Prologue: Me in the Star Wars Universe
I have watched Star Wars all my life. I am a big fan that I have several dozen lightsabers and books on Star Wars. I have also played many of the Star Wars games and have seen all the movies of the Skywalker Saga and several shows. Though I do have to admit that if I had written Star Wars. I would have done a lot of things differently. Over the course of the years, I came up with what would have happen had I been a Jedi Master in Star Wars. That is how I write a lot of my stories, I put myself in the world and see what I might have changed.
Now my story goes back long before the days of the Empire, before the Clone Wars, and even before the Blockade of Naboo. I was born a human on Coruscant to a pair of Grey Jedi who left the Order to have a family to raise in the Force. They wanted to prove the Jedi High Council of the benefit of raising families in the Force. My father was named Jinn Jones and my mother Collie Jones. I was born about 70 BBY. I was born with a younger twin brother named Alex. We both have short brown hair like our father with green eyes from our mother. We both wear a kind of glasses mostly for looks. Though they are built to help us see with microscopic and binocular vision. Our parents had earned a lot of credits as mercenaries in the Republic, so our family was well off. As Alex and I grew, and our parents saw our strength in the Force. They choose to have us trained at the Jedi Temple. To enhance our powers. Jedi Master Yoda took me on as his personal padawan learner. Master Mace Windu choose to teach Alex. As Master Yoda's Padawan, I learned much. We had many adventures together. One time as we were exploring Malastare looking for some spice smugglers that were causing some trouble on Naboo. Master Yoda showed me how I could walk and navigate without my eyes. "Need your eyes to see the galaxy around you, you do not" he said to me. With that teaching, I was able to locate where the smugglers' hideout was.
Even though Alex was trained under Master Windu, he became close to Master Yoda as did many Jedi in the Order. I also had some time under Master Windu, so we got close too. As our training continued, we both became very strong in the Force. The lightsaber I made had a similar blade stabilizing ring or top to Master Yoda's. I did that in Jedi tradition to show respect for my master. I had some horizontal hand grip rings followed by vertical one. The end was a ball or palmer with trapezoid spikes on the outside. It had a blue blade, and I was proud of it. Alex made a lightsaber that had a flat top with a ball end. His was also blue and was like Master Windu's. Eventually we both passed the trials and were made full Jedi Knights. As the years continued and I trained many successful padawans, I was given a spot on the Jedi High Council. One of my first acts as a member of the Jedi High Council was to establish Jedi Academies across the galaxy. I was always referred to as Master Jones where Alex was called Master Alex. That was to make sure no one got us confused. Master Yoda's training of seeing beyond my eyes helped me to foresee many troubles that the Order would encounter in the years to come. I knew I had to have Jedi trained that were battle ready and the strongest Jedi the galaxy had ever seen. Being on the Council gave me access to the Holocron Vault in the Jedi Archives. There I found the records of the Old Jedi Order where Jedi could marry and have children. I also learned some things about the Dark Side and the Sith that the modern-day Order did not teach publicly. All that opened my foresight to realize the Sith were in fact in hiding.
I know that to overcome the Dark Side and the Sith whatever their plans may have been. My Jedi had to learn of the Dark Side and know how to control it rather than be controlled by it. I also permitted my Jedi to marry and rise families in the Force. No Jedi under my charge did not know their families. Those that I found outside the Academies, I offered for their families to come live in or near the Academy. If they declined, I still let them come visit. I found those who had something or someone to live for survived better in battle. I kept all that from the rest of the Council. They knew about my Academies and commended me for it. They felt I was doing my best to strengthen the numbers of Jedi Order. That the way the Order could better keep peace in the Galaxy. That was part of my reasons, but the biggest reason to prepare for the strike of the Sith. I called my Jedi in my Academies the Aspirants of the Force. Before long I had some thousands of students.
One Jedi Master I was close to was Master Sifo-Dyas. He foresaw the great conflict that I did. Though he was more outspoken about it than I was. I know the rest of the Council would not believe the vision, so I did not say anything. Sifo-Dyas was let go from the Council because of that. A little before the Blockade of Naboo, Master Sifo-Dyas and I were assigned by Chancellor Valorum to Oba Diah with his aide Silman to deal with the Pyke Syndicate and their spice production. Though the minute we landed we received a message from the Council that we were needed to deal with flare up of activity on Felucia. Sifo-Dyas and Silman traveled in a separate shuttle from me. Before I could leave the system, their shuttle was shot down and crashed landed on a desolate moon that orbited the planet. I turned back and retrieved Sifo-Dyas but the Pykes got Silman. I did not have the time to get Sifo-Dyas' lightsaber so I put him into my shuttle and fled the system as fast as I could. We made it to Felucia in one piece. When we supervised the talks between the tribal leaders there, it looked like we may make some progress. Then a mysterious assassin killed Sifo-Dyas. Each of the tribal leaders of Felucia blamed the others and the talks broke down. I returned to Coruscant in disgrace, with bad news for Chancellor Valorum. About a week or so later Valorum sent me back to Oba Diah to finish with the Pykes. I at least managed to clear and stabilize that problem. It was not too long before I was asked to accompany Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi to Naboo.
