"You're gonna love school, Ranger trust us, plus we have fun, play, our teacher's really nice and she reads stories and teaches songs then we teach Rocket them, or Nebula does when we get home which she's probabky doing right now." Drax tokd Ranger. It was Monday afternoon and Drax, Gamora, Mantis and Nebula had came home from pre-school and Groot had told Ranger he'd be attending pre-school with his sibs which made the overall wearing toddler-raccoon male excited but had questions which the others were answering for him hearing him ask, if Rocket went with them to school.
"No Ranger he doesn't, because of his sensory issues so Nebula tells him about what we do at school, along with the songs we learn. Nebula's probably with Rocket in his room as I can hear her singing and Rocket's giggling." Mantis said grinning at this.
"She'll have her snack alomg with Rocket soon, but she was worrying about Rocket." Drax added to Ranger as Mama Groot was there seeing them hugging him making him giggle. "I see you had a good day and yes, Ranger will be joining you at school and see you've been telling him about school which is good. Rocket's been calm all day and Ranger was at the community garden but we cleaned him up afterwards." he told them.
They then saw Nebula and Rocket joining them but he was humming the song Nebula had taught him which Ranger was makihg him think of that seeing Ranger surprised by this. They were playing forca bit before dinner and Rocket and Nebula were playing together while Mantis was playing with Gamora while Drax and Ranger were playing with cars.
"I heard you're going to school with our sibs, good luck as I don't go." Rocket told Ranger. "Yeah but will have fun but surprised you don't go being a genius." he told him seeing Rocket shrug his furry shoulders hearing dinner was ready going to wash up with everybody else like normal delighted they were having chicken nuggets seeing Drax agreeing with him along with Ranger.
The next morning, when Ranger wome up, he felt his tummy was tight like there were butterflies in it as he and Drax got up getting dressed only Drax noticed how quiet the toddler-raccoon was wondering if everything was okay seeing him shake his furry head. "Not really Drax, I think I'm a bit nervous abot school." Ranger admitted following him outside seeing the other toddler-Guardians at the breakfast table surprised, hearing from Drax that Ranger was nervous about school so they'd helphim seeing Rocket was still sleeping. "He was up stargazing as the stars soothe him so we'll see him later when we get back from school." Nebula told them as they understood finishing breakfast.
After this, they were grabbing their backpacks which had their lunches in them which Groot had made for them, leaving the Groot-house heading to the bus-stop with Ranger following them gripping the handles of his backpack nervously waitibg with the kids hoping this was a good thijg but the buspulled up, before his nerves got the better of him getting on with the other toddler-Guardians sitting by hinself in aseat as the bus left the stop hoping Rocket was okay back home.
"Ranger just has the first day jitters and once he sees how cool school is, they'll go away." Gamora whispered to Mantis which Nebula heard knowing this was true but imagining if Rocket was also with them but would tell him later guessing he was still sleeping after stargazing because when he'd been a baby and kicked out of his family, he'd looked up atvthe stars, closed his eyes and made a wish then Herbert had foubd him which he'd kept secret except for Nebula
