"Why do you wanha talk to me, Groot, is it because of Drax and me being against naps." Groot heard Ranger asking the treelike being. It was early-evening and while the others were playing forca but before getting ready for bed, Groot had the oppournity to talk to Ranger about what was going on involving sleep.
"It's just you don't seem to want to sleep and this nap strike just made me concerned as you need your sleep to grow, you have bad dreams, huh." Groot said astounding Ranger. He hadn't said anything and Groot had figured it out seeing him holding an nightlight surprising the male toddler-raccoon at this guessing the others including Rocket had them and they slept well.
"Alright, if it'll help me sleep, thanks mommy." Ranger told him which made Groot relieved putting ut in Drax and Ranger's room by Ranger's bed which was the bottom bunk bed so it wouldn't bother Drax knowing hehad one making Drax understand. "It's okay Ranger as I have one too, it helps me sleep." Drax told him.
"Ohhhhh okay, Indidn't know you had trouble sleeping too." Ranger said softly seeing Drax noddibg knowing it was tine for bedtime snacks seeing the others excited picking milk-branches drinking through them like straws includibg Ranger making Groot chuckle hearing them belching heading to their rooms seeing Ranger following Drax to their room.
"The light will work, you'll see, so you can rest, and help in the garden." Drax told him. Drax hoticed the toddler-raccoon male was good with growing things like Rocket with tech knowing Ranger wanted to help in the community garden and he was allowed as long as he rested knowing he would with the nightlight plus knowing his fur was slowky turning green from being here, eating and drinking from Groot which he'd explained didn't hurt him.
The next morning, in his and Drax's room, Ranger began to stir realising he'd slept the whole night realising the nightlight had worked smiling revealing baby fangs getting up along with Drax. "The nightlight worked and feel ready to getvmy paws dirty in the community garden like the one in Half-World." he told Drax making him grinnas they joined the other for breakfast relieving Rocket that Ranger was beginning to sleep better.
After breakfast, Ranger put on a straw hat and overalls heading to the community garden making the others amused as Groot to,d them it was okay because Rocket had explained to him, that Ranger was pretty good at growing things so helping in the community garden wasgood and would help Eanger adjust to life here making them get it.
A while later, Ranger returned with dirty paws and dirty overalls but a grin on his lil furry face seeing the others astounded by this knowing he needed to get cleaned-up before he could have lunch or he near them seeing a mischievous grin on Nebula'sface as Rocket had the hose they used to keep Groot cool, when it got hot during the day making Rangergulp running from them but not as fast as Rocket so was caught being hosed down hearing the others giggle. "Now you can eat and be aroubd us without stinking." Nebula said smirking seeing him sciwl at her.
"She has a point, Ranger it's good to get dirty but it feels good to get cleaned up after, ohhh gotta hydrate mommy Groot." Rocket said. He then sprayed Groot with the hose hearing the treelike heing that was their mother sighing in relief from the heat
