Hello everyone.
Time for the heroes to start training.
Now for the reviews.
beninator5: I'm not sure what use the The Slicer would have in Haiku.

TheBlazzore: Thank you. That means a lot to me. Yup, Matt has future vision. And no worries, he's not evil.
Skydrove24: Great idea. I can have them do that once their current training is complete.
Indoraptorman101: Yup.
Guest: I unfortunately wasn't able to get to the first two links, although I can try the third one. Regarding Lincoln's build, I would say he's slightly more muscular then his usual build, but nothing too noticeable. He will be ripped once he grows up.
Lets get to it.
When the white light dissipated, the heroes all saw that they were now in some sort of field. Matt was still right in front of them.
"As I said, you were all wise to come to me." Matt said. "As we speak, The Slicer is working on an anti-magic weapon. It will affect Lucy, Jordan, and Joe. It will have a similar effect that kryptonite has on Lincoln and Linka."
Everyone was shocked.
"Man, he's really on top of things." Sam said.
"Indeed." Matt replied. "Lisa, I am aware that you are on the verge of creating a serum that will limit kryptonite effect on Lincoln and Linka. Do you think that you can also make a temporary solution for Jordan, Joe, and Lucy that will last until you create a permanent solution for all five of them?"
"I believe I can." Lisa assured.
"Good." Matt replied. "Now, you all have impressive powers. You have done a lot of good with them. However, there is room for improvement."
Matt walked up to Lori.
"Lori, your telekinesis is a formidable power." He said. "With it anything can be a weapon."
Matt then moved to Leni.
Leni, your scarf can restrain strong foes." He said.
Matt went to Luna.
"Luna, your sonic scream can deafen anyone." He told her.
Next was Sam.
"Sam, your sonic boom claps can do the same." Matt said.
Luan was next.
"Luan, your extendable limbs are great for keeping yourself out of harms way." Matt told her.
Lynn was next.
"Lynn, you are strong enough to break stone." He said.
He then addressed Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, and Joe.
"Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, and Joe, you four are the most powerful of the team by a long shot." Matt told them.
Lucy was next.
"Lucy, your dark powers can do a lot." Matt said.
Next was Lola.
"Lola, your crystal weapon can combat anyone." Matt told her.
Lana was next.
"Lana, with your ability to communicate with animals, you can overwhelm any adversary." He said.
Next was Lisa.
Lisa, your intelligence can benefit the team greatly." Matt said.
Lily was last.
"Lily, your size manipulation can counter monsters." Matt said.
He then walked back to stand in front of all of them.
"Your powers are impressive for sure." Matt told them. "But a few things need work. Lori, you must always remained focused on your enemy. Leni, as strong as your scarf is, it can also be used against you. You must not let your enemies yank you toward them."
Matt then pointed his staff at Luna and fired a white light at her chest. He then did the same with Sam.
"What happened?" Sam asked.
"I have given you Luna's powers as well." Matt answered. "And Luna, I gave given you Sam's as well. Now you both have the exact same powers."
"Rockin!" Luna said.
"Anyways, in your last encounter with The Slicer he managed to evade your attacks and land a blow on you both." Matt told them. "You must always be focused, and be ready to dodge as needed. Luan, you must not let your enemies outsmart your arms. In your last encounter that caused your arms to get tangled. Lynn, as strong as you are, you must form a plan of attack. Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, and Joe, Once Lisa creates that serum that will limit The Slicer's weapons effect, it will take pure skill to match him. Lucy, like the others, you must be ready. Lola, remember your crystal can turn into any weapon. Always choose the best one for the fight. Lana, when there are no animals in the vicinity, you must use skill as well. Lisa, you can create some inventions that can help this team. And Lily, you must sometimes adjust your size at a moments notice."
The heroes all took in his words.
"Now, let us start your training." Matt said. "Lori, Leni. I want you to spar with each other."
"What does that mean?" Leni asked.
"It means to practice fighting." Matt answered.
"Oh, ok." Leni responded.
"During this round, Lori." Matt said. "I want you to counter her with your powers."
"Got it." Lori replied.
"Start!" Matt ordered.
Leni launched her scarf at Lori to try to wrap around her. But Lori managed to use her telekinesis and stop the scarf.
"Good." Matt said.
They both turned to him and Leni retrieved her scarf.
"Again, except this time, Lori." Matt addressed. "Let her wrap her scarf around your arm. When she does try to yank her towards you. Leni, when you wrap your scarf around her, do not let her yank you towards her."
They both nodded at him.
"Begin!" Matt ordered
Leni quickly wrapped her scarf around Lori's wrist. But Lori easily yanked her towards her.
"Try again." Matt said. "Remember Leni, do not let her yank you towards her."
"Sorry." Leni said.
"It's ok." Matt assured. "Now, begin!"
Leni wrapped her scarf around Lori's wrist again. Lori tried to yank but this time, Leni was ready and stood her ground. Leni then countered by yanking Lori towards her.
"Well done you two." Matt complimented.
"Thank you." Lori said.
"Of course." Matt answered. "Since there is an odd number of you, this time Luna and Sam will be alongside each other. You two will be sparing with Luan."
"You got it." Sam replied.
"Luna, Sam, you two use your sonic screams at her." Matt requested. "Luan, evade their attacks and then strike them. Luna, Sam, do not let her land a blow on you."
"This sounds like a stretch." Luan laughed. "Get it?"
"Yes." Matt answered.
"But seriously, I got it." Luan said.
"So do we." Luna said.
"Good." Matt responded. "Start!"
Luna and Sam closed their eyes and launched their sonic screams at Luan. Luan evaded by stretching her legs to make her high enough that the sound waves wouldn't get her. She then quickly stretched both her arms toward the other two. Luan landed a punch on both of them, Luna with her right fist, and Sam with her left.
"Well done dodging the attack Luan." Matt complimented. "Luna, Sam, you are both keeping your eyes closed when you use your powers. You must keep them open and be ready to counterattack."
"Got it." Sam said.
"Begin!" Matt requested.
The three heroes repeated what they did the previous round. Except this time, Luna and Sam kept their eyes open. When Luan tried extending her arms to land a blow on them, they both dodged both fists, causing both of Luan's fists to clash with each other.
"Well done you three." Matt complimented.
"Thank you sir." Sam said.
"Lynn, Lucy, you are both up." Matt said.
Lynn and Lucy stepped forward.
"Lynn, use your strength and agility to your advantage." Matt told her. "But remember to come up with a plan of attack, as running in swinging does not always have the best results. Lucy, be unpredictable. Do not let your opponent guess your next move."
"Let's do this." Lynn said.
"Start!" Matt requested.
Lucy started by rising into the air and launching a dark orb at Lynn. Lynn leapt into the air and dodged the attack. Lynn saw that Lucy was vulnerable from behind, and she raced behind her, leapt up, and punched her to the ground, of course not hard enough to do any serious damage.
"Well done, Lynn." Matt said. "Remember Lucy, be unpredictable."
"Got it." Lucy groaned.
"Are you alright?" Matt asked her.
"I'll live." Lucy answered.
"Then, begin!" Matt said.
Lucy then teleported away. Lynn was confused at this. Before she realized it, Lucy appeared above her and launched an orb at her. Lynn was caught off guard and the orb made contact with her, bringing her to her knees. Of course like Lynn the previous round, Lucy didn't use enough power to do any real damage on Lynn.
"Well done, you two." Matt said. "Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, Joe, you four are up. Lincoln will fight alongside Jordan, and Linka will fight alongside Joe. Lincoln, you will fight against Joe, and Jordan will fight against Linka."
The four of them stepped forward.
Their training will continue next chapter.
