In the kitchen, Adele was cooking pasta and chicken soup, while Sookie and Eliza were still talking about their situations. She understands the two need to talk with each other to learn and know each other a little more, so she would give that privacy to them.

Sookie noticed her grandmother was not with them anymore, she figured she might be in the kitchen so she entered the kitchen and greeted her with a hug, "Hey gran, what are you doing?"

Adele smiled, "I'm cooking pasta and chicken soup, your favorite food, my dear. Eliza, would you like to eat something too before you leave?" Adele called Eliza after Eliza walked into the kitchen.

"That's okay, meine Enkelin. I'm not hungry. I will have to get going soon since it's almost dawn. I will get sleepy during that time. Sookie, I am honored for your exception of my offering but I would like to inform you that you would need to travel with me to Georgia since I would like to bury you there where I am residing. It would be more pleasant because I am residing around the forest, and the smell would give it more life and divinity once you rise. Would you travel with me to my residence, my child?" Eliza asks in a warm tone.

'Georgia? I would love to travel around the place since I was little! But then, I don't want to leave my gran by herself without anyone home with her,' Sookie thought.

"I would love to travel since I was a little girl, but I don't want to leave my gran to stay by herself. Would it be okay for me to call my brother to let him know? So he won't have to blame me for leaving my gran alone if anything happens," Sookie asks Eliza to make sure she understands.

Eliza smiled and assured her, "Yes, you may, my dear."

"Hello Jase, I have to go somewhere before dawn arises. Can you take care of gran in my place?"

"Hey Sook, where are you going, girl? How long will you be gone?" Jason replied.

"I have to go to Georgia with our relative. I don't know how long I will be able to come back. It's important Jase, please understand. So please take care of gran in my place. Do not let anyone harm her. Do you hear me?" Sookie claims in a strict tone.

"Yes, mom. But why Georgia? Why so far? Who is this relative that you are talking about?" Jason declared.

"She's our ancestor – immortal ancestor. It's a long story, Jason. I have to go now, it's almost dawn. You can catch up with gran," Sookie replied hurriedly as Eliza was getting up to leave.

"Alright then. Be safe on your journey there, Sook. And don't cause trouble like you usually do, alright?"

"'kay, bye Jason. Love ya," Sookie hangs up after the reply.

Sookie looks at Eliza as she stands, and then she scurries upstairs to her room after stating, "I need to pack my things before we go. Where are we staying tonight, Eliza?"

"We will stay in one of my safehouses in Shreveport," Eliza replied.

"You have a house in Louisiana? Wow!"

Eliza chuckles, "Yes, meine Liebe, I do. I have a close friend in Shreveport, but we're not going to visit him right now. We need to rest. Little one, we will leave tomorrow night as I will have to visit him after he rises. Is that okay with you, my child?"

"Yes Eliza, it's okay. I'm just surprised that you have a friend here too. Is it okay if I would like to go with you?" She shyly asks.

Eliza softly touches Sookie's cheeks, and says in a warming tone, "It's okay, dear one. You don't have to be embarrassed and yes, you may come with me, my dear," she smiled.

Sookie looked up at Eliza with sparkling eyes and smiled widely, then ran to hug Eliza tightly. Eliza paused and then relaxed and hugged back, "Thank you," Sookie said softly.

'Ah, I guess vampires are not used to physical touch then, or should I say, a faery vampire?' Sookie thought internally, then went upstairs to pack up.

"This is your car, Eliza?" Sookie stares dazedly at the red fancy SUV minivan in front of her house driveway.

Eliza amused, chuckled, "Yes, little one, this is one of my cars that I traveled around with. Sookie, do you have your driver's license yet?"

"Yes, I received my driver's license a few months back. Why?" Sookie asked.

"Good. I would like to give you one of my cars as a gift. Before you reject my offer, I would like to say that it will be convenient for you to travel around on your own. Cars are easier and safer than riding a bus Sookie," Eliza demands in a soft but firm voice, saying that she's not up for arguments.

"Okay, thank you, Eliza," Sookie submits quietly.

Once again, Sookie is fascinated with what she sees in front of her. A huge with trees surrounding the area and a fountain in the front yard of the authority property inside is fancy with pictures hanging on walls that are made of wood. The home looks like the seventies or eighties with old antiques on shelves. The indoor hallway has a vinyl pool that is 40 feet long. Sookie is so amazed that she loses track of where she is walking, finally, she hears a voice calling out for her.

"Little one, come, let me take you to your room. Come, it's upstairs," Eliza leads her.

'Oh My God! Heaven's sake!'

"This is my room?" Sookie asks in a soft astonished voice, not knowing how to react.

Eliza quietly chuckles at the gazed little girl, while she takes Sookie's suitcase to the room, "Yes, my child, if this will be your room for tonight. You may rest now as I will have my rest in my resting room. We will visit my close companion once he rises tomorrow night. I will see you in the afternoon, my dear. I'm not usually a morning person, so if I do get up around that time, that means I have a pull to wake up early. Well, I'm going to rest now. Good night, my child," Eliza softly kissed Sookie's forehead before leaving the room, looked back at Sooke, and smiled warmly before closing the door.

Sookie sighs and goes into downtime, lying on a queen-sized bed, then falls into a pool of thoughts in her head,' What a weird but eventful evening tonight. Eliza is a great immortal being. Never thought I would have an immortal relative in my existence. Since she also inherited a telepath ability like me, that means she was able to read my mind then. Oh my god! She must have heard my thoughts! But she hardly showed any reaction to my train of thought though, so she has a high wall of shielding her mind. Hopefully, I get a lesson on how to shield my wall too.'

She yawns as she's in her thoughts, and then slowly, a nightly sky pulls her into closing her eyes. She then goes into a dreamless sleep.

Sookie had never felt so refreshed since the morning as now. She woke up, feeling enthusiastic and full of energy like she had never experienced her whole life. She wakes up for breakfast, cleans her bed, and uses the restroom, as expected once she enters the bathroom to shower she sees a bathtub that can fit 5 people in size.

Walking downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast, she meets a man looking around his mid-twenties, 6'0 feet tall, muscular, dark brown hair with a husband feature coming near her, and greeting, "Good morning, Miss Stackhouse. My name is Connor Brown, I am instructed to be at your service to your shopping for this morning."

Sookie knows she will need to buy more clothes and supplies as she only brought certain clothes and necessities, she takes her hand out to shake and greets, "Hi Connor, you may call me Sookie. May I ask you some questions about Eliza, if you don't mind?"

"No ma'am, I don't mind answering. What would you like to know about her, Miss– Sookie?" Connor replies, smiling.

"What is Eliza like? You seem to respect her a lot, I see," Sookie implies.

"Yes I do, Miss Artois is an honorable lady. She respects all of her employees and gives fair payment to everyone under her service in favors," Connor answers with pride when talking about his boss.

Sookie felt his honesty as she tested him while he answered her question. She can see how much the man and the people honored Eliza with a huge amount of respect with the same treatment they received from her, however, there are some levels that these people can't cross and that is her rules and personal space which she understands because Eliza seems to be a secretive and private being from the sense she felt from Eliza in their first encountering.

Connor added, "But there are some rules that you cannot break or cross, Miss–uh, Sookie. Miss Artois is a very secretive person if you step over her boundaries, you may end up in a severe situation. She is also not a very physically touchy type of person, you can touch her hand for a handshake, but any intimate touching would not be on her radar. But she has the capacity for love and affection towards her family and bloodline though. I think I may have said too much already. We have to get you shopping, Sookie. It looks like you are done with your breakfast, Miss Stackhouse. We may go now."

Sookie quickly went to the sink and washed her dishes, "Alright, I'm ready, let's go."

Eliza began to rise as it became afternoon now. She quickly opens her eyes and gets out of bed, goes to the bathroom showers at vampire speed. She can smell Sookie has already arrived from her necessity. She got dressed, and then speedily went downstairs to the living room.

"Good afternoon, little one. Did you have a pleasurable morning?" Eliza warmly greeted Sookie, who was on the couch watching television.

Sookie turned around and greeted her back, "Good afternoon, Eliza. Yes, I have a very good morning today. Connor is very kind and took good care of me. You have a good day man, Eliza. I enjoyed my time with him very much." Sookie smiles, then turns back to watch television.

"Thank you, Connor, you may leave now," Eliza gently sent Connor out. He bowed to her and then left.

"So tell me about your day, my child. What did you buy?" Eliza asks Sookie as she walks to the kitchen to make herself breakfast.

"My day was good. I talked with Connor a lot about random stuff on our way back. He's a very loyal and respectable day man, I like him a lot. I bought some clothes and some necessary necessities and also have bought some books to read while we transport to Georgia tonight. Eliza, you have very loyal employees at your property. They are also very kind and respect you a lot," Sookie says enthusiastically.

Eliza stands tall, taking in the pride, and smiles at Sookie, "Thank you, meine kind. Is there anything else that you want or need to know before we go visit my companion tonight and then take a flight?" Eliza knows that Sookie wants to know more about her, so she will tell Sookie all that she needs to know. She will likely let Sookie know about blood bonds, ties, and mating since it is necessary for Sookie to know about them after she turns.

Sookie takes in the question, and then she declares, "Yes Eliza, I would like to know more about you and my ancestors. I would like to know how you were related to me. I remember you said you were Niall Brigant's cousin, but how though? You seem to be centuries old. Is Niall over a thousand years old then?"

"Yes, Niall is 1,800 years old in Faery Realm. I am 2,016 years old. You may call me a distant relative as to how I am related to you. I am a Fire Faery and a Vampire. How did I turn into a vampire? I was born a hybrid since birth," Eliza replied.

Sookie looked at Eliza, confused, so she added, "My father is a vampire and my mother is a faery vampire hybrid like me. My father turned me once I reached my maturity. I was born a hybrid since birth because my mother impregnated me with the magic of my father's sperm that she spelled. My mother and father are what humans call, 'soulmates'."

Sookie is intrigued, so she listens intently as Eliza continues, "They bonded with each other 3 times, in a human way, it's called 'marriage', but it's deeper and stronger than human relationships and marriages. When humans divorce, break up, or break off from one another, although they may be heartbroken and sad at first, they can still live a normal life. But when vampires or faeries break that mated bond that they have, it may have a very severe effect on them, especially for species like faeries."

"Faeries are emotional-type of creatures, they feel strongly and hold onto their kins endearingly. It may cause suicidal effects for vampires and faeries if the mated bond is broken because a mate bond is a string that ties the mates together to bond with each other. When you are binding your strings together, you become each other's halves. When that bond is broken between two mates, both will feel an empty void to their non-beating and beating hearts. That's why it's very important not to object to or deny your mate's bond so it won't occur in that incident," Eliza said thoroughly for Sookie to understand.

It caught Sookie's attention about bonds and mates, she never imagined that mates to supernatural creatures are so special in a way that can be caused into life and death situations. She wonders if she will encounter that situation, she hopes not. In fact, she won't deny the mate bond, however, she knows there are downsides to this blood-bonding effect too without love, there will not be a commitment and devotion to the relationship, human or non-human, which can turn into an artificial bonding which will be a dark side of the effect.

Then curiosity occurs to her, and she asks, "Will you be able to feel or know right away when you meet your mate? Because humans find it hard to find their specific mates, it takes them a very long time to finally find their other halves. Some human beings even marry someone who is not their soulmate because they are getting tired of seeking and waiting to find the special one to them."

Eliza hides her surprise with her acknowledgment of this smart, unpredictable, astonishing young girl, and answers forwardly, "Yes, my child. We are able to feel our mates once we encounter them right away. We have, what you call, a radar, that makes us feel our other halves once we meet them. My child, other than mate bonds, I would also like to talk about blood bonds, ties, and more specific information on mate bonds."

Sookie is interested in this topic, Eliza starts, "When a vampire bonds with a human, they have to feed at the same time to create a bond. A bond has to be done three times in the process for it to become permanent and in that process, intimate interactions may be involved. When taking vampire blood, you might feel sexual in the process of bonding, as long as your feelings are content with the specific vampire, an intimate moment may not get in the way of bonding."

"A bond between a vampire and a fairy may be intense because both of these creatures are sexual creatures so when you turn, your emotions will enhance. As I told you fairies are emotional creatures, they feel strongly, but once you turn, you will become a hybrid. As a hybrid, I will teach you how to control your emotions so you won't get overpowered by them," Eliza assured.

Sookie asks, "So when taking vampire blood, we will feel our libido stronger? Are there any positives and negatives in taking vampire blood? And is this why you said blood is sacred? Because it's special but dangerous and personal at the same time?"

Eliza answers, "Yes, vampire blood will make you enhance your strength, vision, and hearing abilities. It can also heal your wounds. And yes, my child, it can make your libido grow stronger. Also, the vampire can feel your emotions and know where you find you when in danger. The downside of taking vampire blood is that the vampire is able to control and manipulate your emotions into feeling things that are not truly yours, that is called 'blood slave'. Blood tie is similar to a blood slave, however, blood ties can be positive too depending on which vampire gives you their blood. Blood bond is when a vampire and human share their blood with each other, both sides will be able to feel each other's emotions."

Eliza looks at the contemplating girl, and informs, "Sookie, you must know that when I become your Maker, you will share a bond with me. I will be able to control and command you to do some things you may not want to do. But I will never control nor command you unless it is necessary to do so. You will still be your own person but you may adopt similar personalities from me based on my teaching. Would you be okay with that, little one?"

Sookie contemplates again weighing the pros and cons, and then she answers, "Yes, I am okay about that. Thank you for letting me know beforehand, Eliza. I am honored to become your progeny, master." She bows respectfully to Eliza.

Eliza paused and then caressed Sookie's cheeks softly, and kissed her forehead. Eliza feels honored to be respected by this young girl. She vowed to herself that she would never let anything or anyone harm her or hurt her, or else they would suffer a slow death under her wrath.

"I will never let any harm come to you, my child. I will protect you, guide you, and teach you with everything that I know. You will be my daughter, my sister, and my mother as I am to you throughout our journey to eternity," Eliza says to Sookie in a soft, warming voice. She promises Sookie by bringing her hands to Sookie and touching her fingers, and an energy of light forged through Eliza's arm. An oath is formed.

A fascinated Sookie looked on quietly, Eliza confessed, "An oath was formed, meine kind. I made my promise to you. If I break my promise, my true death will be the result." Eliza then kissed Sookie softly on the forehead.

Sookie quietly nodded.
