The sun was shining beautifully as Canalave City was sitting beautifully. As people were walking around, Byron was walking around as he looked at the area. He noticed that there were pink and crescent moon decorations. He was excited as he was looking at his Bastiodon, who was walking behind him.
"Come on, Bastiodon! This is the best day ever! The Lunar Festival is happening!"
"Basti!" he shouted.
"Excuse me…"
Immediately, Byron stopped walking as he turned around, noticing a Pokémon Trainer. She had blonde hair down to her shoulders and she had a purple t-shirt with blue shorts. She also had a red backpack as she was looking at Byron. Byron grinned as he looked at her, "Yes?"
"Do you know anything about why the place looks like Cresselia?" she asked, "I'm very curious."
"Why… it is the Canalave Lunar Festival! We have a Lunar Festival once a year on a full moon! It is supposed to bring good luck to all. It happens to be today," he said, "Take some time and look at the wonderful scenery. At night, we can even make wishes!"
"That sounds awesome," she said, grinning as she walked away, "Thank you so much!"
Byron nodded as the trainer walked away. As she walked away, heading toward a Pokémon Center, Shockhound looked over head as he was scratching his chin. He grinned as he turned around and looked at the trainer and then at Byron, "Cresselia Lunar Festival and wishes? Oh… I got a plan for Ferro Fett!"

Chapter 21: When You Wish Upon a Star
A yellow aura surrounded the transporter as Shockhound appeared on Ferro Fett's ship. Quickly, he dashed over as he headed toward the bridge, noticing Ferro Fett was looking at him upon entry. Shockhound had a grin of happiness as he looked at the bounty hunter, "I have an idea."
"It better be good," said Ferro Fett, "The last plan was just… ugh. Maracturne is cleaning the engines for a week as punishment."
"Well, sir," he said, crossing his arms, "How would you like to sabotage the Cresselia Lunar Festival?"
Ferro Fett looked at him, confused, "Cresselia's just an average Pokémon. Why?"
Shockhound's eyes grew as he looked at the bounty hunter. He grinned as he turned to the screen, pressing it on Ferro Fett's console. Looking up Cresselia, Shockhound hopped over, "Cresselia is actually a legendary Pokémon!"
"Legendary?" asked Ferro Fett.
"Yes, legendary!" Shockhound stated, "Cresselia is supposed to resemble the crescent moon and the mysterious woman who made the Milky Way. Cresselia has the power to dispel nightmares and bring its feathers to happy dreams. Those happy dreams can come true when they use the Lunar Feather."
"What's your point?" asked Ferro Fett.
"What if we send one of our commanding hunters to sabotage it!" he shouted, "Apparently, we can put spell on the paper that the trainers use to write their wishes. The Lunar Feathers will activate them… all is fine…. But…" he said, grinning, "Within 24 hours, they die!"
Ferro Fett looked up as he turned to Shockhound, "So… this wishing paper when combined with the Lunar Feather could actually make a wish come true?"
"Yes… and if we taint it… the feather will grant their wish and then destroy them. It will be fool's play! Those rangers will also probably go. If they do get their wishes, its easy pickings," said Shockhound, happily.
Ferro Fett looked at him as he scratched his head. Sighing, he snapped his fingers. Shockhound turned around in response as he saw a humanoid Gengar with black and silver claws. He also had a Mismagius hat and a black and gold book in his hand.
"This is Genji… the Wish Maker. He was able to help Gircannon destroy plenty of worlds just using his magic. I figured hiring him would help you, wouldn't you say?"
"You're hired, Genji… now let's go destroy some dreams!" Shockhound shouted with excitement. Genji laughed as he looked at Ferro Fett. Ferro Fett nodded as he was looking at the screen. Ferro Fett sunk in his chair, looking at Earth, "He might have a full proof plan compared to what I dealt with the last couple of weeks."
Meanwhile…
Joe grinned as he grabbed his backpack in his apartment. As he went to walk out, he turned around as he noticed Grayson looking right in front of him. Joe shrugged as he went to close the door, "What's up Grayson?"
"Aren't we hanging today?" he asked.
"No… I thought you were going to be with Laguna. I'm going with Leona and the others to the Cresselia Lunar Festival," said Joe.
"You're seriously going to a festival where you are going to get your wish that might not come true?" Grayson asked, eyeing Joe. Joe turned around as he petted Grayson on the head, "I might be married tomorrow, you never know."
"Joe, it is a bunch of bologna… but go have fun. Thomas isn't going, so I am going to hang out at his mansion!" said Grayson, walking away. Joe grinned as he waved goodbye, walking toward the hallway. Joe pressed a button as he looked at him, "He never liked that stuff to begin with."
As the door opened, Joe walked in as he stepped into the elevator. As the elevator went down, the door opened, seeing Leona, Lisa, Atticus and Mack who were standing with him.
"Where's Kyland?" asked Joe.
"Kyland has a bad cold… so he's staying home," said Lisa, looking at Joe, "Are we ready?"
"Yeah, let's go," said Joe.
The five of them turned around as they got into Leona's jeep, which was finally fixed after all of those battles, heading toward Jubilife City where they needed to pick up a ferry to get to Canalave City.
Hours passed as the sun was setting in the west, it was about dusk as the moon was sitting above. The trainers were sitting on the dock of Canalave City, where they met up with Roark and Byron. The city was glistening with pink and gold with white lights that surrounded the area. The rangers were amazed at how bright it was in Canalave City. Roark grinned as he turned toward them with happiness, "Are you guys ready for this awesome event?"
Lisa turned around, noticing people wearing kimonos in bright pink and purple colors. She turned around as she noticed some were wearing golden regalia, "We never have festivals like this in Kanto that are based on a legendary! The closest thing is like the Princess Festival or the Cinnabar Tribal Festival, but nothing like this!"
Atticus grinned as he walked over toward the group, giving them each a blue piece of paper. He took out a black magic marker, "Time to write some wishes."
Each ranger was taking a black magic marker, writing on the pieces of paper of what they wanted. Once they were done with them, Atticus walked over as they found broken tree branches. Each ranger placed a paper on the branch of the tree, followed by Roark and Byron. Atticus grabbed the tree and placed it with the other trees of multicolored paper. Looking up at the moon, there was a trainer who was watching from the rooftops. She went to write her wish, when suddenly her phone buzzed. As the trainer turned to pick up her phone, she placed it on her ear.
"Zander, you picked the wrong time to call….," she said, looking at her paper, "I am at the Canalave Lunar Festival… can I call you tomorrow?"
No sooner she hung up the phone, it was a little late to get the wishes on the tree. She looked up as a pink aura surrounded it. As Sally went to go write a wish down, she noticed a pink essence around the paper. Looking up in response, a Cresselia was floating across. The trainers stood in surprise as Cresselia flew down toward the city, releasing golden feathers. As each trainer received a feather, they began to glow in a golden light as the papers began to glow in a blue aura. The rangers were surprised as they were looking at it. However, as Atticus turned around, he noticed Cresselia stopping, meeting the trainer that was behind. Cresselia bowed its head as it floated away, in a flash of pink light. The trainer grinned as she went to grab her backpack. As she was heading to a red and white hotel, Atticus followed. The doors opened as she turned, noticing Atticus walking toward her.
"Well, it's a pleasure to see you!" she said, grinning.
"Sally… it's been a while," said Atticus, noticing the red paper, "I guess you didn't get a chance to write your wish down.
"No," said Sally, looking at Atticus, "But, it was a pleasure to see Cresselia. You never see legendary Pokémon that close."
The blue ranger chuckled as he put his hand behind his head, "I guess you're right on that. The last time I saw you, you were just finishing up in Alola. So, what brings you to Sinnoh?"
"Vacationing, actually," Sally said, grinning as she turned to him, "I figured I would stop in Canalave City, seeing that there are very few festivals that deal with the moon. It was definitely a pleasant experience."
"I'm sure it was. And I am glad you stopped by. My friends and I are heading back to Oreburgh City. You are more than welcome to join us, if you want," Atticus said.
"Thanks… but I am going to turn in. It doesn't help when your ship was delayed… plus my Pokémon are tired," Sally responded with a grin, "I can meet up with you and your friends tomorrow."
"I'm sure that can be arranged," Atticus said, grinning, "Have a good night!"
Sally grinned as she turned around, closing the glass doors. Atticus shook his head as he turned around, noticing Leona with her arms crossed over her chest, "So, who's she?"
"Sally… She is an amazing Pokémon Trainer," said Atticus.
Joe scratched his chin as he looked at Atticus. Atticus looked at Joe as he went over to him. The black ranger scratched his head as he turned to him, "I have seen her somewhere before."
"You have?" asked Leona, "Where?"
"I think Hoenn… I don't remember," Joe said, looking at the group, "But, the face looks very familiar."
"Well… she and I crossed paths in Unova one time when she was training, and I was in the league. She is very knowledgeable about Pokémon."
"Hmmm…," said Mack, looking up as he turned to Joe, "Maybe I can get a crash course on examining how her Pokémon are!"
"You haven't even mastered the basics yet," Lisa said, laughing. Mack leaned on Lisa's shoulder, "There's a first time for everything in Pokémon watching."
"Well," said Atticus, stretching his hands up in the air, yawning at the same time, "I don't know about you all, but I am heading to Oreburgh City. I could use some z's."
"I think we all can," said Leona, grabbing her phone, "Selfie, though?"
As the five of the rangers leaned in, Leona quickly took the photo. As she turned around, she looked at the others as Leona grinned, leading the way, "Grayson and Thomas are going to be jelly that they missed out."
"I hope Kyland feels better too," said Lisa, looking at the rangers as they were heading back to their town.
The Next Day…
The sun was shining right into the Oreburgh City Apartments, right across from the Oreburgh Shopping Center. For Lisa, she opened her eyes as she walked out of bed. Sighing, she was walking toward the kitchen, ready to feed her Pokémon. As she stepped into the kitchen, she could hear Scyther's happy scream. Angrily rolling her eyes, Lisa marched around the island of the kitchen, grabbing what she needed.
"Hey, Scyther! You are not an… alarm… clock."
Her rant slowly came into a screeching halt as she noticed a whole entire tray of aromatherapy bottles. Specifically, bottles that were designed as colors for each city in Kanto with different scents, all tied up in a brown and white basket. Her wish was to have the Supreme Kanto Essence collection. As she looked at it, she went to touch the red one. Looking at the red bottle, there was a label with a volcano on it, reading "Cinnabar Charcoal". Opening it to smell, she couldn't believe it.
"My stars… this is legit. My wish came true!"
Within a half hour, except for Kyland and Thomas, the other rangers arrived in Lisa's apartment. Grayson shook his head as he looked at the bottles, "Hold up… your wish actually came true?"
"Yes! I wished for an aromatherapy set on the Wishing Tree and I got every single bottle… Pallet Pineapple, Viridian Mint, Pewter Salts, Cerulean Ocean, Saffron Lemon, Celadon Sweetpea… you name it! The whole collection is literally 100,000 pokedollars and they are only special editions that come out through lottery only," Lisa explained.
"It doesn't matter… the point is that I am sure you ordered it off of some website," said Grayson.
"Really?" Mack asked, stretching his hand out. Grayson noticed the sword. It was a black and grey saber with a golden hilt, "This was a saber I wanted to get from the essence of Hisui… it's a 250,000 pokedollar buy and this was on the wish."
"Interesting how our wishes came true overnight," said Lisa, scratching her eyes.
"I am surprised that your wishes came true," said Atticus.
Lisa nodded. As she placed her bottle back in the basket that it was found, she felt a little lightheaded. Lisa went forward as she landed on the ground, only for her Scyther to catch her fall. Mack turned around as he tripped and fell, losing his balance. Grayson grabbed him as he looked up, "Thanks, Grayson."
"Scyther, thank you…," she said.
"Weird," said Leona, looking at the two of them.
"I did get a good amount of sleep!" Lisa said, turning around as she looked at the rangers. Before the rangers could continue discussing, their Dino Coms went off. Grayson turned around as he reached for his Dino Com, "Yeah?"
"Hey guys… big trouble!" Roark said over the intercom, yawning, "Sorry, I feel a little dazed… but it seems that there are a lot of incidents in the Southwest Sinnoh Region. Jubilife, Sandgem, Twinleaf, Floaroma… they are all reporting of people being tired or drained. Could you go to Jubilife City?"
"Seeing that we haven't been there in a while, I don't see why not," said Grayson.
Jubilife City…
"I DID IT!" shouted one of them. He was sitting on the bench as he was looking at his wonderful smartwatch. Pressing a few buttons, he was looking at it. He was super excited as he went to talk to his friends, "I got the new Pokétch I always wanted!"
He was jumping up and down happily, turning to his friends as he was showing it off. Another trainer brushed her blonde hair as she had her pink sunglasses. She turned around as she jumped for joy.
"I got a Mega Ring! Now my Pokémon can Mega Evolve!"
"You got one of those? I got a Z-Ring!" shouted another trainer.
As each trainer was jumping up in excitement, little did they know that bluish waves were surrounding them. The trainers began to show off their exclusive items that they wished for. As the rangers were rushing over, Leona walked over, surprised as she was noticing the exclusive items.
"Hold up, how did you get one of those?" asked Leona, pointing to the Z-Ring.
"Simple. I wished for it and it came to be true!" shouted the trainer, "The Lunar Festival was amazing!"
Grayson darted his eyes, hearing what was coming out of the trainer's mouth. It was a good thing he didn't go to the festival. Something was out of hand as he walked toward him. As Grayson went to reach out, the trainers started to collapse on the ground. Each ranger went over as they went to snap them out of it. Joe turned around as he tried to shake one of the trainers out of the spell. He turned around as he felt someone touch his shoulder. Looking over, he noticed someone's hand. Noticing the blue fingernails, he looked up as he noticed a woman standing over him. His gaze looked up as her blonde hair shaggily landed on her shoulders. She had a pink dress as she looked at him.
"Hey, is everything good?" she asked. Joe stood there in surprise. Grayson looked over as Joe went to lean in closer, only to see him kiss. Grayson turned around as he walked toward them, trying to break it up. Joe turned around as he looked at her, "Can you go out on a date with me?"
Yawning, he turned around as he landed on his back, "Ugh… maybe we'll take a raincheck."
Grayson turned around as he looked at him, "Joe, you wished for a relationship?"
"Yes… thanks to the Lunar Festival," said Joe, looking at Grayson.
"I wonder," a voice said as she carefully walked toward them. Grayson turned around as Lisa was dragging her legs, "I wonder if our wishes came true and there's a side effect."
Grayson looked around as he noticed the blue paper that was on the ground. Opening it, he stood as he read the wish. He then turned around as he looked at another piece of paper, "These are all wishes…"
Lisa turned around as she looked at them, "Yeah, those are the wishes."
Joe turned around as he looked at them. Leona, Atticus and a tired Mack walked over as they headed over to the wishes. Mack nodded as he looked at the wish, "This is mine…"
"You wrote it down?" asked Joe.
"Yeah… I wished for a sword," said Mack, turning to the others. Leona nodded as she walked over toward them, seeing the wishes. As they walked over, they were able to find the path of wishes, heading toward the middle of the city. As they reached the end, Maracturne and Cremelia arrived as they were looking at them.
"Hello!" Cremelia shouted with excitement, "Some of you look very tired!"
"Thank you, Captain Obvious," said Grayson, grumbling, "So, what is your plan this time?"
Maracturne turned around as he looked at Grayson. Maracturne shrugged as he looked at the green ranger, "Well, I'm sure you went to the Lunar Festival…"
"No… I chose not to go," said Grayson, looking at Maracturne, "Making wishes is boring… they never work."
Maracturne groaned as he turned to Cremelia. Cremelia rolled her eyes as she threw her cake blaster to the floor, "Damn it! I wanted to take all of you down?"
"What do you mean all of us down?" asked Atticus.
Before Atticus could stand back, a shadow force floated across the six rangers. The shadow formed into a monster, revealing Genji. The rangers went to take a fighting stance as Genji arrived, laughing.
"Genji!" said Cremelia, "So nice to see you!"
"Genji…," said Grayson, turning to Cremelia. Genji walked forward as he laughed, turning to the rangers, "So, it seems my poisonous power has made it to you."
"What do you mean?" Joe asked, weakily.
"Simple. The wishes were not actual wishes. I tainted the paper and the Lunar Feathers from Cresselia granted your wishes. You are actually dying right now. In about 24 hours, some of you will never cease to exist!" said Genji.
"And that means… we take your crystals!" shouted Maracturne, crossing his arms, "We'll have to figure out how to kill the green guy, but the rest of you are a piece of cake."
Leona turned around as she looked at Atticus, "We need to defeat Genji before our wishes come true."
"Agreed," Atticus responded.
The six rangers stood in a line as they went to use their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the buttons, the Fossil Chargers were filled with energy. Doing their dance, the rangers went to place their Fossil Blasters in the Fossil Chargers. As the ranger spun the blasters, Joe, Lisa and Mack landed on the ground as flashes of red, blue and green surrounded them as they transformed into their suits. Grayson turned around as Joe laid on the ground, "Dude, really?"
"I can't fight like this," said Joe, grumbling.
"Me too!" Lisa shouted.
"You three need to can that fiend!" shouted Mack.
As the rangers turned around, Genji laughed as he looked at him. Genji turned around as he released three red lines, slashing the three rangers. As they landed on the ground, Genji turned around as he turned to the rangers, "See you on death's door!"
A flash of black and red aura surrounded him as he disappeared. Maracturne and Cremelia laughed as they disappeared in flashes of light. Leona and the others stepped forward as they turned to each other.
"We need to head back," said Grayson, grabbing Joe from the ground, "Quickly."
Dino Paradise…
Flashes of light surrounded the area as Grayson, Leona and Atticus held on to the others. As Joe, Lisa and Mack were tossed on the ground, slumped as they were exhausted. Leona looked up, seeing Drake, who stood there with surprise as he walked toward them. He shook his head as he looked at the three rangers.
"What was the cause of this?" he asked.
"Simple," said Leona, "We went to the Lunar Festival last night. We wrote our wishes down like everybody else. Fast forward to today, anyone who wished for anything last night gets what they want but has less than 24 hours to live. They are dying right now!"
"Apparently the wish paper that we all used was tainted by Genji," said Atticus.
Grayson turned around as he looked at Drake, "I didn't go… so I'm not affected by it."
Drake scratched his chin as he turned around to speak with them, "It seems that Ferro Fett has unleashed the biggest plot. He knew exactly what to do, especially if it involved destroying tons of people's wishes. Was Kyland or Thomas involved?"
"No. I have tried to contact Thomas. He's not responding," said Grayson, turning to the others, "And Kyland is so sick right now…"
"Was sick," a voice interrupted. Grayson turned around as he stood in shock, seeing Kyland. Kyland walked down the stairs, cleared up nose and everything. Grayson stood backwards as Kyland looked at him, stretching his hand, "What?"
"I don't believe you," said Grayson.
"He does sound better," said Atticus, raising an eyebrow.
"He's better," Lisa groaned, looking at the aqua ranger, "However, colds last ten days. How did you manage to recover so quickly?"
"Simple. Her," said Kyland, stepping away. As he stepped to his right, everyone stood in shock as Atticus's jaw dropped. Sally grinned as she stepped down the stairs. Walking toward the group, she turned around as she looked at the rangers, "Wow, Kyland… you weren't joking after all. I guess we're even."
"Even?" asked Leona.
Sally's eyes began to glow purple as she stretched out her hand. The rangers stood in surprise as a violet-magenta like morpher appeared. It had the letter M on it and it was shaped like an old fashioned flip-phone, "I am an ally to the Poké Rangers."
Joe looked up as he went to say something, but Atticus turned around, "How?"
"I am the Lunar Knight. The Gatekeeper that protects you all from the dark underworld. I think the last thing you need is Master Hades to run rampant again besides with what you are dealing with now," she said.
Leona nodded slowly, "I remember you now."
"Wait, how?" asked Grayson.
"In Hoenn, I would say about a few years ago, there was an underground empire known as Hades that tried to take the whole region down and I remember her and the other rangers trying to destroy… I think it was Metallico, who wanted to open the gate to release his dark forces," she said.
"Yes, and they tried to use me to unlock the gate… luckily the gate was never opened," said Sally, as she turned to them.
Drake scratched his head as he walked toward her, "You mean… you are a magician."
"Correct," she said. She turned around as she looked at the three rangers on the floor, "Let's see if I can heal you with my magic."
Pressing the Lunar Morpher, the top part of the phone turned into a magical wand. Pressing two buttons, she turned around as she stretched out her morpher, "Jinga Magiro!"
A flash of purple light emerged as the other rangers were hit. A dark and violet barrier surrounded the rangers as the spell disappeared. Turning around, she shook her head as she looked at her morpher, "Let's try this again, Jinga Magiro!"
The result ended the same way. Sally turned around as she looked at the others, "It seems Genji's power is impenetrable with simple Magiland spells. Let's try this one…"
Pressing three buttons, she raised her morpher across, "Mysto Jinga Magiro!"
A pinkish-purple beam struck each ranger, trying to heal what was afflicting them. A purple shockwave emerged as Sally was hit. Sally landed on the ground, dropping her Lunar Morpher on the floor. Kyland picked her up from the ground as Sally looked at it, "I sense that this monster is powerful with the spell. It must've been from the wish paper."
"The wish paper?" asked Atticus.
"You all wrote a wish, right?" asked Sally, "And it came from your heart, yes?"
Leona nodded as she turned around. Sally shook her head as she squatted down, "Rangers, it looks like that your hearts relate to your wishes. I can't sever them not knowing the consequences. There is one way to save them though… We need to defeat Genji."
"That's going to be difficult with just the four of us," said Grayson.
"Yeah, and what if our wishes come true during that?" asked Leona.
Sally looked up as she turned to the red ranger, "We can't control that variable. But, we do have at least one option to look at."
"And that's going to be hard to find Genji. Sinnoh is somewhat bigger than Hoenn," said Grayson.
"Not necessarily… because only four towns were affected. Thousands of people were there last night," said Atticus, "He could be in Jubilife, Oreburgh, Sandgem or Floaroma Town. They will probably get to those afflicted first before going up to who knows where."
"We will definitely need to divide and conquer," said Leona, turning to Drake, "We also need Thomas."
"I haven't had a chance to get a hold of Thomas," said Kyland, looking at them, "He has been very distant." Sally turned around as she stepped up to look for him, "Kyland, can you show me where he lives?"
Kyland nodded as he turned to Sally, "Of course."
Jubilife City…
Grayson, Leona and Atticus decided to split up across three areas. Atticus decided to head toward Jubilife City, where he was able to go on patrol. Driving on his Armor Cyclizar, he cut through the mountains of Route 203 as he approached the city line. Seeing the city up ahead with the mountainous road, he managed to look down as he slowed his Armor Cyclizar to a slow halt. Hopping off, a blue aura surrounded his vehicle as it disappeared. Walking toward the city, he turned around to see people walking normally, businesses starting to build back from months ago and then on the other side of the street, everyone that was affected by the wishes. Atticus decided it would be best to track down people who have been affected, thinking it would lead him to Genji.
As he continued to walk down the business district, lights filled the area as people were laying on the sidewalk with their new items that they wished for or new Pokémon. Atticus turned his head to stop as he looked up to see something not familiar in Sinnoh. He looked up to notice a Zapdos, looking down at him. Screeching, Zapdos looked down as he turned to the trainer, who was sleeping.
"I finally get to meet the legendary Pokémon," the trainer said, rubbing the fur of Zapdos. Atticus looked at the legendary, "We'll figure it out… and this is so random to see you in the Sinnoh Region."
Walking down the hill, he shook his head as he turned to see the Zapdos, "Funny. Zapdos didn't strike… it's like the trainer owned him. Legendaries are hard to even handle anyway, yet capture. But, it was part of the wish… HEY!"
His eyes turned toward a Glameow who was walking on the street. As the Glameow went to find a ball of yarn, there was a green truck that was driving toward it. Glameow turned around, freaking out. Atticus, without thinking, dashes in the middle of the road and grabs Glameow. Landing on the other side, the truck passed by as Atticus landed on the sidewalk with Glameow. Glameow looked at Atticus and smiled.
"You need to watch where you're going," the blue ranger said, chuckling. As he went to get on his feet to let the Glameow go, he turned around to notice a few trainers. They walked up to him, all girls. Atticus grinned as he looked at the trainers. One stepped forward, flipping her red hair with her blue eyes as she put her hand to his shoulder, "Aren't you Atticus Coho, Sinnoh League Champ?"
"Heh… heh… heh… a while ago… yeah," said Atticus.
"You are like the cutest Champion we've ever seen," she said, kissing him on the cheek. Atticus's eyes grew large as he looked up to the sky, "YES!"
He then turned around as his brain began to fog. As he was hugged by trainers, Atticus knew what happened. He wished for meeting girls like Joe meets them. Atticus shook his head as he reached for his Dino Com. As he tried to walk away, the girls chased after him. Atticus pressed a button as he landed on the ground.
"Leona… Grayson… it's up to you now," said Atticus, yawning.
"What do you mean it's up to us?" Leona asked.
"My wish came true… you need to find Genji before the wish comes after you Leona," Atticus said before cutting off communications.
As he landed on the ground, laughing, the blue paper magically popped out of his pocket as it was heading straight toward the direction. As that was happening, a green glow surrounded it. With Atticus not noticing, Grayson was heading back to Jubilife City after noticing nothing in Floaroma Town, grabbing the paper. He held on to it, trying not to let go. As the magic became more powerful, Grayson cringed as he was dragged across the trees, flying toward the area.
"This is it," thought Grayson to himself, "I will have this paper take me to the location."
Needing to do something, Grayson reached for the paper with his mouth, opening wide. Biting on the paper, he reached for his Dino Com and pressed a few buttons, sending distress signals as he flew through the wooded areas of Sinnoh.
Meanwhile…
Thomas was throwing a few punches downstairs in the gym. As he threw each punch, the punches were hitting a black and blue punching bag. Wearing a black sleeveless shirt and white shorts, he continued his powerful punches as he finished up. Taking a huge breath, he turned around as he went to grab a bottle of water. Grabbing a towel, he placed it around his neck as he went to sip a bottle of water. As he took a breath, he wiped the sweat off of his towel and turned to the screen, "That is all for today."
Turning off the main lights in the basement, he headed up the stairs, walking to the main floor of the mansion. Upon entrance, he froze as he noticed Kyland and Sally at the front doorstep. Thomas's face was priceless as he headed toward the door, opening it.
"Hey! I was doing a three-hour punching session! How are you?" asked Thomas.
"Look, Thomas… Things are great, but we've been trying to call you all day…," he said, pointing to the Dino Com on his wrist. Thomas turned around as he scrolled through. His eyes widened as he noticed the messages, "What happened?"
"Well… 5 of us received wishes from that Lunar Festival and they sabotaged it… they meaning Ferro Fett's crew," said Kyland.
Thomas turned to Kyland as he looked down, "Well, how bad are we talking?"
Sally stepped forward as she looked at him, "We don't do something to save them, your friends are dead."
Thomas craned his neck, looking at Sally, "And who might you be?"
Kyland looked at Thomas as he went to say something but Sally stepped forward as she stretched out her Lunar Morpher, pointing at it to him. As it reached his neck, Thomas's eyes began to glow in a blue aura as he froze the morpher. Sally grinned as she turned to him, "I see you do have Aura Power in your bones… you're lucky to stop me before I used my magic on you."
"You don't want to mess with her, Thomas. Just stop while you can," said Kyland.
Thomas was quiet as he calmed down, releasing Sally. Sally turned around as she looked at Kyland, "He has an attitude problem. First off, Kyland's my cousin. Second of all, I am the Lunar Knight… I am sure you have heard of the Poké Rangers Mystic Force?"
"I've heard word about them… but didn't know you were involved," said Thomas, crossing his arms, starting at her, "But, I never heard of their stories."
"Thomas, I'm not just your typical ranger or knight. I am the Gatekeeper that pretty much saves you all from Master Hades, who is pretty much dead at this point. So, if you want to end me, go ahead, but you will have another enemy besides Ferro Fett on your heads."
Thomas said nothing as Sally walked toward him, "I need your help. If we can combine our magic and aura, we can stop Genji."
"Genji?" asked Thomas.
"He's the monster that sabotaged the wishes. Lisa, Mack, Atticus, Leona and Joe all wrote wishes last night and they were touched by it while you were hanging with Grayson," said Kyland, "I need your help… or at least Grayson does…"
Thomas turned around as he looked at the pedestal, "Well, for Ferro Fett to go so low in destroying wishes, I can't sit back and watch this. Where do we begin?"
Sally turned around as she took out her Lunar Morpher. Pressing a few buttons, she turned around as a purple and white aura surrounded it, releasing a purple-lavender crystal.
"What is that?" asked Kyland, looking at the crystal, noticing its diamond shape, "It's almost like a Z-Crystal."
"It is… but it is not… I call it the Magirium Z. I have not told the other rangers back in Hoenn about this because it is only a trial and there's no imminent threat. But, the Magirium Z is able to be used to break through a spell of any kind. The problem is it needs enough energy to channel it. I've tested it in Magiland millions of times, went to the Aether Foundation to figure it out… even spoke with one of the guardian deities about it," said Sally.
"Wait… you met Tapu Koko?" asked Thomas, looking at Sally.
"Well, yeah. Tapu Koko was the one I spoke with. The power of this Z-Crystal can't be used by how original Z-Crystals were made. So… I created a spell to use it with but I need aura energy. When I found out from Kyland that there was someone on this team that was able to create it, I figured I had to go meet this person. That was the main reason why I'm here. I didn't expect to be roped into another battle… nor expect Sinnoh to be under attack," said Sally.
Thomas opened his hand as he received the Magirium Z. He looked up as Sally dropped the crystal in his hands. Thomas opened his eyes as he clenched his fist. A blue aura surrounded it as his hands opened. A blue aura surrounded it as the crystal began to float, revealing a purple-pinkish energy glow.
"Whoa," said Kyland, "That is… epic. Wait a minute!"
Sally turned around, "What?"
"What is Lunala's signature move?" asked Kyland.
"The Moongeist Beam? Why?" asked Sally.
"Before you decide to use it… let's channel it into a Fossil Charger," said Kyland, looking at it.
"I would agree," said Thomas, floating up in the air. Sally nodded slowly as she picked it up. Thomas and Kyland grabbed their Fossil Blasters, shooting the floor. A purple, aqua and grey aura surrounded them as they disappeared.
Meanwhile…
Back in Jubilife City on the rooftops, Creamelia was sitting down with a glass of juice as Maracturne was using his binoculars. He was so happy as he saw the paper wishes coming toward them. The papers were being collected in a pile as the Mooks were collecting them one by one. Genji was sitting there, happily as he placed three different torches on either side. Once he had all of them, he was going to unleash his move.
"This is easy!" said Creamelia, "The wishes are collecting as we speak. It's only a matter of time until Genji does it."
"Out of all the plans that we decided, this was a great plan!" Maracturne shouted, "No singing, no craziness, no Shockhound to get in the way…"
"Yeah," said Creamelia, as she placed her feet on the table that was placed. She then thought about Maracturne said as she turned to him, "Wait, what about my singing?"
Maracturne grinned as Genji floated around, releasing three purple flames on each torch. As he sat down, he crossed his arms as a red aura surrounded him. His eyes began to glow a yellow aura as he stretched his hands. As he took a breath, he looked up to see another paper fly… with a human being behind it. Looking up, Genji looked up as Grayson arrived with his Fossil Saber. A green aura surrounded the saber as he slashed one of the torches. The torch turned to ash as Grayson flipped forward, slashing each of them. Grayson turned around as he looked at them, "Getting rid of the evidence I see."
"How did you find us?" asked Creamelia.
"Simple. After I came back from Floaroma, I noticed my ranger friend was exhausted after meeting girls. Saw the paper come out of his pocket and I managed to grab the paper with my teeth and it dragged me here," said Grayson, raising his saber, "Your reign ends today Genji."
Genji laughed as a black aura surrounded him. Grayson turned around as he went to search for him. As Grayson looked up, a purple swirl began to form above him. Black and red beams struck down as Grayson was hit. Grayson flipped as he landed on the ground. Carefully, getting up, Genji floated down, sinking into the roof. A black shadow like figure floated through the roof. Grabbing Grayson, Grayson yelled as he was thrown toward a group of canisters. Grayson landed on the ground as Genji floated up.
"Give it up…," he said, "You can't defeat the Wish Maker… Even if you defeat my torches, the timer still stands."
Grayson looked up as he picked up his saber, "Then fine… let's go."
Grayson swung his saber, only for Genji to float across, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. Genji jumped down as he threw Grayson to the ground. As Grayson was heading straight for the concrete, a purple aura surrounded him as Grayson floated. Grayson turned around as he looked over, seeing Sally, Kyland and Thomas. Floating down, Sally snapped her fingers as Grayson landed on the ground.
"I'm glad to see you guys," said Grayson.
"Well, I'm glad that you're here," said Thomas, turning around, "Destroying wishes, eh?"
"Well," said Genji, "At least 5 of you will be dead soon."
"Sorry, but my wish never came true," a voice said. Genji turned around as he walked toward the trees. Grayson turned around as Leona arrived with her Fossil Blaster, "You left something out of the equation."
"What did you wish for?" asked Grayson.
"Well," said Leona, grinning, "I wished that eventually when I'm old and ready to pass, that I will reunite with my parents and tell them all of the wonderful things that I did to help them in the future, which unfortunately isn't a materialistic thing."
"Wait, you wished for dead people?" asked Genji.
Sally raised her finger, "I see, Leona wished for something from the heart, not something that you could buy, or meet because of human gratification."
"Precisely. I was just being my humble self," said Leona, turning to him, "So, you got 4 people to deal with."
"I don't believe this," said Genji.
Sally stood forward as she released her Lunar Morpher. Opening it, she pressed 126 on the phone and then a purple button. A purple aura surrounded her as she raised her morpher, "Magical Source, Guardian Form!"
A purple aura surrounded her as a night background appeared. A shiny moon appeared as a Magiland logo appeared. She jumped through the purple Magiland logo as her suit appeared. She had a purple suit with a black M on her chest with a golden belt. She also had a skirt attached to a golden belt with white leggings. She had purple boots with black and gold lines. Attached to her suit was a purple cape. She also had a silver and purple staff that had golden streams with an aqua lunar symbol on top. Spinning around, her helmet appeared. It was shaped like a Lunala as she twirled the staff.
"The supreme lunar element! Guardian of the Moon, Lunar Knight!"
"Lunar Knight?" asked Maracturne, screaming from the rooftops, "That's not part of the crystals!"
Cremelia looked over the rooftops as she stood in fear, "Genji, defeat them! I want their Energy Crystals… and maybe I would like some of what she had!"
Genji laughed as he stretched out his arms, "Shadow Strike!"
A black and red aura surrounded his hands as it headed toward Sally. Sally grinned as she laughed, taking out her Lunar Staff. Striking across, an indigo barrier surrounded it as the strike reflected, heading toward Genji. Genji screamed as explosions surrounded him. Sally jumped up as she flipped toward him, "Moonblast!"
A pink energy beam struck as Genji was hit in the face. Genji yelled as he was weakened by the attack. However, as Sally went to land, a few Mooks grabbed her, causing a whole invasion to break out.
"Let's go team!" shouted Leona, revealing her Fossil Blaster and Charger.
"Fossil Charger, Energize!"
The rangers did their dance as they spun around, placing the Fossil Chargers in their blasters.

Omastar, Energize!
Rampardos, Energize!
Spinning the blaster, the rangers stretched out their Fossil Blasters, "Unleash the Power!"
Red, green, aqua and grey energy surrounded them as they transformed into their suits. The rangers managed to use their Fossil Blasters and Sabers to start. Grayson and Thomas flipped forward as they were able to slash the Mooks on one side of the area. Each one was knocked down as the two flipped back. Thomas spun around as he released his fist at one of them. A blue aura surrounded it as the Mooks flew backwards, landing on the ground. Grayson, however, managed to dodge another attack as he struck again. Jumping up, he struck a whole row as the Mooks landed on the ground.
Kyland and Leona dashed forward with their Fossil Blasters. Leona turned around as she dragged it with her right shoulder, "Dino Armor, Engage! Tyrantrum Claw!"
As her Tyrantrum Claw appeared, she grabbed it as she stabbed the creature in the stomach. Sparks flew as the Mook fell limp. She turned around as she slashed a few more of the Mooks. Landing on the ground, she dropped the Tyrantrum Claw and flipped forward. Picking up the claw, she slashed the Mooks. A red aura surrounded her claw as the Tyrantrum Charger was placed in the Tyrantrum Claw.
"Iron Head!"
Dashing through, a silver aura surrounded her as the Mooks were hit by the attack. Red sparks surrounded her as the Mooks landed on the ground, exploding into pieces. She then turned around as Genji was floating toward Sally. Leona took out a magenta Fossil Charger and placed it in her blaster, "Hypnosis Charger, fire!"
Pulling the trigger, pink waves surrounded her blaster as Genji was hit. Genji turned around, noticing that Leona was trying to use her blaster to get Genji to hypnotize. Genji laughed as he released a black and purple energy ball. Leona stood in shock as it was released. Before Leona could get away, Sally appeared as a pink and blue barrier appeared, blocking it. Genji turned around as Sally struck. Kyland headed over as he took out his Fossil Blaster. Kyland took out a purplish-pink charger and placed it in the blaster, "Magirium Charger, Energize!"
Placing it in, a purple and magenta aura surrounded it as he gave it to Sally. Sally picked it up as she did a shoulder roll, releasing the attack, "Moongeist Breakage!"
A purple and pink laser beam struck out as black chains surrounded it, wrapping Genji. Genji squirmed as chains surrounded him. As he screamed for help, red and purple bolts surrounded him as Sally snapped her fingers. A pink and purple energy beam, filled with Lunala's energy struck Genji as he was hit. A black and purple aura surrounded him as an energy barrier began to explode. Genji yelled as he was stumbling back and forth. Sally turned around as she snapped her fingers again, "Checkmate!"
Explosions surrounded Genji as he fell on the ground, exploding into pieces. Leona turned around as she looked at Sally, "That was epic! You created a charger like that?"
"With Thomas's help," said Kyland.
Thomas grinned as he looked at them, "It could only be used once though. Luckily, I am glad we were able to extract the Z-Crystal. She can still make more though for sure now that it works."
Maracturne, who watched from overhead, turned around as he looked at Creamelia, "I am not going to sit here and watch this."
He reached for his green tablet and pressed the red M app. Instantly, a green beam fired from space directly onto Genji's corpse. Genji grew ten times bigger as his hands stretched out, "Time for Round 2!"
As he turned around, he noticed the blue papers on the roof began to glow in a pink and white light. Genji stood there in anger as they sparkled and disappeared. He turned around as four beams of energy appeared, teleporting the rest of the team. Lisa, Mack, Atticus and Joe shook their heads as they picked themselves up.
"You're here!" Leona said, "How?"
"Whatever you did teleported us here," said Joe, turning to Sally, "I knew it! Your Guardian Form!"
"Nice to meet you too," she said.
The roars of Genji could be heard as the rangers stood together. Mack looked up in anger as he looked at him, "You are going to PAY for what you did."
"You guys take five… we'll handle it," said Leona, looking at Mack and the others, "Kyland, Thomas. Shall we?"
"Yep!" said Kyland and Thomas.
"Tyrantrum…"
"Omastar…"
"Rampardos… I choose you!"
Throwing their Fossil Chargers in the air, red, aqua and grey energy surrounded them as Tyrantrum, Omastar and Rampardos arrived.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Aqua and grey energy surrounded Rampardos and Omastar as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. Omastar's shell began to soften as the shell and body lengthened into an arm, connecting to the right side of the Megazord. The shell then hardened as spikes emerged out of it. Rampardos folded its arms and legs. His body turned around as the tail was facing toward the back, but the head was the hand. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Puncher Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Genji laughed as he released black and purple energy beams. The Dino Puncher Megazord rolled across, dodging the attack. Aqua spikes struck out. Genji laughed as it split into two, doing a clean miss. Genji stretched out his hands as it clamped on to the Dino Puncher Megazord. His eyes began to glow in a red aura as red electric beams surrounded it, striking the Dino Puncher Megazord. Explosions surrounded the Megazord as Grayson, Leona, Kyland and Thomas were hit.
"Grayson, can you find a weak spot?" asked Leona.
"I don't think there is one," said Grayson, analyzing his helmet.
"Aura Power!" shouted Thomas.
Stretching out the Rampardos arm, a blue aura sphere stretched out, unleashing energy. Genji laughed as he tried to absorb the power. Snapping his fingers, the energy disappeared. The rangers stood there, surprised. Genji snapped his fingers again. This time, the beam appeared above, heading toward them. Explosions surrounded the team as they were hit by the attack. Looking up, Sally turned around, "This is bad… Genji's more powerful than he was normal."
"Can you distract them for me?" asked Mack, shaking his head.
"You're not actually going in on this?" asked Lisa.
"I'm making them pay regardless," said Mack, turning around, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
While that was happening, Genji laughed as he went to strike again. The rangers held on as Genji went to release another beam. As he did, golden beams struck him down. Genji yelled as he was electrocuted. The rangers looked up as Grayson stood in surprise, "Aerodactyl!"
Mack turned around as he looked at his cockpit. Behind him, Sally stood behind him.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked.
"His magic is too powerful for you to bear," said Sally, "But, with your zords there should be no problem!"
Stretching her staff, she raised it up in the air as a purple and pink aura surrounded Aerodactyl. A Lunala appeared as it took form of it. Genji looked at it as Lunala flapped its wings.
"Moongeist Beam!"
A pink and purple energy beam struck down, aiming at Genji. Genji yelled as he was weakened. Purple armor began to explode as Sally turned to the Dino Puncher Megazord, "Now, team! Go!"
"Dino Puncher Megazord, Aura Sphere!"
A mega-sized blue sphere was formed and launched, heading straight down toward Genji. Genji screamed as the sphere landed on top of him, causing an explosion. The Dino Puncher Megazord landed on the ground.
Later that evening…
The rangers were sitting together off the coast of Sandgem Town Looking up, Grayson shook his head as the rangers were praising him for his work on finding Genji. Grayson raised his hands as Joe placed his hand on the shoulder, "That was a bold move on your behalf."
"Yeah, but if it wasn't for Sally's magic we would all be done for," said Grayson, grinning. Sally nodded as she turned to Leona, who was sitting on a rock. Leona turned around as she was grinning at what was going on. As she could see the flames for a firepit being done on the beach, Sally walked over as Leona was looking up.
"So, from what I heard you were princess of dinosaurs?" asked Sally.
"Yeah… it's a bit different," said Leona, looking at her sapphire pendant, "To be honest, I wish my parents were here to see this."
"I'm sure your parents would be happy too," said Sally, looking at the pendant, "You know, I came across these that look identical to your pendant."
Leona turned around as she looked at Sally. Sally shrugged as she took out a brown bag, "I found multiple crystals…"
Immediately, Leona noticed a few in colors. Immediately, all of them began to glow. Leona looked down as she noticed the pendant was glowing. She turned around as Sally noticed it, "Yeah, I was collecting them while I was looking for Thomas about making the crystal. Apparently, there's a legend."
"What legend?" the red ranger asked.
Sally said to her, "Well, you need all ten energy crystals to prevent Ferro Fett from taking over time and space. But, these pendants actually could revive someone that Lunala knew long ago."
"But, I thought the Legendary Pokémon in Mystic Force were Magiland Pokémon," said Leona, looking at Sally, confused.
"Some are… But, I have a feeling if you can find all of these, the answers to your questions will come to light," Sally responded.
"I am so confused," said Leona, looking at the gatekeeper. Sally grinned, "Not surprising. But, from what I gathered with Lunala, Lunala believes that if you can find these pendants, eventually you will be able to unlock one of the true powers of Sinnoh."
"One of the true?" asked Leona.
Sally nodded in response, "You see, the Hoenn Region had a star legendary Pokémon that protected them from evil. The power lived on in the Hoenn Region for so long that when it came down to it, the rangers I'm friends with had to work with some of the OG Rangers in order to protect them because they had no protector for a while. I'm telling you this because Sinnoh is in great trouble."
Sally turned around as she looked at her, "As the first generation of Poké Rangers in Sinnoh, my advice is to find the guardians. Eventually, your region will be protected. There is a superior force stronger than Ferro Fett… and eventually we will all need to work together."
Leona said nothing as Sally was waiting for a response. Leona took a deep breath as she stepped down from the rocks. The two were heading back to the fire, already in progress. Leona turned around as she looked at Sally, "So… is there a way to sum up what happened in Hoenn before you leave?"
"Well… I am not leaving until tomorrow, but I can answer the questions that you seek," said Sally.
As the fire was burning, Atticus looked up to see the deep conversation Sally and Leona were having. Mack looked up as well, noticing as he headed over to Atticus, "You think something's up?"
"Kyland, what do you think?" asked Atticus, turning to Kyland. Kyland turned around as he looked at the conversation. Kyland took a deep breath, "Well, Sally's visit was unannounced. She comes to create a new Z-Crystal to test back in Hoenn and Magiland… there's something going on that we don't know about."
Thomas turned around as he looked at the team, "I sense it too. Especially with Genji's demise."
"I'm surprised that Genji was that powerful," Lisa added on, "It makes me wonder… what Ferro Fett has up his sleeve."
Joe looked up as he turned around, "If Sally is having a conversation with Leona, it looks like there's more to it. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's the last time we faced a powerful monster like Genji."
"Well," said Kyland, shaking his head, "The hard part is if we had all ten crystals, this would all be solved."
Grayson turned around as he looked at him, "It's because we're getting close that Ferro Fett will break the fourth wall. Who knows what his plan is. We just need to be ready."
The rangers looked over as Sally filled Leona in on everything… everything.

Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 22: The Deadly Melody
A/N: This was epic to write if I do say so myself. You are probably wondering about a lot of things, so I am going to give you brief notes. This took me three weeks to write with me being on vacation and boom, Fall Schedule for a Musician! So, yeah… also I had to do a few curveballs. Side note, I need to remember that mega chapters like these will take forever to write. (20 pages on Word)
First, Sally is the Gatekeeper from Poké Rangers Mystic Force and she is the Lunala Guardian. She is a trainer from Alola and she holds the gate to prevent Hades Underground from ever erupting on to Earth. You can read more about her in Chapters 16 through 18 of Poké Rangers Mystic Force. I also decided to create a new Mystic Force power. Will it be used in the future? Don't know, but when I wrote that story, it was during Gen 7.
Second, I have been doing a lot of things with pendants and as you can see Sally had a few pendants she found that look identical to Leona's and Turnchou's. You are probably wondering what they are… that's coming soon.
And I am super stoked for this next chapter. It is based off of the Kyoryuger Movie! And just in time for Halloween.
