It all started on a day early in the morning towards the end of August, it was the first day of school and all the students were bustling through the city of Ohagasands excited about the journey this new school year would bring. At a prestigious private high school in the city, five teenagers were probably the most excited about it than anyone else. It was their first day of junior year and they swore by anyone this would be the greatest year ever they were going to do any and everything together. 16 year old bubbly daddy's girls blonde hair blue eyed bombshell Mina heiress to a wine fortune Mina was no other way to put it gorgeous standing at about 5'4" she had hair down to her waist that she kept stylish along with her clothes, the very beautiful but very studious Ami with her light blue hair she dyed last year daughter of a very brilliant and rich scientist and owner of a electronics company, the gorgeous Rei who was better than you at everything because she said so the fiery girl with black hair and the attitude to match the daughter of many museums and halls in the city, Lita the tall sassy and beautiful brunette who was a very much the girly girl of the group is the daughter of the family who owned many upscale restaurants and Darien the heir to the shields hotels richest family in the world next to the royal family and their court.

Now Darien is not just your typical junior. No cause see Darien runs the school he has everything going on for himself a nice car awesome friends, the best athlete this school has ever seen, and plus everyone must admit he was smoking hot standing at 6'0" jet black hair midnight blue eyes and the body of a track GOD (whatever that meant.) anyone who was anyone wanted to be around him, be seen with him even sat in the air he breathed. They were a very close group they didn't let anyone bother anyone in their circle, they stuck together. they were unknowingly snobby in their own popular kids way and came off as better than everyone with the way they spoke and acted but they felt they had reputations to uphold they were the children of Ohagasands rich and famous, they lived in the upper hills of the city, they were used to the constant spotlight of the cameras the balls, the extravagant gifts the butlers maids and drivers.

Now out of the five friends Darien was the most arrogant and cocky he bedded many females and had many waiting for their turn, and he knew it too. But he would never put anyone above his sports and friends. Darien and Mina were the best friends, and it was many people putting their claims on the two teenagers' life that they would definitely be together in the future the two were gorgeous, two people made for each other, but they never looked at each other that way. But just as much as they had admirers, they also had many people who were envious of them or wish ill of them and had bitter feelings towards them, but they didn't let those things get to them.

So I think this school year is going to be the greatest school year ever proclaimed a very excited Mina as they walked through the door of Mary Kay's High School.

You say that every year huffed Rei as she rolled her eyes and turned her head. Well maybe because we always have the greatest years at school Mina said almost with a skip in her step. Well I for one agree with Mina Darien said I'm going to make sure to get twice as many girls this year into bed. Yuck lita responded spare me the details. Hey what can I say I'm the man Darien said, and not too much later purses and backpacks were flying towards Darien's head knocking him off his feet onto his butt.

Mother father I think that it would be highly recommended by the royal advisors that it should be time that I start to learn the people of Earth and know them since I will be queen someday a small blonde girl said to her parents. But her parents ignored her and continued to talk to their royal advisors and planners. Serena looked back and forth at her mother and father, she was really beginning to lose her temper. A thought suddenly crossed her mind her parents hated when she acted unruly and unlady like so she got up on to one of the marble statues in the great hall and screamed as loud as she could screaming HEEEEEYYYYYYYY SELENA AND SALEMMMMMM IMMMMM TALKING TO YOUUUUUUUUU!!!

Everyone in the room she stood there looking dumbfounded, they knew their princess for her antics and hijinks but this by far was too much. Princess Serena what is the meaning of this why are you behaving as such Queen Selene asked her daughter. The queen was obviously upset she had a crease in the middle of her forehead and and obvious scowl upon her face she was trying her hardest to hide her anger from but her daughter was acting very spoiled these days.

King Salem butted in, please may everyone excuse us the queen and I would like to have a word with our daughter. As the guards and advisors and everyone else were leaving the room they all eyed their princess they couldn't believe this was who was heir of earth one day.

Serena couldn't hold her excitement she was practicing what to say to her parents all day long in her chambers in the mirror but it all came out in a jumbled mess. Yesssss that is exactly what I am asking I want to feel life outside this walls with out the constant cover of my guards and being covered up from head to toe I want to know our people not just rule over them, this could be a huge learning experience for me if you'd only give me a chance, Serena finished with pleading eyes.

Dear daughter, you must understand it is by law that a royal princess must stay hidden from public for her own safety. It is only when a princess is queen or married which ever first that she shall reveal herself to her subjects.

But who made these unjustified laws anyways I mean if I was a prince the whole world would have known who I was by now and that is not fair Serena said pouting.

Now Serena the queen spoke up that is very UN lady like and not the behaviors of a princess at all. Stand up straight and show smile like you were taught.

Father, with one last attempt to persuade her parent's what good is it that you are the king of this beautiful planet if your own daughter cannot do as she pleases can't even really see the wonders of this world until I am married or queen.

Ok so amuse us Serena tell us what you would like to do to become more accustomed and adjusted to the people of Earth?

Awe man come on Ames, Darien said with his arms behind his head let me at least learn my teachers names first he said in a whiny tone then everyone started to laugh in unison.

But Darien don't tell me all you're going to do is focus all your talents on the basketball team and track tesm this year I mean you're so good at so much more lita said. Yes that's true but basketball is my first love then comes track and field and nobody comes between me and my ladies he said.

Well what about you Mina, Ami asked as Mina was gazing at nothing particular. Well you guys I've been thinking of joining the glee club since I love to sing. Everyone stopped wait you can sing rei finally spoke up. Yes actually Mina said I was very serious about it before but I think it's time to put my talent to good use. Well good for you Ami told her friend. The others were skeptical yea I only see you being good at one thing and that's shopping lita joked making the group giggle. Mina tried to not let it show but what her friend said hurt her feelings just a little.

It was already 5th period and they had two more classes to go but lucky for them this was their lunch schedule together. As they sat at their table many students walked past blushing and waving at them. It was always Ami who was inviting everyone to sit with them but Rei was not having it. A group of seniors walked up to their tables. Hey Darien how's the man doing, the two boys gave Darien a high five and a bro hug you going to basketball practice today. We were thinking of asking you to join the hockey team this year once basketball season was over our stats have been so low and since you joined the school every team you've joined stats go up so drastically. Darien knew this all too well three things he was very cocky about and that was his looks, his athletic abilities and getting the girls. Before the senior boys left the table they invited them to their party at one of their houses later on the evening and the group accepted.

So should we go shopping after school today Mina asked I needed a excuse to go buy a new dress. Well I would love to Ami responded but I want to join the chess club again this year. Darien smiled and hugged his blue haired genius friend you just gotta love her and rubbed her head like a big brother would do a little sister. To Darien they were all like his little sisters they were all younger and shorter than him granted by a few months but he felt protective over them especially Mina since he knew her longest.

As the teens went their separate ways for their next class more students approached Darien, man how do you do it how can you keep yourself so composed around them they're so beautiful almost like goddesses themselves. Darien chuckled it's nothing they're like my sisters they're sweethearts really. Besides I'm a very serious man about my sports and I have so many girls flocking to me to preoccupy my thoughts anyway and if and girl thinks she worthy of me can try to take me off the market but until then I'll continue to have my fun. The group of huge could only high five and congratulate one another one what exactly nobody knows. Princess Serena her chamberlady who was more so like a second mother Luna asked are you sure that this is exactly what you want to do as the princess what if something happens to you you could be defenseless kidnapped or worst. I think you should wait at least until we announce your betrothal to the duke Diamond for your 18th birthday first to at least introduce you to the people of earth.

I am quite sure Luna thank you so much for your concern but I mean I am 15 years old and I have never even had an actual conversation with other people my age. I want to know other people's likes dislike how it feels to be a normal teenaged girl. But that is the thing princess you are not a normal teenage girl you are princess of earth future ruler of our planet future wife of the Duke of the western counties Diamond. Well what if that's not what I want for me what if I want more I want to laugh with real friends and run with the wind in my hair meet people who like me for me and maybe fall in love she side quietly.

Luna responded but but this is what is expected of you. But Serena cut her off would you be happy if you fell in love with Artemis but someone took that away from you and told you that you can't love him because we found someone else for you to love. I am still a human am I not I was just born in the wrong body as the daughter of a king and queen.

Luna looked at her princess with understanding in her eyes. She had been taking care of Serena since her birth and loves her very much and wanted to see her happy she understood because she loves her husband Artemis and wouldn't give him up for the world itself. She knew many people who would love to be in the princesses shoes, but listening to her she understood that the life of a young royal wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Well if you are sure this is exactly what you want to do then I support you and I am behind you all the way.

Serena only smiled at Belinda.

There was a sudden knock on the door.

Your highness? The king, queen and the royal advisor have requested an audience with you in the royal thrown room one of the guards proclaimed.

Thank you very much please advise my parents that I shall be joining them shortly Serena told the guards.

He bowed and exited her chambers.

Serena walked down the halls with Luna following closely behind her of the castle and she had to admit to herself that she was actually kind of nervous. This would be the day that her parents and their advisor will decide on Serena's request to join the commoners in public high school. She just knew what they were going to say. It's too dangerous or you may get lost this will never work blah blah blah as she tried to prepare herself for her rejection of her request.

Serena nodded to the guards that was in charge of standing watch in front of the rooms to motion that she was ready to enter. As the guard opened the door Serena inhaled deeply and held her breath as her and Luna walked through the two enormous doors.

May I present to her Royal Highness Serena princess of Earth! And her royal chamber lady Luna the Guard said before closing the doors behind them.

Princess Serena. So, you know why we have requested your presence here today correct? The queen asked.

Yes my queen I am very well aware of my request to join the citizens of earth in a public high school setting and must I say I am very sorry that I even brought it to your attentions I am very well aware of the dangers I can put myself in as well as my family and I promise that when the time comes when I am queen that I will go about meeting my subjects that correct way and……..

Princess Serena. Princess Serena. SERENA PLEASE LISTEN. The advisor finally yelled out. If you would please excuse my sudden outburst but you just kept on going and going.

Serena finally stopped with all of her ranting and was a little embarrassed she didn't even notice that they were trying to get her attention, and all had little smirks on their faces.

Daughter, we have all decided to approve your request is what we were trying to tell you the queen said while smiling. The queen looked to be just as happy as she was and that made her look even more radiant. The queen was a woman in her late 30s she was what the people of earth described as one of the most beautiful generous graceful women in the world and they didn't think this only because she was the queen but because she actually was. The queen stood at 5'6' silver hair to her knees and very light blue eyes she was very slender the queen made sure she kept her appearance up by exercising and eating right.

But! the royal advisor interrupted. There are very specific guidelines that you must stick to before we allow you to leave the safety of the castle gates and security. First rule you must change your name to Sabrina while attending school. Second there will be no speaking of what happens behind the castle walls third you will be posing as a rich girl in the upper hills of the city living with her new to the city parents Luna and Artemis, fourth there will be no public schooling for you I'm sorry only the private school Mary Kay and the most important rule you may not expose yourself to anyone as the princess for your own safety. We advise that it would be best to stay away from touchy subjects while the people are having open discussions on the royal family ok.

Serena could not believe what she was hearing. She agreed to all of their terms and conditions without hesitating.

Oh and before we forget the generals must accompany you to school as regular junior boys watching over you jadeite malachite zoisite and nephrite please step forward.
