"Did you find Rolf Nazz?"

Nazz shook her head. She sealed up the chicken pen, double checked that the rest of the animals were in the shed before turning to Kevin. "No sign of him Kev. I tried opening the back entrance to his cellar but it wouldn't budge. It's locked tight."

Kevin's eyes lit up. "He has to be down there, it's the only place left to check. I've got an idea." He started to run into Rolf's house, pausing when he heard Nazz calling for him. "I'm going to grab something Rolf used to use and use it to bust the entrance open," he said before leaving.

Nazz turned her attention back to Rolf's basement. The back entrance's lock was on the other side, if they were going to get it open, they'd need to smash their way through the door until they could reach the lock. Sorry Rolf, we'll fix this tomorrow.

"Here! This should get us through," Kevin sprinted towards her carrying a giant hammer. A hammer that looked like it could fit on someone's head. "If this ain't gonna do it I don't know what will."

Nazz blankly stared at the hammer. "Kevin, what is that?"

"Rolf called it the "Hat of Discipline." Kevin placed the hammer on his head and approached the basement's entrance, almost tripping along the way. "Man, I've no idea how Rolf can handle something like this." Kevin took a deep breath and swung his head downwards, bringing the hammer down on the basement bulkhead. The bulkhead broke in two the moment the hammer made contact. Nazz approached the entrance and spotted something near the back.

"Rolf?" Nazz jumped down into the basement and approached the figure, she sprinted towards it when she saw the figure had blue hair. "Rolf!" Nazz dropped to her knees, grabbed Rolf's shoulders and pulled him up into a sitting position, causing him to stir. "Kevin look!"

Kevin knelt beside her and helped her pull Rolf up. "Hold on man, we're going to get you out of here."

"Kevin? Go-Go Nazz Girl?" Rolf murmured as they guided him out of the basement. "Where is Rolf?"

"Your basement," replied Nazz. "Someone dumped you down here."

"We all got attacked," said Kevin. "We think they're hiding in Jonny's house. We're going to get you out of here, and once you're sorted me and Nazz are going to go pound them," he said angrily.

"I'm going with you."

"No you're not." Nazz said firmly. "You can't even stand properly."

Rolf opened his eyes and let out a defiant laugh. "Do not worry about Rolf. Rolf once helped you pursue the Ed-boys despite having damage done to his torso."

"That doesn't count. We all got badly injured that day. Something made us move that day."

"The burning desire to exact vengeance on the three Eds?"

Nazz and Kevin flinched. "Y-yeah," muttered Kevin. "But we don't want to do that anymore remember?"

"Rolf hasn't forgotten." They stepped out of the basement and Rolf forced Nazz and Kevin to let go of him. "Now Rolf must prepare himself!" he declared.

"For what?" asked a bewildered Nazz.

"You said that the one responsible was hiding in Jonny's house yes?" Rolf waited for the two to nod before shouting, "Then Rolf must prepare himself! For the punishment that awaits the culprit for tonight's events! Go on without me, Rolf shall return! And when I do," he puffed out his chest and said menacingly. "Rolf's vengeance will be slow and painful, like Papa's charcoal anecdotes."

"Remind me to not get on Rolf's bad side," whispered Nazz.

"You got it," replied Kevin. "Don't want to get smacked in the face by a raw fish. Like what happened to Eddy."

Jonny's house was the exact opposite of Nazz's and Eddy's house. There was no visible damage to it on the inside or outside. It was slightly bigger than when Eddy last saw it, but that wouldn't make anyone lose sleep. The only odd thing about it was how clean it was, despite the fact that Jonny and his family had been gone for five years the house was almost spotless. It didn't make sense to Eddy, only Double D would be this concerned about cleanliness. He almost went insane once when he couldn't have a shower for crying out loud.

Eddy exited the living room and called up to Edd who was inspecting the second floor. "No clues Double D?"

"Nothing yet Eddy. There's-" Edd let out a loud gasp. "Eddy you should come see this!"

Eddy sprinted up the stairs and found Edd at the end of the hallway pointing up at something. "That's an attic door Double D," Eddy said flatly.

"Precisely! In the past Jonny didn't have an attic door, to get up there you had to get into a basket and pull yourself up."

"So the house was altered. I don't get your point."

"Think Eddy, do you really think it would be possible for someone to drag someone up to the attic the old way? Via basket? The attic is the only place left for us to check. We both found nothing of interest in our respective searches."

Eddy snapped his fingers. "And the stairs connected to the door should have made it a lot easier. We'll wait for Nazz and Kevin to show up before checking the attic out." He frowned when Edd smirked at him. "What?"

"Oh now you want to be patient Eddy?"

"Hey better late than never Sockhead." Eddy's eyes widened and Edd gasped when they heard someone screaming above them. "Ed?"

Edd frantically nodded. "That was Ed! Lord knows what they're doing to him up there." He looked seriously at Eddy. "I know you said we should wait for the others, but are we going to just stand here and wait? One can only imagine the atrocities that await Ed from those unrelenting Kanker Sisters."

Eddy started sweating. "Kankers? When I woke up a message was written on my bedroom door from my brother. You don't think…"

"That they're working together?" whispered Edd, his legs violently shaking. "The last time we saw the Kankers was when we meet your brother Eddy." Edd started sinking to the ground, Eddy was about to grab him when Edd stood up straight and took a deep breath.

"Double D?"

Edd exhaled. "Courage, courage, Eddward." Edd grabbed the string attached to the attic door and pulled it, opening the door and causing a ladder to descend to them. He gave Eddy a determined, somewhat scared look before climbing the ladder.

Eddy was right behind him. Ed's screams become clearer with each step taken forward. The two boys looked ahead, towards the attic's only source of light and both flinched at what they saw.

In front of the flashlight lay Ed, slumped against the wall. His costume had multiple cuts and tears, his right eye was swollen, his red hair was in disarray, his left cheek was bruised and his breathing was ragged. Eddy swore under his breath before he and Edd sprinted towards Ed. The lights suddenly came on, stopping them in their tracks.

They heard someone weakly say "Look out!" before feeling something connecting with their legs, causing both boys to collapse to their knees. They were then hit on their shoulders, sending them both to the ground. Edd and Eddy forced themselves to look up at the attacker, a hooded figure in all black clothing. The figure was wielding a baseball bat, ten tense seconds passed before it pointed the bat at Eddy, who turned pale when he saw their red nails.

"Kanker?"

"You made me do this," the figure hissed before taking off its mask with its left hand, revealing a tanned, bald boy.

Eddy's eyes widened in shock. "Jonny?"

The boy faintly smiled at Eddy and Ed. "Hello Eddy, hello Double D."

"You animal!" Jimmy shrieked from the other side of the attic. "You're gonna be in so much trouble when the others get here!"

"I'll be back," Jonny sharply turned and marched towards Jimmy, who was tied up against a wall. "No talking!" he yelled before hitting Jimmy several times with the bat, he stopped when Jimmy's nose started bleeding. "Annoying little shrimp." Jonny returned to Eddy and Edd and sat down in front of them. "Now we wait. For the others."

"What did you do to Ed?" demanded Edd.

"Nothing too serious. Just as bad as the beatings we used to give you three after foiling one of your scams. He'll pull through, as will you Double D." Jonny faced Eddy and shot him a razor thin smile. "But you, you fully deserve what awaits you Eddy. Thanks to you, I became the outcast."

"What are you talking about?"

"You don't remember?" yelled Jonny. He smacked the ground with the bat and stood up. "I took you three down at that theme park and immediately afterwards the other kids beat me up! For what?" The bat was raised up again, Jonny took a deep breath and started bringing it down. Edd and Eddy braced for impact, then they heard three new voices behind Jonny.

"Hey! Get away from our friends!"

"Back off Dweeb!"

"Quake and quiver like a jellyfish Jonny-Wood Boy!"
