A/N: Welcome aboard the third stop on this train around the Love Square filled with unintentional pregnancy reveals! This one should be about three chapters plus epilogue and bonus alternate ending. Enjoy! Stats are still messed up, so I appreciate reviews to let me know if you're enjoying and want more!

Marinette felt a mix of nervousness and excitement as she lay on her bed, staring at her ceiling.

Ding ding.

At the sound of the chime from her phone, she wrenched herself up, darting back into her bathroom. She stopped at the doorway, taking a deep breath to center herself.

Tikki appeared next to her. "What are you waiting for, Marinette?"

"This could change everything. I want to be ready."

The pregnancy test lay innocently on the sink, just out of her sight.

She certainly hadn't planned for this possibility, but she couldn't help the excitement that filled her at the thought. She and Adrien hadn't been trying for a baby; they'd only been officially dating for a handful of months now. But after the extended amount of time they had both (according to Alya and Nino) apparently spent pining after one another, it was a common prediction amongst their friends that they would be married within a year. They had become quite close friends before finally realizing feelings were mutual, and the resulting relationship felt almost like a dream.

Marinette stepped forward, peering down as the test came into view.

"Congratulations, Marinette! A new life, how wonderful!" Tikki's joyful voice echoed through the bathroom, and Marinette couldn't hold back her smile at the sight of the two pink lines.

Adrien was going to be ecstatic.

Sure, they hadn't planned for it, but they both were certain they wanted kids. Plus, they were only a few months from finishing university, not to mention that things with Shadow Moth had remained mild for years now.

She and Adrien weren't living together at the moment; after all, Marinette needed some space to continue being Ladybug undetected, but she had known the time of secrets would be coming to an end if things progressed the way she'd hoped.

Walking back into her living room, Marinette started planning. Adrien wasn't due to be finished with work until later in the evening, so she wanted to come up with something memorable.

She hadn't been working long when she heard a familiar tap at her balcony door.

Grinning, she stood up and walked over, seeing a familiar face.

Chat Noir stood outside, waving a deck of cards in his hands.

Marinette opened the door and leaned in the frame. "You coming for a rematch?"

It had been a breath of fresh air to develop their friendship over the years outside of her mask. As Ladybug, she always had to keep things close to her chest. As Marinette, however, it was much easier to let things go. Chat Noir had seemed desperate for friendship in the early years, and she had been happy to provide. As Ladybug, she approved of how well he'd managed their friendship without revealing anything too personal, even if this did cause it to be a little lopsided in her direction. Chat had never minded, however, and so it had continued.

All on the up and up, of course. Adrien knew about their friendship, and hadn't had any issues with it. Nevertheless, she always tried to remain careful. She took a step out and closed the sliding door behind her.

Marinette looked at the deck of cards, remembering their game of gin rummy they'd last played with her own deck. "Did you seriously carry that thing all the way across town?"

He grinned back, moving to give her space to walk out to the small table and set of chairs on the porch. "I'll never reveal my secrets."

She laughed and sat down, staring expectantly. "Well? Let me kick your butt at cards already, I have things to do."

One game later, and Marinette sat back, feeling smug.

Nonplussed, Chat leaned his chair back to balance on two legs, his feet resting on the table as his hands went behind his head. "I'm getting better. You'll see, princess, I'll get you next hand. You said you're busy? Sewing project?"

"No, actually. I'm working on ideas for something. Actually…" A thought occurred to her, and she grew excited. Chat Noir would have some excellent reveal ideas. "I could use your help with it."

"Of course. What is it?"

"I need to tell Adrien something, and I'm trying to come up with a creative way to do so."

Something hesitant crossed Chat's face, though he remained relaxed. "You sure you want me for that, what about Alya?"

She waved him off. "I'll ask her later. But you seem to have a similar outlook on life as Adrien, so I think you'll have some good insight."

"Uhm…"

The sound of slight protest went unnoticed as Marinette continued, "Okay, so, I'm pregnant, and I wanted to figure out a good way to—"

A crash interrupted her thought process, as Chat Noir's chair fell out from underneath him. Marinette blinked at the hero as he untangled from the chair, leaping back to his feet, giving the poor chair no mind. "Holy cow."

She looked mournfully at the chair. "I think you've broken the poor thing."

"Forget the chair, Marinette. You're pregnant?!" Excitement flared up across his face as he leaned his clawed hands on the table. "Seriously? That's amazing!"

She smiled, but eyed his claws scratching her table. "Yes, and thanks, Chat, but if you break any more of my furniture, I'm gonna have to ask you to call Ladybug to fix your mess."

He ignored her, coming around the table to yank her up from her chair in a hug. When he twisted her in a circle, Marinette let out a giggle. "Alright, alright, put me down. What's gotten into you?"

He dropped her to her feet, smiling brightly at her. "I'm just really happy for you, Marinette. I love kids." Something mischievous entered his gaze. "Does this mean I can be the fun uncle?"

"Of course. Just don't be leading any akumas their way."

He lifted his fingers to his head in a salute. "Cat's honor."

She snorted. "That's not a thing."

He gave her a mock affronted look before his grin escaped again.

Marinette returned to her thought process. "Alright alright, now that we're past that, do you think you could help me now? Come up with ways to—"

"Just tell him," he said, sitting on the railing now that his chair was in a heap.

Marinette pursed her lips. "That's no fun."

He shrugged. "Sometimes simple is the best."

Before Marinette could further protest, an akuma alert rang out from her phone.

Chat straightened. "Sorry, duty calls." He glanced around the area a bit more carefully than usual. Before he jumped down, he shot her one more hesitant smile. "Let me know his reaction, yeah?"

She smiled, hiding the tension she had begun feeling at the sound of the alert. "I will."

Still, he didn't leave, pulling up the alert on his baton. He relaxed slightly, but something still seemed to make him uneasy. He shot her a quick glance. "You'll stay here, right? Not going to follow Alya with her camera, yeah?"

Marinette gave him a reassuring smile and a nod, choosing not to answer aloud in case the lie came out too obvious. She walked over to shoo him off her balcony. "Get out there already, Chat. Don't make Ladybug handle it alone."

"Alright, alright! I'm going." He dropped down, quiet as he snuck away.

Marinette twisted around abruptly, running for the door inside. As soon as she closed the door, her Kwami appeared. "Tikki, can I fight?"

"It's still early, you should be okay! Just be careful!"

Marinette didn't waste any more time, transforming and sneaking out to follow Chat Noir to the fight.
