Negating the Pirate Life

Chapter 4

"So let's see, this makes the fifth raid we've done on Paradise Farm. Gotta say it's fun as hell watching them run around like chickens with their heads cut off" Ace said with a chuckle as he sat on a decent sized cart full of food and water that was being pulled by Naruto who had lost their 'rock-paper-scissors' match to see who would be pulling.

"Well when I can turn you invisible while touching you with UnSeen active it makes everything easier" Naruto said, chuckling a bit as he remembered all their freaked out reactions he heard from them each time they stole away food.

This evolution was one little thing he had worked on with Pops a few months ago and, given how well he and Ace worked together, it wasn't difficult to move around avoiding others while holding onto Ace's shoulder with his eyes closed. It did make it a bit painful though as whenever Ace had to use his logia powers he did get burnt a bit - though really wasn't any issue overall.

"We have to be careful about how we distribute the food, I overheard some of them talking about keeping their eyes on the towns to catch any 'differences'" he told Ace, who drifted off into thought as he rubbed his chin.

"I feel so long as we keep things spread out they shouldn't be able to track anything down. Plus that tea house lady Otsuru that Hitetsu sent us to seems to know how to move things around well enough without others noticing" Ace reminded him, Naruto nodding along as so far things had been going well with her help.

"I'll bring it up to Hitetsu or Otsuru and see what they think" Naruto suggested with Ace nodding in agreement as they continued on. It didn't take too long for them to reach Okobore Town, Naruto whistling to Ace to get him to become their eyes as he activated UnSeen again to safely deliver the food to the drop off point Tsuru decided on which was a large but dilapidated house nearby her tea house.

"Naruto, we've got a problem. Open your eyes and speed up" Ace warned him, his tone telling Naruto he wasn't joking around and - as he opened his eyes - he was able to see just what the issue was.

Just from one look made it clear that Okobore Town had been attacked, several buildings damaged, some on fire, and people injured in the streets being bandaged up as best as possible with what little supplies the people had.

"Shit…Just what I was worried about" Naruto grumbled out as he continued to pull the cart, quickly dropping it off inside the house and covering it in a tarp before the two of them rushed off to Otsuru's tea house. As they arrived they were thankful that it didn't seem all too damaged.

"Otsuru! Are you in there? Are you and the others safe?" Naruto asked as they rushed in to see Otsuru tending to some of the injured.

"Oh it's just you two, you scared me for a second there" Otsuru said with a sigh of relief, clearly a bit spooked by them bursting into the tea house. "I'm glad you boys are safe, sorry I wasn't there when you guys dropped it off but…as you can see things are hectic right now…" she added, frowning as she looked over at all the injured townspeople that were inside her tea house.

"He can help with that while you tell us what happened" Ace told her, offering up Naruto - not that he minded - while nudging him towards the injured.

"A few hours ago, a bit after you two left, Okobore Town was raided by the Beast Pirates…They noticed some of the men and boys of the village were getting healthier and it was decided they were clear for slave labor" Tsuru choked out , doing her best to hold back tears and somewhat failing as Naruto worked on healing the injured with UnRuin.

"Shit…we overheard some of Kaido's men mentioning they plan to keep eyes out for differences in residents, I didn't expect it to happen on the same day…" Naruto told her, frowning as he had quickly finished up.

"Do you know where they took them?" Ace asked as Tsuru nodded and dabbed the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief.

"They took them to Onigashima to hold them until Kaido or one of his high ranked members return to divvy up where they should go…" Tsuru told them, missing the look Naruto and Ace shared as they looked at one another.

"You be careful divvying up the food and use some of the medical supplies we also have in there to tend to the wounded, we'll be back with those taken as soon as we can" Naruto told her, clearly shocking the woman as she looked at them completely floored but also clearly worried.

"No! H-Helping us with food is one thing but i-if you do that then the Beast Pirates and Orochi's men will hunt you down!" she said before Naruto put a hand on her shoulder to stop her.

"We're only here for a few more days as we are only really allowed to be here for two weeks and that's almost up. This will pretty much force us to leave right after but it's absolutely worth it to help you guys out" Naruto assured her, the look in his eyes telling her he was going to do it no matter what she said which only got a sigh and a soft smile from her.

"I know that look in your eyes, my husband has had that very same look several times…I just hope one day you'll return so I can repay your generosity for all of this" Tsuru said, getting a chuckle from Naruto as he stepped back and walked over beside Ace.

"I don't know about him but once I set off on my own I promise you I'll be back as I plan to be King of the Pirates and that means I have to kick the ass of every Yonko around to establish my place and by defeating Kaido I'll also be freeing Wano" Naruto told her as she saw an intense fire in his eyes before Ace patted him hard on the back.

"And this guy never goes back on a promise so just you wait, he'll return" Ace assured her while Naruto nodded with a smile. "For now you guys should focus on staying low, patch yourselves up, and divvying up the food without drawing attention" he suggested while Naruto nodded and started to crack his knuckles.

"Give us a few days and your villagers will be back. I promise" Naruto declared as he started to walk off, giving a slight wave to her as Ace started following him as they made their way towards Amigasa Village since if anyone knew where they could find a boat it'd most likely be Hitetsu.

-Two Days Later-

"Why won't you take me with you once you leave!?" Tama yelled as she rather cutely pouted and glared at him.

"Because you are what, six? I don't mind kids but if I'm going to have you on a crew I'd like to one - have you a little older and two - have it where my crew is strong enough to look out for you and since I don't have a crew at the moment I can't ensure that" Naruto reminded her for the umpteenth time as it turned out the girl he gave an apple to when they first arrived had grown very attached to him and was very insistent on going out to sea with him.

"But I have Komachiyo! He can help as well!" Tama declared as the seriously massive dog - which in reality was komainu, a lion dog - was Tama's pet who she had raised since it was a pup.

"I agree he can but it'd still just be the two of us looking out for you in dangerous waters" he told her again as he tried to get her to accept it…again. "Look, I'm not saying no, I'm just saying not right now. Eventually I will return to Wano and, by then, I should have a strong enough crew to easily keep you safe but until then just wait here and grow stronger with your kunoichi skills" he told her as he poked her cheek, referring to her devil fruit powers which allowed her to pull off her cheeks into millet dumplings that would tame animals when they ate them.

"But I really wanna go with you…." Tama pouted, her cheeks puffing out before she sighed. "Fine…but you better take me with you next time you come and visit!" she declared before leaping up to give him a hug which he happily returned.

"Stay safe, I'll try not to keep you waiting too long" he told her as they hugged, her nodding before she finally let go of him so he could join up with Ace who was waiting at the entrance to the village.

"You finally say your goodbyes?" Ace asked with a smile as he knew all too well about how insistent Tama was about heading out to sea with Naruto. He actually found it a bit cute but definitely agreed with Naruto about his reasons for saying no for now.

"Yeah, we best be off since I don't know how long it'll be before she tries again" Naruto told him, chuckling as they waved to the villagers and finally left Amigasa village and made their way to the shore.

"Bout time you two showed up, I'm not too fond of being outside of the village like this so I was about to head back and just figure you'd find the boat on your own" Hitetsu complained as he stood beside the somewhat small sized ship that he had found for Naruto to fix up with UnRuin.

"Sorry, we got held up a bit saying goodbye to Tama" Naruto said with a chuckle as Ace started to push the boat back into the sea for them. "I can't just sit by and abandon the people captured due to me helping them out so I apologize for the trouble I might cause from this" he added only for Hitetsu to wave him off.

"You are doing the people of Wano a service by rescuing them, though it is a shame you are leaving right afterwards" Hitetsu said as Naruto shrugged his shoulders.

"I'd have to leave either way as my two week window is just about up so why not go out with a bang so to speak?" Naruto said, chuckling as Ace gave him a look telling him he was good to go. "Look, after we free everyone we'll be sending them back on this boat and leaving on ours. You'll be able to handle hiding or destroying this boat, right?" he asked as Hitetsu nodded along.

"I can handle slicing that boat in half once they return as my sword is not just for show but enough talking, you boys best be off…and next time you are in Wano come and visit" Hitetsu told them, giving a small smile with the two of them nodding with a smile of their own before they hopped into the boat and set off.

Their sailing to Onigashima was calm since Naruto was able to turn Ace, the boat, and himself invisible with UnSeen which in turn rendered Kaido's defenses literally worthless. Though they made sure to destroy each one they passed and tied up all the lookouts - again with the help of UnSeen paired with his and Ace's synergy when working together - to ensure the trip back from Onigashima was safe to those they were on their way to rescue.

"We'll have to split up when we get there though, it'll take way too long if we go the UnSeen combat style" Ace told him as Naruto sighed and nodded as they hopped off the boat.

"Yeah I figured, just try not to use your powers and not get noticed" Naruto replied while Ace quickly tied up the ship.

"I could say the same thing about you" he said with a chuckle as Naruto could only nod along as he knew he had a point.

"Whatever, let's just get this started" Naruto told him before he and Ace burst off towards Onigashima to take out everyone around and save those captured.

Honestly taking out all these grunts was so easy that he didn't even need his sword for any of it. Though he had to admit there were a ton of them and it was getting a bit annoying with how they just kept popping up.

"Where the hell are the slaves you captured from Okobore Town!" Naruto demanded as he held one grunt by the ankle as he stood atop a tall invisible UnChange pillar. "Tell me right now or I swear not only will I drop you but I will throw you down to the ground full force" he threatened, getting the man to quickly start freaking out.

"W-Wait! N-No need to go that far! They're in the Amano-Iwato! I-It's a cave we often use to store groups of people! It's at the back of the island!" the man frantically yelled out in hopes he wouldn't get dropped.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" Naruto asked with a smile before he threw the man to the side hard, sending him through the wall of the building to his right. "You hear that bro!?" Naruto yelled out to Ace, getting a nod and thumbs up from him as he knocked out a grunt with a punch to the face before using the man as a shield from another grunt's bullets.

"On it once we finish up these guys!" Ace yelled back, stepping to the side to allow Naruto to fly down from above and crash down into a grunt that had leapt towards him.

"You go free them, I'll deal with these guys. I'm good at causing a scene" Naruto said with a smirk as he created a blade of UnChanging air over his hand and swung it, cleaving a nearby building in half and getting all eyes on him.

"Well, that's one way to do it" Ace chuckled out before he quickly ran off and left the fighting to Naruto.

Honestly, again, these guys were really nothing to bat an eye at but - in a split second - he was forced to draw his sword to block a seriously powerful strike from a full metal kanabo.

"Even if it's not my responsibility to defend this island, with as much destruction that you have caused, enough is enough! Identify yourself!" the attacker demanded as Naruto had to use UnChange to give himself more solid footing as he pushed back on the strike.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki! We're only here to free the citizens of Okobore Town after they were taken by Kaido's men as slaves!" Naruto yelled back, only doing so because all the grunts were knocked out around them - though his declaration of saving the citizens seemed to snap the person out of their desire to fight.

"Then this is enough! My father and his men have set out on an expedition! None of the higher ranks are here at the moment!" the person declared as they stepped back, allowing Naruto to get a solid look at them.

The figure was a woman and a rather tall one at that, easily over 8 and a half feet tall with orange eyes and long white hair that faded into aqua green and then into blue the further it went, all done up into a ponytail that was secured with four orange rods. She had large red horns that were orange near the base.

Her outfit was quite unique, consisting of a white kimono top with long sleeves and indigo colored wisps decorating the lower half of it, red hakama pants secured with a purple and white nio-dasuki that was tied behind her back, and a pair of sandals.

The most telling thing he noticed of the outfit was the shackles around her wrists.

"Father? Wait, are you Kaido's daughter?" Naruto asked in shock, not aware that he even had a child let alone a daughter. The thought of him as a parent made him shudder since every pirate knew how monstrous that man was.

"We only did what was needed to make sure no one could really get in our way" Naruto told her as he noticed Ace running up, quickly shaking his head and holding up a hand to show she was fine and getting him to stop.

"My brother is with me, right now he's off freeing the slaves and we plan to leave Wano after everyone sails off back to the mainland. If you plan to stop us then we're going to have a problem" he explained, warning her as he put his hand on his sword to show he was ready to draw it again and fight if need be.

"I have no desire to stop you from freeing them as to be honest I hoped someone would" she told him, somewhat stabbing her club into the ground to show she didn't want to fight either. "I hate my father and Orochi's actions but if I were to rescue them then my father would have his men kill them all to spite me" she added as she clenched her fist and clenched her jaw, holding back some of her clear anger towards her father.

"Wow, it's a bit surprising to see the daughter of Kaido hate her father but with everything I've heard about the man it doesn't surprise me that much" Naruto said with a chuckle as Yamato smiled and patted her fist to her chest in pride.

"My name is Yamato but I am a self proclaimed Kozuki Oden and a follower of his ways so I am the son of Kaido since to be Oden I must be a man. Please call me either" Yamato explained, somewhat confusing Naruto a bit as this was an odd thing to wrap his head around.

He wasn't naive to 'okama' or those like Izo's sister who presents and identifies as a female but this seemed a bit odd, at least to him. Though, he could wait to bring it up until later after maybe talking more with them.

"Interesting as I know a good bit about Oden myself." Naruto started to tell them as he undid the bandages that covered his Whitebeard tattoo so he could flash it to them before Clothy repaired it "so how about we talk, maybe drink and relax a bit?" he asked, smirking as she grew a massive smile and her eyes seemed to widen and almost sparkle at the sight of his tattoo.

"Yes! I would love to talk about Oden with you!" Yamato said excitedly before grabbing his hand and pulling him away before he could really reply - not that he really minded as it was much better than fighting.

Though he couldn't help but chuckle at how quickly the booze came out for their chat.

"Wow bro, while I'm sending the slaves off you are here drinking with a woman?" Ace said with a flat look as he finally found where they were drinking.

"Oh so this is the brother you mentioned! Apologies, my excitement to talk about Kozuki Oden from an actual member of the Whitebeard pirates caused me to drag him away" Yamato said with a chuckle as they rubbed the back of their head bashfully.

"A fan of Oden eh? Surprising to see that here of all places" Ace said with a raised eyebrow, looking to Naruto and silently asking 'are you sure she's safe?' and getting a nod of confirmation that got him to sit down and join them.

"Ever since I was a kid when I was struck by Oden's impactful words at his execution I have declared myself to follow his way of life and become Kozuki Oden myself! Thus I am the son of Kaido so to be Oden I have to be a man" Yamato explained again, this time to Ace which again caused Naruto to raise a bit of an eyebrow at.

"Look, Yamato, I know a bit about Oden as I've heard many tales about him from Whitebeard himself but I don't think you have to be a man to embody Oden or follow in his ways - unless you fully identify as a man then by all means tell me to shut up" he continued, meeting Yamato's eyes who seemed to be listening and interested in what he had to say.

"If you are a follower of Oden then you know that Oden is the kind who, if he heard you wanted to be like him, would smile, laugh, pat you on the back and encourage you - not really deny you just because you are a woman, especially if you are as strong as I feel you are from that one attack alone" he explained, really trying to approach this carefully as he seriously didn't want to force things on her as it was more that he had met a good number of people who identified as opposite genders and he just really didn't get that feel from Yamato.

Plus her reasoning more so felt like her doing it just to be like Oden and not cause she saw herself as a man. Though he could always be wrong, he wasn't an expert in any of this stuff after all.

He stayed silent as Yamato seemed quite deep in thought, crossing their arms and humming in thought before slowly nodding. "Oden did have female retainers after all in Kikunojo and to a somewhat extent Shinobu…" Yamato muttered as they rubbed their chin before chuckling a bit.

"It's said that intense focus makes one blind to things, guess that was true with me with overly believing I had to be a man" she said, chuckling a bit more before she decided to rip off her sleeves which surprisingly had a drastic effect on Yamato's appearance as now he could see a good deal more of her figure.

It wasn't like he wasn't aware of Yamato's sizable chest - although her baggy kimono hid it well - but something about her removing her sleeves made it a good bit more noticeable. Especially with how there was a good bit of the sides of her breasts visible. While he didn't want to be a pervert he seriously estimated them to be about an M cup.

He tried not to stare too much, her chuckling and seemingly noticing it making him quickly jerk his head to the side, his cheeks red a bit as she chuckled a bit more.

"Well, cheers to becoming daughter of Kaido once more" Naruto said as he cleared his throat to 'change the topic' in a sense and raising his sake bottle for a toast which she toasted to as well, a little bit of a smirk still on her face as they began drinking once more and the more they drank the more Naruto found himself really liking Yamato.

"You know, it's a bit unfortunate that we get along so well as it really makes me want to recruit you right here and now" Naruto said with a smile as he took a swig from another sake bottle as each of them had polished off a few couple bottles.

"If I could get these chains off then I would happily join you out at sea, my damnedable father has had these bomb shackles placed on me since I was but a child to keep me on this island" Yamato lamented as she shook her shackles a bit with a sigh. Naruto frowned a bit as he had several ways to remove them for her but doing so would potentially put the both of them in great danger and he knew Ace was thinking the same thing.

"Look Yamato, one day I plan to return to Wano and free it from Orochi and your father's control - when that day comes I will free you and I'll more than happily welcome you aboard. You are a strong fighter and a good soul, perfect to help me achieve my dream and help me become King of the Pirates!" Naruto declared as he held out a hand towards her to shake on his offer.

"Oh you mean your dream of-" Ace started, in a bit of a drunken stupor, before blabbing and telling Yamato his true dream - something that only he, Whitebeard, and Marco knew of. "Oh shit! T-That just slipped out! I'm sorry bro!" Ace quickly stammered and apologized while Naruto just sighed and waved it off.

Naruto didn't quite mind, nor was he mad at it. If anything he was more curious about Yamato as she had a struck expression on her face as if she had just heard the secrets of the universe or something.

"Just forget it Yamato and more importantly don't laugh! That is my brother's ultimate dream and sure when I heard it I laughed but I won't let anyone else mock his dream as Whitebeard and I believe in it!" Ace declared, getting serious to 'defend' his dream before Yamato bolted up and frantically pulled something out from her kimono and held up a book of sorts.

"I would never laugh at that!" Yamato told them, actually crying as she looked at him with a look of almost awe. "Within Kozuki Oden's journal there's a mention of a great man that said those exact same words! So there is no way I'd laugh at that!" Yamato revealed, peaking Naruto's interest as he held out his hand - Yamato understanding what he was asking for as she handed him the journal that he began to flip through.

"Really? Hmmm...I like the sound of that" Ace said with a chuckle as he left Naruto to read the journal since it was his dream and all. "I'd love to have a drink with him and Naruto some day" he said as Naruto froze a bit as he realized just who had said the same words as him.

"They died a long time ago Ace, don't worry about it" Naruto told him, not sure how he'd react if he learned it was Roger - his biological father who he hated - and decided it was best to keep things unknown, at least for now. "Though it does surprise me that we share the same dream…explains why Pops reacted the way he did…" he added, getting a smile and an excited nod from Yamato who scooted closer to him.

"Your words stunned him just like they did to Oden in the past! I'm so thankful that we met, you are absolutely one of those mentioned by Oden here in these pages that will take Kaido down!" Yamato told him, her eyes sparkling as Naruto didn't quite know how to respond.

"I can only hope to be as I never go back on my word so when I said I plan to free Wano - the second I feel I'm truly strong enough - I will free Wano" he told her as he handed back Oden's journal, looking her dead in the eyes before she grabbed his hand in hers and grew a massive smile on her face.

"I truly believe you and eagerly await the day!" Yamato said excitedly, roping an arm over his shoulder and around his neck in a mix of a one armed hug and a headlock which resulted in his head being pressed against the side of her breasts a bit. "Until then let us train and grow to be ready for when the time comes!" she cheered, holding up her sake bottle in one hand while he weakly did the same as she continued to pull him in closer against her breast.

As they drank through the night Ace was the first to drop out - not due to being a lightweight but more just being out-drunk by the two of them, one part due to Yamato's size and another part due to UnDead being great at protecting his liver. Naruto did his best to drag him away so he could sleep well enough while he and Yamato continued talking.

"It really is a shame you are leaving Wano so soon after we met…." Yamato whined as she leaned against him, sighing as Naruto could only chuckle.

"It is annoying as you'd be perfect as my first crew member but hey, I gave you my snail number AND one of my Vivre card compasses so if anything major happens you can contact me" he told her, getting another sigh from her.

"But it's not the same as us talking in person like this" she told him, nudging him a bit as she hugged her sake bottle, the bottle pretty much hidden in-between her breasts which he was doing his best not to stare at. "You know, before you kind of cleared things up I never paid attention to anyone staring - not that they did due to me being Kaido's offspring and me covering up so much - but I've got to say I really enjoy your stares~" Yamato whispered to him, his face instantly heating up as he quickly tried to jerk his head to the side to look away only for Yamato to stop him.

"S-Sorry, I'm really trying not to be a pervert or anything" he told her, getting a soft chuckle from her as she ran a finger down his jawline.

"It's perfectly okay, no need to look away. I really don't mind" she said in a soft whisper like tone while tugging at her kimono a bit which made them jiggle a bit and allow him to aaaaaaalmost see something as if to tease him. "If anything I really like it" she added, their eyes meeting as they found themselves leaning towards one another.

"Y-You need to know that I'm already with two girls" he told her, getting her to smile as she rested her forehead against his.

"As expected of the future King of the Pirates, how about we make it three?" she told him before their lips finally met.

The kiss was intense, passionate, and a good bit animalistic with a good deal of tongue. He could feel her tugging at his clothes, his hands going to hers as well before the sound of a Den Den Mushi started to ring before it picked up after muttering the word 'Ulti' and 'returning' which very quickly snapped Yamato out of her trance before she pulled it out of her nearby bag.

The 'Den Den Mushi' turned out to actually be a 'Smart Tanashi', this being the first time seeing one which he had heard before due to it being Wano's equivalent to a 'Den Den Mushi'. It looked like a river snail with a long pointed shell which, in Yamato's case, was pitch black. If he had to guess it was maybe akin to a black Den Den Mushi which was used for wire tapping.

"Crap! Of course it had to happen now of all times" Yamato cursed as she fixed her kimono top before turning on the Smart Tanashi, it making a rewinding sound before it clicked and started to play.

"Hello? Hello? Sorry, this is my first time using a Smart Tanashi so I hope we are in range. This is Baby 5 of Joker's crew along with Lao G and Buffalo, we are just about to reach Wano's waterfalls with Ulti and Page One as prisoners. Where do you want us to take them?" a woman's voice spoke out through the Smart Tanashi before its appearance changed from a female with black hair to a man with pink hair and a weird red helmet.

"Oh yeah, I heard you guys were taking care of it as a sign of good faith towards this new alliance. Hmmm….The boss made it clear you can't bring them to Onigashima due to the trouble someone would cause trying to save them so you'll be heading to Udon, I'll contact the head jailer for you to contact once you make it up the falls" the man replied, Yamato slamming her fist against the nearby tree in frustration once she heard they were avoiding Onigashima before she turned off her snail, seemingly done with listening in on whoever they were.

"Let me guess, you know Ulti and Page One and would've tried saving them?" Naruto asked, being able to pick up on the context cues a bit - or at least he hoped so.

"Ulti is a brat my father looked after after her father, who was a friend of his, died. Her and her brother landed in hot water a year or so ago when she stole two dinosaur model devil fruits that she and her brother ate" she started to explain as she sat down and sighed. "My father, in a fit of drunken rage that he doesn't want to go back on, ordered them to be captured and executed around a horde of fruit to try and reclaim the devil fruits that were stolen. I somewhat helped them escape back then and have been keeping an eye out for if their hiding spot had been found out, which it seemingly has…though with them avoiding Onigashima there isn't much I can do" she told him, wiggling her cuffs to remind how she can't leave the island.

"I'll save them" Naruto offered immediately, surprising Yamato who probably wasn't expecting the offer, let alone this instantly.

"W-Wait, really? That's kind but you really don't have to" Yamato tried to tell him, finding his out of the blue offer unbelievably kind but also knowing it would be dangerous, only for him to wave her off.

"Look, you are a future crew member of mine and these are friends of yours so I want to help. Plus hey, saving them might get them to join my crew as well so it's a win win and even if they don't it's still a win cause I helped you" he told her with a warm smile, reaching out to hold her hand and give it a squeeze before getting a smack on the back of his head from Ace right afterwards who had seemingly woken back up from the commotion.

"That would be causing a scene and putting you and everyone else in danger so, as much as he wants to, he can't" Ace explained before Naruto shook his head and looked behind him at Ace.

"Look, I can intercept them before they reach Wano since if they are going to Udon then that means I can guess which waterfall they are going to be taking. PLUS! If they aren't on Kaido's crew then there isn't as much danger, especially if I keep myself covered" Naruto told him with Clothy creating a hood and facemask to cover himself up as he stood up and faced Ace.

"And how do you plan to get away with them cause if you are expecting them to ride on my Striker then that really will endanger everyone" Ace reminded him before Naruto shook his head again and reached inside his cloak.

"Look Ace, through this entire journey I've been worrying about how things might go if shit hits the fan and I keep going into a trance and I find myself working on this" he told him as he pulled out a large ten sided die made out of stone with the roman numerals one through ten carved on the faces. "I don't know what it is but if I'm doing it instinctively then it means it'll help me escape if need be" he explained, them both knowing this was another 'Rule' of his that just hadn't been 'given life' so to speak before he put it back in his cloak to store it for now.

"And if I'm being honest…I've felt for a while that Wano would be the trigger for me to go off on my own and I think Pops felt the same way, hence why he fought allowing me to come here for so long" Naruto told him, the silence from Ace and him looking away from him showing he was correct.

"Ugh you stubborn bastard…Fine, whatever! But if you meet one of Kaido's crew members then you run and that's coming from Pops! Whoever this Joker guy and his crew is is one thing but Kaido's crew is another can of worms so you focus on saving them and then getting the hell out whatever way you can" Ace warned him, clearly frustrated and annoyed while realizing barking out warnings was all he could do. "Give me your snail so I can tell Izo what's going on" he added with a sigh before Naruto tossed it at him and he walked off to place the call and probably give the two of them some privacy.

As Naruto turned around towards Yamato she was quick to envelope him in a tight hug that she somewhat had to lean down for so he wouldn't be smothered.

"Thank you, for all of this…Ulti might be a bratty friend but she doesn't deserve this so please, tell her I sent you and put up with her until you return here for me" she told him with a smirk, Naruto nodding with a smile before Yamato pulled away and seemingly remembered something.

"Ulti is hard to miss as she has a pair of big white horns, blue and pink hair, and always has a pink and white face mask. Her younger brother Page One has purple hair and pretty much always has a green and white hat on. Just look for someone yelling and being loud and that's probably her" Yamato explained to him before she pulled out a slip of paper. "Call me when you get a moment after everything, I also have a Den Den Mushi" she added as she slipped him a piece of paper with her den den mushi's frequency which Clothy quickly stored for him before she pulled him in and surprised him with another kiss, this one being softer and gentler than their previous animalistic one.

"I'll call once things have settled down" he told her as they pulled away, him finding her to be incredibly cute when blushing, though he quickly sighed as he caught his Den Den Mushi that Ace threw his way. "Way to ruin a moment" he complained as Ace just rolled his eyes.

"I called Pops and told him to be prepared for whatever crazy way you return to the Moby Dick but that's all I told him. As for Izo, he's annoyed but letting you go along with it. I'm gonna rush to meet up with him and speed back to the Moby Dick so we don't get caught up in whatever mess you cause" Ace told him, ignoring his complaint. "If I were you I'd hurry as Izo spotted something weird and orange flying through the sky, that might be whoever you are looking for - or at least it's a decent lead" he informed him as he started to prepare to leave as well by grabbing his bags as well as some leftover sake.

As Naruto looked over to Yamato a nod and a smile was all he needed to send him rocketing off in a burst of UnStoppable speed, though he did sneak in a quick kiss to her cheek before running off towards where he hoped this 'Buffallo' guy was.

It couldn't be too hard to find them honestly, all he had to do was find a ship that was heading their way since not many people go to Wano. Hopefully, to make things easier, he decided to use a platform of UnChanging air to allow him to run through the sky to give himself a better vantage point.

'Okay….definitely not what I expected but I think that's them' Naruto thought to himself as he saw what seemed to be someone flying through the air with a propeller around their neck - most likely from a devil fruit power - and four people on their back with two of them bound in chains.

He was thankful for Yamato's descriptions as Ulti's hair definitely helped make it clear just who they were.

'Well, let's go mount a rescue' he thought as he increased his speed and jumped around in the air off platforms he made before rocketing himself down towards them, closing his eyes to activate UnSeen as he flew. 'This one is for you Lee and Guy!' he thought as an infectious smile grew on his face.

"UnStoppable Art: Full Speed Dynamic Entry!" Naruto called out as he double flying kicked the propeller user in the middle of the back, opening his eyes as he made contact and hitting with more than enough power to send the man who was flying crashing down hard and near instantly to the small island below them.

As the others fell through the air Naruto quickly grabbed Page One and Ulti in UnChanging air and landed in the air, watching the two passengers as they fell through the air towards the large man to ensure they went down.

"Who the hell are you!?" Ulti yelled as she wiggled in her chains and glared at him.

"Sis, really not the best way to be towards the person who seemingly has saved us" Page One said with a sigh which only got a glare from Ulti in response.

"Relax, Yamato sent me, she overheard the communications and I offered to come since she couldn't save you guys" Naruto told them, the mention of Yamato seemingly setting down Ulti a bit.

"Well, now you've pissed off Doflamingo's crew who are allies with Kaido's! What do you plan to do now cause I don't see a ship with you!" Ulti barked out as Naruto chuckled as he watched the people below gather themselves.

"I don't give two shits about making enemies, I just have to kick these guy's asses and flee with you guys in tow afterwards. My price for saving you guys is to have you guys join my crew so I better not hear any complaints" Naruto told them, looking over his shoulder as Page One sighed and shrugged his shoulders, showing he didn't care while Ulti huffed and looked away.

"I only follow strong people, if you end up being a weakling I'll just take Pay-Pay and escape on my own!" she told him, getting a chuckle from Naruto as he stood up.

"Then I guess you'd better keep close watch of my fight and decide for yourself if I'm strong or not" Naruto said with a chuckle as he removed the platforms below them, sending them falling towards the island, Naruto itching for a good fight and hoped fighting crew members of a Warlord would give him some challenge.

"Let's not keep them waiting" he told them as he wrapped them in UnChange and pulled them down with him as he dashed down towards the island, ready for the fight to begin.

Sorry about taking so long for this, lots of stuff happened with me, the most recent of all being me getting a bad case of the flu. It's finally gone but I'm stuck with an annoying cough that keeps having me cough up phlegm n whatnot which is annoying. But yeah it was somewhat bad, kept waking up utterly dripping in sweat and having a seriously bad cough, thank god that's all over lol

Realized I forgot to add the harem list after Hancock and Sandersonia joined it so here it is and it'll be updated alongside the crew list as the story goes along. Yamato joined while Ulti is more or less down the line and felt listing her now would just be easier then remembering to do so later.

First thing I wanna make extra clear is - I respect the trans characters in One Piece that identify/present as their opposite gender like Kiku and Iva but Yamato - at least to me personally - comes off akin to "Well to be Oden I have to be a guy so I guess I'm a guy" rather than a character who fully is "I am X gender in mind despite my body" you know? Like if you explained it to Yamato that you don't have to be a guy to live by Oden's ideals n whatnot she'd most likely go "Oh, you have a point, okay then" and stop calling herself the 'son of Kaido' (though I still see her being very tomboy-ish like going into the male's bath due to not caring bout that kinda stuff)

I really tried my best to put that across in the story and I hope it went well cause I really don't want to insult or diminish or bash anything, truly.

I'm also tweaking things a bit with Ulti since I want her on the crew and can somewhat see Kaido getting pissed at someone stealing from him, even if it's the kids of a friend of his who he had been looking after. I can somewhat see that being a 'crossing the line' thing with him almost. Plus, if Kaido raised/looked after Ulti/Page One as they grew up then it wouldn't be unbelievable to make it where Yamato knew Ulti and might've been friendly - not too outside realm of possibilities I feel

Also, one thing I feel I should mention quickly due to someone asking about it in a review - in regards to the Gum Gum Fruit (and its awakening) - I'll be honest, I'm really not too fond of it. I feel it's unnecessary and feels very much like when Kishimoto introduced the 'Indra/Asura reincarnation' and 'Kaguya is an alien' and whatnot in 'Naruto'.

I will do my best to work around it, maybe making it where 'Joyboy' - rather than what he is in canon - is a, I don't wanna say spirit, kinda feeling a person has you know? Its hard to put into words but think of it like 'the values of JoyBoy can be felt in the aura and spirit of those who truly feel the same as he did' you know? Think of it like the 'Will of Fire' but more tangible, able to be sensed, and passed on to others.

And I'd have it where the WG has been very keen at snuffing out those who would rally those behind them like the OG JoyBoy (either that or they meet their own untimely demise due to not being strong enough to back up their insanely magnetic and charismatic aura they give off).

I hope all that makes sense at least somewhat lol
