and goth stuff who watched horror movies and hung out in back alleys and abandoned buildings," Mabel explained.

"Oh, I am that too," Colossus chuckled, "But I also like reading and watching other stuff, not just blood and gore!"

Colossus sighed, her head fell forward, "These were on a bookshelf which means they belong to someone; I can't take these." Her voice sounded disappointed.

As they walked away, Mabel said, "You're kind of a pushover for a demon if you don't give in to sins and steal."

Colossus smiled, "That's a brave thing to say, Kiddo. But I do give in to my sins. And you want to know what one of those sins is?"

Mabel hesitated, "Is it murder?"

"Wait, don't answer that!" She added.

Mabel remembered the time when Colossus killed a monster to save her life. It scared her, but it didn't change her perspective on her friend.

"I also give in to Gluttony. Do you remember when we first met and I showed you how I ate?" Colossus said, making Mabel chuckle at the memory.

They paused for a moment to admire the beach and ocean before continuing their walk.

"Who do you think the other chosen ones are? Do you think Steven and Star are here too?" Mabel asked.

"I hope so. If that's the case, we'll have four. But who could the other five be?" Colossus wondered.

"Maybe Dipper is the fifth!" Mabel suggested, holding up the journal.

"Is this entire island one big cliff?" Colossus groaned, frustrated at the seemingly endless wall of rock surrounding them.

Suddenly, Colossus's Aunt's van fell from the sky and landed right in front of her.

"Ah!" Colossus cried out, startled. However, she quickly regained her composure and approached the van.

"Hey, it's the Doyle Supernatural Hunting Van!" Colossus exclaimed.

"The what?" Mabel asked, confused.

"It's my aunt's van, equipped with hunting gear," Colossus explained. "She's going to be so mad when she finds out it's gone."

Colossus attempted to open the van, but it was locked. "Of course, it's locked. Damn it!" she exclaimed.

"Why don't you just bust it open?" Mabel suggested.

"I can't destroy my aunt's van," Colossus replied. "She would be furious, even if she didn't know it was me."

Suddenly, several other vehicles fell from the sky, including Stan's car, creating a makeshift staircase up to the ridge and providing them with easy access to the island.

"Although the falling cars are hazardous, they work to our advantage. It's much easier than walking all day," Colossus said.

"Good idea!" Mabel agreed, and Colossus picked her up and slung her over her shoulder. They began to jump on each vehicle, effortlessly soaring higher than any human.

"You know you don't have to carry me," Mabel said.

"Please, you couldn't climb all of this by yourself," Colossus replied as they finally reached the cliff.

She took one final jump, grabbed the edge with one hand, and pulled herself up with all her strength. When she stood on the solid ground, she set Mabel down. "I sure do love being your Esmeralda!" Mabel said sarcastically with a smile.

"Hey, I've got extra strength. I don't know what to do with it," Colossus said with a smile. "You know I like to help people out and challenge myself."

"Why didn't you just fly us up here?" Mabel asked.

"I don't like to use my wings all the time," Colossus replied. "I prefer to use my arms and legs."

They continued walking into the island and soon came across a sandy bog. No matter where they went, there was lots of wet sand everywhere.

"Hey, Colossus, look! It's Gideon's giant robot monster thingy from our first fight together. We sure showed him!" Mabel pointed at the giant spider robot.

"We sure did, Mabel!" Colossus agreed, as they looked at the scenery, realizing it wasn't just essentials and belongings getting sent here; it was big things as well.

There was even a giant dark shadow castle completely upside down sticking out of a muddy bog. "Is that my cousin's old castle?" Colossus said.

"Sucks for him!" Mabel said. "I say he deserves it for being a creepy perv!" She smiled at the wrecked castle.

"If only I had my App-Boy or at least a phone," Colossus said as she walked, looking at her wrist, missing the feeling of having handheld entertainment. She moved her hand away and looked down to see a tiny little sand volcano with glowing purple inside.

"Huh?" She cocked an eyebrow, then squatted down for a closer look. "It's not anything I have ever seen before," she said, confused.

Suddenly the little fumarole spat out a blob of purple goo that landed right on the sand. "Gross!" Mabel said.

The sand started to move around the blob and began to form into something, covering the blob and ultimately transforming it into a walking sand monster.

A sand monster with dark purple eyes and a mouth oozing with purple slime emerged from the blob. Two more blobs spat out of the ground, creating two additional sand monsters. Colossus stood up to confront the sand monsters without fear.

"What are they!?" Mabel yelled, grabbing onto her friend's arm. "They're made of sand and goo!".

"Get out of our way," Colossus said sternly, but the sand monsters charged toward them, growling and snarling, ready to attack.

She punched one of them, turning it back into sand, but her hand was now covered in the purple goo. "What is this goo? It's more disgusting than demon's blood," Colossus said, shaking off the residue.

"I think it controls these monsters like a mutation," Mabel said, stating the obvious. "It reminds me of those horror games Wendy plays."

One of the sand monsters attacked Mabel, causing her to tumble back onto the sand. It let out a growl hovering over her, but Mabel kicked it in the belly. Her foot went straight through, kicking a purple slime ball out of its back, rendering it lifeless. "Ew!" she said, trying to shake the goo off her leg. Although she removed the slime, it had stained her sock.

Colossus ripped out the goo from inside the last sand monster, turning it back into sand after removing its life source. She then proceeded to tear down the sand volcano and filled the hole with sand and rocks to prevent more monsters from sprouting out of the sand.

After helping Mabel up, Colossus and Mabel cleaned themselves, dusting off the sand and wiping off the goo from their body parts in disgust. "I think we'll have to deal with this from now on," Colossus said. "At least we know their weakness."

Boing Boing, Suddenly, the sounds of bouncing springs filled the area of the island, loud enough for anyone to hear. It was more like a trampoline than anything else.

"Is that a trampoline?" Mabel asked, puzzled by the odd sound. "What would a trampoline be doing on an island like this?"

"It doesn't sound far," Colossus said, unfolding her wings. "Maybe if we get into the air, we can get a better view of the area and see who is bouncing." She scooped up Mabel in her arms and took flight.

As they flew higher, they surveyed the area for the source of the bouncing sound. Soon, Mabel pointed down to a shirtless boy bouncing on a trampoline while reading a book.

"I think he's one of the chosen ones!" Mabel squealed.

Colossus descended toward the bouncing boy, and as they neared, she slowed down her wings to land softly on the ground, a foot away from the trampoline. She set Mabel down and noticed a few things: an orange shirt hanging off the edge, a vest, and a pine tree hat bouncing next to the boy's legs.

"Dipper, you're here!" Mabel yelled to the boy. "It makes sense it was you. Who else jumps on a trampoline while reading a book? The guy is a bookworm."

Dipper lowered his book and looked down to see Mabel and Colossus on the ground. "Oh, Mabel! You're here?!" he said, excitedly while still bouncing.

"What's up, PineTree!" Colossus smiled, holding up a peace sign.

"Hey, SickleMoon!" Dipper yelled back.

Suddenly, he stopped bouncing and collapsed on his knees, gasping for air and wiping sweat off his forehead. "What are we doing on this island?" he asked, using his vest to clean himself up.

"We're the chosen ones, picked to save Volcano Island and the universe from destruction," Mabel explained succinctly.

Dipper was excited to hear this news.

"Is this for real?" he asked.

"We even got a talk from a giant hermit crab," Colossus added. "I didn't think we were chosen one worthy," she said bleakly.

Dipper was thrilled with the idea of saving the universe and the island, pumping his fist in the air. Mabel jumped and hugged him, happy to see him. "This is a twin adventure now!" she exclaimed.

Then she remembered something and handed him his journal. Dipper was relieved to have his favorite possession back. "I thought for a second it was gone!" he said, putting the journal back in his vest.

"We better get going; we should make it to this camp before it gets dark," Colossus said, checking the sun. They set off towards the camp, leaving the sand bog behind and heading into another part of the island.

"So what are we doing here? What are we protecting the island from?" Dipper asked.

"It's the Mawgu Creature. It escapes from its prison every ten years to terrorize the island and its people," Mabel explained dramatically.

"Every ten years? How many times has this happened?" Dipper asked.

"Nine times," Colossus replied.

"Ninety years?!" Dipper exclaimed, surprised, and began to ponder.

"Shouldn't they have done something to ensure it never comes back?" he asked.

"That's what we said!" Colossus and Mabel said in unison.

"But it's not prophesied to do so!" Colossus added.

"If you ask me, I think we should take matters into our own hands and make sure it's gone permanently!" Dipper exclaimed, slamming his fist into his palm.

"Couldn't agree more! That way, these people can start living their lives in peace without needing heroes to save them repeatedly!" Mabel chimed in.

"Hey, Pines, changing the subject, why were you bouncing on a trampoline?" Colossus asked.

"Well, I guess it was to avoid getting anxious or freaking out," Dipper answered. "After getting sent here and feeling abandoned, I got kind of scared," he admitted.

"Stupid as it might seem, I wanted to take my mind off the fact that I was lost on an island for a moment, especially when I lost my journal," he explained.

"Getting some exercise, my brain started to run faster than usual, so I wanted to put it into reading," he added.

"Thank goodness it hasn't been that long," Dipper said, relieved.

Soon enough, they found themselves on another part of the island, a different beach from the one Mabel and Colossus had landed on and met the old crab.

As they approached, they spotted a vast, wrecked ship that appeared to be a luxury ocean liner, likely over a hundred years old. Barnacles and plants grew around the metal, giving it an eerie and desolate appearance.

"The Campania," Dipper said, reading the name of the ship out loud. "Wasn't that the British ship that was supposed to go to New York?" he asked, trying to remember.

"Well, whatever happened to this ship, it can't be helped now; we can't go back in time and stop it from getting wrecked," Colossus said, acknowledging her powers as a time traveler. "We could, but we shouldn't," she corrected herself with a shrug.

"You're right; we've learned not to change history for personal gain," Dipper said, feeling a bit sheepish.

The ship was too large to circumnavigate, and the shallow area around it prevented any walking. "We could climb up on the ship and avoid getting wet," Colossus suggested, pointing to an old and algae-covered net.

"That's a good idea," Mabel said, eager to avoid getting her clothes wet.

"I'm not a strong swimmer, so climbing is definitely faster," Dipper admitted, rubbing the back of his head.

"We should start climbing from lightest to heaviest," Colossus said, smirking as she looked at her muscles and then her chest. "Obviously, I should go last."

"You can fly, you know," Dipper reminded her.

"Ugh, fine," Colossus groaned, "It's probably best that way since I would end up breaking the net."

As the twins started to climb, Colossus took off and flew up to the top of the ship, landing gently on the deck. She squatted down over the edge and reached her hands down to help both Dipper and Mabel climb up.

They took Colossus's hands, and with a quick pull, she hoisted them up onto the deck with her. Once all of them were on the deck, they marveled at the wrecked luxury liner. The royal purple carpeting was stained and torn, and the paintings of what looked like royalty were ripped from the edges. Broken chandeliers from what was left of the roof littered the floor.

As they walked on the glossed wooded floor, they realized they were on the luxury deck for the rich people who couldn't stand the common folk in the tiers below them, so they stayed as far above them as possible.

"Even torn up, it still looks amazing," Mabel said in awe.

"I wonder what happened to the passengers?" she mused.

"Ha! Maybe they died and came back as zombies," Colossus joked, wiggling her fingers.

Dipper's face turned pale at the thought, "Please, don't even joke about that," he pleaded.

"At least your Zombie Apocalypse happened for one night. Mine lasted for years!" Colossus said, recalling her past experiences.

Mabel shook her head, "What could've caused this shipwreck?"

"I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if we find skeletons of the passengers on board," Dipper said, picking up a broken piece of chandelier.

Colossus looked around and marveled, "This place looks like it could be in a museum! It's older than you guys."

As they approached a vast drop where the ship was broken in half, they could see the dining deck below their feet, or what was left of it. It was a shame to see it in this condition; no doubt it was beautiful. Colossus widened her eyes a little bit in surprise at what she saw. Although it did not frighten her, it was still uneasy to see something like it.

It was a grim scene. The bodies were decomposing, with half their bones exposed and the rest of their flesh decayed. Yet, despite the state of decay, some of the corpses still had recognizable features, such as hair on their heads. One woman, dressed in red, lay sprawled on a broken table with wooden shards impaling her torso. Nearby, a man in white lay slumped in his chair with a massive shard lodged in his skull. These were just a few examples of the many gruesome deaths that had occurred on the ship. It was evident that something had caused a lot of damage and taken many lives.

Most people would have been sickened by the sight, but Colossus was not a typical person. As a demon, she was accustomed to such things and calmly lit a cigarette as she looked down at the corpses. However, she couldn't help but notice that some of the bodies appeared to have died long before the others. They had old, dry blood and flesh in their teeth and were wearing blindfolds. This realization only added to the mystery of what had happened on the ship.

Mabel approached to see what was below, but Colossus quickly covered her eyes. "You don't want to see!" she warned, her voice uncharacteristically modest.

"What's wrong?" Dipper asked.

"Death!" Colossus replied. "It's what's wrong. And it will stare right back at you if you look down."

The stench of decay filled Dipper's nose as he stepped closer. He realized that Colossus was right; he did not want to look down at the lower deck.

"Mabel, you should do as she says," he said, pulling his shirt over his nose to block out the stench of death so he wouldn't gag or vomit.

Colossus let go of Mabel, who quickly covered her nose as the putrid smell hit her. "Ew, I can probably guess what's down there," she said, gagging and pulling her sweater up.

"To me, it's like a walk in the park, but I know it would be a sight of horror for you," Colossus said, tossing her cigarette into the pit of corpses and maggots. Then she looked up and saw a net on the side of the ship's wall that led to an upper ledge.

Across the gap, Colossus spotted a chandelier barely attached to a wooden plank, which gave her an idea. "Hey, I have an idea!" she called over to the Pines Twins. "If we can jump on the chandelier, grab onto it, and swing to the other side!" She pointed up.

"Seems like our only option," Dipper said, though he didn't have much confidence in the plan.

"Alright, I'll go first!" Colossus said, ready to jump.

"Ah, Colossus, I suggest you fly this time!" Dipper tried to stop her, knowing she was likely to break the chandelier with her weight.

"Ah, come on! Just let me have this!" she said, acting like it wasn't a big deal and wanting to be reckless.

"SickleMoon! I don't think that's a good idea!" Dipper pleaded.

"Come on! What's the worst that could happen?" She pushed him aside and prepared to jump.

Colossus jumped, grabbing onto the rim of the chandelier. She started to swing, then let go of the rim, launching herself straight into the air, doing a flip, and landing safely on the other side.

"See! I told you there was nothing to worry ab-" Colossus was cut off as the plank holding the chandelier snapped in half, causing it to fall on top of more corpses.

CRASH The chandelier broke into pieces as it impaled on the corpses it landed on. Soon, the plank fell into the pit, making a thunking sound on the ground. Colossus had a wide-eyed expression on her face and then closed her mouth, realizing she had spoken too soon.

She turned to face Mabel and Dipper on the other side of the deck. Mabel was staring at where the chandelier landed as Dipper held up his middle finger.

"Now what?" Mabel said in a frustrated tone.

Dipper threw his hands down in frustration, knowing he was right about the chandelier, and then his eyes fell on something that caught his interest. It was a thin wooden ledge up against the wall, with just enough space to press the body up against it and hold onto the side rails, so they could cross.

"Okay! I have an idea!" Dipper said.

Seconds later, they found themselves scooting against the wall, holding onto the rail and slowly moving.

"Almost there, guys!" Colossus said. Akumu no Kyuketsuki floated next to her, looking at the Pines.

As usual, no one else could see her, only her host. "You know you could help!" Colossus said.

"Eh, give them a little faith with ya!" Colossus replied. She didn't want to baby them all the time, but if something were to happen, she would be there to help.

Dipper was the first to make it to the other side, and he stood by Colossus, now waiting for Mabel to make it.

"Come on, Mabes!" Colossus said, urging her on.

She was just about to reach the end when suddenly the handlebar came loose and detached completely from the wall. With a loud gasp, Mabel lost her footing, and she would have fallen if Dipper hadn't caught her hand just in time. The broken handlebar fell to the dining deck below, making a loud clanging noise.

After the close call, both of them were breathing heavily, and Mabel growled, "Screw you, Hollywood. That wasn't even close to easy."

"That was way too close," Dipper said, as they finally caught their breath and continued onward.

Mabel suggested they keep moving, eager to get out of there. "I want to get out of here; this place reminds me of death," she added.

As Mabel started to climb the net, Dipper followed her, while Colossus stayed for a moment to look at the dead passengers below deck once more.

"Poor people," she said, squatting down and putting a finger to her chin, still pondering the fate of the corpses. "How long have they been here? Was there some time warp?"

"Dipper, Mabel, come on!" Colossus heard Dipper yell, bringing her back to the present. She quickly flapped her wings and flew up to join Mabel and Dipper as they climbed the net.

"Be careful, guys. We don't know what's up there!" Colossus warned.

Finally, they reached the top deck of the cruise ship, the observation deck. The open-air space was much easier to navigate, and they were relieved to see that all the corpses were below deck.

"Wow, you know me and Dipper have never been on a cruise ship," Mabel said, looking around in amazement, imagining being on this lovely boat out on the water.

"Really? Because I-" Colossus's words were abruptly cut off by a sudden scream for help coming from the other side of the deck. "Help! Somebody, please help me!" cried out a young boy, his voice trembling with fear.

"Did you hear that?" Dipper asked.

"Yeah, someone else is here," Colossus said, recognizing the voice with concern in her tone. Without wasting any more time, she sprinted towards the direction of the cry for help with lightning-fast speed.

"Wait, Colossus!" Mabel yelled after her, but it was too late. Colossus had already disappeared, leaving behind a trail of bright purple light that looked similar to the famous blue hedgehog Sonic, the speed demon.

"Wow, did you know she could run that fast?" Dipper asked his sister, surprised by Colossus's sudden display of superhuman speed.

"No, this is new to me," Mabel replied, equally astonished. "When did she become Flash? I thought she was always more like Batman."

Under one second, Colossus reached the destination and found Timmy Sherlock, the brown-haired fox boy, screaming in fear, surrounded by giant carnivorous birds that had scraped and pecked at him. This filled Colossus with anger; her eyes glowed demonically as she gritted her sharp teeth. She wouldn't stand for this.

"Timmy!" she yelled, charging towards the monsters. With her incredible speed and strength, she crushed the head of one of the birds as she landed heavily on it, leaving a bloody residue on her boots.

"Colossus!" Timmy yelled with joy, grateful for her arrival, despite the fact that she had just killed an animal. He knew that this was a side of her that she used to protect her people, and he trusted her.

Colossus continued to kill each bird that came near Timmy, growing claws on her fingers and slashing them into pieces, blood splattering everywhere. Suddenly, a grappling hook flew over all of them, wrapping around a tree branch that hung over the deck of the ship.

Mabel appeared, swinging in on her grappling hook and grabbed Timmy, taking him away from the carnivorous birds and the blood splatter.

"Thanks, Mabel!" Timmy said, relieved to be safe.

Dipper greeted Timmy, tussling his hair with both hands, and Colossus ran over, her arms outstretched. After running through the puddle of blood, she picked up Timmy and swung him around. He smiled and hugged her back, and his tail spun around.

"Hey, Big Man!" Colossus said, using her nickname for Timmy Sherlock. "I'm so glad you're here!" He said he was happy too, knowing that he wasn't alone on the island.

Suddenly, a puff of sand appeared, and the Wise Old Hermit Crab emerged in its place.

"Congratulations, all four of you are united!" the Wise Old Hermit Crab exclaimed as he appeared out of nowhere, startling the group. However, they quickly regained their composure and listened intently to what he had to say.

"Wait a minute, Timmy's one of the chosen ones too?" Colossus asked in surprise.

"Indeed, he is," the Wise Old Hermit Crab confirmed with a wise nod of his head.

"Now, it is getting dark, and we should make our way to the camp," he said, motioning for the group to follow him as he scuttled away.

Camp Castaway

They arrived at the camp the old crab had mentioned, and it was breathtakingly beautiful and serene. A waterfall cascaded down the side of a bridge nestled amongst the trees, leading up to a treehouse. Nearby was a crystal cavern, a river flowing into the ocean, and a swampy marsh.

"Wow, this place is incredible!" Mabel exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.

Colossus walked over to one of the wooden homes, feeling a sense of nostalgia wash over her. The homes resembled the ones that belonged to her childhood cartoon heroes, and it was a sweet feeling.

"Looks like someone lived here before us," Dipper observed.

"Yeah, the Nicktoon heroes used to stay here. They were among the many heroes in the past who saved this island," Colossus explained, running her hand over the wooden walls.

Dipper's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, you mean that video game you told me about? I thought it was just made up!"

"I thought so too, but we're on the very island they saved!" Colossus declared, gesturing to the entire scenery around her. She couldn't believe that she was finally here, living out her childhood dream.

Timmy looked at her with childlike wonder. "Do you think we'll ever find the Nicktoons?"

"I guarantee it, dear," the old hermit crab said, joining in on the conversation. "They saved our island twice and were among the greatest heroes of all time."

Colossus turned to the wise old hermit crab. "Old man hermit crab, do you have any idea where we can find them?"

"I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling that if you search hard enough, you'll find them," he replied with a wise smile.

"Now, settle in and make yourselves comfortable. This is going to be your new home for a while," the old crab said before making his way to the beach and leaving the new heroes to explore their surroundings.

Dipper contemplated asking the Hermit Crab about his age, but decided against it, knowing it could be a sensitive topic. "I mean, was he even young ninety years ago?" he mused.

"If that were the case, perhaps a different shaman had to take care of the first heroes," Colossus speculated. "Or maybe aging works differently in this universe, and everyone on this island is over a thousand years old, including the children."

As the sun began to set, Colossus realized they needed to start a fire. "Let's build a fire before it gets dark!" she commanded, clapping her hands together.

Timmy eagerly volunteered to gather wood, darting off on all fours into the forest with fox-like agility. Mabel voiced her concern for Grunkle Stan's worry, but Dipper assured her that he was not the type to fret.

"Hey, you two, keep an eye on the camp; I'm gonna go scavenge for food!" Colossus instructed her friends, transforming into a black wolf. Her eyes glinted like blue snake eyes, and her pendant had transformed into a collar.

Approaching the twins, the wolf spoke in a deep, monstrous voice, "Do whatever means necessary to keep any invaders out of the camp!" With that, she bounded into the woods, leaving Dipper and Mabel to watch the camp.

"I'm surprised we're not more freaked out by the fact that our friend is a half-demon," Dipper commented.

"And from the future, and a hybrid," Mabel added with a grin.

Later

A fire was crackling and the aroma of cooking meat filled the air. Colossus had caught a big, fat, white seagull and was rotating it over the flames. The group eagerly awaited their meal as the bird cooked to perfection.

"You should have kept your food to yourself," Cole said, mocking the dead bird. She tore off a piece and savored the white meat. "Yum, this is delicious! You really outdid yourself, Colossus."

Timmy licked his lips and pulled off a wing to savor the savory meat. "Yeah, this is too big to finish!"

Mabel took a bite and agreed, "This is amazing! We need the energy for tomorrow, so eat up!" Colossus added.

Dipper asked nervously, "Why are you in charge now?"

"Steven made me Second in Command," Colossus explained. "Whenever he's not around, I have to take charge and take care of all of you. And I will not go against him."

Dipper argued, "But I should be the leader! I'm not from Cartoons Unite, and neither is Timmy!"

Colossus retorted, "You don't know the first thing about being in charge of a group of people and taking care of their needs. I don't want to be the leader, but I don't want to go against Steven."

Mabel and Timmy tried to diffuse the situation, urging Dipper to let it go. Eventually, Dipper relented, and Colossus decided to sleep in the Fenton house. As night fell, the crystals around the camp started to light up, creating a beautiful scene.

"We need rest," Colossus yawned. "We'll have to find the others tomorrow when we have the energy."

"I hope they'll be all right until then," Mabel said.

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Colossus reassured them.

"Well, good night everyone!" Colossus spread her wings and flew to her temporary home through the open window.

"I think I'm going to bed too," Mabel said, standing up and walking over to the pineapple-shaped home.

"I'll take that dome-shaped structure over there," Dipper said, pointing at a dome with an antenna.

"I want the movie theater," Timmy said, standing up.

"Alright, I'm heading to bed, Kid; don't stay up too late!" Dipper said, then went to the hovel on the hill.

"I won't!" Timmy replied, then went to the tiny theater-shaped hovel.

Everyone went to sleep that night. It was hard to sleep in a strange place at first, but they soon adjusted and fell asleep, eagerly awaiting tomorrow's adventure.

Later in the dark morning

Colossus sat by the beach, gazing at the early morning sky and the vast ocean. Everyone else was asleep in their hovels. She had a focused look on her face, lost in thought.

Dipper emerged from his hovel, looking like he couldn't sleep. He let out a big yawn and noticed his friend sitting on the sand. Wondering why she was up so early, he walked over to her.

"What are you doing up so early?" he asked, rhetorically.

Colossus didn't look up at him, but he sat down next to her anyway. "Couldn't sleep the whole night?" he asked.

"No, a lot has been on my mind," she replied, rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"What's been bothering you?" he inquired.

"I've been thinking about the Mawgu, the Nicktoons, the lost chosen ones on this Island, the fact that you guys are my responsibility, and the Campania," Colossus said.

"There's something darker going on here than what we've been told. It's not all rainbows, fairies, and ghost powers," she added.

"Yeah, that's real life," Dipper agreed.

"I'm sorry I called you a Dipwad," Colossus apologized.

"It's okay. I'm sorry I called you a brute," he replied.

They smiled at each other and continued looking out at the ocean, reassured that everything was going to be okay.
