Here we are at Chapter 6 and the final chapter for this story. Another fun one to add to the record books. The time has come for Teams RWBY, KEPL, and the Justice League to save Earth. I do not own RWBY or Justice League. They belong to their respective owners. I only own my OCs. Here's chapter 6. Enjoy.
Chapter 6: To be Heroes
In Central City, the Justice League and Teams RWBY and KEPL meet up with Kilgore outside STAR labs. Alone.
"Oh, great. It's Grimm Gorilla Grodd," Flash groans.
"Grimm who-now?" Lloyd asks.
"Don't ask," Flash replies.
"You're sure this will work, Cyborg?" Superman asks.
"Don't have many options. It'll just have to work," Cyborg replies.
"We need to end this," Ruby says, taking Yang's hand in her left and Khazhak's hand in her right.
"Kilgore," Cyborg says.
"Justice League. Team RWBY. And Team KEPL," Kilgore replies.
"We came like you wanted. Now, how do we defeat Watts?" Cyborg asks, but Kilgore just scoffs.
"Stop me?" they all turn and see none other than Arthur Watts standing behind them, with a mechanical body, two pistols, a second pair of robot arms, and even a beard on his face to go with his mustache.
"I thought he only transferred his consciousness," Ruby mutters.
"If he can give himself a new body..." Edom says.
"Then he's got a lot more tricks up his sleeve than we thought," Khazhak adds.
"Who knows how many people he'll kill with that kind of power," Weiss notes.
"Aw, missed me?" Watts taunts them.
Lloyd clenches his fists, "I'm gonna make you wish you had stayed dead under Atlas,"
"Please, not even death can stop me now. I had a good feeling that Atlas would fall, so just in case, I made a little contingency plan to store my consciousness with Kilgore. And now, I can finally kill you annoying, sniveling little brats. There's no way you can defeat-," Watts monologues.
"Now! Rogues!" Cyborg turns back.
Blake uses her shadow bending to reveal Killer Croc, Weather Wizard, and Mirror Master on Kilgore's sides.
"You? What is this?!" Kilgore looks quite surprised.
"Oh, shut up Kilgore," Weather Wizard scoffs.
Killer Croc charges and grabs Kilgore, "You made things so bad here, we had no choice but to work with the Justice League," he growls.
"It's embarrassing," Weather Wizard notes.
Croc throws Kilgore next to Watts and then they get surrounded by several mirrors in the air.
"You tried to mess with our world, too. So, just this once, we all have the same goal. A world left in one piece... to rob later on," Mirror Master chuckles before creating more mirrors around them.
Weather Wizard uses his wand to create a fog that engulfs Watts and Kilgore, blinding them.
"Watts? Watts?! Doesn't your new and improved body come with a way to see through all of this?" Kilgore asks as they look around.
Watts turns and spots a red light through the fog, "That way," they race to the red light. But once they leave the fog, they find themselves alone as they move through the streets. "We can see now. Let's-," Watts says before getting sucker punched in the face by Khazhak.
"Oops, my bad," Khazhak grins as Team KEPL and Team RWBY stand together, all back in their original forms.
"The closer you look, the less you'll actually see," even Bahamut has returned to inside Khazhak's body.
They all draw their signature weapons, glad to have them and their semblances back. Watts growls as he gets up.
"Fancy seeing you here, Watts. What? Got sick of being Salem's lapdog?" Weiss taunts him, twirling her rapier around before stabbing it into the ground, creating a black glyph under Watts to pin him down.
"Kilgore, there's something wrong here. Their weapons, their semblances... they're back," Watts says.
Superman flies in, picking Kilgore up into the air, "It's time for you to face justice, Kilgore,"
"Hah!" Kilgore laughs, emitting a green glow from his body that starts to weaken Superman. Kryptonite. "Like the new grimm ability? How they shift into all of your weaknesses?" he overpowers Superman and kicks him back. "That was MY idea!"
Superman falls back towards his friends and Lantern fires a missile at Kilgore, but he merely catches it and crushes it in his hand.
"Whatever our little grimm creations can do, so can I!" Kilgore says.
Batman throws a few batarangs and an explosive at Kilgore as the league spreads out. Wonder Woman grabs his right arm with her lasso before the projectiles hit Kilgore. Black Canary runs in, but Kilgore grabs her and throws her at Weiss, stopping her black glyph. Free from her semblance, Watts creates a few grimm to attack them. The teams and Canary charge at them. Khazhak slices through one Sabyr with his sword before firing off a spark shot at a second. Edom fires one of his knives at a Ravager flying overhead. When the knife hits, Edom pulls hard and sends it crashing onto a car. Weiss dodges a few claw strikes from a pair of grimm and jumps back before thrusting her rapier into the head of one. The second goes at her side, but Lloyd drops in and skewers it with his claws. Porphyrius fires off his rifles at a few Beowolves while Yang uppercuts an Ursa under its jaw, followed by a double jab to send it flying into a building. Seeing an opening thanks to the others, Canary goes after Kilgore, nailing a few punches on his face followed by an axe kick. She focuses her cry on him, but he blocks it with a cry of his own. Kilgore pulls hard and swings Wonder Woman into a running Batman before going back at Canary.
Meanwhile, Weiss stabs her rapier into the ground to skewer a few Beowolves with some ice shards. Edom lands behind her, twirling his twin scythe around as he slices another grimm into pieces. Khazhak grabs an Ursa's skull and crushes it in his left hand, glancing back as Ruby flies in and bisects a Beowolf. Blake runs past them, swinging her katana through a Beowolf while Yang flies in to double kick a Sabyr. Blake ducks under a lunging Sabyr, only for said Sabyr to get caught by Porphyrius's semblance, who slams it into the ground. Porphyrius fires his rifles at Watts, but he blocks them with his left arm. Watts then creates a pathway of grimm ooze towards them creating more grimm that attack them. Yang punches one back before using her semblance to beat down two more. Porphyrius jumps over a Beowolf while beheading it with his blades.
"Well, that's new," Porphyrius notes, glaring at Watts.
"Things change," Watts replies as more grimm appear to attack them. "Kilgore, Cyborg is using a Dust algorithm. He put us in his holo-trap," he says as Kilgore forces back Flash and Wonder Woman.
Kilgore looks around and sees what he's talking about, laughing, "Haven't learned from your first trip, have you? Well then, if we're in a holo-trap," Kilgore leaves his grimm body and flies up to take control of the holo-trap.
He alters the environment, creating an army of grimm that surrounds the heroes and huntsmen.
"Kilgore, face us!" Flash yells.
"You come into my home turf, and you honestly think you can win?!" Kilgore laughs.
"You idiots. You just made things that much easier for us," Watts replies.
The digital world changes and everyone get sucked into a light above When the light dims, they all find themselves in a large coliseum with grimm surrounding them in the stands. While the Justice League are a little confused, those from Remnant recognize this place all too well.
"Amity Coliseum," Khazhak realizes.
"That doesn't sound so good," Vixen says.
"It's not," Lloyd replies.
A buzzer sounds off before the center platform in the arena rises up, "Th first digital world didn't get the job done," Watts says as he appears with several grimm by his side. "Let's call it user error. This time, however, I will achieve what I always wanted. Remnant is old news. Here, I can remake the world as I see fit!"
"Hahaha, you mean our image," Wonder Woman laughs, her voice distorted.
She flies up and attacks Ruby, "What's wrong with her?" Ruby asks before using her semblance to dodge her punch.
"It's Kilgore. He's possessed Wonder Woman!" Flash realizes.
"Hahaha, you thought you were so smart. But, who's in control now?" Kilgore says before changing the world again, causing them all to fall into a digital version of Emerald Forest.
"You're outmatched," Watts notes as he creates more grimm.
"But not out of the fight yet, Watts," Khazhak growls before firing off a spark shot at one grimm.
The grimm attack, but Lloyd smashes his fist into the ground, impaling a few grimm with his steel spikes. Edom grabs Weiss' arm and spins her around, allowing her to kick an Ursa in the face followed by Edom beheading it with his twin scythe. Superman flies into the air, throwing one Beowolf away. However, a Ravager attacks him and starts emitting Kryptonite, but Superman punches through it and smashes the grimm into the ground. Three Beowolves swarm on him, emitting Kryptonite on him. Superman loses his strength, but Batman and Porphyrius charge in. Batman kicks one grimm away while Porphyrius slices through another and shoots the third. Batman helps Superman onto his feet and the three charge back into the fight. Off to the side, Yang flies back as Kilgore charges at her. Kilgore throws a punch, but Yang deflects it and goes for a few punches of her own. Kilgore dodges them and then hits her back with an elbow followed by a left cross. Yang rolls on the ground, firing her gauntlets behind her to propel her back at Kilgore. She throws two punches, but Kilgore blocks them followed by flipping over Yang's sweep kick. Kilgore throws a hard punch, but Yang blocks it. When she goes for another punch, Yang catches it as her lights on fire. She screams while punching Kilgore in the face, sending him flying through a few trees. When she stops, she rolls out of the way as Khazhak crashes down, grabbing Kilgore's face with his left arm and gives him a good shock before throwing Kilgore into another tree.
As Kilgore gets back up, something happens, "Argh... Khazhak... he's... trying to regain... Shut up!" it looks like Wonder Woman was coming back before Kilgore regained control.
Khazhak looks between them and his dragon arm, humming in thought. The thought is interrupted when Ruby flies in, spinning in the air with her scythe. However, Kilgore catches her blade and pulls her in for a knee to the chest, followed by an uppercut. Kilgore flies up and throws a roundhouse kick in Ruby's face, sending her towards the ground. Luckily, Khazhak catches her and puts her down gently as Yang joins them.
"Ruby? Ruby!" Yang yells, worried.
"I'm... I'm fine," Ruby slowly comes to, panting. "I just need to catch my breath," she says, holding her sister's hand.
"I'm getting you out. I don't care," Yang retorts.
"That's not gonna work, Yang," Khazhak replies as everyone else continue to fight their enemies.
"But, Khazhak, she needs to-," Yang says.
"You know you can't control everything she does, Yang," Khazhak argues back.
"But, I-," Yang stutters.
"Yang, I know you're scared. I know," Ruby says.
"But, you promised!" Yang cries.
"Yang, you can't protect me from everything. Yang, you have to trust me," Ruby says as Blake beheads an Ursa and Lloyd slices his claws through a Sabyr. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not Mom. And I'm not Raven," she says. Flash charges at Kilgore, who flies up and away while he gets surrounded by grimm. Said grimm get caught in the mouths of several skull phantoms before being stabbed by a rain of ice shards. He looks to see Edom and Weiss to the side. "We make our own futures."
Watts sends several grimm after them, but Edom creates a squad of skeleton summons with scythes who push them back, giving Weiss an opening to go after Watts. She creates two walls of ice that box him in, but he seems unconcerned. As she gets close, she gets knocked through the ice wall by a charging Manticore. The Manticore runs at her, but the skeleton summons blocks it, tearing it apart with their scythes. Edom runs over and helps Weiss up as they get back into the fight.
"Everything alright?" Superman lands next to them.
The trio look between each other and smile, "Yeah. I'm not trying to join anyone too soon," Ruby replies.
"Then we'd better finish this. You can keep going, little rose?" Khazhak stands up and offers her a hand.
She takes the hand and get up, "Let's do this," Ruby says before using her semblance on all of them and flying up into the air.
Ruby flies around Kilgore, getting him surrounded by the four of them. He goes for a punch, but Superman grabs his arms while Yang kicks him in the face. Khazhak grabs his face and starts shocking him again.
"Cyborg!" Khazhak calls out.
Cyborg types away on his screen, trying to free Wonder Woman.
"Hurry... He's... Ah! Watts, they're... going after... stop him... my code!" Kilgore says as he struggles against Wonder Woman for control.
Watts steps in and changes the landscape again as Kilgore leaves Wonder Woman's body. They now find themselves in Gotham, outside Wayne Industries.
Wonder Woman groans as Flash kneels next to her, "I'm sorry, Diana,"
"It's not your fault, Flash," Wonder Woman replies.
"Did you get his code while you were in there?" Lantern asks.
"I'm sure it'll be fine. Cyborg will crack the code," Vixen says.
"Are you sure?" Yang says ominously, confusing them.
Porphyrius aims his rifles at her, "You're not Yang. You can't fool me, Kilgore," he narrows his eyes, putting the others on edge while Flash is panting. "Get out of Yang, NOW!"
"I almost fooled you, huh," Kilgore notes as he glances back at them.
"You couldn't fool me even if I lost both of my eyes," Porphyrius retorts.
Kilgore grunts before firing Yang's gauntlets behind him, launching him at Porphyrius. However, he gets tackled by Lloyd and thrown into a nearby car.
Superman turns to his friends, "We'll handle this. Everyone else, keep Watts busy," he says as more grimm approach Watts' sides.
Lantern creates two waves of energy that take out a few Ursa. Vixen runs and jumps along the buildings, doing a double hammer fist in a Beowolf, while Wonder Woman wraps her lasso around a Sabyr and swings it into the ground. Cyborg sees a Boarbatusk rolling towards him, only to get tackled by a Manticore. He fires off his laser cannon, dealing serious damage to it. Before the grimm can retaliate, three bombs drop next to it and explode, curtesy of Batman. The Boarbatusk charges at Cyborg, but he punches it into the pavement and then plugs into it.
"The programming... is very similar-Ah! It's no different. Stay focused, Victor!" Cyborg pushes on even as his face turns into a grimm.
Back in the other fight, Kilgore blocks two strikes from Canary and Blake and swats them aside. However, Edom sends out several of his skull phantoms to attack from all directions. Kilgore fire off Yang's gauntlets to shoot them down, but then he gets backhanded by Khazhak's left arm.
"You won't win against all of us, Kilgore," Bahamut notes.
"Especially like this," Khazhak adds.
He swings his sword, sending out several lightning bolts at Kilgore. Kilgore dodges them as he flips around, only to get sideswiped by Flash as he runs by. Porphyrius uses his semblance and forces Kilgore onto his hands and knees.
"Let Yang go, now!" Porphyrius demands.
Khazhak lands in front of Kilgore, grabbing his face and begins shocking him, "Yang, fight him. You're stronger than he is!"
"Khazhak... No, I'm in control... Get out of my head... This is my world... No, it isn't," Yang fights Kilgore for control. "Get... off of me!" Kilgore uses Yang's semblance to break free.
He goes for Khazhak, only for Lloyd to get in the way and ends up possessing him instead.
"Not what I was hoping for," Kilgore groans, now in Lloyd's body.
"Lloyd!" Khazhak yells.
Lloyd turns to throw a claw strike, but Khazhak jumps out of the way. He smashes his steel fist into the ground, sending out steel spikes everywhere and forcing everyone back.
"Yang, are you okay?" Porphyrius kneels next to Yang as she holds her head.
Yang groans, "Oh, that was so not cool,"
Meanwhile, Lloyd goes after Khazhak, only for Flash to run by, grab him, and throw him aside. Ruby flies in with her semblance and swings her scythe, launching Kilgore upwards, followed up by Superman throwing a hard right to smash him into the ground. When the dust settles, Lloyd is still standing as they all surround him.
"Let him go, Kilgore. Take me instead!" Flash pleads.
Kilgore just laughs, "Hahaha, you?! You've been a complete mess ever since I used you like a toy back in the digital world. Couldn't stomach it anymore? Was that what finally broke you?" he taunts him.
"...No, Kilgore. I am more than just that stupid memory of you. You don't control me anymore," Flash replies.
Kilgore growls and fires off Lloyd's gauntlet. Flash dodges the shot and charges at Kilgore, tackling him to the ground. Both fighters get back up, but Weiss and Porphyrius pin him in place with their semblances. Khazhak lands behind him and grabs his head, sending his semblance into him.
"Give me back my brother, now!" Khazhak growls.
"Ahhh! Don't... stop, Brother... No, you wont beat me again!... Just shut up... Kilgore Lloyd fights it.
Flash then comes in and uses his power on Lloyd's head with Khazhak's semblance. As Kilgore tries to fight back, the others hold his arms back.
Meanwhile, Cyborg's human face becomes monstrous as Kilgore's programming takes over.
Vixen turns after punching a Centinel away, "Cyborg!"
She has to fly away as grimm Cyborg tries to grab her. She then lands on his back, taking him to the ground.
"I know you can do it, Cyborg, You're stronger than Kilgore!" Vixen says as Cyborg screams.
Thanks to their combined efforts, they managed to get Kilgore out of Lloyd, only for the former to jump into Flash this time. However, Flash has the will to hold him back, fighting for control. As they fight, Superman flies in and grabs them, holding them up in the air.
"No! You can't beat me, Flash!" Kilgore says.
Meanwhile, grimm Cyborg knocks Vixen off him and stalks towards her.
"Cyborg! Come on, talk to me!" Vixen pleads.
"I'm almost... I just need...," Cyborg fights before finally regaining full control and looks around their holo-trap. "There are six variants of the creatures of grimm that Kilgore created with Watts' aid. Poison. Power absorbing. DNA splicer, Kryptonite, and whatever he has to go against Lantern's ring. If this is going to work, I need to plug into all of them... all at once," he says.
Vixen touches his left arm, "Cyborg, if you do that... it will kill you,"
"Weiss and Edom said they used Dust to counteract the poison in Batman. If we had that, we can use it to tether me, keep me in full control. Vixe, I know you're scared, but we have to try. We need to end this, now," Cyborg says, and though she looks apprehensive at first, Vixen eventually nods.
Vixen flies back into the air while Cyborg runs by, blasting grimm.
In the other fight, the others converge on Superman and Flash, "Superman, let him go! If Kilgore jumps into you, we'll be in serious trouble," Ruby says.
"That sounds like a great idea," Kilgore notes before Flash takes back control.
"I'll hold him off. I'll be alright, Superman. Please, trust me," Flash begs.
Superman nods and lets Flash down, who fights against Kilgore in his mind. Just then, Lantern flies in and creates a barrier around Flash.
"Superman, I got him!" Lantern says.
However, Kilgore just chuckles before using the energy of the ring as a gateway. He flies out of Flash and intro Lantern, taking control.
"Oh, crap," Lloyd groans.
Vixen flies through the air, taking out any Ravager that gets to close. She spots Batman throwing batarangs at a few Lancers, not seeing a Deathstalker crawling towards his back. Vixen grabs it by the stinger, flies up and then smashes it onto the ground.
"Cyborg, got the first one!" Vixen says as Cyborg walks over and plugs in.
Meanwhile, Kilgore laughs as he gains control of Green Lantern, "This is nice. What power. This is a game changer," he smirks before combining his power with Lantern's to change the area again.
When it all clears, Weiss gasps as she finds herself back in Atlas, right outside the Schnee manor.
"It's... Atlas," Weiss mutters sadly, prompting Edom to take her hand and Ruby to hold her shoulder.
Superman and Wonder Woman fly up after Kilgore while the rest of the Justice League take out grimm around Cyborg. An Ursa comes at his rear, but Batman kills it with a few explosives.
"It looks just like home," Weiss says melancholy.
"Weiss, it's not home. Not anymore. You know where your real home is," Edom says.
Weiss eventually smiles, "You're right. It's not. This is my home. I've always been home," she says as she looks at each and every one of them, making them all smile.
The hear some groaning and spot Watts attempting to escape. They give chase as grimm appear in front of them. Meanwhile, the Justice League pin down several grimm around Cyborg as he plugs into all of them, but the ordeal is taking its toll on him.
"I. Need. DUST!" Cyborg yells as he fights to stay in control.
Vixen nods and flies over towards RWBY and KEPL. In the air, Kilgore tries to blast Wonder Woman away, but she dodges the attack. Superman flies by with a right cross across Kilgore's face, followed by Wonder Woman throwing a flying kick to his stomach. They fly back at him, but he pushes them back with a twister of Lantern's power. Back on the ground, the two huntsmen teams slice through grimm as they chase Watts. Khazhak swings his sword through two Sabyrs, using his shoulder as a stepping-stone for Ruby who jumps into the air to bisect a Lancer. Porphyrius fires his rifles at approaching grimm while Yang smashes any that get past his bullets. Edom twirls his twin-scythe around through an Ursa while Weiss sends out a few ice shards to skewer a Manticore. Finally, Blake flips over a Beowoolf while slicing its head off with her katana, and Lloyd throws a drill punch through another Beowolf's chest.
"Weiss! Blake! I need Dust!" Vixen calls out as she run by them.
"Kind of in the middle of something!" Porphyrius replies, slicing through an Ursa.
"It's for Cyborg. He needs it to take control of Kilgore's code!" Vixen says.
"Take this!" Weiss throws her a vial of Dust.
Vixen catches it and runs back to Cyborg as the others continue on.
"Cyborg!" Cyborg looks up as Vixen throws the vial before getting pounced on by a Sabyr.
He catches it and places it into his left arm, giving him the juice he needs. Back in the air, Kilgore screams in pain as Cyborg starts to take over. He dodges a punch from Superman, but gets tackled to the ground by Wonder Woman. He blasts her off of him, but gets hit by a flurry of punches from Flash and gets knocked back. Growling, Kilgore flies back into the air. Meanwhile, Watts approaches the front gate of the manor, but can't seem to get out.
"No matter what world or dimension I'm in, I'm surrounded by idiots. Where's the back door to this program," Watts groans.
"You're not getting off that easy," he hears and looks back as Teams RWBY and KEPL catch up to him.
Watts tries to run, but Weiss blocks him with a glyph, "You WILL answer for everything you've done. For everyone you've hurt," Weiss declares.
"For the wisest among us, there's always a way out," Watts says as his extra arms grab his pistols and he creates more grimm. The two teams charge at the monsters. "You think you could pull on over on me? That you're smarter than me? You can't fight vision. Salem didn't have vision. Schnee didn't have vision. I was born to remake the world as I see fit and none of you incompetent fools could ever hope to match me!" Watts starts monologuing, firing off his pistols as the others fight the grimm.
"And yet, you still died back on Remnant. Was that part of your plan back then too, or did you need someone else to think it up for you?" Khazhak taunts him.
"Please, that backstabbing idiot, Cinder, left me to die. Luckily, I believed she would betray me, so I had a backup plan," Watts retorts.
"Really, then was it Cinder's plan to attack the void between kingdoms or yours? I'm starting to wonder which of you is the smart one," Edom asks.
"That idiot wanted the relic, but she wanted payback on Ruby Rose more. So, she used the last question of the relic to figure out your plan. Not the wisest move since Salem will learn of her betrayal and make her-," Watts says before realizing he let the cat out of the bag.
"So that's how they did it. Thanks for that. More ammo to divide Salem and Cinder when the time comes," Khazhak smirks.
"Please, I couldn't care less about them at this point. I've grown tired of working with idiots," Watts argues.
"And yet, out of all the people in this world, you partnered with Kilgore," Khazhak notes while crushing the head of a Sabyr with his dragon hand.
Ruby slices the legs off of a running Sabyr, followed by Yang smashing its skull in, "An actual idiot," she deadpans.
"We wondered why that happened," Blake notes, dodging a lunging grimm.
Porphyrius grabs it with his semblance and crushes it into black paste, "But maybe..."
Another Sabyr goes after Weiss, but it gets beheaded by Edom's twin-scythe, "You're not as smart as you think you are, Watts,"
"Not surprising, considering who he works with," Weiss smirks.
"Worse, he doesn't know when he's outmatched. Bahamut!" Khazhak roars.
"Yes!" Bahamut activates the Dragon Spirit, encasing Khazhak in his dragoon armor.
"What?!" Watts is stunned.
"You're not the only one who learned a few tricks since our last meeting, Watts. Before, I only knew how to use the Dragon Spirit. Now, I've mastered it," Khazhak replies.
He charges at Watts, grabbing him by his face and smashing him against the gate. Khazhak throws him to the ground before punting him across the ground. As Watts gets back up, Khazhak plants an armored foot down on his back, grabbing his second pair of arms. He rips them off, making Watts scream in pain. Tossing the torn limbs away, Khazhak grabs Watts by his face and hoists him up.
"You are no match for us. You never were," Khazhak says before throwing him into the air. As Watts falls down, Khazhak throws a supercharged fist into his face, knocking him into the steps of the fountain in the courtyard. "In the end, the only real idiot here besides Kilgore... is you," Khazhak says as everyone stands before Watts.
Watts struggles to his feet, "I'm the one who defeated death by storing my consciousness in cyberspace. I'm the one who found Kilgore wandering around the digital space. I'm the one who came up with the idea for him to trap you all in cyberspace in order to kill you! But he failed, but he's nowhere near as smart as me. I trapped him in that simulation with all of you in order to make sure he killed you all. The fool fell for it," Watts says.
"Is that right?" he hears and looks up to see Kilgore floating above him. "Well then, what do you say we change things up a bit?" he leaves Lantern's body and flies into Watts's while Wonder Woman catches Lantern.
"You told me that I screwed up in the original digital world and that's how I got stuck there!" Kilgore says inside Watts's body.
Watts takes back control, "No, that's not what I meant,"
"You think you're smarter than me?" Kilgore says.
"Of course, I'm smarter than you, you complete imbecile!" and they fight each other for control, only to see them surrounded by the heroes and huntsmen. "You can't do anything to us. You're stuck in here as well! We've won this battle!"
"Oh shut up," Khazhak groans, firing off a strong spark shot that nails Kilgore/Watts to the ground. "The only losers here are you two idiots,"
Batman walks up to Cyborg, "Is it finished now?"
Cyborg smirks and raises his cannon as it glows at aims it at Kilgore/Watts before a bright light erupts from it.
"You think this is a prison? I own this place, Justice League! The longer I'm in here, the stronger I become. Mark my words, I will kill you all!" Kilgore/Watts yell as the holo-trap ends, with them stuck inside it.
…
"Is this real?" Ruby asks.
Everyone find themselves back in the Hall of Justice, in the real world. Teams KEPL and RWBY find themselves back in their Earth appearances.
"Let's hope so," Lantern notes.
"You okay, Jessica?" Flash asks.
"I will be after I take a long, hot shower," Lantern groans, looking exhausted.
"Me too," Wonder Woman agrees.
"Us too," Yang and Lloyd raise their hands.
"But, did we really succeed?" Weiss asks.
Cyborg checks the computer, "We... Yes, we did it!" he cheers, gaining their attention.
"Watts, too? He's stuck in there with Kilgore forever?" Edom asks.
"Yep. Those two will never be able to escape," Cyborg says, much to their joy.
"What about Gotham?" Batman asks.
"And everywhere else?" Superman adds.
Cyborg check the monitor and it shows the other major locations on Earth, "Justice League reserves, report in," he says, and the images show the rest of the world completely free of grimm.
"But... how is that possible?" Flash asks, shocked.
"The grimm must've been fueled by Kilgor and Watts' energies. With them trapped in the holo-trap, the grimm could no longer sustain themselves in our world and dissipated," Batman suspects.
"It's finally over," Khazhak says.
Superman sighs with relief, "We really did it,"
"Yeah! We did it!" Ruby cheers.
They end up taking a victory photo, showing Superman, Cyborg, Ruby, Khazhak in a group hug with an annoyed Batman, Wonder Woman in another group hug with Weiss, Edom, Blake, Canary, and Lloyd. Porphyrius and Yang are seen kissing each other while Flash and Vixen hug Bahamut, and Lantern throws up green confetti and party streamers with her ring.
"Good job moving forward, Flash," Yang says, holding up her fist with Porphyrius.
"Thanks... for setting me straight," Flash fist bumps them both.
Canary tells a story making Blake, Lloyd, Vixen, and Wonder Woman laugh, "And that's my body snatcher story,"
"I'm glad you're feeling better," Weiss says.
"I'm glad you found your home. Both of you," Batman replies, making Weiss and Edom smile.
"You know, people are gonna talk if we keep meeting like this," Khazhak jokes with Ruby and Superman, Bahamut standing next to him.
"Of course, the hardest part is saying goodbye," Ruby notes.
"I second that," Bahamut adds while Lantern creates a portal back to Remnant for them.
Superman laughs, "You guys may be right. Seriously, thank you for everything-," he says before an alarm cuts him off.
Cyborg checks the monitor, "Seems Luthor is trying to make up for lost time now that the grimm are gone. Nature returns to normal, so to speak," he smirks.
"Time to go, Justice League," Superman declares as they all get ready for a new mission. "You guys will be alright?" he asks Teams RWBY and KEPL.
They all turn to them, "I think we'll be just fine," Ruby replies.
"Take care, Justice League," Khazhak bids them farewell.
The Justice League head out to begin a new mission. Meanwhile, Teams RWBY and KEPL head through the portal back to their home, Remnant. Two groups of special people. Warriors from two different worlds, but both with the same purpose. To protect their worlds and those that live in them from the forces of evil. As they always have. As Heroes and Huntsmen.

And that's the chapter and the story. I really like these movies. Personally, I think I like the first movie a little more, but both are still awesome. Another story I enjoyed writing. Teams RWBY, KEPL, and the Justice League succeed in defeating Watts and Kilgore and save Earth. The two teams head back home while the Justice League continue to protect their own.
