"System, start simulation!"

[Ding! Starting simulation. Simulation performed.]

With that, a scroll with a note attached to it appeared in my hands. The note was in english and said:
'This is a storage scroll containing 6 storage areas. The first 3 storage areas contain my diaries and a tl;dr version of my life. The 4th storage area contains 3 books I wrote on chakra control. the books have a suggested schedule for learning, to take you from beginner to master. The 5th storage area contains some small objects needed for some of the chakra control exercises, and the 6th contains a bo staff for children. To remove what's inside a storage area, place your hand on the circle underneath it and insert chakra into it. To store them back, put the objects on top of the storage area, and insert chakra into the square underneath it.'

So sending storage scrolls also works. This way I can send back a lot more things, as long as I am able to hide them.

I opened the storage scroll and it had 6 similar designs on it. I put my hand on the circle next to the first one and focused on moving my chakra through that hand. With a puff of smoke, 6 books and a booklet appeared. the 6 books were diaries, and the 7th was a tl;dr booklet summarizing all the diaries. I started reading the booklet.

My simulated life was pretty much me creating a long list of potential chakra control exercises, joining the academy at 5, asking my mother for more chakra control exercises, looking in the academy library for chakra control exercises, graduating at 12, getting a jonin sensei, training and doing D and C rank missions, none of which were turned into B or A rank missions. I kept learning chakra exercises from my jonin instructor and inventing and experimenting with new ones. At 15, I took the chunin exam in Konoha and passed, but my teammates didn't. I kept working with my previous team, taking mostly C rank missions, and one B rank mission. A year and a half after that, during Orochimaru's invasion, I made sure to be on patrol on the border with river country. I returned home after the invasion and helped with cleaning. I found out I had a water affinity with an earth secondary affinity. I started taking tutoring missions, helping academy students with their training. This way I could see which chakra control exercises worked on beginners. The rest of the time I was either working as a guard on the Konoha wall, or training. I commissioned the storage scroll at this point. During Pain's attack I made sure to be in a corner of the village from which I could easily escape. Everyone probably taught I died in the attack. Even if Pain revived everyone, some of those were under destroyed buildings, and died again immediately after being revived. I took a detour through the sea to lose my scent and then I went to the land of tea, grew a beard, got a different haircut, and settled in a remote village where I lived for the rest of my life. I had a wife and 3 kids which I trained, especially in chakra control. Years passed, and I then had grandkids. I kept training and experimenting over the years. I never saw another shinobi for the rest of my life. I died at 76 years old.

After finishing, I took the first diary and started reading:
'September 30th year 66,
Today I came up with about 100 possible chakra control exercises. I spent about 6 hours experimenting with them. After asking my mom, she gave me another 2 that are apparently useful for kids. I managed to stick a piece of paper to my hand, a smaller piece to my forehead, and then to each of my fingers. then tried heavier objects, experimented like this for about 6 hours.
October 1st year 66,
After practicing my taijutsu with my mother again, I continued to experiment with...'

I stopped reading and decided to check the other storage areas. In total I had 17 diaries to read, and knew I couldn't finish reading these in just a month, and with each simulation I would probably have more diaries to read from the other simulations. The 4th storage area stored 3 books. In total, the books contained about 5000 exercises with details and hints, each to be performed 1000 times. The amount of time to finish the books estimated in the schedule was 3 decades. I really needed to learn the shadow clone jutsu at some point, or my learning speed would not be enough. The 5th storage area just contained a box of random objects, like a few balls, a small stick, some coloured rice, some balloons, so I'm assuming learning the rasengan can also be considered a chakra control exercise.

I spent the next 4 hours training my chakra control according to the schedule, and the next 2 reading from the diaries, with a break for some food. Then I had to find a place to hide the storage scroll. Luckily, cleaning my room was my responsibility, so I could safely hide it in there. I hid it at the bottom of a box of toys underneath my bed and went outside to do some running.

We lived in the outskirts of the village, where the population wasn't so dense. The backyard connected to a forest, and not far inside the forest was a clearing that my mother uses for training on her days off, and where I used to play occasionally. I went there with the ball I got for my birthday, and started running. When I got bored of just running, I started playing with the ball, might as well have some fun while exercising. When it was getting close to the time my mother should come home, I went back home to spend some time with her.

I spent the rest of the month in the same way, adding some senbon training that I asked my mother to teach me. Near the end of the month I started thinking what I should spend my next simulation on. I wanted the simulations to be different from each other. I had a choice between medical jutsu, sensing, fuuinjutsu and genjutsu. Fuuinjutsu was very useful, but resources were a bit harder to acquire, so that was out, leaving only medical jutsu, sensing and genjutsu. I finally settled on sensing. I already knew from the diaries what books the academy had, and there was very little on sensing, so I wasn't going to become a ninja in the next simulation. I would have to learn from my mother's knowledge and through experimentation.

On the 30th day, I heard the long awaited sound:

[Ding! Host has received 1 simulation opportunity. Next simulation opportunity will be received in 30 days.]
