Meet my court.
After such an eventful evening Mamoru was glad it was a Saturday, and he could sense that Usagi was
still sleeping soundly. Unfortunately, Mamoru had arrived home to a hornets nest last night and had to
clean up after ignoring people for too long.
Arriving home from the embassy Mamoru found four angry guards and two very pissed off sisters all
waiting for him. Luckily, he looked exhausted enough that they let him go straight to bed with promises
that he had not heard the end of it. So, after the sun shining through his window woke him up. He
showered and got dressed to face the music.
Nathan had made breakfast while Kevin and Kat paced as they waited for him to rise to face them.
"Endymion Mamoru Rhea! Do you realize that you have had all of us blocked for almost a month?"
He put his hand behind his head and laughed, "Has it really been that long? I guess I have been pretty
busy." Skirting the crowd in his living room he reached for a cup of coffee.
"Rhea, I am sure he has a good reason for all of this." The ever calm Nathan reasoned as he flipped
another egg.
"It better not be because he ignored all of our warnings and has been digging himself in a proverbial
hole?" Zach stated sternly while glaring at his friend. Roselyn sat quietly letting her sister and Zach do
the dirty work. Jason just kept his head down using eating as a reason as to not participate in the
scolding.
Nathan, turning around with a plate full of pancakes, smiled and said, "How about we let the prince have
some breakfast and gather his thoughts before we interrogate him?"
After everyone had eaten something they spread out around the living room and all faced the elephant
in the room named Mamoru. "What can I say? The bond was stronger than expected, especially after she
transformed into Sailor Moon."
Katherine kicked herself she had forgotten to brief the others on that small development. "There is no
sailor guardian of the moon." Five voices chorused.
"Apparently Lady Luna has not recovered all her memories yet and mistook the princess as a guardian.
But that is neither here nor there. Endy, you said you would stay away from her or atleast keep past and
present separated."
Mamoru stood up with his cup of coffee and walked over to look out the balcony door. "We kept
running into each other, as if drawn together by the bond. It was almost daily I would literally have her
run into me and then she started asking questions and one thing led to another."
"How much does she know? How much does she remember?" Kat pushed.
"Mostly about her life on the moon, our relationship and… I may have told her about our family." He
answered while taking a big long swig of coffee. After swallowing he quickly turned and blurted out,
"And the enemy has clones of the generals fighting for them."
A round of curses filled the room. The scolding and interrogation falling to the back burner for the
moment. "Well, that complicates things, " Jason said as if no one else had figured it out.
"So, far only Sailor Moon, Mercury and Mars have joined up with Luna." Mamoru continued, happy that
the discussion was no longer centered on him. He only prayed that he could keep them distracted long
enough that they forgot why they were so upset with him.
The morning sun soon settled into the afternoon as plans were made. The generals were no longer to
join Mamoru in Tokyo as the clone situation made it too complicated and could easily turn the moon
court against the Earth guardians. So instead in the fall after Mamoru's birthday Roselyn would join him
to help "Keep him out of trouble" as Katherine had put it.
Unable to escape his guards or sisters he resigned to the fact that this weekend would be the first since
their first date that would be spent apart. *Usako, I miss you. Sadly, I am not going to be able to see you
this weekend.*
Usagi felt Mamoru reach for her telepathically as she sat in the shrine listening to Rei and Luna go off on
her regarding how careless she was being after Luna had caught her and Tuxedo Mask cuddling on the
bench the previous night. *I understand. I don't think Luna is going to let me out of her sight for a while
either.*
They both mentally smiled as they sat in similar predicaments. Roselyn quietly joined her brother on the
balcony, "What is Sere like in this time? And you mentioned the guardians but not Tranq, does that
mean…" She trailed off.
Mamoru smiled at his younger sister who was very similar in appearance to their older sister but
personality were almost the other end of the spectrum. "Sere? She hasn't changed. She is still beautiful,
loving, kind and the light of any planet or plane of existence."
Roselyn elbowed her brother, "Not what I meant. I know you are still head over heels for her I could
sense that as soon as I was close enough to sense you. What about Tranq?"
"I don't know. Honestly, I am not sure if Usagi remembers her twin. She hasn't mentioned him but I
know he was in a dream we had several weeks ago. I know that if the Queen sent Sere and the girls here
that she wouldn't have left her son behind, but as to where or who he is I don't know."
Roselyn sighed she knew this was a possibility but still she had hoped the lunar twins would be together.
"Maybe, Kat can find him." Mamoru shrugged and shoulder hugged his sister knowing how she felt. He
had felt the same way before he had reconnected with Usagi.
Finally It was Monday and Mamoru was free from his gilded guarded cage. Roselyn had to return home
for classes and the generals were tied up with applications they couldn't be in the same district but being
closer to the prince in case of trouble, that they could do.. Mamoru was grinning on his way to school
any excuse to get away from the hoard. He had missed his time with Usagi but they had kept in touch
telepathically and to her credit she was getting really good at it. Very few people could use telepathy
around Zach or Katherine without the link being discovered. Mamoru had to be extra aware on his end
but for her to be able to search a room for him and not set off the alarms he was impressed.
Mamoru's smile grew as his girlfriend rounded the corner and he opened his arms to swallow her up. He
pulled back and gave her a loving kiss before saying, "Good Morning, I am sorry I wasn't available this
weekend but hopefully we can meet up for a walk in the park later."
"We could. Or maybe you could introduce me to a couple of your guests before they all disappear." Usagi
teased.
"Disappear? I wish." Mamoru laughed. "Well, you already know Kat, but I will see if a couple of them can
meet us for a smoothie after school if you really want to meet them."
"I will be expecting them at the smoothie shop by the arcade no later than 4pm. " She said, kissing his
cheek and continuing on her way to school. *Scout Meeting.* She told him answering the puzzled look
as to why they would be meeting up so late.
"Usako, can we maybe meet up somewhere different?"
Usagi shrugged she didn't know what difference it would make but not sure of why it seemed so
important that they not meet there and he was blocking her as she probed his mind for an answer. "I
guess so."
"Great, I will have Kat pick you up after school in her car." He said as he now had to run if he was going to
make it to school on time. Usagi shrugged before she looked at her watch and high tailed it to class.
Later that afternoon
Katherine sat in her new red sports car outside of Juban Junior High. Mamoru had contacted her earlier
and asked her to pick up Usagi and meet him and the generals at a restaurant in Tokyo Midtown. She
agreed partially because she could rarely say no to her brother. Soon she saw the blonde girl with the
unmistakable hairstyle. Katherine waved and Usagi made her way over. "Hey, Rhea. Thanks for the lift."
"No problem, Usa." Katherine said getting into the car.
Usagi opened the door and got into the passenger side. Noticing the leather seats with temperature
controls, sunroof, built-in GPS and a sound system of dreams. 'Wow! The family must be loaded to be
able to afford a car like this.' Usagi thought as she buckled herself in. "Where are we going? Mamo-chan
didn't mention where we were meeting everyone?"
"Oh, he actually left it up to me."Katherine answered as she put the car into gear and pulled out onto the
road. "I always wanted to try this cafe in Tokyo Midtown called Ukafe. The boys will meet us there."
"Boys? I guess that makes sense."
"What makes senses, princess?" Katherine asked as she turned onto Roppongi.
"That most of Mamo-chan's friends would also be, well boys. And why did you call me princess?" Usagi
asked, now scared she had said something wrong or out of line.
'I guess she doesn't remember my past life. Guess I should rip off the bandaid.' Katherine said to herself
before taking a deep breath. " I called you "Princess" because you are a princess. I am not only Mamoru's
sister in this life. I was Endymion's sister back in the Silver Millennium as well." Although it wasn't her
desired effect it effectively made Usagi mute for most of the rest of the trip.
In Usagi's mind
Serenity and the Senshi had made their way to Earth and were in the gardens when a tall girl in boys'
clothes entered the garden. Her dark hair was short and pulled into two ponytails. "Greetings, Princess. I
didn't know that we had any guests." Serenity smiled shyly at the older girl, as both knew that there was
no "official" visit and that they had snuck out.
A couple years later the same girl dressed in a dress this time saying loudly, "No, I have not seen
Endymion. He must have gone off with the generals again." As Serenity and Endymion were just outside
on the balcony behind her.
Back in the present
Katherine pulled into the mall parking lot and parked. "Usagi? Usagi, are you ok?" She paused waiting
for an answer. "Endy, may kill me for this one."
"Rin? Princess Katherine Rhea of Earth? My sister even before Endymion and I…" Usagi broke from her
silence in shock that one of her closest confidants was there and she didn't know it.
"Good. So you do remember me and Endy won't kill me for breaking you." Katherine laughed as she
hugged the younger girl before they both unbuckled and got out of the car. "I didn't mean to shock you
like that I thought from what Endy had said you remembered more then I guess you did." Usagi just
smiled and gave Katherine another hug before taking her hand and motioning for them to head into the
mall.
As they made their way closer to the cafe Katherine stopped dead and it was Usagi's turn to ask if she
was ok. "Rin?" She asked, waving her hand in front of her face. "Rin, what's wrong?"
Katherine looked down with a serious look on her face as she had just pierced together something very,
very big. "Usa, did Mamoru tell you who we were meeting up with?"
Usagi shook her head, "No. Why?"
"I think we need to talk before we get there and you need to sit down." Katherine said motioning to a
bench they had just walked by. "I am guessing but has Endy shared our family's gift with you?"
telepathy?*
Katherine could tell that she was right her brother had used telepathy with Usagi by the look on her face.
Yes. I can and have been using telepathy with Mamo-chan. Why?*
'Well at least this will make it easier.' Katherine thought before opening her mind to explain. " Do you
remember Endymion's guard?" She asked knowing that if anyone heard it wouldn't sound that weird.
There was a pause and Usagi's face went pale as her eyes glazed over and she passed out. 'That would
be why I suggested she sit down.' *Endy, good news. Usagi and I are in the mall.*
Mamoru and the boys were just outside the cafe waiting for Katherine and Usagi when he heard his
sister talking to him telepathically. Looking at his friends faces he knew she wasn't keeping it between
the two of them. Sighing he asked, *and?* he asked waiting for the other shoe.
Katherine smirked slightly uncomfortable, *Keep in mind this is as much my fault as it is yours.*
Mamoru was getting annoyed with his sister, *Spit it out before I find you and rip it out of you.*
Sighing she continued, *You never told her who we were meeting and so when I asked if she
remembered…*
Mamoru didn't bother to let his sister finish as he bolted in the direction his bond with Usagi was pulling
him. He hadn't thought of that. The boys looked more modern than their clones but there was enough
there, 'I am such an baka!' He thought as he mentally kicked himself while rounding the corner to find
Katherine holding up a newly awakened Usagi. "She is fine. Our princess just had a bit of a fainting spell.
Help me get her to the cafe and a smoothie and something sweet and she will be right as rain."
Mamoru picked Usagi up bridal style which as much as she wanted to walk she was too weak from
fainting to fight him as he carried her down the mall corridors. "I am so sorry, Usako. I should have been
the one to think of that. I mean after the embassy and everything."
"It is ok. It was just a couple more shocks than I thought I would have today." Usagi said giving in and
wrapping her arms around his neck and giving him a kiss on the cheek , letting him know all was
forgiven.
The four teenagers looked up as the trio walked up. Usagi looked them over different hair cuts and
modern clothes but she could see the resemblance from the newly discovered enemies and the four
teenagers before her. "It is nice to meet you again. I had envisioned to be on my own feet but what is a
princess to do?" She said hoping to lighten the mood.
The tension that the group had been engrossed in quickly dissipated when they realized that Usagi was
ok and ok with the generals. Mamoru put her down so they could all enter the cafe and find a table. The
group spent the afternoon laughing and getting to know each others' present selves.
