World Traveler vs Simulation

A/N: This is inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel's duel: Where the World Legacy Leads final battle. World Traveler uses The Power to Resist Deities deck while Simulation uses Fighting for the Throne deck. Both decks are modified to make writing easier. When that came out in Master Duel, I decided to use this opportunity to reveal how exactly World Traveler got his deck and Accesscode Talker in detail. After I published Chapter 16, I realized that World Traveler is not supposed to have Accesscode Talker yet. See notes below

Turn 1: World Traveler (4000 LP, 5 cards)

World Traveler normal summons Crusadia Maximus and uses it to Link Summon Link 1 Crusadia Magius. He then Special Summons Crusadia Draco in defence positions and activates it's effect, added back Maximus back to hand. Magius's effect activates when a monster is summoned to it's link arrow, adding Crusadia Arboria to hand. He uses Magius and Draco to Link Summon Link 2 Crusadia Regulex. He special summons Arboria in Regulex's link arrow and activates Regulex's effect, adding Crusadia Testament to hand. He uses Link 2 Regulex and Arboria to Link Summon Link 3 Crusadia Equimax. World Traveler special summons Maximus and Crusadia Reclusia in defence position to Equimax's link arrow. Equimax gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all monsters it points to (Equimax ATK: 2000 - 3600 - 4000)

World Traveler sets Testament, Crusadia Krawler and ends his turn (4000 LP, 1 card)

Turn 2: Simulation (4000 LP, 5 cards)

Simulation adds Glial to hand and sends the rest to GY. Simulation activates Harp Horror's effect by banishing itself from GY, summoning Orcust Cymbal Skeleton from deck.

Simulation sets Glial and ends turn. During the End Phase, World Traveler activates set Crusadia Krawler to summon itself to Equimax's link arrow (Equimax ATK: 3600 - 3900) . Krawler's effect activates, adding World Legacy Succession to hand.(3000 LP, 3 cards)

Turn 3: World Traveler (4000 LP, 2 cards - Succession)

World Traveler draws. At this point, Simulation activates World Shield's effect, by paying 1000 LP (Simulation: 4000 - 3000), it summons itself from field.

World Traveler attacks Glial with Equimax. Glial's effect activates it's flip effect but World Traveler tributes Krawler (Equimax ATK: 3900 - 3600) to negate Glial. Also, World Traveler activates the set Testament when it destroys Glial, drawing cards equal to Equimax's Link Rating. World Traveler draws 3 cards.

In the original version, nothing changed except Turn 7 and 8. This change is due to the fact that Akechi wasn't supposed to have Accesscode Talker yet. So I replaced it with another copy of Galatea. Here is how it went:

Turn 7: World Traveler (2500 LP, 5 cards- Succession)

World Traveler draws and summons Crusadia Arboria. He uses Arboria to Link Summon Magius. World Traveler activates Succesion to summon Equimax from GY to Magius's link arrow. Magius's effect activates, adding Crusadia Draco from deck to hand. World Traveler uses Magius and Link 3 Equimax to Link Summon Link 4 Accesscode Talker. Accesscode Talker's effect activates when link summoned, targeting the Link 3 Equimax and gaining 1000 ATK per Equimax's link arrows (Accesscode Talker ATK: 2300 - 5300). World Traveler activates Accesscode Talker's effect, banishing the Light attribute Magius to destroy Collaspe. World Traveller switches Dingirisu into attack position.

Accesscode Talker attacks World Gears. World Gears is destroyed (Simulation: 3000 - 1200). Dingirisu attacks World Wand and destroys it. (2500 LP, 5 cards-Crusadia Draco, Succession)

Turn 8: Simulation (1200 LP, 1 card)

Simulation draws and normal summons Knightmare Corruptor Iblee and activates it's effect, summoning World Gears from GY but its effects are negated and ATK is set to 0. Then Simulation uses Link 3 World Gears and Iblee as Link Material to Link Summon Link 4 Knightmare Gryphon. Simulation activates Collaspe's effect from GY by banishing itself, summoning World Gears.

Simulation attacks Accesscode Talker with World Gears and activates World Legacy - "World Lance" effect by discarding itself, reducing Accesscode's ATK by 3000 (Accesscode ATK: 5300 - 2300). Accesscode is destroyed (World Traveler: 2500 - 1300).

For the sake of changes, let's say that the current version of Simulation did not have World Lance in hand. I could have rewritten the entire duel but I didn't want to do that because I liked how all of this was played out despite the summon of Accesscode Talker. Simulation summoning World Gears and then World Traveler summoning all of Auram's friends and using them to summon Avermax which then he summons them back to see Auram finishing the duel.
