"System, set the following simulation prompt: 'In my next simulation, I want to join the academy and become a ninjutsu master, focusing on jutsu theory and jutsu creation, while hiding most of my skills. Leave the village during Pain's attack and focus on learning as much as possible about jutsus and chakra, and create as many jutsus as possible, while creating learning materials for ninjutsu and chakra theory.'"
[Ding! Prompt set.]
"Ok system, start simulation"
[Ding! Starting simulation. Simulation performed.]
A small ring appeared in my hand. It contained a small scroll, a booklet, multiple books and a lot of valuables. The ring had an "erase" function, which would remove all the fuuinjutsu from it, turning it into a normal ring. I transferred everything to my main ring and "erased" the fuuinjutsu. I didn't want too many objects that were entangled to myself, in case there was a way to use the entanglement against me. The fuuinjutsu was hidden either way, but better safe than sorry.
I started reading the booklet and understood what the scroll was for. It was basically an "upgrade" to my Mindscape Library. I put it over my stomach and inserted chakra. Now my library contained the diaries from this simulation and the books that I added. The diaries and books also came in physical form with the ring. There were 4 jutsu books with about 500 books each. So 2000 jutsus in total, about 1500 of which were created by me. Creating about 1500 jutsus in 100 years meant creating an average of 15 jutsus a year. Skimming the books showed that most jutsus were E-rank jutsus, like a jutsu for lighting a small fire, a jutsu for washing dishes, a jutsu for drying dishes, a jutsu for washing clothes, a jutsu for drying clothes and so on. There were a lot of day to day jutsus.
Taking the tl;dr version of the diaries, I started reading. With time dilation of course. I started my sixth simulation by learning the 3 academy jutsus, and reading what I had inside my library about chakra theory. After 2 months I tried attempting the shadow clone jutsu. Thanks to my Hidden Yin Seal, I had enough chakra. It only took me 1 hour to master, thanks to my Nootropic Mode. I now had 4 jutsus under my belt, all of which I could remember perfectly thanks to my eidetic memory.
I continued with learning the jutsus, the next one being the shunshin. I would also train my water affinity and chakra control. After 3 months from starting the simulation, when it came time to join the academy, I knew the 3 academy jutsus, the shadow clone jutsu and the shunshin, while also being pretty advanced with my water affinity thanks to shadow clones and mental enhancements. 2 months after joining the academy, I learned my first elemental jutsu, the water bullet jutsu. I kept progressing like this, learning various jutsus, and training my affinities.
At 8 years old, I created my first jutsu, a small fire above one of my fingers, that could be used as a lighter. The second was at 8 and 2 months, a fiery fart jutsu. It was useless of course. The third was a water whip. I kept creating a lot of jutsu, and learning the jutsus from my library. I got very proficient with hand signs and their effects. I also asked my mother what jutsus she knew. I needed a jutsu that I had an excuse of knowing. My mother's affinity was water, and she knew the water bullet jutsu. I asked her to teach me. I pretended to struggle a lot with it. I kept progressing like this.
When the time for the graduation came, I already knew 60 jutsus, 16 of which were my creation. I pretended only to know the academy 3, the water bullet jutsu and wall walking. Me and my team passed the jonin test, so we started doing D rank missions. I used these missions as inspiration for my new jutsus. I invented a water spray jutsu, a jutsu that would shoot a small stream of water from my finger, another version of the same jutsu where it would shoot a small stream of water from another place, to fake peeing. I doubt I would ever use a lot of these jutsus.
I also spent a lot of time in the genin section of the library. There were a lot of E-rank and D-rank jutsus there. I had a lot of fun learning them. Since I could use my eidetic memory, I would pretend to skim a few of them until reading a theory scroll, then I would go home and practice the jutsus I memorized. This way I recorded a big portion of the genin section of the library.
The jutsus I wanted to recreate the most were the Nara jutsus. They turned out to create the biggest problems. I watched the Naras in the academy when they performed their family jutsus, and memorized the hand signs, and experimented with thoese hand signs. I also practiced a shadow kasina meditation, basically looking at a round shadow on the floor and meditating with time dilation. At 13, I managed to move my shadow a little bit. Without my shadow clones and time dilation, this would have taken decades, so while not a kekkei genkai, it would take too long for anyone not a Nara to learn, time that would be more effective learning something else. I suspected the Naras have been focused so much with shadow manipulation over the years, that their body adapted and they gain a sort of shadow affinity naturally, instead of needing decades to learn to manipulate shadows that a normal person would need. I however used the shadows differently, like for hiding during the night. Combining shadow manipulation with the shunshin gave a cool effect.
At 14, we joined the chunin exams. Me and one of my teammates passed. We continued to do D-rank and C-rank missions. I also continued to learn and create new jutsus. I managed to develop a better theory about jutsu creation and hand signs, and a system for reverse engineering a jutsu. I would start from the chakra that I theorized that I needed from a jutsu, and from that come up with a set of hand signs that would take me the closest to what I needed. Then it would be much easier to mold that chakra and perform the jutsu. At 14 and a half, my last teammate managed to become a chunin.
There were 2 and a half years left until Orochimaru's invasion. I kept memorizing as much as I could of the library, while learning and creating new jutsus. At 16, I managed to tweak the shadow clone jutsu so that it wouldn't return the chakra back to the user after dispelling. This had the downside of not returning the memories, but I could now take more risks with using body altering jutsus. Before, for example, if I had a clone absorb nature chakra and it turned to stone, it would probably dispell and the nature chakra would flood my sistem, turning me to stone. Now that wouldn't be a risk. Not that I wanted to test sage mode, but I wanted to see if I could use shadow manipulation to turn my body into shadows temporarily. At almost 17, I finally managed to turn my body into shadows. The biggest benefit of this was that it made me intangible. Combining this with the shunshin had another benefit. If I was, for example, in front of a door, I could shunshin inside the house through the keyhole. I only needed a little space in order to pass to the other side.
When I was 17, I was one of the proctors during the first phase of the chunin exam. Then the day of the attack finally came. I made sure to be in a somewhat remote area away from important buildings inside the village where the enemy nin might want to attack, and close to an evacuation shelter. During the first half of the invasion I helped the civilians to rhe shelter, and afterwards I hid between some trees. When an enemy nin approached that was alone, I would jump in and fight them, hitting them with my senbon with sleeping poison. Then I would tie them up and hide again. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the healing factor from my Hidden Yin Seal, in case a Yamanaka would look through my enemy's mind. If they saw me healing at incredible speeds, that would raise suspicion. So I had to be extra careful when fighting my enemies. Though fighting with the Nootropic Mode on was a huge advantage for me. After the fight was over, I took the 5 enemies I captured to the first junin I saw. I was asked to take them to T&I. Then I got home and wrote my report about what I did during the invasion.
After the invasion, I helped with the reconstruction, while also inventing construction jutsus. This was a lot of fun. I managed to create a mini-jutsu for every possible situation related to construction. If I didn't have to hide my abilities, and could use all my jutsus and shadow closes, I could probably build a house in about two hours. I couldn't do that unfortunately.
After everything settled down, We started taking C-rank missions and even some B-rank missions. Luckily I didn't have to kill anyone. I kept going to the library and learning jutsus, and experimenting with my own jutsus. There were 3 more years until Pain attacked. I managed to recreate the Shadow Possession jutsu shortly after the invasion. I also managed to create a few shadow hand seals. They would help with my shadow jutsus. At 18, I managed to create a short flight jutsu that worked while I could keep my shadow form. At 19 I got so good with my shadow manipulation, that I managed to sense shadows. This allowed me to create a shunshin variation that used a temporary chakra entanglement technique, where I could create an entanglement from my chakra to the shadow chakra that I sensed, and teleport there. This allowed me to teleport through walls. The radius was pretty small though.
At 19, I started trying to recreate abilities from popular show on earth. I started with Harry Potter. I didn't know how to recreate apparition. I knew it was possible thanks to Obito, but still didn't know how to do it without the cheat that was the sharingan. I did manage to create the Sonorous Charm first. It required sending chakra to the vocal cords. I also created another variation when I was bored, where you would send chakra somewhere else and create incredibly loud farts. Another useless jutsu. I managed to create a few shield jutsus. I did this using different elements. The earth shield was the most successful of course. The shadow shield also worked pretty well. I also mastered the Rasengan. I managed be pretty useful on a B-rank mission turned A-rank, and even saved my sensei's life, which got me promoted to jonin. I spent the rest of the time until the invasion trying to memorize as much as possible from the jonin library.
On the day of the invasion I had an overpowered clone inside the library. When the invasion started and everyone left, the clone created 100 extra clones and they memorized everything. My main body was already in a secluded area of the village, which allowed me to leave in the confusion. I then disguised myself and went to the Land of Snow, where I settled down. I bought a house in a remote village and started experimenting with my jutsu. I spent the next 5 years trying every jutsu from the library. At 25 I mastered the Rasengan. Then 2 months later I recreated the Rasenshuriken. Then I tried recreating different types of Rasengans. I failed to create a Shadow Rasengan just yet though.
I was also interested in the Yamanaka jutsus, but unfortunately I didn't know where to start. I also tried to do with Wood Release what I did with the shadows, but it didn't work. At 30, one of my clones was molding chakra using the snake hand sign for earth and the dog hand sign for water, and going through one and then the other for over 1000 times, and then attempted a wood release jutsu. He managed to create a half a meter sapling. It was completely unusable, but it was something. I now knew that not only people with kekkei genkai could use certain jutsus, but it was far simpler for them, and pretty impractical for anyone else.
When I was 32, I made a little progress with Wood Release. I theorized that the difficulty came from the yang chakra. The yin part was easier to change, it was the yang part that was more connected with genetics. I did have an idea on how to use nature chakra for wood release, since the yang part was already perfect for this jutsu, but I didn't know how to use nature chakra. At 42 I finished learning all jutsus from the genin and chunin sections of the library. I could also perform a few of them without hand signs, like my special shunshin. At 50, I finished learning all the ninjutsu in the entire library. Now I started focusing only on creating new jutsu. At 58 I knew over 1000 jutsus. Take that Kakashi. At 60, I could hold my shadow form indefinitely. I was like a logia fruit user. Since I figured out how to fly in my shadow form, this meant I could fly indefinitely. At 62, I managed to improve my shadowy jutsu, being able to teleport behind walls with normal sensing, not needing shadows. At 63, I modified the jutsu a bit, now I could use the Pseudobyakugan to shunshin through walls. At 68, I finally managed to master the Shadow Rasengan. This would both create a lot of damage and create a lot of shadows, which I could then control to attack or immobilize my enemy. Hitting the Shadow Rasengan into the ground would create a shadowy smoke around me, which I could then manipulate. I used this as an inspiration to create a shadowy smoke bomb jutsu.
At 70 I managed to create a true Shadow Clone Jutsu. I could create clones from shadows chakra. They would create a shadowy smoke when they dispelled, which I could use to attack my enemies. At 72, I managed to control weather I wanted to receive the clone's chakra or not after the clone was created. This way I could still do dangerous experiments with shadow clones, and if they failed and returning the chakra was dangerous, I could choose to not receive the chakra, but if it was successful, I could choose to receive the chakra and memories. Also, I managed to create a technique for creating clones inside a mindscape, similar to storing chakra. These clones would not pop after one hit though.
At 80 years old, I created a chakra absorption jutsu. Using it for a long time on a tree did allow me to absorb nature chakra, though it was very inefficient. I did manage to turn a few clones into stone before dispelling. I started using it for a very little time with the clones, then dispel the chakra. If the clone was safe, I would dispel it. This made me a lot more sensitive to nature chakra. Now I knew what I was feeling for. Whit time I got better and better at absorbing the nature chakra. I did test my hypothesis about using nature chakra to perform wood release and it was a lot easier. At 82 years old, I managed to perfect a form of Sage Mode. It was the most normal Sage Mode one could achieve, different from toad sage mode or snake sage mode or any other specialized sage mode. At 84, I managed to focus my absorption of nature chakra on the shadowy areas, since I was already very attuned to it. I created my own Shadow Sage Mode. This allowed me to perform my shadow jutsus a lot easier, and without the need of hand signs, since my chakra was already attuned to the shadows. I also got a general boost, increased speed, increased strength, increased everything. My sensing also got better. I could feel every shadow in an area of kilometers.
At 90 years old, I managed to create a sonar jutsu using nature chakra. This was very helpful for detecting trees. It also worked for paper. I now basically had a Paper Detection Jutsu. This would have been very helpful when searching Uzushio. I planned to revisit Uzushio and all of the ruins in one of the future simulations and get every scroll present.
At 93 years old, I managed to enter one of my clone's mindscape. It was identical to mine of course. I wanted to see if I could view memories. I did manage to analyze the yin chakra and get glimpses of memories, but I couldn't control it. I did however get good at stopping others from reading my memories, or from entering my mindscape to begin with. At 95, I managed to create a method for viewing recent memories. This only worked on a person that didn't know how to protect their mind. I also managed to read surface thoughts while in someone's mindscape. At 98, I did manage to master reading specific memories. All the memory related jutsus required me to enter someone's mindscape. This could be dangerous if that someone wasn't drugged first, since they could attack me in their mindscape. I also needed to be in contact with someone in order to attempt entering their mindscape. My body was also defenseless while I was inside someone else's mind. I could however use the time dilation jutsu while reading memories, and finish very fast. While this was very useful, it was far from the Legilimency I was hoping for.
At 101, I already had over 2000 jutsus. I spent the rest of the time reading about editing my mindscape using fuuinjutsu. I managed to create a scroll to upgrade my mindscape with the books from this simulation just in time before the end of the simulation.
At the end of reading the tl;dr booklet, I was happy with my progress. I managed to master senjutsu inside the simulation, which was on my main list of things I wanted to achieve. Learning senjutsu would require a lot of practice though. Maybe with the help of fuuinjutsu I could simplify the process of senjutsu, similar to Orochimaru's cursed seal.
I spent the rest of the day trying to learn a simple E-rank jutsu, practicing my taijutsu and doing some chakra control exercises. That is how I spent the rest of the month, working on anything I wanted to learn at any given time. When the end of the month was approaching, I started thinking what to work on next. I was considering having a simulation focusing on taijutsu, and on proper nutrition for a ninja.
When the 30th day came, I heard the sound I was waiting for:
[Ding! Host has received 1 simulation opportunity. Next simulation opportunity will be received in 30 days.]
