The Gold Coast of Australia has turned to shit just like everywhere else around the
world since the zombie apocalypse began. There's four mermaids and four mermen waiting in the moon pool on Mako Island waiting for the arrival of Zane and Lewis. Ash, Emma, Cleo, Rikki, Bella. Will, and Elliot, Emma's twelve-year-old brother, and Kim, Cleo's twelve- year-old sister.
Cleo is still sad about being the one that had to put her dad, Don, out of his misery when he got bitten by a walker and eventually turned. They all lost parents, siblings, and friends when the zombie outbreak happened over a week ago.
At least there was a small consolation, they didn't have to deal with that bitch Dr. Denman, for she had left the Gold Coast when she accepted a position at a science facility at La Harve, France about two years ago. Everyone pretty much hopes that bitch became a human happy meal for what she put them all through.
Water splashing is heard to announce the arrival of Lewis and Zane.
Lewis had news that they had to hear, for Lewis had managed to gain access to the internet to the CDC website in Atlanta.
"Listen guys, there was this doctor at the CDC by the name of Dr. Edwin Jenner. Lewis presses play the file on his cell phone on speaker. Dr Jenner is explaining that everyone is infected with the virus. In other words, every one of us is the walking dead. When you die of natural causes, you still turn without getting bitten. But there more, This Dr. Jenner seems to think that the zombie outbreak was manufactured at a French facility in France.
Shit! Shit! Shit! exclaimed Zane. Want to bet that this facility is in La Harve and Denham could have something to do with this! Evil Bitch!
Lewis pulls out the silver pocket watch that was given to him by Cleo's dad, Don, on the day that he and Cleo got married, the watch was in the Satori family for generations.
Everyone agrees that the open ocean is the best place to be since the walker threat seems to be contained on land. Another plus side is being mermaids and mermen. But we still must be careful since we're not immune because we are all infected with the zombie virus according to Dr Jenner.
