Goten and Trunks are constantly left behind when it comes to big fights. Tired of being the weaklings of the group, they decide it's time to catch up to the others. Meanwhile, a new evil approaches intending to wipe out all Saiyans and any race he deems too dangerous to be left alive. After an altercation with the monster, Goten found himself sent to another world. Can he get back?

The Price of Power

Goten and Cell were currently on the right side of the portion of the lake where the fight started. They were both engaged in a battle where neither of them could afford to give up.

"So you finally showed your true nature Saiyan. I'm proud of you... brother. This will be fun."

"I told you, you aren't my brother, and there's nothing fun about this! I'm here for one reason and one reason alone! To get my friends back and destroy you! That's all there is to it! Nothing more, nothing less."

"Don't be that way. We were meant to be together."

"Creeps like you are only meant to be in hell!" Said Goten.

The two fighters vanished, and reverberations were felt all around. The shockwaves caused major destruction to the general area. Goten and Cell were both attempting to land a hit on each other, but Goten quickly found himself on the defensive as Cell was faster and stronger than him, and could make his body like Suu's at any given time, though for some reason he wasn't staying in his slime state.

'He's no slouch, I'll give him that!' Goten thought as Cell continued his attack, eventually breaking Goten's guard with an uppercut.

Cell followed up by smashing his elbow into Goten's chest, sending him rocketing away. As he flew, Cell followed him and beat him to the destination where he would recover from the bio-androids blow. Cell followed up by grabbing Goten's right leg, and head, and then smashing his knee into Goten's back.

"ARGH!" The Saiyan yelped before Cell added in on the pain by elbowing Goten's stomach, sandwiching him between his elbow and knee. Cell released Goten from this position, and used both his hands to slam him into the ground. Cell attempted to fly down at him for his next attack, but the Super Saiyan side-kicked Cell in the face as he got close. This did little to stop the android. It sent him back a little to the side, but Cell ultimately shrugged it off and came back for more. He tried to punch Goten, but Goten blocked it. Goten disappeared and aimed to blast Cell in the back of the head with a yellow ki blast, but it went through his slimy body and Cell disappeared and once again tried to stab Goten with his tail. Goten dodged, grabbed his tail, and swung him around before throwing him away and firing a regular yellow energy wave at him. Cell's body started glowing in a yellow aura and he dodged the attack. He flew right above the yellow energy wave and kicked Goten's face, forming a stream of 3 golden lines. He then jumped back before hitting Goten with a right hook to the face that created a similar stream. Goten was once again floating in the air, but this time he could react to Cell. As he was in the air, Goten once again formed a ball of ki surrounded by a gust of wind, and as Cell tried to close the distance, he threw it at him at point-blank range which caused a good amount of damage. The explosion managed to hurt Cell and sent him away but Goten wasn't going to let this opportunity go to waste. Goten's golden aura began radiating with power as he flew up to Cell, and head-butted him in the stomach, further knocking him back further more. He flew after Cell again.

"Cyclone Style! Tornado Hurricane!" Goten shouted as he hit Cell with an extended fist that formed a twister around his fist sent Cell a good distance back after Goten swung it. However as Goten tried to follow Cell to Finish him off, Cell disappeared above Goten's back.

"Was this what you were planning? How predictable. KA...ME...HA...ME...HAAAAAAAA!" Said Cell, catching Goten off guard.

"WHAT?!" Said Goten in surprise. He turned around midair and barely managed to block in time. Goten took most of the blast so the explosion wasn't that large, but Goten was deeply hurt by it. Goten simply got up and flew toward Cell who did the same. They appeared all throughout the lake. In different areas, Cell and Goten were periodically seen clashing forearms, knees, and fists. When their fists clashed one last time, Cell overpowered Goten, which pushed him in the air and knocking him off guard, revealing many openings on the young Saiyan. The bio android flew behind him, front-kicked Goten up into the air, and put him in a headlock. Cell reached around Goten and fired a green ki blast into his back. Goten slowly fell down in agony, but before Goten could hit the ground, Cell grabbed his hand, then began constricting his tail around his neck, choking him."

"I think it's time I finish you off. Any last words?" Cell laughed as Goten struggled for breath. "What's that? I'm afraid I didn't understand." Cell mocked.

This prompted Goten to do something he never thought he'd do. He bites Cell's tail causing him to recoil in pain and let Goten go. Goten went in for a bunch of punches, but Cell turned into slime once more avoiding them all. However, this time was different. Goten confidentially smiled at the bio-android. Cell went in for his own set of punches, but suddenly a series of explosions erupted from inside of Cell's body.

"Serves you right! Ugh, I'm definitely going to need some mouthwash after what I just did." Goten complained.

Cell was effectively worse off than when Goten got a rage boost after turning Super Saiyan. Hell, his body was worse than when he was beaten by the android he mentioned earlier. This time, half of Cell's body was diagonally destroyed. He was missing his right arm, and his right leg, half of his left leg was vertically destroyed, and a large part of his torso was gone. As for his wings, they were almost completely obliterated, only leaving stumps. Cell was far too injured to even speak. Normally Goten would feel terrible about beating up a crippled fighter regardless of how evil they were, but this was different. Cell had eaten two of his friends, killed tons of people, tortured him, and said something about Gohan that pushed him over the edge. Goten continuously beat the crap out of Cell, hoping to free Suu and Beytah somehow, but nothing happened. Out of desperation Cell liquified his body again, but it was in vain. While Cell could have shaped his body back into his whole form, Goten was quicker given Cell at this point had little to no energy left. Instead of using the same energy mine technique, Goten shot out rapid-fire energy waves through Cell's body, which was vaporizing Cell's body faster than even his slime form could regenerate them. However, at some point, Goten hit a spot that happened to a slimes weakness, it's core. This caused Cells body to dissolve and melt into the lake below.

"Beytah, Suu… I'm sorry. I tried my best to save you." Goten said sadly before teleporting to where his trapped friends were.

Goten would vanish over to where the members of M.O.N who were stuck, and would begin destroying the webs. A few things happened as Goten fought. As it would turn out, Kimihito and the girls left, but Kimihito had a bad feeling so he along with the girls came back and saw M.O.N all tied up in webs. Centorea heard the mayhem and came to help her master. Rachnera followed her, but the weirdest thing of all was a guy that nobody recognized brought Papi.

Earlier

Loud noises are heard throughout the area, and by now all civilians were gone hit by the webs and Tionishia was trying her best to get them out. Zombina's head ended up falling off causing her to be annoyed. Luckily Kimihito had arrived.

"Darling! You shouldn't have come back. It's not safe here!" Said Smith.

"Well, I couldn't just leave you. It's bad enough that I can't do anything I can't help Goten, but the least I can do is save you." Said Kimihito Kurusu.

"My, my, aren't you a smooth talker? Keep that up and you'll have even more ladies lining up to be your bride" Said Ms. Smith. Even when stuck in threads that were stronger than Rachnera's, she still didn't miss an opportunity to tease Kimihito.

Kimihito blushed, but before he could say something a familiar voice called out to him.

Centorea noticed the chaos and sprinted swiftly to where she believed her master was. "Master, what happened? Did Rachnera do this?" She knew that Rachnera didn't cause the destruction surrounding her but she wondered if she was responsible for the webs.

"What do you take me for? I don't just tie up anyone. I have standards." Said Rachnera. who had appeared behind a tree?

'Of course she's here.' They both thought.

"Centorea, it's not safe here!" Said Kimihito.

"Nonsense! As your faithful servant, I will do whatever it takes to protect you even against a powerful foe such as this. Now show me where this vile creature is, and I shall stain my blade with its blood!"

"Centorea, this guy is too much. Both he and Goten are too fast to be seen and they can both fly! This monster wants to eat Goten and destroy Japan!"

"Goten is fighting it? And it has the power to distroy this very country? Centorea took a look around and she she saw two objects seemingly disappearing and reappearing out of existence."

"W-What are those things?!"

"If you're talking about two blurry objects crashing into each other, that's Goten and Cell."

"I knew Goten was no amateur when it came to the art of fighting, but this is ridiculous! I never would have guessed he was so skilled! They're both moving so fast that if you hadn't told me, I would have never guessed what was actually happening. That said, you should run. I see you trying to cut the webs.

"That reminds me! Do you have your sword on you?" Kimihito asked.

"Why yes. Of course I have it Master."

"Are you able to slice these webs? Even Tio wasn't able to rip them apart.

"I'm sorry! They're just so gross and icky! It's not my fault! They're stronger than they look!" Said the ogre.

"A mere web is no match for my blade! I shall slice it and get you back to safety!" Said the blonde Centaur as he tried slicing the webs apart to no avail."

"What?! How strong are these? They're even stronger than Rachnee's!" Said the centaur.

Suddenly Smith had a thought. 'Wait... Cell was able to briefly restrain Goten but Rachnera most ' cannot! I wonder how she'll react to this information.'

"Was there another Arachne here or something?" Rachnera asked.

"Oh no, it was the creature that Goten is currently fighting. He was even able to brefly restrain Goten." Said Smith.

"Oh? Is that a fact?" To everyone's and especially the coordinators surprise, Rachnera started nibbling on the web that was restraining Smith.

"W-What on earth are you doing?!" Said Smith.

"What? You need to escape and my old webs were inefficient at restraining Goten. He breaks out of my webs so easily so I'm unable to test any bondage techniques on him. Oh, don't look at me like that, it's a win-win situation!" Rachnera justified.

"Well, that backfired." Said Doppel smiling at Smith's misfortune.

"Hahaha, you did this to yourself, Smith!" Said Zombina.

"That's not funny Zombina! She's clearly uncomfortable!" Said Manako.

"She has a point. After all, you're next." Said Rachnera.

"HA! JOKES ON YOU! MY HEAD ISN'T EVEN ATTACHED TO MY BODY!" Said Zombina.

"HEY WHAT ABOUT US!" Said Manako.

"WELL IT SUCKS TO BE YOU! HAHAHAHAHA!" Zombina laughed at them.

"You know, I use a test subject for my new and improved threads. Ah yes, I think that head of yours will suffice. Fufu." Said Rachnera.

"So much for having standards..." Zombina sulked.

"Not going to lie, Bina, you had that coming." Said Doppel.

"This day just can't get any worse. This was supposed to be a special day for me and darling, and what happened? Some monster comes to us because of course, it does!" Said Miia

"Hey everybody… I'm back." Said an injured Papi. The injured Harpy was being carried on the shoulders of…."

"HEY, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Said Zombina.

"This is my new friend 16! There was a Monster trying to eat us but he got Suu! Some guy showed up and saved the rest of us." Papi sobbed. "T-That's when 16 saw me, and he helped me out of the kindness of his heart!"

"Then Suu really is... hold on I'm going to need a moment." Said Kimihito.

Miia took this moment to comfort him. "Darling, everything will be okay. Goten's fighting his hardest to get her back."

"But is it even possible? I know Suu is a slime and the way Cell killed those people probably wouldn't hurt her... But we don't know if Suu can survive in there."

"Master, it's my fault! I left the house again and I brought Suu with me!" Papi cried.

"Papi... I told you not to go out on your own." Kimihito admonished.

Papi put stared at the ground. "I'm sorry hubby..."

"But you aren't to blame for what happened to Suu. I can't blame you for wanting to go out on your own, because I understand that understand how much you value freedom. If it's your fault that Suu is gone, then it's equally my fault. I knew you went out on your own without me but I never tried to enforce that rule on you, and I never did anything to get you to stop. Not to mention, Cell showed up here too. You didn't bring Suu to a dangerous place, danger came to you. Nobody could have predicted Cell showing up, but Cell chose to do what he did. If there's anyone to blame for what happened, it's Cell." Said Kimihito.

"W-Who's Cell?" Papi asked.

"Cell is the monster that took Suu and now he's trying to take Goten. They're fighting right now."

"Then Goten will win! 16, you'll help right?"

"Affirmative. I have analyzed his weaknesses. Cell has gained new abilities but he has yet to master them. According to my calculations, both he and this Goten are more powerful than me. However if given enough time, I can charge up an attack that can obliterate Cell in a single blast"

"No, but my friend Suu is still in there!" Papi exclaimed.

"I see. That is unfortunate. However should Cell learn how to use his new abilities, I'm afraid no one will be able to stop him and Cell will destroy the entire world." Said 16

"But there has to be another way!" Papi cried.

"I cannot sit idly by as Cell destroys the life I've grown fond of. I will not risk the fate of the world on the idea that Cell's victims can be saved. The only way we can be sure of the safety of the world is to remove Cell from it... I am sorry.

"Papi, it's rather unfortunate, but this man is correct. If he poses a threat to the world then he must be exterminated at all cost. Losing Suu brings me no joy, but she isn't the only one whose life is at stake. I can't tell what's going on up there, but it seems like Goten is trying his hardest to fend off this foul beast. If Goten tries to save Suu, it may very well cost him his life." Said Centorea.

"Your name is a number? That's a little unusual." Said Manako while looking at the strange man.

Smith grimaced hoping he wasn't a result of someone doing illegal experiments. This process was interrupted by Doppel.

"Hey big guy, what's your deal?" Asked Doppel.

"I was sent here to destroy the creature known as Cell and retrieve an ally of mine. However, I need time to charge up a power up a strong enough attack to eliminate Cell just as we should have before." Said Android 16. He clasped his hands together, hiding them under the sleeves of his jacket. When he separated them. His hands were now gone, replaced with arm cannons. Additionally, the android had also tucked his forearms under his armpit and at the bottom of both forearms was more arm cannons. However, this time some modifications were clearly made. Both his arms were still machine guns, but in the middle of the many holes was a deeper hole that acted like a canon(Fighterz Design basically). As for his forearms, they appeared more or less the same on the bottom. From each of his appendages, Android 16 concentrated a single ball of energy in front of him.

Papi briefly forgot she was sad and her eyes became stars. "That's so cool!"

"Okay seriously?! What is going on today? Said Doppel.

"I DON'T KNOW BUT IT"S AWESOME! CHECK OUT THE GUNS ON THAT GUY!" Said Zombina.

"I would stand back if I were you!" Said 16.

Kimihito gently grabbed Papi.

"Why is everything so crazy today?! First, an insane bug man comes out of nowhere and tries to kill us, Goten shows up and it turns out he's from some planet conquering race, and then a robot shows up?! And Smith, you knew about this?! Why didn't you say anything?!" Said Tio. She wasn't mad, just shocked at the chain of events that transpired in such a short amount of time.

Smith sighed. "Remember that day when you thought I thought I faked a viral threat just to get out of work?"

'That's totally what you did...' Every member of M.O.N thought.

"I had a chat with Goten about the invincible superhumans we've been dealing with for a little over a year now. I asked him because I... well I believed he was Saiyaman X2, the veery same who ruined our operation."

"Why would you think... actually yeah, that makes sense." Said Doppel thinking back to the time she and Goten pulled pranks together.

"Seriously? Honestly, Goten being Saiyaman X2 is kind of an adorable thought. He was so charming too. I guess even a cutie like him can be pushed over the edge." Said Tionishia in reference to hiss rage towards Cell.

"That would explain why he was so quiet when we went to Mr. Boyfriend's house for dinner. He must have been so nervous eating dinner with the people who tried to arrest him... Wait are we going to try to arrest him after this?" Said Manako.

"Could we even arrest him? I mean look at him!" Zombina points to the lake where Goten and Cell were constantly clashing. Their movements were impossible to follow but at times, Goten and Cell could be seen clashing fists in random spots around the lake before both of them disappeared.

"That's part of why I never followed through with pursuing him as a criminal. I may work for the government but capturing Goten would be impossible and they don't pay any of us hard enough to try. Also being on his good side may be crucial to the investigation since he's the only one who has an idea one where those superhumans came from. He says they're androids created by an organization known as the Red Ribbon Army."

"You mean like that guy over there? He's literally got a red ribbon on his chest that has to R's, and he's definitely an android or something like that." Said Doppel.

"...How did I not catch that?" Smith shook her head in disappointment. She was so focused on Cell and being trapped in webs that she didn't notice. She turned her attention to 16. "You there, are you a part of this fabled Red Ribbon Army?"

"Affirmative. I was created by the late Dr. Gero to kill a man by the name of son Goku."

"Wait, but that's Goten's father!" Centorea drew her claymore and brought it up to 16's neck. "Friend or foe?"

"Uh Cerea, I don't think that will work... He's a robot." Said Kimihito.

Rachnera tied up 16's body in her threads, but he remained in the same position. "I can't have you harming the boy. That would rob me of the opportunity to try out my new techniques you see."

16 was completely unphased by this. "Rest assured, I do not plan to harm this innocent boy. If he is truly the son of the man I was programmed to destroy, then I will not be required to eliminate him for I was only programmed to kill Son Goku and not his children. I was deemed a failure and was never released. When I was found and released by his grandson, I was without a purpose. Goku had already died so my objective had already been completed. His grandson brought me back to his lab to help him with a cause. He worked with a man who claimed to want to create a peaceful world without crime and needed him to create androids to fulfill that goal. Gero's grandson wasn't interested in changing the world itself but was driven purely by passion and that man gave him the funds he needed to create said androids. Although it wasn't his goal, Dr. Gero's grandson believed it was a good cause to fight for, so he built androids for that purpose. I was expected to kill criminals, but I found myself unable to do so. I do not enjoy the unnecessary loss of lives. As opposed to the typical criminals such as bank robbers and murderers, my primary target was poachers.

"I'm sorry. It must be hard." Said Manako.

"What are you referring to?" Said 16.

"You love nature, don't you? You seem like such a gentle soul yet people want to force you to hurt. You deserve better than that!" Said Manako.

"Yes... Since the day of my activation, I have grown fond of all forms of life. However, Cell is a being whose life I do not cherish. He wishes to destroy the very life I've grown to love and is therefore my enemy. I was created by Dr. Gero, not his grandson so I am under no obligation to follow his orders. I will destroy Cell not because I was ordered to, but because I want to." Said Android 16."

"So in other words you work with the Red Ribbon army not because of a choice, but because they made you? Then tell me, is the Red Ribbon Army or Dr. Hedo responsible for kidnapping both humans and non-humans as well as turning them into androids?" Said Smith.

"How do you know his name?" 16 asked.

"Well, the person fighting Cell told me. Anyway, are the Red Ribbon Army responsible for the countless disappearances around the world? Smith asked.

"That is classified information. Should I reveal too much, the bomb in my chest will go off. As for the original Red Ribbon Army, I was not activated until over a year ago, so I do not have enough information on them. However, I am aware of their past crimes. My creator kidnapped two innocent twins and made them into androids known as Android 17 and Android 18. His life was ended by them. I do not like killing yet I cannot defy my programming. If Goku were alive, I would go after him."

Not wanting to risk being blown to smithereens along with everyone else, Ms. Smith decided to make a proposal to 16.

"If that's the case, then I have a proposition. How would you feel about living here in Japan? It sounds like you aren't a fan of that organization. In Japan there's a lot of nature to admire and if you want a purpose, then how about joining M.O.N? You love nature right? Well at M.O.N we protect nature instead of destroying it. Oh, and don't worry, we won't force you to kill plus I'm sure we can get that bomb in your chest removed and you'll be as free as a bird. Doesn't that sound like a pleasing offer?"

"Those terms sound... agreeable." Said 16 as he continued to charge up his blast. Living in Japan that is. In regards to joining this M.O.N., I am currently unsure. However, it sounds more pleasant than the organization that created me. Removing the bomb is not an easy task. In fact, attempting to remove it may set it off. The bomb has a radius of 20 kilometer radius. Its purpose is to prevent any crucial information from getting out. Even if I were to record myself giving out said information, both innocent animals and humans will suffer. My new designers knew I would never endanger life, so they changed the bomb in my chest as a protective measure."

"I couldn't agree more. As for the bomb in your chest, I have an idea. Sure, attempting to remove the bomb may endanger countless lives, but that's only if we use natural measures. However, because of the cultural exchange, there's no need for that anymore. Countless liminal species possess magical abilities and can remove the bomb without being putting anyone in danger." Said Kuroko Smith.

"I will only agree to those terms if it's guaranteed. But for now, I will focus on killing Cell.

16 had nearly finished charging up his energy, but before he could, Cell was already dealt with by Goten, so he absorbed all the power back into himself. This was yet another ability given to him by Hedo. It did not make him physically stronger or more durable but it greatly enhanced his techniques.

Present.

Goten powered down into base form before descending to where everyone was. His expression was dark. He freed everyone who was trapped in the remains of the webs after Rachnera managed to eat somee of it.

"Oh, come on! I was going to eat that!" Said Rachnera

"Thank you for getting me out of those webs, Goten! I think some of it got in my mouth." Said Tio, but then she noticed Goten's expression. "Hey sweetie... Are you okay?"

He looked over at Papi who now sitting under a tree, which only caused the Saiyan to look down in shame. He knew how close they were, and he was afraid of how she'd react. Regardless, Goten decided to talk anyway.

"My, my that's quite the was quite the newlook, Goten." Said Rachnera as she appeared.

"Hey Rachnera."

"What happened dear? Who exactly was that creature? You're bleeding all over." Said Rachnera.

"It was a threat from the past known as Cell. He's supposed to be dead, but he came back to life somehow. I killed him for the second time, but that won't bring back everyone he absorbed. He even got Suu and the guy who attacked you. He was actually planning on apologizing to you, so I really think he changed, and yet I killed them both when I killed Cell. I understand if you hate me for what I did. I really did try to save them, but I just couldn't. When he started regenerating again, I realized that if I didn't finish him now, then I might not win the fight and if I lost, Cell would have killed everyone on Earth, and Suu and Beytah would suffer a fate worse than death. I-It's still my fault though. Cell came to Japan because he sensed MY energy. None of this would have happened if I didn't go on that stupid field trip!"

"To Goten's surprise, Rachnera hugged him. "Let it out dear. It's good that you're being honest with yourself about your feelings. I was following Centorea for quite some time, So I saw what you did to that insect man. I must say, I never expected such ruthlessness from you. Color me impressed." Rachnera giggled. "In all seriousness, you did what you had to do, so don't beat yourself up over it. If Suu and that android as you called him were alive inside that creature, then it was only a matter of time before you would join them."

"I guess…"

"Rachnera is right, Goten. I wasn't there to witness your entire duel, but I can tell from your injuries that it was a hard-fought battle. I'm sure your father would be proud. You are a true warrior, Goten." Said Centorea.

"So… Suu is really gone?!" Said a tearful Papi.

"I'm so sorry! This will stick with me for as long as I live." Said a depressed Goten.

Seeing Goten, a person who was almost always happy so broken, broke everyone's hearts including Mero. She thought a tragedy was something to strive for, but now one of her friends was gone forever, Goten was likely never going to be the same again, and so many lives were ruined on this day.

'This is the tragedy I always wanted, so why am I not happy? This is different from what I felt earlier when I saw Miia with Dear Sir. In a way, I personally experienced the tragedy too. Suu met her demise, and I wasn't even able to say goodbye to her. I… I… I hate this feeling. It's repulsive and I absolutely loathe it! I would never wish this on anyone!' Mero thought.

"I-I'm going to need some time to myself after we get back home. I have a lot on my mind right now… By the way, who is this?" Goten asked.

"I am designated as Android 16. I was sent here to destroy Cell and retrieve Beta 1. However, it would seem that You have achieved one of my objectives in my place."

"N-NO WAY! YOU'RE ANDROID 16?! MY BROTHER TOLD ME ABOUT YOU!" Goten took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, it's just... my brother felt really guilty about what happened to you in the Cell Games. He hated himself for not being able to save you, but it was your sacrifice that gave him the push he needed to defeat Cell."

"Goten, you know about this guy? How many connections do you have? And the Cell games?" Said Kimihito.

"You could say my family has been fighting the Red Ribbon Army for a long time now. Every time we think we beat them, they always end up coming back. The Cell Games was a tournament where the most powerful fighters would fight against Cell in some kind of World's Martial Arts Tournament. If Cell won, he'd destroy the entire planet. I thought the Cell I fought was another clone because he looked different from all the pictures an videos I saw of him. Anyway, this android encouraged Gohan to defeat Cell during the Cell Games. He sacrificed himself and he became a Super Saiyan 2 and was able to beat Cell and he was only eleven years old!

"Super Saiyan 2? Is that the transformation you used against that Cell creature?"

"Oh, no, I'm not at that level yet! Just your average Super Saiyan! You see, there are only 6 of us who can go Super Saiyan and 3 of us who can't. Out of every Saiyan that can go Super I'm... the weakest. To be fair, I am also the youngest Super Saiyan." Goten bashfully pats the back of his head. "One day that's going to change though! I'll become stronger than them and strong enough to be ready against another foe like Cell!" Said Goten with a strengthened resolve to get stronger.

"The Cell games? I have no recollection of such an event. However, I must ask, who is Gohan to you?"

"Well, he's my big brother." Said Goten.

"So, you are indeed an offspring of Son Goku. There is no data on you, but that would explain your ability to transform. I am... sorry for your loss. I disagreed with what my master did, but by the time I was found, the deed had already been done." Said Android 16

"It's okay I'm not mad at him. He couldn't have predicted that an alien would come to Earth to attack me. I don't blame him for me ending up in this world. Besides if you managed to get here, then it must be possible to go back. If anyone should be sorry, it's me. When I killed Cell, I also killed Beytah, or I guess Beta 1 is his actual name. He was much stronger than me and if I didn't take advantage of him turning into a slime, I would have a lost. I didn't know that would kill the two friends that he absorbed." Goten said sadly.

"You have nothing to be ashamed of. You made the right choice. I understand how you feel. You have a righteous heart and you wish to do what is morally correct. However in life, you'll be faced with times when you will have to make a choice, and the correct choice is not always virtuous. What happened with Cell is a perfect example of this. You desired to save the ones you cared about, but you ultimately saw a chance to finish Cell and you took it. You did this because you understood the threat Cell posed to this world."

"You say that and maybe you're right.. but there's still so much I could have done to prevent all of this! Cell told me that Beta 1, or as I call him Beytah tried to fight him off to protect the innocent and ended up getting absorbed. I could have just ignored him, but I just had to confront him didn't I?! If I had just ignored him, I never would have given him ideas about being a true hero, and this wouldn't have happened!" Goten cried out.

Beta 1 needed someone like you to help him relearn the values of life. He was stubborn, but your words got through to him. The old Beta 1 would have no qualms against killing innocent civilians if they were in the way of him eliminating a criminal. He had a warped perception of what was heroism. He believed that destroying evil is what made a person a hero, but he was oblivious to the reason why a hero fights. Beta 1's last moments as a functioning living being were of him protecting the innocent from Cell. That shows that you have changed him. I'm unsure if this is of any consolation, but he died a true hero." Said Android 16.

Goten sighed "We could have been good friends though... and he was the only person who possibly had a way back home. I guess you're here now and you might have a way back, but that doesn't matter since my actions still caused his death. Even if he died doing something good, he still died because of something I told him and that's on my conscious now. We didn't always have the best relationship. In fact, we really didn't like each other. We met back in my world when he tried to beat me because he thought I stole a disc, and then he got into a battle jacket and recklessly fired missiles in a place with defenseless students. If it wasn't for my friend Trunks, he would have killed them. I was mostly indifferent towards him at the time, but when he came into this world, I really started to dislike him. When I met him again in this world, he kinda tried to kill me... but the fight was pretty fun. If he wasn't going after innocent people, I could have enjoyed myself more, but I knew I couldn't play around anymore so I had to get a little serious near the end of it. After that one incident, he stalked me for some reason and nearly killed Rachnera. I guess he was trying to recruit me towards some cause, but I didn't believe in recklessly taking lives even if those people were criminals. He believed I was naïve to spare criminals, but failed to understand why I showed mercy. I'm not merciful because I think people will magically change, I'm merciful because I'm like you 16. I deeply value life, so I try to prevent any unnecessary deaths. I explained that to him at a later date and he offered to buy me lunch and be my friend. He wanted to understand my sense of justice. I know what I told you about him didn't exactly paint him in a good light, but if his last moments were of him protecting innocent lives, then I think he really did change. I feel like I let him and you down because none of this had to happen."

'What kind of world did he live in?' everyone thought simultaneously except 16.

Beta was exceedingly misguided. He worshiped the man who resurrected him from the dead, but he misunderstood his overall goal. In terms of changing the world, Gero's grandson only desired to make the world a place where humanity could live in relative peace again. His ultimate goal was to create the strongest android who would be a beacon of hope and justice and from the point of view of the Doctor, that meant killing evil people. They were evil, so he felt no remorse for having them killed or experimented on to further his own research. However, this was not to create a perfect world as Beta 1 assumed. If the world were to be a perfect place without crime, the doctor wouldn't be able to continue his research to his heart's content. He wished to create a hero because he was entertained by the idea of a hero of justice, and also because he had to for his new employer to continue funding his research. By all means, he did create a hero who saved the world, but it was through horrendous means and it created a new threat to the people. Perhaps it was out of desperation to save the world, but that's no excuse. I strongly disagreed with what the doctor did, but because I no longer had a purpose, I stayed with him. When I apologized to you for what happened, I was not referring to whatever means you were sent to this world, I was referring to what he did to your-" Android 16's sentence was interrupted by immense pressure. The lake began rippling, and everyone felt a sinister energy in the air. The adversary Goten thought he had defeated was now back and even stronger. What's more he felt a very familiar pressure.

Goten braced himself in a fighting stance as Cell began powering up again, revealing the same golden aura with screeching souls popping out of it. However, something was different. He felt an overwhelming pressure. The feeling was similar to when his father went Super Saiyan Blue, but this was different. Cell's pressure wasn't just overwhelming, but it was sinister. If Cell's malicious intent wasn't clear before, it was now polluting the air around Goten. Cells' horrifying aura went from gold to a scarlet aura that was outlined by a dark shade of red, and the shrieks from his aura were greatly intensified as if they were in even more pain than before. His arms, legs, and the top side of his tail became scaly like Draconis's arms, but unlike the Dragon girl, his scales covered his entire arms, and Draconis didn't have scales on her legs. His bug-like wings were covered in flames that were similar to his aura in color and completely obscured them to the point where they appeared to be simply made of fire. His horns (or whatever you call the thing on Cell's head) were sharper, bent in a crescent shape making the space between them more circular, and had pincers attached to them within that space which completing the bug look. His now scaley forearms had blades protruding out of them that Cell got from absorbing a Kamaitachi. His transformation was now complete and he was enraged.

"H-How? Not only is he alive, but h-he somehow became a God! …You know what? I'm not even mad! That means I can still save my friends!" Said Goten before rushing straight towards Cell.

"Wait!" Android 16 warned.

Goten flew over to hit Cell in the face, but the punch did nothing to him, much to Goten's surprise.

"I'd give you a moment to pray to your God, but there's no point since I won't answer them. It's too late to simply surrender, because as a boy who didn't realize his place on the food chain once said, 'I'm done playing around!" Said Cell smirking. As Cell was charging up an attack, Android 16 brought out all the energy he had been storing earlier and continued adding more power to it. As it happened, everyone backed away from 16.

Cell used Frieza's Last Emperor, a pink energy wave against the Saiyan. Goten blocked with his bare hands. pushing him closer to where everyone was standing. Goten struggled, but that ended when Cell appeared from behind Goten and began punching him in the back and against the ki blast he was defending against, causing an explosion and greatly damaging Goten but was luckily not large enough to damage everyone who was standing behind them. He went up to Goten and rapidly punched him, forcing the Saiyan on the defensive. The two fighters began vanishing around while exchanging blows but while Goten could be seen periodically appearing, throughout the area, Cell was not seen at all. The two ended up clashing fists and the Saiyan was overpowered, sending him into the air and breaking his guard.

'He's too fast! I can barely follow his movements!' Goten thought as he halted himself midair only to be caught off guard by Cell flying straight towards him.

Cell pulled out his tail and once again tried to stab to which the Saiyan narrowly dodged. However instead of repeatedly attempting to jab Goten with his tail, he wrapped it around Goten's neck and began punching him in the face and stomach multiple times. Cell's newly formed dragon arms were much tougher than his previous arms and were capable of dealing damage much greater than Cell's actual battle power. One punch alone was enough to make Goten cough up blood, but Cell punched him in the stomach multiple times before ending it with an uppercut to his chin, knocking him into the air. Cell followed up by shooting a spider web up at Goten, restraining both his arms. Cell flew straight at Goten, and the teenager tried to defend himself with his legs, but Cell vanished and appeared above him before vertically spinning around and slapping him with his tail. Due to his flaming wings, his tail burned Goten along with the ground he was knocked onto. The force was enough to push everyone except 16 back, and Papi ended up hurting her leg further.

As the harpy screamed in pain, Kimihito cried out to her.

"Papi!" Kimihito cried out in concern.

Goten's body bounced off the ground and while he was once again airborne, Cell began rushing past Goten at blinding speeds multiple times, and since Cell now had divine ki, Goten couldn't follow his movements. Every time he went past Goten, he sliced him with his forearm blades, which caused blood to spill from the Saiyan teenager. The blood stained the water below, and some of it even reached the spectators who could only watch in horror as they watched the equivalent of a person being blended. The blood even got on some of them. Miia was an unfortunate case as the young Saiyan's blood got on her face, causing her to faint. If there was anything going in Goten's favor, it was that Cell sliced his own webs. Cell kneed him to the ground and began firing a barrage of red flaming death beams into Goten's non-vital areas causing him immense pain.

From everyone's perspective, this all happened in mere seconds. Now all they could do is observe Cell's bloodthirsty nature upclose.

"As a species, we mermaids typically love tragedies but this... this isn't just tragic, it's meaninglessly cruel! Cell took his father from him and now he's gleefully torturing him! To make matters worse, he plans to devour him alive, to make him a part of him for the rest of eternity and he'll never be granted the sweet release of death. Such a fate is worse than death! Cell is a monster! No... he's far worse than that." Said Mero.

"We must get out of here at once! Although I am uncertain if that will make a difference." Said Centorea.

"In that case, I will stay by his side. It pains me to think that Goten will die here alone thinking we did not care for him." Said Mero.

"Centorea is right. If we stay here, then I think we'll just be a burden. If there's anything Goten's hiding, he won't be able to do it out of fear that we might be caught in the crossfire." Said Smith

"Then I watch from a distance and should he fail, I will be there to die with him. Goten is a precious person and he does not deserve to die alone." Said Mero.

16 had his blasters ready and aimed at Cell. Cell moved so fast that he couldn't track him down. He'd have to wait for Cell to stop moving.

"Humans tend to cook their meat before consumption, but I have always done it raw. This time, I think I'll rip a page out of their book!" Cell pointed his finger to the sky and summoned a scarlet version of Frieza's Supernova. He wasn't even done. Around the supernova was 5 smaller pinkish balls of energy that orbited the supernova. "Oh, and don't think I didn't notice you charging up all that energy 16. This one's especially for you!" Cell fired the attack the entire group.

"NO! YOU'RE INSANE! YOU'LL DESTROY THE ENTIRE PLANET AND YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO OUR WORLD!" Said Goten.

"Don't worry! I'll make sure the planet doesn't get destroyed, but I will wipe out all life on this wretched Earth, and you will survive albeit barely. This isn't anywhere near my full power! You were right about one thing my dear Saiyan! There will be nothing left of me to bury because I was never going to be buried! I am immortal and invincible. You too will achieve that once you become one with me but first... YOU MUST PAY!" Cell fired the blast.

Goten barely managed to stand up. He grits his teeth and a golden flame-like aura surrounds him. "I can't lose here! Cell, you will die where you stand! It's now or never!" Goten formed a tornado-like sphere in his hands like he did earlier and chucked it at the humongous combined energy blast.

"HA!" Goten yelled as he fired up with an uncharged Kamehameha behind the sphere surrounded by whirlwinds forcing it against Cell's attack. Although Cell's attack was much stronger, Goten's Steam Cleaner High-Pressure technique was a condensed ki blast that was true to its name, had high amounts of pressure which was only increased by Goten's Kamehameha.

"Ah, so you're stronger than I thought! Well tell me what are you going to do about those energy spheres orbiting my supernova? Even if you overpower it, they'll still explode and the radius should be enough to at least destroy this country! There will be no where to run boy!

"WHO'S RUNNING? BECAUSE IT'S NOT ME! I'M NOT LEAVING TIL YOU'RE DEAD AND GONE!" Goten yelled as he added more power to his Kamehameha making it large in size.

"I'm grateful! You have allowed me to test my newfound power and soon you will add to it! Think of it as a present from me to you!" Said Cell as he stood in the sky.

"You forgot my present!" Said Android 16 who was now standing under the hill while everyone else was above the hill and behind the sidewalk. as he used all the arm canons on his body to fire two red blasts into the dirt. "HELL'S BURST!"

"Uh, hey so I'm pretty sure you fired in the wrong direction big guy." Sad Doppel.

A shockwave was felt by everyone and red pillars came out of various places in the ground that knocked everyone off balance. 16 calculated where these energy pillars would go and they managed to hit the red Supernova and two of the death balls surrounding it. It did not overpower the attack, but it did weaken it.

"What?! But how?!" Said Cell.

"HAAAAAAAA!" Goten hit Cell at full power. The Steam Cleaner High-Pressure ki blast was pushed through the Supernova attack and effectively made it look like a donut. It flew right into where Cell was standing. The gigantic ki blast from Cell was pushed into the sky and before the Supernova could explode, a twister formed from inside of it, ripping the ki blast apar and instead of red explosion that could annihilate all civilization, a much smaller blue explosion appeared instead that was only slightly large than the blast that had just been shot into space.

*Huff... Wheeze* Goten was out of breath. He had used up most of his energy in that attack. He was hurt badly by Cell. He had cuts all over his body, he was bruised, and he was bleeding a lot. It was painful for the young Saiyan but it wasn't something he couldn't recover from. At the very least Cell was dead right?

...

WRONG! Cell appeared in front of 16 and fired a ki blast at him, which seemingly destroyed the android

"16!" Goten cried out.

Cell grabbed Goten by the neck and slammed him against the same tree that Goten pinned him against earlier.

"It's been fun but now it's time that we become one brother." Cell began ruthlessly punching Goten in the stomach. He stopped for a second to let Goten talk. "Any last words?"

"If we're brothers then consider yourself disowned!" Goten made a finger gun and shot Cell in the eye with a ki bullet that was emitted from the tip of his index finger.

"ARGH, YOU JUST SEALED YOUR FATE!" Cell proceeded to shoot a spider web against Goten's abdomen so he'd be stuck against the tree and proceeded to ruthlessly beat Goten more. His draconic arms were being stained with Goten's blood.

"STOP HURTING HIM!" Tio exclaimed but Cell ignored her.
"AGHH!" Goten yelped as he coughed up more blood. Cell didn't stop. Some of Goten's blood got on Cell's face, and Cell once again licked it off and looked Tio directly in the eyes while doing it. Cell then stabbed Goten in the liver with his arm left arm blade and then squeezed his head like a grape albeit not enough to kill him and slammed it against the tree. The pressure of the squeeze caused Goten to revert to base form and nearly fall unconscious. Of course, the spectators did not take kindly to this.

"I can the life fading from your eyes, but your good friend Cell can save you. Just become accept that you were meant to be a part of me and all your troubles will fade away. You live forever and no one will ever hurt you ever again." Cell's voice was as chilling as

"CELL! I SWEAR ON MY HONOR AS A CENTAUR, I WILL SEE TO IT THAT YOU PERISH!" Centorea rushed at Cell, with a claymore in hand. "NOW UNHAND HIM AT ONCE!" It was a valiant effort, but Centorea's claymore broke on his skin."

"Impossible…" She said.

"Hahaha, it's futile. You're all too weak." Said Cell. "Now where was I? Ah yes, I was about to enjoy a rare delicacy."

"How could you do this?! Surely if it's strength you desired, you could have achieved that yourself!" Said Mero.

"I could but here's the thing. I could get stronger from training but aborbing vermin such as yourself is much moree enjoyable to me. Besides, I can get new abilities from doing so. Said Cell.

"You make me completely and utterly sick to my stomach!" The mermaid retorted.

"Yeah, well I hope Saiyan child doesn't do the same to me." Cell laughed at hisi own twisted joke. Cell looked back at Goten and saw the Saiyan losing consciousness while looking at him angrily.

"What's wrong, nothing cute to say? That's fine by me. After all, food isn't supposed to talk, it's supposed to scream. Are you aware of how a spider consumes its prey? They bite into their prey to inject a venom that melts the insides of their prey and then they they suck it up. This is similar to how I normally absorb my victims. However, you... you are special Goten. You are family... and family should stick together. I'm sure Gohan shared the same sentiment before his fate. Because you are special I will not devour you in the traditional way. I will swallow you up. If it's any consolation, you get to keep your life. Now fulfill your destiny and become one with me."

All Goten could do was stare at Cell in contempt.

Cell sadistically chucked as his tail faced Goten, it opened up. All Goten could do was look at the fleshy insides of the tail. He found that it was like a second mouth that could swallow him whole. Inside the tail were countless rows of teeth that pointed inward which were likely there to prevent prey from escaping. Goten knew exactly what Cell was planning, but he had already used up too much energy to protect himself. Goten braced himself for the worst, but somehow it never came.

"Fu fu! My, my what do we have here? A poor little insect caught in my web. I'm afraid that tail of yours won't work the same anymore." Said Rachnera who on the tree that Goten had been pinned to. She had tied up Cell's limbs and congested the inside of his tail with too much thread. Cell's tail was capable of swallowing an entire human whole, but Rachnera placed threads that were enough to completely cover 5 human bodies. A spider's silk is harder than steel and an Arachne's silk is even harder. Cell acids were able to burn away at the silk, but there was too much for it to burn away all at once.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Cell was beyond frustrated at all the interruption.

"I should ask you the same. Who do you think you are? I don't take kindly to people ripping off my bondage techniques, especially not little insects like you. Not only did you rip me off, but you did something I couldn't do. You managed to restrain this boy. That won't go unpunished bug. Oh, and your webs tasted awful so that will add to your punishment too." Said Rachnera. Although she wouldn't outright say it, she was furious at Cell for what he did to Goten.

"You know I'm not restrained, right? You're too weak and for what you did, I will make your death slow and painful!" Said Cell.

"Is that a fact? Well, I think there's a certain someone who will disagree."

"Move out the way!" Android 16 yelled.

Rachnera happily obliged and everyone else got as far away from 16's line of fire.

"Oh, it's just 16. I see you survived my earlier blast, but you seem to be missing an arm. As you can see busy but I'll make sure to put you out of your misery afterwards.

"Then readjust your schedule!" Android 16's arm transformed into some sort of giant canon. A gigantic ball of energy appears in front of it, but instead of a large beam, it fires a laser. Not thinking it would do anything, Cell placed his tail over Goten's head, completely hiding it from the world. However before Cell could suck him in, Android 16's laser pierced Cell through his size, and the attack prevented Cell from moving anymore.

"Take the boy and run! I'll hold him off!" Said 16.

Rachnera retrieved Goten using more of her webs, and Centorea moved out of the way while holding her broken claymore.

"How dare you take what's mine!" Cell shouted.

After she moved out the way, 16's small laser turned into a massive beam of light that completely engulfed Cell. After absorbing Cell, it the beam of light began changing directions while remaining a straight line and it continued to move forward. When it reached the Aquarium, it went to the sky, and the beam of light was still changing directions until it reached the stratosphere. After the beam dissipated, Cell dropped to the ground. He was met by Android 16 standing above him.

"Cell, I have increased the gravity of your insides. Surrender is recommended." Said 16 as the giant arm canon reverted back to his normal arm.

"You may have weakened me a little, but you're still not a threat. I see Hedo modified your abilities since we last met, but that still won't save you. You're far too weak to damage me without your toys, and even then, they're useless if you can't charge them up. I won't give you that chance. I haven't forgotten what you did to me when we first came to this world. I've been waiting to get my revenge on you since. You're lucky I was preoccupied earlier."

"You'll fail just like before, but this time you will be eliminated. You may be more powerful than I am, however you are currently unable to fly and you should be severely weakened by now.

"I don't need to fly to destroy the likes of you!" Cell proclaimed.

At this moment, the Japanese military showed up. "ATTENTION UNAUTHORIZED LIMINAL, SURRENDER NOW OR WE WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE FORCE!" Said a voice on the megaphone. Jets surrounded the area, and there were also tanks.

"This is the perfect time for a demonstration" Cell was unable to move now that the midsection of his body weighed far to much. He was beginning to sink into the Earth itself, but before that Cell turned his head around as if he were an owl and shot lasers out of his eyes, slicing all the jets in two in one fell swoop. He then lowered his head and destroyed the tanks too. "That will be you in a moment 16!"

"I won't let you harm another living being in this world!" Said Android 16. The Android flew away and shot his left fist at Cell

'What?! Does this actually affect me?! Even if 16 had to put all the power he was storing into that last attack, I should still be far superior to him!' Cell thought.

"Well, you should have taken my opportunity to surrender. Now that you have killed more innocent people, I no longer have a reason to hold back. I was not simply waiting to fire at you. When Goten had seemingly defeated you before, I had absorbed the energy I stored. You may have removed my arm but my energy is now 8 times as more efficient than before." Said android 16 before frying Cell with a one-armed version of Hell's Burst.

"WHY YOU!" Cell tried to fly after 16, but he was quickly reminded that he could no longer fly. The android fell over as the one with the mohawk got closer.

"This is your end Cell." said 16 while pointing a blaster at Cell up close. The bio-android grit his teeth and caught 16's legs within the middle of the crest on his head. He tried rip of his leg with his his pincers. They managed to pierce through the leg, but 16 fired a blast at Cell's back before he could rip it off. Android 16 was an android in the literal sense meaning he did not feel pain. Cell was effectively blown in the half blast. 16 intended to kill Cell with that attack but it failed and Cell had nothing left but his upper toros. Fortunately for Cell, Frieza's cells allowed him to survive this injury. Unfortunately for cell it was extremely painful for him.

"I-I'll destroy you and the entire damn Red Ribbon army!" Said Cell.

"I no longer serve them. I found a new purpose and that's protecting life from those who wish to harm it." Said 16 nonchalantly.

Suddenly Cell began laughing and flew up to the sky with less than half of his body. "You know, you just saved me the trouble of doing that myself! Now you're little gravity technique is null!" Cell regenerated his lower legs. "That took out a lot from me... but I still have more than enough strength to destroy you." Cell was breathing heavily. Before Android 16 knew it, Cell had stabbed him in the chest with his arm. The Android literally could not sense his movement.

"It's time we part ways, old friends. It's bittersweet but only because you don't feel pain and I won't get the satisfaction of making you suffer. Well I guess absorbing Goten and destroying the life you love so much will suffice. You can permanently shut down knowing that fact." Cell laughed as he began to leave but was kicked in the back with a flying foot. The foot managed to hurt Cell, but at the same time, it melted the foot due to Cell's hot flaming wings. Not even water was able to distinguish it.

"You don't know when to qu- Cell was interrupted by 16 attacking him with a blade that came out of his leg where the foot had been removed. Cell countered with his left forearm blade. The two clashed many times with their blades. Eventually, Cell decided to take the 16's foot sword head-on. Cell intentionally let the blade touch his left Draconic arm. Android 16 added some of his remaining charged-up power to the sword which allowed him to cut a little of Cell's arm but was not able to cut through completely. Cell punched 16 in where his nuts would be and when 16 was pushed back, he opened his arm cannon and fired out of his arm minigun that rapidly fired into Cell. After being turned into Swiss cheese, Cell puts up an energy barrier, but 16's energy bullets go through that too.

"WHAT?! NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! ME OVERWHELMED BY THIS... THIS USELESS PIECE OF SCRAP METAL?!" The canon part of Android 16's arm began glowing red as 16's energy bullets were turning Cell into swiss cheese. Android 16 fired one final Hell's burst at Cell, but it did nothing more than slightly damage him.

"Oh no!" Said 16.

"That blast was weaker than it was before... Wait, I get it. You ran out of the energy you absorbed from your new modified weapons. Oh, how tragic. You should have conserved your power but you were desperate to finish me off so you used too much power. Before I destroy you, there are some things I'd like to say. From the moment we met, I despised you on a deeper level than you realize. I already disliked you for what you did to me along with the constant torment I dealt with for a year. I hated how you followed orders from Hedo, your love of life, your peace-loving nature, but most of all, I hated your number."

"My number?"

"YES, YOUR NUMBER YOU IMBECILE! EVERY MOMENT I WAS TRAPPED IN THAT ABHORENT TANK AND I SAW YOU WALK BY, I WAS REMINED OF WHAT I COULDN'T HAVE! YOUR NUMBER IS 16, WHICH IS RIGHT BEFORE THE NUMBER 17, AND 17 IS RIGHT BEFORE 18! YOU WERE A CONSTANT REMINDER THAT I COULD NEVER ACHIEVE MY PERFECT FORM IN THIS WORLD!"

"That's... really petty." Said 16

"IS IT?! I COULDN'T EVEN COMFORT MYSELF BY ABSORBING YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE COMPLETELY MECHANICAL! THE ONLY ONE I HATE MORE THAN YOU IS ALPHA ZERO AND HE'S NEXT AFTER I ABSORB GOTEN! ...Well it matters no more. This is where we part ways. SAY GOODBYE MY LOATHSOME ENEMY! A PATHETIC DEATH FOR A WORTHESS MACHINE! GOODBYE!" Cell fired a small energy blast at 16 as if to show him that he had more than enough power to beat him with a single energy blast just to disrespect him. 16 closed his eyes."

'I only hope you were able to get away safely Goten. I enjoyed your company. I'm sure you'll grow strong enough to save your brother' These were Android 16's last thoughts... If Goten didn't appear to kick the ki blast into space.

"Ah, how kind of you to save me the trouble of hunting you down. After what I dealt with, I deserve an easy break." Said Cell.

"The only thing getting broken is you, because there's no killing a soulless monster. You can only be destroyed and that's exactly what we're going to do!" Said Goten.

Earlier with the main group

Shortly after Goten was stabbed, he slumped down on the bottom of the tree, covering the bark with his blood. Miia had awoken at an inopportune time. Saw Goten's body after what Cell did to him.

"Oh my gosh! What did Cell do to him! He's going to die if we don't do anything! Please tell me this is a horrible nigihtmare!" Said Miia.

"Goten, speak to me!" Said Centorea to the wounded teenager. Blood was leaking from right under his hair, his exposed abdomen was covered in cuts, he had many bruises all over his body, there was a burn across his face, and he was out of breath. Goten had went unconscious for a bit, but he recovered.

"I-I'm okay. I need time to recover and then I'll be back in the fight!"

"No, it's far too dangerous! You need to go to a hospital" Centorea responded to his insistence on fighting Cell.

"There's no time! If I leave, he will destroy everything and track me down! I already lost my home once, and I don't want to lose this one too! Centorea, you vowed to protect Kimihito right?

"Yes, but I fail to see how that's relevant right now."

"Then do you remember my vow?"

"Yes, you said as long as you lived with us, you would protect us, but you won't be able to do that in this state! He'll devour you, and then he'll wreak havoc on the rest of the world!"

"Centorea, when I said that, I meant I would protect this entire world. You weren't here before when that monster Cell told everyone, but the truth about me is I'm a part of an alien species known as the Saiyans. They were a race of warriors who used to conquer and sell planets before they were almost completely wiped out."

"Goten, this hardly the time for jests! You're dying!"

"No, I am dead serious. It's all true."

Centorea stared at Goten blankly. She didn't know how to process this new information. At first, she was in disbelief, but after seeing and hearing what Goten did, she didn't think that was so farfetched. However, she had trouble believing someone as gentle as Goten would ever do something like that, especially after what he did for her master when he was sick.

My dad was sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it, but he was raised by a good man who taught him about morality. Because of my dad, us Saiyans went from conquerors to protectors, but the Saiyans never stopped being proud warriors. From one warrior race to another, you understand right? I have to do this because I don't who will?"

"I do understand, but if you're truly one of the last of your kind, then fighting Cell as you are now would endanger your entire species even further! Are you truly willing to go that far?" Said the Centaur

"Centorea, the Saiyan's were never meant to be here, and we aren't a dying species, we're a growing one! We may have been brought to near extinction but we're living on through humanity, and we're far better than we used to be. I may not be a real warrior like my dad, but my body is literally built for situations like this. You know, Android 16 was killed by the very same monster before I was even born. However, because of him, my brother ascended to the level above the transformation that you saw me in. He blamed himself for his death, but I guess he was rebuilt. If 16 was rebuilt, then I won't let him die again."

"You can die here. You must know that." Said Centorea.

"I do, but that doesn't change my answer. I'm going."

"Very well. If that is your resolve, then it would be a dishonor to prevent you from fulfilling your duty. Move forth brave warrior, and vanquish the beast known as Cell."

Goten smiled at the Centaur. "I will." Goten slowly gets up and charges his energy and lets out a loud yell.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Goten was covered in a yellow aura, and his hair went from black to blonde. He was now ready to fly back into the battle."

Back with Android 16 and Cell.

"It's over Cell! I haven't fully recovered, but you're not at 100% either. I feel a lot stronger than I was before though, and with Android 16's help, I know I can beat you!"

"It was foolish of you to come back, but don't think I don't appreciate you ending the hunt earlier."

"Oh, there's still a hunt going on. You just happen to be the prey now." Said Goten.

"You can certainly talk big. Care to back it up, big boy?"

"I'll do you one better! Come on 16, let's go!"

"Although it is unwise to fight Cell in your current condition, you assistance is appreciated. Remember, if you get absorbed, this world will end."

"Oh, I know that but i'm not getting absorbed! I'm going to survive and when I do, i'm going to find Gohan and tell him you're still alive!

"You both are too weak, but before I claim my prize, I'll finish what I started! But before that, I got something else to show you." Said Cell.

OST: Must Die – Blazblue

Cell stood in front of the destroyed aquarium as he charged up his energy. "HAAAAAAAAAAH!" A pink aura surrounds Cell as the souls of his victims shriek in agony. Goten and Android 16 brace themselves for combat as 7 more tails grow out from the base of his tail, making the number of tails he had 8 just like Yamata no Orochi.

"Goten, I'll advise you not to hold back to save your friends. They're too far gone. You have to fight to kill him."

"I know that, but I couldn't live with myself if I murdered Suu or Beytah."

"It's them or the world Goten. If you don't kill him, Cell will kill everyone."

"I know but…"

Just then, Cell stopped powering up.

"I've been waiting to use this power to its full extent, but I'm afraid I require a sacrifice to test it on. Ah, yes. You will suffice." Said as he pointed at 16.

He then flew straight towards him, leaving a pink trail of his aura behind him. Before he could hit 16, Goten pushed him out of the way with his shoulder and blocked the punch himself. Goten continued to block the punch as and Cell was pushing him back.

"You wish to take his place? Well, I'm happy to oblige!" Said Cell.

As he was pushing him with the punches Cell pulled out 4 of his tails and opened them up in an attempt to absorb Goten with one of them. 16 came from behind, but Cell hit him with the back of his fist as his main focus was on Goten. Android 16 was knocked away but he followed up by shooting his fist like a rocket at Cell. The Bio-Android used one of his tails to knock it aside. However, 16 wasn't done. He fired multiple energy bullets at Cell, but Cell put his left arm behind him and countered with his a yellow ball of energy, that overpowered 16's attack, and forced him to put up an energy barrier to avoid being destroyed. After blasting 16 away, Cell kneed Goten in the stomach, and then the roundhouse kicked him. Thinking Goten was too injured and out of stamina to fight back, Cell flew in front of him, opened up one of his tails, and descended it over Goten's head. Goten caught the tail, and it's weight pushed him against the ground with incredible force, damaging the ground below his feet. To avoid being absorbed, Goten fired a powerful ki blast inside of Cell's tail, destroying it. The blast knocked Cell into the air.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" How are you still able to fight?! Even without your injuries, your form should have depleted your stamina!" Said Cell.

"I mastered Super Saiyan at a young age and with all that information on Saiyan's, you should know a few injuries aren't enough to do me in. Said Goten.

"Is that so..."

The bio android exposed his arm blades and tucked them behind his wings, setting them aflame. Cell then proceeded to fly around Goten at high speed while slicing him just as he had done before. However, this time, Cell only got 5 cuts in before Goten caught the blades which made the Saiyan teenager hands bleed. The Saiyan suffered severe burns from each cut.

"You got stronger and faster at an alarming rate. You grow at a faster rate than even Goku and Vegeta did. You will be so worth the trouble of absorbing you." Said Cell.

Cell pulled out his 7 tails to pierce his neck to paralyze Goten's neck, and in response, Goten tilted his own body so that Cell's back was facing the ground, and boosted into him, hitting the Bio-Android in the stomach with a barrage of punches into the ground. Goten flew up into the air, and Android 16 appeared by his side. Goten attacked Cell with the same ball of energy that lit up the river earlier, and 16 used Hell's Burst once again. A few lasers came out of the ground albeit not as many as before. Out of one of the holes created, bolted up and attempted to ambush Goten with his tails.

"GOTEN, BEHIND YOU!" 16 exclaimed.

Because Cell had God ki now, this caught Goten by surprise. Cell once again tried to swallow Goten whole, but Goten used super explosive wave that was at least 50 meters wide out of instinct. The radius destroyed a portion of the lake sidewalk that was on the opposite side of where Goten first confronted Cell.

"HAAAAAAAAAAH!" energy bursts from all over Goten's body, creating a large explosion that was. Cell's body was armored, but the explosive wave entered Cells body causing him immense pain and destroying the tail he tried to absorb Goten with from the inside. Cell still had 7 tails, but one of them couldn't be moved anymore. It still boosted his power due to absorbing the very same Yokai that gave him God ki. At his current distance, the Bio-Android stretched out the 6 working tails at Goten as if they were made of rubber. This time, he didn't open them up, but instead kept them as stingers. The first tail came from the bottom, and Goten flew up, avoided the stinger and stomped the part of the tail behind the stinger. He then rushed towards Cell.

"You're fast but you can only avoid so much!" Said Ceell.

Cell was rapidly trying to hit Goten with one of his tails while shooting rapid-fire ki blasts at him. The bio android had also concentrated ki in his flaming wings to set his tails on fire as he tried to hit the Saiyan. Goten formed a ball of energy in his hands, dodging every tail that rapidly tried to jab him while being grazed by some of the ki blasts. Goten then bolted over to to the bio-android as a single stream of energy surrounded by a gust of wind that rammed into Cell's gut. After using Cyclone Style Tornado Hurricane against Cell once more, he swung his left fist, and as Cell was pushed back by the force, Goten chucked the ki blast at him with his right. Goten wasn't strong enough to hurt Cell normally, but the Saiyan had used a ki blast to temporarily increase his battle power while using another ki technique. The combined attack made an explosion that was easily 10 times larger than Cell himself. Before the explosion could even turn into smoke, Android 16 appeared above Cell and fired a weaker version of the attack he used to change Cells gravity. The beam hit Cells head but did not pierce it. However, when the beam expanded, it made the explosion twice as large. Cell emerged from the smoke injured by the two, but that was about it. Due to his Dragon scales, Cell was still too durable to take any serious damage that wasn't internal.

Goten and 16 tried to follow up by attacking Cell from opposite sides, but Cell blocked both of their punches with a block and slapped both of them away with his tails.

"NOW BE OBLITERATED BY MY OVERWHELMING MIGHT!" Cell proclaimed.

Cell's body was enveloped in a gigantic white aura surrounded by blue and green lightning. Omnidirectional rays emitted from the massive flame of energy with the same color of lightning.

"I'M SURE YOU APPRECIATE THIS ONE SAIYAN! AFTER ALL, I GOT IT FROM YOUR DEARLY DEPARTED FRIEND!"

This angered Goten, making him grit his teeth as he was reminded of why he was so enraged earlier. Cell began rotating his aura which in turn caused the rays to move as well causing mass destruction to the surrounding area below. The range of the lasers was so wide that it reached both the Aquarium and the lake. After Goten left to fight Cell, Kimihito and Co decided to leave using the staircase where the fight started in order to get away as quickly as possible. They figured Goten should be fine since he had backup, but the area was still very much unsafe. However, that plan was put to an end when one of Cells lasers moved pasts the staircase, destroying it.

"What's going on over there?!" Said Kimihito.

"I don't know, but whatever is happening, it must be the work of that Cell creature. We need to get going!" Said Centorea."

"Goten and that metal man are really trying their hardest! I do hope they're both okay!" Said Mero.

"They will be! I know Goten and 16 will win because they're the good guys, and good guys always win!" Said Papi who was being gently carried by Kimihito due to her broken talon.

"EVERYONE, MOVE OUT THE WAY!" Ms. Smith warned as one of the white rays almost came close to them, nearly disintegrating them all.

As Goten and Android 16 were dodging the rays that Cell rotated mostly to destroy Android 16 since he still want to absorb him for psychological warfare. Goten saw this, but he also saw that one of the rays was catching up to a retreating android 16. Goten rushed towards Kimihito's group and twirled his right arm around, forming a tornado around his hand. He punched a twister at the group moving them away from the white electric ray that was about to kill them. Of course the twister wasn't painful at all and was manipulated to be for transportation and nothing more. Knowing Papi was injured, he caught her in his arm, and airpunched Android 16 from a distance to get him out of harm's way. Goten was so much physically stronger than 16 that it knocked him away from the battlefield. After rotating the rays for a bit, they subsided.

*Pant… Pant…* Cell was tired out from the technique.

"Wow, you're amazing Goten!" Said Papi.

"You look so angelic like this Goten! Tell me, have you ever taken an interest in fashion?" Mero asked.

"You really think so?" Goten bashfully pats the back of his head, forgetting for a moment that he was in an intense battle. His bashful face turned into a serious look as he stared at Cell above and took off after him. The two fighters began rapidly punching, kicking, and elbowing each other blow for blow. Android 16 appeared from behind Cell and began firing energy bullets at his back. Normally this attack wouldn't do a thing to Cell, but he was caught off guard, so it staggered him, allowing Goten to hit him. There was a small problem and that was that Goten's punches were too weak to even slightly move Cell so he began hitting him with rapid energy punches that were surrounded by a golden flaming aura, but this still did no damage. Cell briefly turned into a Slime, allowing both Goten's punches and 16's bullets to phase right through him. He grabbed Goten's arm and slapped him away with one of his 7 tails with Dragon Scales, causing him to cup his face in his hands due to how hard they were. He then rushes at Android 16 and seemingly hit's him all over the place at the same time before slamming him to where the stairs were. Goten was now around the same spot where the conflict with Cell.

"IT'S BEEN FUN, BUT OUR TIME HAS COME TO AN END! I"D SAY REST IN PEACE BUT…" Cell fired a gigantic yellow beam from his fingers right through 16's abdomen, creating a hole through him. "You never had a soul. Now burn in the flames of hell you won't be able to experience after I remove you from this plane of existence, Android! Cell formed 7 red flaming balls of energy above him, each being easily the size of Frieza's Supernova. He then fused all 7 of them together, creating a red flaming ball of energy resembling some kind of red star. Cell looked down and saw the people who Goten protected survived his last attack."

"You the saying, knocking two birds with one stone? WELL NOW THERE WILL BE NO BIRDS AND NO STONES, AND MOST OF ALL NO MORE INTERFERENCE! IT'S FUTILE SAIYAN, IF YOU TRY TO PREVENT IT, YOU TOO WILL BE VAPORIZED, AND YOU WOULDN'T RISK THE FATE OF THE PLANET NOW WOULD YOU?! IF YOU DIE, THERE WILL BE NO ONE ELSE WHO CAN DEFEND AGAINST ME!" Cell launched the attack where 16 was lying, and the girls weren't able to go anywhere due to how damaged everything was.

Everyone saw as a giant divine flame came flying towards them.

"I-Is this it?" Said Kimihito is complete disbelief. He was aware that he could die because someone sent him a death letter, but now everyone else was going to die. He wanted to cry, but he was so shocked that no tears fell down his cheeks."

"Darling, I-" Miia didn't get to finish her sentence as Goten stood infront of the group.

"I WON'T LET YOU! EVEN IF IT KILLS ME, I WON'T LET YOU HURT ANYONE ELSE! KAAAAAAA…..MEEEEEEEEEE….HAAAAAAAAA…MEEEEEEEEE….HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Goten went for a fully charged Super Kamehameha.

"YOU IMBECILE! THERE'S NO WAY YOU'll SURVIVE THIS TECHNIQUE! …SO BE IT THEN! AT MY CURRENT LEVEL OF STRENGTH AND NEW ABILITIES, I DON'T NEED YOU TO DESTROY THE LIKES OF GOHAN! SAY GOODBYE SAIYAN!"

The force of the Kamehameha wave and Cell's Fox Fire Flame ball caused an earthquake, causing some of the people who actually had legs to fall over onto the ground below. For a split second it seemed even, but then Cells miniature red sun began overpowering Goten, slowly consuming his Kamehameha.

"I-Is this the end? A-Are we all going to die?" Kimihito was stunned. He knew he could die sense there was someone who sent him a death threat but now it wasn't just him at risk. It was everyone, not just his friends and loved ones, but from what that monster said, every single person in the country that he grew up in, along with the country itself. Kimihito wasn't a person who cried a lot, not even after getting the death threat, but here he silently wept.

Miia had a worried look on her face, but she noticed Kimihito was shaking, so she slithered to him and embraced him from behind. Not with her tail, but with her arms. "Darling… I don't know if we'll make it out alive, but I want you to know I will always love you." Said Miia.

"Miia, before you came into my life, things got really lonely. My parents were both working abroad, which left me home alone. I did have friends, but after high school, we all sort of went our separate ways. This isn't to say I had no one to talk to, but things did get depressing. What I'm saying is… You're important to me. You all are, and if I'm going to die today, I'm glad it was with you all."

"NO, 16, PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE OKAY!" Papi cried at seeing the downed body of her new friend.

"Damn it! We got so far too! …Wait I have an idea. It may not help much, but if there's a chance, then we have to take it! M.O.N, fire at Cell! At the very least, we can distract him!" Said Smith.

"Alright, say no more! YOU HEAR THAT BUG BREATH! YOU'RE GOING DOWN" Said Zombina!

"This will teach you not to mess with my Goten!" Said Tio.

"Ready… Aim… FIRE!" Said Manako.

"I'm sending you back to whatever dark void you came from!" Said Doppel.
Every member of M.O.N began firing at Cell. They even received backup from the military who rejoined the battle.

"What the hell is that thing?! It's like a mini sun!" Said one of the men in the jets.

"I don't know, but peace isn't an option! What we do know is that bug is our target and the kid and that cyborg with the mohawk at the very least share the same enemy as us! Everyone get ready!" Said another man in a jet. They began firing missiles at Cell, but as expected, they did nothing.

Cell laughed at their efforts. "Aw, how cute! These weaklings think they can protect you! Take solace in the fact that I'm allowing you to die together! It's the least I could do. After all,… You'll never see your brother again when I send him to hell!"

"So, this is what you've been hiding all this time," Rachnera said to herself out loud. 'It doesn't come as a shock to me that he's not human, or at the very least not completely human. It's no wonder he felt no fear towards me when we first met. Just when I thought I had him all figured out, my perception of him changed yet again. What I saw earlier from him earlier, was his true nature? Well, it's not like we Arachne aren't vicious either. Whether he's a ruthless killer or a naïve child, it doesn't matter. He's the only chance we have at survival.' Rachnera was sweating as she saw the large flame ball slowly descending consuming Goten's energy, both from the heat and from fear.

Centorea stared at Goten's back as he struggled to push back Cell's attack. 'To think that all this time, you were such a renowned warrior and yet I once again failed to deliver the respect you rightfully deserved. I'm well aware it's too late, but I no longer think of you as a mere child. You have earned my respect as a true warrior.' Centorea thought before turning to Kimihito. "Master, it's imperative that we leave as fast as we can. If Goten should prove to be victorious, we don't know what will happen next."

"I-Is it even possible?" Said Kimihito dejected.

"Master, I won't lie to you. The odds do not appear to be in our favor, but we mustn't lose hope! Get on my back and we'll flee to a safe area. Now is not the time to cower in fear!" The Centaur replied.

"Cerea…" Kimihito replied.

"Centorea's right! Goten taught me a very important lesson, but I didn't understand at first. Now I see it clearly. I don't want to lose you or anyone! I no longer desire a tragic experience. I just… I want to live happily with the man I love, and if this creature wins, that will no longer be possible! Goten held such a positive outlook on life. Even in the face of all my tragedies, he always thought of a positive outcome. Poor Goten lost everything, he had to come face to face with the monster who killed his father, and according to that same beast, something happened to his elder sibling and yet as a testament to his courage, he's still willing to fight for a positive future! I thought a tragedy was supposed to end with the hero or their loved ones being broken, never to recover ever again, but Goten subverts those expectations! So much has happened to him within such a short time frame, and yet he's never stopped living! He's truly an inspiration to us all! Dear sir… If it's alright with you, I'd like to stay here to cheer Goten on." Said Mero.

"I'll stay too! I know Goten can win! He has too! I want to get to know him better!" Said Miia."

"It's unsafe here! We must leave at once!" Said Centorea.

"At this point, we might as well see this through and cheer on Goten while we're at it. Try as you might, you'd never be able to outrun that big ball of flames." Rachnera replied.

"Then… I'll stay too!" Said Kimihito with newfound sense of hope.

"Very well. I will stand by your side for even in the face of certain death, I will remain your loyal servant!"

"GOTEN, YOU CAN DO IT!" Everyone shouted except M.O.N who were too busy trying to distract Cell, and Papi who was sobbing over another one of her friends being taken away from her. That was until the man got up despite having a hole in his chest."

"16! You're back! Yay!" Said Papi.

"Affirmative. Cell failed to destroy me, a mistake he won't live to regret." Android 16 walked beside Goten.

"Android 16! You're alright!" Said Goten as he struggled to push back to giant flaming ball of divine energy.

Android 16 began charging an attack "Goten, we need to proceed with caution. My Hell Burst is a powerful technique, but I only possess one arm. However the true power of that technique does not lie in brute strength, but rather the ability to destabilize energy. Cell However has a unique type of energy, so at most I can weaken the blast if even that. I also run the risk of destroying your attack should they intertwine.

"I-I don't know! There has to be a way to save them!" Said Goten.

Goten now isn't the time to think about saving your friends who have already been absorbed! If you don't use all the power you have, then you and everyone else on this planet is doomed to die! Think of everyone who Cell has hurt and what he's going to destroy! You may have not been able to protect everyone, but if you can overpower Cell, then no more souls will have to suffer a his hands! I know you have rage towards Cell. Let it all out and remember that you're setting your friends free from an eternity of being a part of Cell."

"…You're right! I had a chance to kill him, but I didn't take it because I was so desperate to save my own friends. I'll hate myself for this, but I swear on their lives that I won't let Cell hurt anyone else!" Said Goten.

And with that, Goten's energy burst, and his Kamehameha doubled in size.

"WHAT?!" Cell exclaimed.

"HELL BURST!" 16 shouted as his technique was finally ready to be fired. He narrowly avoided Goten's gigantic wave of energy and hit the flame. As predicted, it was unable to destroy it due to Cell's godly energy, the flame ball nearby. The flames from the ball were falling on the ground below, catching a bit of the ground on fire. However, the longer 16 fired, the more they were able to push back the scarlet flame.

"SO WHAT IF YOU WEAKENED MY TECHNIQUE?! I ONLY NEED TO ADD MORE FORCE! CRIMSON CARNATION!" Cell yelled as he fired a Super Galick Gun at the miniature red.

"I'M COMING AT YOU WITH EVERYTHING THAT I AM! FULL POWER! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" The entire ground began shaking as Goten tapped into whatever hidden power he had and powered up his Kamehameha even further. 16 kept firing the Hell Burst and now the beam struggle was looking more even. The Kamehameha hit Cell's divine attack at the distance that was perfectly between Cell and Goten. Eventually, Goten began to overpower Cell.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU BOTH AND THEN I WILL GO BACK IN TIME TO ACHIEVE PERFECTION!" Cell cried out.

"DO IT!" Everyone yelled before Goten and 16's combined attack pushed Cell's attack back at him.

"YOU HAVEN'T WON YET!" Cell blocks with his arms that still had dragon tails. He then puts out all 6 of his working tails in front of him, then proceeds to put up a barrier. "YOU MAY OVERPOWER ME, BUT THIS IS FAR FROM OVER!" Cell exclaimed. However before he knew it, the Kamehameha penetrated his flaming ball attack and was now pushing directly against his energy forcefield.

"Is that all you got?! That's not nearly enough to defeat me!" Said Cell and then something happened. Cell noticed cracks in his forcefield.

"NO! NO! NO! NO!" Said Cell in absolute terror as he was sent to space with his breaking force field. After Cell passed the clouds, the force field was completely broken, and he was now down to his last defense. His draconic arms and tails, block the beam directly. However, the beam overpowered those two and completely swallowed his body.

"I CAN'T DIE HERE! NOT WHEN I WAS SO CLOSE!" As his body began to disintegrate. The gargantuan blue pillar of energycould be seen from looking down at the earth.

After the final clash with Cell, Goten depowered into his base from before falling over on his back.

"I- *Pant* I did it." Said Goten before falling on his back.

"Goten are you alright?! You look terrible! Listen you did great out there! Now let's get you all fixd up. " Said Miia as she starred at the shirtless boy who was covered in cuts, bruises, scratches, and was bleeding all over his body."

"Oh hey, Miia… Relax, I'll be fine… I just feel guilty about what I had to do."

"Goten, I understand how you feel, but if you didn't kill Cell, he would have done the same to everyone else. You love life itself, so it must really hurt that you had to take one." Said Kimihito.

"No… It's not that. If Cell was the only one I killed, then I would still be able to live with myself. I feel bad because I killed Suu and Beytah."

"Why! It should have been me!" Said Papi as she was reminded of her best friend's fate. She did not put two and two when Beta 1 was mentioned so she didn't realize the person who saved her was also absorbed.

"Cell absorbed Beytah and Suu. He told me he was planning on absorbing me and making me a part of him forever. I wouldn't even be able to die… Goten suddenly became quiet before speaking again. He told me himself that Beytah was already alive inside of him, and I didn't see how he absorbed Suu, or how he left clothes behind, but I assumed since Suu is a liquid, she must be alive in there somewhere and I still killed him. I beat Cell, and yet… I failed them both! I failed you all!"

"Goten, I will reiterate what I told you before. It is not a sin to do what you must to fight for the right cause. It's as I said before, There are times where a person must make a choice and the correct choice is not always the one that appears to be more virtuous. Now was one of those times. If you continued trying to save your friends, Cell would have destroyed everything you hold dear, and they would never be free. I understand how you feel. You have a good heart. You want to protect everyone, and every being on this planet. But it is because you cherish life that you must protect it at all costs." Said Android 16.

"Goten, you made the right choice. Should you have hesitated even a little, Cell would have won. Hold your head up and be proud of yourself warrior. You may feel guilt over the lives that were lost, but because of your actions on this day, more lives will begin, and some peace will be brought to the families who lost their loved ones. Suu was like family to us, but I do not blame you on bit for what you've done. On the contrary, you have made me proud. It pains me to see you in distress, but that pain you're feeling right now will only make you stronger." Said Centorea.

"I still feel awful, but I get what you're trying to do for me and you know what? You're right, I can't just stand here depressed forever, but it's going to be a while before I can just forgive myself."

Suddenly a purple object twinkled in the sky above and then something came crashing right into 16. The impact created a large mass of smoke. When the smoke cleared, the cause was revealed. It was an injured Cell who was now on top of 16. Cell had lost all his tails, his left arm, a portion of the crest on his head, both of his wings were completely gone, and some of the sscales on hiss legs were completely gone, replaced with purple spots of blood that oozed out on his lower leg. Despite being injured, Cell was still able to break a part of 16's lower half, completely breaking apart his right leg and heavily damaging the left.

"YOU USELESS BUCKET OF BOLTS! SAY GOODBYE!" Cell began charging up another ki blast at 16, much to everyone's horror which destroyed most of his torso, and completely seperated the upper half of his body from his lower.

"No! Cell should have been destroyed by that!" Said the upper half of 16.

"NO! STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIEND!" Said Papi as Android 16 lied on the ground defenseless.

"ARGHH!" Goten transformed back into a Super Saiyan. "I WON'T LET YOU HURT HIM ANYMORE!" Said Goten as he began rapidly punching Cell from the side, which did absolutely to him.

"Pathetic." Said Cell before karate chopping Goten's neck and elbowing his head, sending him to the ground. Cell got on all threes above Goten, the parts of his body that were remaining began pulsating and his body was back, but he was only able to recover one tail.

"That last attack of yours almost finished me for good. I was barely able to regenerate and after this, I won't be able to for a bit. No matter, I'll simply regain my energy from devouring you! But before that, let me teach you a lesson!" Cell's destroyed body parts regrew, and he was not in his initial Ultimate Cell state but with only one draconic tail. When Cell regenerates body parts, a highly corrosive acid comes out, which melts into Goten's skin.

"ARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHH!" Goten screamed in pain.

"You know, I was content with killing you back there, but now I changed my mind again! I'll make you suffer for what you did to me!" Cell began punching Goten in the face many with his hardened dragon fists, causing him to cough up blood. He then grabs his neck once more and flies to the sky. He then begins constricting Goten's waist and arms with his hardened tail. It was as if a snake with coils covered in armor were to wrap around a person and squeeze tightly. As one could imagine, it was a very painful experience. Everyone watched in horror as Cell tortured Goten. Miia widened her eyes at the sight as she remembered how Goten was unaffected by being squeezed by her own coils. As Cell constricted Goten's waist, he began squeezong the back of his neck with his hard draconic hands.

"Now… it's time for your lesson. Why don't you take a look around you?!" Said Cell.

"THIS IS THE JSDF! LET THAT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT GO AND SURRENDER PEACEFULLY!" Said a soldier.

"W-Wait! Don't do it! You wanted me, right? They have nothing to do with this! " Said Goten weakly.

"You're a powerful fighter Goten, that much I can admit. You're easily the strongest person on the planet who isn't an android. If it weren't for me or the Red Ribbon Army, you could have easily conquered this planet, just like your kind did in the past before they were wiped out. Just like how your father was meant to. But instead, your kind starting with your father chose to make nice with the inhabitants. You're far too soft which is why you never stood a glimmer of a chance against me. That however no longer matters. You see Goten, you may be the most powerful natural being on this planet, but that comes with a heavy price." Cell's eyes began glowing red.

"I SAID LET THE KID GO! DO NOT MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF" Said the commander.

"Cell fired lasers which burned the jet planes, tanks, and soldiers in half, killing everyone inside."

"No…" Goten said weakly.

"That's it. Can you see it now? While you may be the strongest being on Earth excluding myself and perhaps Gohan, and you may be able to protect other weaker lifeforms, there's no one who could ever hope to save you when a new apex predator makes his appearance. That my friend, is the price of power. Go on boy! Cry out to your father, your brother or even Trunks! Anyone at all who'd have a glimmer of a chance of saving you from me! They won't come because they're all gone.

Cell turned around and threw Goten to where the ground met the lake. He then flew down on top of Goten, pinning him down to the ground. He used his hard dragon hands to open Goten's jaw, not caring about the claw marks he left on Goten's cheek. In his normal state Cell already had sharp nails, but in making his arms more dragon-like, Cell was able to scratch him. He then pried open his jaw before pushing his face into the water-covered ground which got wet dirt in the teenager's mouth. The sadistic android began stomping on his head against the ground multiple times, while his mouth was open, mixing his blood with the dirt. He then proceeded to drag Goten face first through the dirt, deeper into the water before slightly lifting his neck giving him a clear view of the water. At this point, half of Cell's lower legs were completely submerged underwater.

"Do you see your reflection? Tell me, what do you see?"

Before he knew it, his neck was being constructed by Miia's tail, and she was doing so with all her strength. Kimihito looked at the scene in shock. The Lamia has almost killed him plenty of times, but all of those times were accidents. Never did Kimihito think he'd see Miia genuinely try to kill someone. What surprised Kimihito even more was his own feelings towards this. He was hoping she did kill him after witnessing him suck up those innocent people, what he was about to do to Mero, and what he was currently doing to Goten. Kimihito may have been dense, but even he was able to put together that this was who was responsible for all the disappearances on the news and he now knew in gruesome detail what exactly happened and he hated this creature for that. He never once thought he'd find himself wishing for the death of a living creature, but here he was.

"Let him go! Get your disgusting feet off him you cockroach! I'm going to snap your neck!" Said Miia.

"You lost your chance to become a part of perfection. I tire of absorbing vermin like you. " Cell grabbed Miia's tail off his neck slammed her into the ground and threw her into a tree.

"MIIA!" Both Kimihito, Mero, and Goten yelled. The Lamia was hurt, but was still conscious. She looked on in horror at what Cell was doing to Goten.

"You aren't even worth using an ounce of my strength." Cell turned back to Goten. "This is exactly my point. You were able to save your friends and yet when the time comes for you to be saved, no one can help you since they're all so weak compared to you! They may be able to prolong your suffering, but they cannot prevent the inevitable. So I'll ask you again. What do you see?

Goten looks into the water below him. In his reflection he saw his own messed up face and Cell cruely grinning behind him. "I-I see the person who's going to rip that ugly grin off your face!" Said Goten.

Cell sadistically smiled at Goten and began charging his unsettling energy that contained the souls of his victims crying out for help. The observers swore they saw faces and hands reaching out to them, begging to be set free.

"PLEASE SPARE MY BABY!" A woman's voice cried.

"NOOOOOOO!" A man's voice cried.

"Please… let me go." Said the voice of a sobbing child.

"Goten's eyes widened in shock. Cell... you're nothing but a monster... I'm going to kill you!"

"You still think you're the hero of this story, don't you? Listen to their screams boy! These are the people you could have saved! I thought I was able to lie low, but you were still able to sense me, and yet you didn't go straight to me. Tell me, how long did you sense me while thinking I was your father? As much as I hate to admit it, you could have easily beaten me before, but you allowed me to get stronger all because you thought I was your father. And here's the kicker. There are no longer any dragon balls in neither this world or our world so everyone I consumed is gone forever." His insane laughter echoed throughout the entire area as he allowed for that information to sink into Goten's brain. Goten quietly processed this information. He knew there weren't Dragon Balls, but now he hadn't even considered using the Dragon Balls in his world. As one would assume, this broke Goten's soul. Everyone that Cell had killed, was gone forever. Goten went completely silent.

"Goten, don't listen to him!" Yelled Kimihito, but Cell only continued torturing Goten and everyone else with their screams."

"NO! PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT ANYMORE!" Goten screamed as he covered his ears.

"That's right boy, take a moment to think of the many children without parents, businesses that have been destroyed, and people who are missing their lovers all because of your inability to act. Don't be sad, you can apologize to them after you join them, just like your friend Beta 1. You'll see what I see, feel what I feel, and you'll hear the screeching of OUR victims for all of eternity."

"Damn you… I… But I… AAAAAAARGH!" Goten let out a blood-curdling screech, as Cell rubbed salt in his wounds. He began whimpering and tears flooded his eyes. "So many people dead… and I could have saved them..."

"That's right. I wonder how your dear big brother will react after I tell him of your failure and what became of you. After all, you are the last living person who would ever grieve for him."

"Shut up…"

"Oh, what was that? Why don't you say that louder."

"I SAID SHUT UP!"

"Hahahaha, did I strike a nerve? Well, that's too bad. Don't worry. You'll make for some excellent psychological warfare against my loathsome foe and you'll give me the energy I need to replenish my strength. When I'm done, I'm going to use your power to kill your brother. It's time for dinner. " Cell lifted Goten's head up from the water and brought his tail closer to Goten. He then opened it up the end of his tail to swallow Goten whole.

"GOTEN, NO! YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIM YOU BASTARD! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!" Kimihito sprinted towards Cell and began punching him. "DAMN IT! LET HIM GO!" He exclaimed.

In response Cell just laughed at his efforts and the others could only watch as Cell's tail covered Goten's head and proceeded to suck in his entire body, creating a bulge in his tail."

"No… Goten! He's eating him alive!" Miia cried.

"NO! HOW COULD YOU!" Tio cried at the sight of seeing Cell swallowing Goten whole.

Goten struggled to break out despite his current state of mind. Inside of Cell's tail, he saw countless rows of teeth pointing away from him. Before he didn't get a very good look but upon closer inspection, Goten saw a clear liquid on them. The Saiyan, unfortunately, struggled as Cell swallowed him further.

"MMMMMMMMMMPHHHH! LETMEGO! IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO END LIKE THIS! IT HURTS... IT HURTS SO MUCH! ...Dad... Please... help me..." Goten's voice was muffled so some of what Goten said was unclear to the others what he said, but they could tell he was in a lot of pain. They all heard his final cry for his father loud and clear. It was soft and quiet yet it put a chill down everyone's spine. Goten was no longer a God amongst men, but a terrified boy.

Cell laughed as Goten screamed in pain, but his laughter was cut short by his tail being shot off. He looked over expecting to see Android 16 again but instad she saw Manako aiming the bottom of one of his forearms at him.

Ost Ends

Manako had saw his arm earlier and picked it up out of the kindness of her heart. She had hoped to return Android 16's arm after the battle was over. As everyone was leaving through the opposite side of where Goten and 16 were fighting, she remembered how 16's forearms were not attacked to his body when he created the ball of energy that he absorbed. When she saw Cell eating Goten alive, she knew she had to do something. After she had shot of Cell's tail, that same arm had trapped Cell in an android barrier because for 16's forearms, they did not need to be attached for him to attack with them. 16 used up no power with that part of his body specifically, so it still had a lot of the power that 16 had charged up earlier. That also meant the Android barrier was stronger than ever.

"You... How many times do I need to destroy you" Said Cell. To his surprise, it was not 16, but a one-eyed woman starring back at him. Her face full of fury.

"Leave this area now and get Goten back to health! I need to stay here and make sure he does not escape until backup arrives. Should he escape, I will self-destruct and that blast will surely be enough to kill Cell. I haven't known the boy long, but I like him. He has a gentle soul. He does not deserve to become a part of Cell."

"Wait, but won't that kill everyone? Everyone including Goten will die!" Said Smith.

"If I set off the bomb myself, it the damage it causing to my surroundings will not destroy as much. If I were to say too much information, then a different output would be used as that was a protective measure the doctor put on me." Said 16

"Are you sure? What about you?! If he gets out, he'll destroy you! You should come with us!" Said Kimihito.

In response, 16 smiled at him. "Life is good, but living in fear is not my idea of living. Now go on and take care of the boy. He has a bright future ahead of him."

"Master, I believe this man is correct. we should do as he says. We must get Goten to a save place at once… Should 16 fail, we'll need Goten at full health. He's the only one capable of destroying this wretched fiend. I hope he's alright in there." Said Centorea.

"Alright! 16, I owe you for this!" Said Kimihito.

"NO! YOU WON'T GET AWAY! Cell tried to fire a death beam at Kimihito but it failed to pierce the barrier from the inside. "WHAT?!"

"This barrier is able to defend against a higher level of power than my own courtesy of Dr. Hedo. Cell, your days are numbered."

"WHY YOU!" Said Cell angrily.

"16, go with us! You'll be safe from that monster. Please don't go!" Said Papi

16 smiled. "There is no other way. Should Cell be allowed to live, he will only grow stronger until no one can defeat him. Like a weed that must be cut from the roots, Cell must also be cut down before he can reach his true potential. Our time together was brief, but I enjoyed it, Papi. Thank you for caring about me." As he continued to fire at Cell while sitting on the ground.

*Sniffles* "I will never forget you 16 You were so cool!"

Kimihito carried her on his back since Papi couldn't walk or land anywhere due to her broken leg. Tio took care of Miia, and Rachnera carried the tail that Goten was stuck inside of.

Later…

An area away from the lake

"Manako, you really pulled through for us! Now let's get Goten out!" Said Tio.

"Oh me? I just did what anyone would have done." Said Manako bashfully.

They carried Cell's severed tail a short distance so they could get Goten out of Cell's severed tail.

"Alright ladies, let's get him out!" Said Smith.

They had managed to pushed him out by pushing the bulge of his tails towards the opening he was closer to. What they saw was a sight they could never forget.

Miia widened her eyes and covered her mouth. "No! This can't be real…" Said Miia in disbelief.

Tio began puking and whimpering at the sight of what she just saw.

Even Zombina was freaked out by what she saw.

What came out of Cell's tail was a teenage boy who had plenty of his flesh melted off, blood was dripping from all over his body, one of his eyes was no longer working, and he was whimpering in agony. He was shirtless now as what was left of Goten's shirt had been dissolved by Cell. The Saiyan briefly got up and was walking but he was moving around aimlessly before he fel down.

Kuroko Smith rushed to Goten as he lied on the ground. "Goten, you look awful! Hold on, let me make a call! We'll get you back to health in no time!"

"I-I'm not going to make it. I can feel my life slowly slipping away from me… Tell me, what happened to Android 16? Is he alright?" said Goten weakly.

"He's got Cell trapped like a firefly in a bottle. I have no idea how long he'll last, but he's planning on stalling for backup." Said Ms. Smith.

"T-Thank goodness. At least he'll be alright. I hope he can reunite with Gohan." Said the dying Saiyan boy.

"Goten, please don't go! This isn't fair! You should be able to see your brother again too!" Said Papi.

"Goten, listen to me! We're going to get you out alive! Just relax okay? GOTEN!" Said Ms. Smith, but Goten was barely able to speak.

"H-Hey Smith… You know, you were right about me. I was Saiyaman X2."

Every member of M.O.N stood there silently as Smith had brought up the posssibility earlier.

"I-I just… I just really wanted to help. I was around the area, and I saw all that commotion going on, so I put on a disguise to check out what it was. I'll admit, when I found out they were criminals, I intervened for the fun of it. However, when I found out they were criminals abusing the loophole in the bill, I came to the conclusion I was needed. After all, if we have a police force that can't fight back against crime, then what's the point of having a police force at all? Sure, your squad was there, but I didn't know that at the time. All I saw were criminals putting innocent lives in danger and I couldn't just stand by and watch. I already had my issues with the bill because it failed so many people like Melody, and I'm sure many other people suffered from people abusing loopholes too. I had my issues with the bill, but I understood the overall goal. I never wanted to get rid of the bill, but I did want reforms to be made. What could I have done? I was considered a criminal and I'd be no different from those orcs if I just used my power to scare the Japanese government into changing the laws into what I wanted them to be. Ms. Smith, and all of M.O.N. I don't regret protecting the innocent, but I am sorry for how I made your team look to the public. I never wanted to undermine your squad. You were all so nice to me when I first came here but then I went ahead and ruined something big for you. I am sorry."

"Goten, I forgive you and by all means it is a flawed system but that's not important right now! Goten?! COME ON, STAY WITH ME DAMN IT!" Said Smith.

"Yeah, forget about it! I had fun fighting that Beta guy and I got a sweet new gun from it too! ...Well it's at a research lab now but i'll get it back someday! I saw you out there and you were an awesome kid! You can really take a lot of punishment so I know you can take this to! Don't give up squirt!" Said Zombina.

"Hey, so I saw what you did to Cell earlier. You know when you threatened to rip out his stomach? Goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. You should have seen everyone's reaction!" Said Doppel trying to cheer him up in her own way.

"Hey Goten... I'll be here as long as you need me okay? Let me know if you need anything." Said Tionishia as she bent down to get a closer look at Goten's face.

"So you were Saiyaman X2. To think you were so close all this time. I thought I'd never would have been able to thank you properly. I shot off Cell's tail to save you but I failed to rescue you like you did for me. I'm not sure if it's insensitive of me to say this after you and him became friends, but thank you for saving me... and sorry I couldn't help you." Manako cupped her face into her hands and began sobbing.

"You're wrong Manako. You saved me from becoming a part of Cell. If you didn't do what you did, I'd be a part of Cell forever, and the worst part is I wouldn't even be able to die. If Cell absorbed me, he would have become unstoppable. Thanks to you, there's hope that this world has a future and if Cell is destroyed, then that would mean you saved the world. It's a little embarrassing to admit but my superhero alter ego was based on an old super superhero series from back home called Clean God. I thought I was a superhero just like him when I beat those orcs but I guess the real superhero was you."

"I'm sorry Goten. You must have been terrified of us when we ate dinner with you. You probably thought we'd treat you like a criminal. If it's any consolation, you were a real hero and you did have a point. You were still a vigilante, but none of us thought you were a bad person and knowing your real identity isn't going to change that. PLEASE DON'T DIE GOTEN! I'M SURE WE CAN FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!" Manako closed her eye and began crying herself.

"Hey, so I saw what you did to Cell earlier. You know when you threatened to rip out his stomach? That was fun. Goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. You should have seen everyone's reaction! It was priceless!" Said Doppel trying to cheer him up in her own way.

"Heh, so you saw that huh? Sorry about that. He told some outrageous lies about my brother. I don't know if he was screwing with me or not, but if he was telling the truth, that means my brother is here and something happened to him. I-I can't die here... I need to know for sure! If he's here, then that means he came here for me, but if he's in danger, then I need to save him somehow! I-I don't think I can though. I know Gohan is strong so if something happens to him, I know he can overcome it on his own!" Goten has a coughing fit and then he vomits. "It's too late… I lost too much blood. The inside of his tail were rows of teeth laced in some kind of venom. It's not even safe to touch me. I guess I wasted my breath with that big speech, but I wanted to make peace with you and myself before I died. I still have so many regrets though. Maybe this is what I deserve for letting all those people die. If Gohan really is here... then he would have come here for nothing and whatever's happening to him would also be for nothing."

"Goten, stop talking crazy! The only one who deserves any of that is Cell!" Said Kimihito Kurusu. He was surprised that he just said that about someone but then again, he had trouble considering Cell a person. He hated the racist couple for almost sexually assaulting Centorea, and he didn't like Kasegi for taking an advantage of his housemates, but his disdain for Cell was on another level. Kimihito never thought he'd see Goten so hurt. From his point of view, the teen seemed invincible. However not only did Cell prove that wasn't the case, but he made Goten look like a normal human boy. A normal human boy that he tortured. The sight of Cell's tail wrapped around Goten's waist while he choked him with his hand was fresh in his mind. Kimihito Kurusu grit his teeth t the memory.

"But it's true! You heard what he said! All those people… T-They're all dead because of me. I might as well have killed them all myself! I was so happy about seeing my dad again that I thought I could take my time, go to school here one last time, save the world, and say goodbye to everyone, but no! It was Cell, and by not going to him as soon as I sensed him, I let them all die and now their souls are a part of him forever!" At this point, Goten was openly crying. Kimihito knew what Goten really was the day the Saiyan told him about his species but the teenagers actions in this moment solidified what he already thought about Goten. He may be an alien with god-like powers but he wasn't a god, a superhero, a conqueror, a common criminal, or sociopath like many have thought of him before. behind all of that was a tortured young man who lost everyone is now suffering a gruesome and painful death that was slow and painful. Killing him would be merciful, but Goten was so durable that no one here could do anything to him, not even in his current state. To add insult to injury, he would die thinking something happened to his brother and there would be nothing he could do about it. This was another aspect of the price of power.

"Goten, stop! Don't say another word about how it's your fault! Cell killed those people, not you! Said the red-haired Lamia. She was hurt by Cell slamming her into a tree, but she was at the very least more durable than Mr. Satan who was a human who Cell hit into a rock while he was in his perfect form. Her physical injuries were nothing compared to what she was feeling emotionally. She was uncontrollably crying

"Miia, that's really nice of you, and I appreciate your kindness. I'm glad you still care about me even after you found out what I actually am. Sorry about hiding that from all of you. I swear I was planning on telling you today, but Cell beat me to it. I'm just glad you're not afraid of me."

"How could I be afraid of someone as sweet as you? You help people for the sake of helping people without expecting anything in return, you treat everyone equally, and you never use your powers for your own gain! Goten, most of us knew you weren't completely human, but if we treated you like a monster for being what you are, then we'd all be hypocrites! Most of us can easily kill a human on accident and we almost have multiple times butt Darling still accepts us! Who cares if you have the power to take over the world or destroy it for that matter?! You're family just like everyone else that lives with us!" The Lamia replied tearfully.

Goten meekly smiled. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Before I came here, I was attacked for no other reason than being born a Saiyan. Someone from a race that the Saiyans wiped out tried to use my body to destroy the rest of us. He even acknowledged that I may not be evil like my ancestors, but he still saw us as too dangerous to exist in our universe, so he planned to destroy the rest of us even though we were regrowing through humanity as a peace-loving species. That one instance was a wake-up call to how people might react if they found out about what I am. Ever since I was a kid, I never cared about hiding my power to fit in. I had plenty of friends who could do what I could do or were used to seeing people like me. Most people would be surprised if they saw me flying in public, or picking up something too heavy for normal humans to pick up but no one discriminated against me for it. Heck! A Namekian, an alien and somebody who was once known as a fearsome Demon King picks up my niece from school now and he's treated like he's just another guy. I only hid my powers back home because it was a rule I needed to follow for school to maintain a level of privacy. However, in this world, or at least Japan, being a different species is a bigger deal than it is back home, so I didn't know how the world would react to knowing the full extent of my powers."

"I don't care what you are! You're my friend and I hate it when my friends die! I'm sorry about how I acted earlier! I know! I'll do what you did to heal hubby!" Papi held out a feather at Goten. "Come on, why isn't it working?! Just tell me how you did it and I can help you!" Said the Harpy.

"You'd have to learn how to use ki which isn't an instant process. It's okay Papi, what I did for Kimihito wouldn't have been enough to save me anyway, so you have nothing to feel bad for. All I did was transfer my energy, but I didn't heal him or cure his illness. I'm going to miss you Papi. You know, playing video games was something I used to do alone for the most part. Sure, there was online gaming, and my friend Trunks sometimes came to my house to play, but that didn't happen as much as I would have liked, and online gaming isn't really the same as being next to the person you're playing with. I was a little sheltered for a lot of my life, and I lived alone with my mom and Dad ever since my brother got married and my dad was often out somewhere working or training. What I'm saying is I forgot what it was like to live with someone you could have fun with, and you reminded me what it's like."

"You're welcome, Goten! I'm going to miss you too!" She was still crying but she managed to smile at the memories she created with the Saiyan.

"I'm sorry I couldn't save Suu. I should have trained more. It would be easy to blame my mom, but it really isn't her fault. Even when I had free time, I was slacking off on training and me getting grounded for 6 months was a result of my own actions and I could have easily snuck some training in… I miss my mom. I miss everyone… I was so stupid! I was so sure that everything would just go my way! That I'd be able to go home! I knew I wasn't invincible, but I never considered that I might die here. You know... I never realized just how spoiled I… no, how everyone in my world was. In this world, when a person dies, they are dead for good. There are no magical wish-granting orbs that can bring people back to life like there was in my world. I got too carefree because of peaceful times. Ever since Gohan was a four-year-old kid, he was constantly fighting for survival and to protect his friends and family. He hated fighting, but he did it anyway because he felt like he needed to, but after he beat Cell, the world was at peace for 7 years. I was born around the time Gohan beat Cell, so I got to live the peaceful life that Gohan would have wanted for himself. It was only when I was 7 that I had my first high-stakes fight but I lost and wound up getting absorbed, just like what almost happened to me today. Whenever things got tough, I'd just fuse with my childhood friend, and when fusion became useless against the next big bad, I'd just let my dad take care of them. That's why I wasn't strong enough to beat Cell, and now I'm going to die because of it… but not before I kill Cell! I know exactly what I need to do! Goten once again tried to stand.

"Goten, you musn't! This isn't like before where there was a chance you could die. If you go back, you will meet your end, even worse, you could be devoured by Cell." Said Centorea.

"Yeah, I know what's going to happen to me. Remember my explanation for ki? The energy that I use to fly around and stuff? Well, I'm planning on releasing all that energy at once to kill Cell."

"You told me that ki is the life force of all living beings which means… No... You wouldn't..." Centorea was shocked by the implictions.

"I would. I'm going to die anyway, but if I do this, then maybe something good will come out of my death, just like how something good came out of the Saiyan's being wiped out. Both of these situations were awful situations but they offered a positive future for others. I want you all to get as far away as you can from the lake. I don't know how big the explosion will be, but I'll try to take Cell to the sky. Get as far away from the lake as you can. You all still have a life to live out, so go!"

"What?! Are you crazy?! We aren't leaving you!" Said Kimihito.

"Kimihito… Trust me when I say I really... don't want to die. Back in my world, I've seen what happens to a person's soul when they die, but I'm not in my world anymore so I don't know what will happen to my soul. At the very least if I can make sure Cell is destroyed, then I can free the souls trapped in Cell and they can be brought to the afterlife. I fought Cell myself, so I think I have a good understanding of him. He's probably still in that ball, just waiting to recover, and when he does, he'll come back stronger. You see, when a Saiyan recovers from nearly dying, they grow even stronger. Cell is also part Saiyan like me and has countless abilities of liminals that he absorbed. The longer he lives, the stronger he gets, and I'm not going to trust the organization that let him out in the first place to do it for me. I need to put an end to him now!" Goten gets up briefly, despite the pan but he couldn't walk straight. He soon found that he was getting very tired and collapsed back onto the ground. A concerned Miia looked down at him.

"Goten, please stop! You don't have to go this far! You tried your hardest! Isn't that enough?!" Said Miia.

"Miia... when I first came to this world, I didn't know what to expect. I mean I literally got beat up and sent through a machine by some psychotic parasite guy and before I knew it, some guy at the police station is asking me what my species is. Of course, I told him I was human because it was partially true and it felt like the safe answer at the time. I didn't know this was a society where non-human intelligent species lived at first, but when I found out, I still wasn't comfortable with telling people about my other race. When I first met you, you looked so angry, but then suddenly you were so calm and welcoming."

Miia blushed and softly giggled at the antics of her past self as tears fell from her eyes. "Sorry about that. I thought you were another rival trying to steal Darling from me!"

Goten meekly smiled. "Even after you saw me doing weird things like flying in public, or transferring my energy to people, you never stopped being welcoming to me. You even offered me love advice! Normally I'm the person who does that, but you did it for me! As you know, I didn't want to fall in love because I had too many connections to my own world, but there was more to it. It kind of felt like I was an intruder like I didn't belong in this world. Even though this was a world with non-human species, I had alien blood from a species that used to commit mass genocide and conquered entire planets. Not only did I not know how people would react, but I wanted to have children when I got older, so imagine what it would be like if I got into a serious relationship and my friends came here to bring me back to my world. I'd have to choose. I can see that I was foolish now. I thought it was certain that I would go back to my world. I obsessed over it. However, now I know it it was never guaranteed that I'll go back to my world. I was so quick to turn down the idea of being in a relationship, but now I'm not so sure if that was the right call. Well, it's too late for me now, but I can make sure you and the girls have a chance to marry Kimihito. Isn't that worth fighting for?

"I guess it is... but we'll all miss you!" Said Miia.

"I know." Goten smiled knowing none of his friends held him in contempt. "I have a plan. How far is the lake from here?"

"It's less than five minutes. We needed to get you out of that tail before you died in there." Said Smith.

"That's good. I can't sense anyone, but my movement and vision is disoriented, not to mention every part of my body hurts. I'd ask one of you to bring me there, but touching me directly is dangerous for you. Suu probably could have helped, but she's inside Cell."

"Hey, I'm a Zombie! I'm already dead and I can't feel pain so I should be fine! If you're sure about this, I can bring you over... Hey, are you sure you want this? Zombina asked"

"Awesome... and yes, I am." Said Goten. Just when Goten had said that the pain became even more excruciating. Cell developed his own type of venom from the various species he had absorbed. Cell had a very potent venom that could eventually kill a Saiyan, a species that wouldn't even be affected by a toxin capable of wiping out all of humanity. The intentionally designed venom to cause immense pain to the victim that would only get worse over time. The idea was to make the victim lose their minds and allow themselves to be absorbed by Cell to end their own suffering. As such, there were no antibodies for this particular venom. There were also the many cuts, bruises, and burns from his fight with Cell. Even if a superhuman like Krillin was in this position, they'd be long gone by now.

"GUAAAAAH!" Goten cried. Everyone could only look at him in concern.

Rachnera had an idea "Stay still dear. This will sting, but it will stop you from bleeding out." She covered Goten's wounds in webs. "I will be honest. I do not know if this will help you, but it can lessen the pain if only slightly. Normally, I'd recommend putting you out of our misery but you're the only one who has a chance of killing Cell if he escapes not to mention, I don't know if any of us could put you out of your misery." Said the Arachne. The fact that Goten had to fight Cell despite his health was yet another aspect of the price of power.

"Thanks, Rachnera… but, I doubt that will be enough. I took more damage than I thought. I think You did buy me a little time. I know it's a bit selfish of me but there are two things I want from you all. First, If someone with black spikey hair similar to mine or anyone else from my world comes to bring me back, tell them I'm sorry and that I loved them… Cell said my brother Is here but something happened to him. I don't know if he was just trying to screw with me or not, but I have faith that Gohan can get through anything! So when I pass on, I want him to move on from me. My second request for you all… Is for you all to live your lives."

"YOU CAN TELL THEM YOURSELF! COME ON GOTEN! I KNOW YOU'RE A FIGHTER! YOU HAVE TO GET THROUGH THIS!" Said Kimihito

"Kimihito Kurusu, and everyone who is here with me in my final moments. Thank you for everything… Hey, do you know what the name Goten means? It means... understanding the heavens... Believe it or not, I've already been there before when I was little. It wasn't for a long time so I never got to really explore it. This time... I'm afraid my stay will be a bit more permanent. I guess it's time I live up to my name... Goodbye..." Goten smiled as he closed his eyes and turned onto his back.

"NO! GOTEN! PLEASE DON'T DIE! YOU'RE LIKE A LITTLE BROTHER TO ME! COME ON GET UP! YOU CAN STILL SEE YOUR FAMILY AGAIN! …GOTEN?! GOTEN!" Kimihito was openly crying and Miia did her best to comfort him, but she was also crying.

Goten was now lying on the ground unresponsive to the people who were crying over him, but he could very much hear them. his life flashed before his eyes and he thought about his life until now. 'I can't believe I'm actually going to die here. Killed by the same android who took my dad from me all those years ago… I wonder how everyone is doing? That parasite guy sure was tough but he's nothing compared to the others. If he tried anything with Pan, I'm sure Piccolo could beat him with that awesome new Orange form he got from Shenron... I hope she's doing okay. I bet she learned all sorts of new techniques since I last saw her. Did Trunks ever get Mai to like him? He always did have a thing for her… So this is it huh? I'm never going to see any of them again… I feel bad. If they come here, and assuming this planet is still here, they won't find me alive and I'll be dead for good… This must be what the Saiyans felt when their planet was destroyed. To be completely powerless against an enemy who's going to destroy everything you care about. I suppose this is what the victims of the Saiyans felt too, but what happened to them was only a continuation of a cycle. A cycle I thought ended a long time ago with my father… I never did find out what it means to have Saiyan pride. For my entire life, being a Saiyan was just a fact of life. If there was anything I felt pride in, it was my dad and my brother for their many accomplishments. Today was my chance to accomplish something myself but I blew it… NO! I CAN'T GIVE UP NOW! NOT UNTIL I KNOW CELL IS GONE AND MY BROTHER IS STILL OKAY! I'm a Saiyan warrior just like Dad! This must have been the exact position Gohan was in 16 years ago. He was the only one who could beat Cell and now that falls on me, but this time I'll make sure he's gone for good. If I have to survive on sheer willpower alone, then so be it!'

After Goten had seemingly said his final words, Mero got out of her wheelchair to get a closer look at Goten. She knew it was dangerous to touch him, but she could get a closer look to watch for his breath

"It's faint, but he still draws breath!" Said Mero tearfully. She then grabbed Goten's hand.

"Mero, his body still covered in venom! That's dangerous!" Said Smith.

"I know that. However, I wish to share his pain. He's gone through so much sadness and heartache in such a short period of time. The old me would have delighted in such a tragedy, but I just... I just can't anymore." Mero began speaking to Goten. "Goten… If you can hear me, I want you to know something. You taught me a valuable lesson. I thought tragedies were something to look forward to, but now I understand that a life of tragedy is not what I desire for myself or for anyone else. What happened was beyond just tragic, it was nothing short of barbaric and evil. I'm aware that a lot must be on your mind, but you aren't to blame for what happened on this awful day. You were right Goten, if you truly love someone, you will never want to lose them, So tell me Goten, what do you love? What is it that you don't want to lose?"

"In story terms, you were like a foil to me. You were ever the optimist even in the face of all my tragedies. often coming up with scenarios to make them sound delightful or you look at them through a positive lens. Despite that, I never disliked you for that. I happened to find that quality of yours rather admirable. You were just like that since the day we met. You were separated from your family, and now you've faced the very same creature who took your father from you, but you never gave up. I'm aware that this isn't a situation where you can be optimistic, so for once I will assume your role. Goten, I know you'll get through this strife. With both your inner self and with Cell. You may feel as if it's all your fault, or perhaps you feel as though you deserved what happened to you, but that's simply not true! I won't pretend to understand how your abilities work, but this horrid creature had the energy of your father, did he not? You can't blame yourself for not knowing!"

You must be exhausted Goten, so we'll tend to your injuries as that gentleman holds back Cell. You can beat your ailment once you're back to good health, you can beat Cell. You can set his victims free so they can move on to the afterlife! It may take time, but you'll forgive yourself, you'll smile again, and you'll give the families of the victims a sense of peace! This is all in the future yet to come, but it's a future that only you can make happen! I'll ask you once more Goten. What is it that you love?"

To the surprise of everyone, Goten said something.

Goten finds the strength to lift one leg onto the ground. His bloody body was surrounded by a white aura. "I WON'T LET IT END LIKE THIS!" Goten finally manages to stand without falling. "I… I love life. From nature to the animals, to the people, I love every aspect of it... AND I WON'T LET CELL TRAMPLE OVER IT ANYMORE! "Goten screamed out loud as his aura changed from white to yellow, and the ground began shaking. "Cell is a cancer to this world and everything I cherish so I swear on everything... THAT I WON'T LET HIM WIN! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Goten's hair became a whitish-yellow and the golden flame surrounding his body became even more intense than ever before. The flame surrounding Goten's body was so big that it eclipsed the nearby buildings in height and all 47 prefectures in Japan felt the rage of the a Super Saiyan. Goten turned his attention to Mero.

"I heard everything you said Meroune and you're right! There is no future with Cell, so I will use the last of my strength to destroy him once and for all! He awakened the Saiyan warrior within my heart. He may be stronger than me, but I'm coming at him with all that I am! The merciless nature of a Saiyan and the justice of a human! I know I'm going to die, but when a person dies, so does the cancer and Cell is no different! I'm not going to rely on blowing myself up to destroy Cell. I'm going to beat him, and I'm going to do it my way! It's funny. I always knew I was a Saiyan, but I didn't know much about them. Whenever my dad or Vegeta talked about Saiyan pride, I didn't understand it. For my entire life, I spent it growing as a human. I never truly understood what being a Saiyan meant to me. But in this moment, I understand it so clearly! Being a Saiyan isn't about being the most powerful person in the world, conquering planets, or even saving the world! It's about never backing down and growing as both a person and as a fighter. That's what true strength is, and Cell doesn't have that."

"Well said Goten. Before you go I'd like to apologize to you." Said Centorea.

"Why? You didn't do anything wrong." Said Goten.

"No, I have disrespected you as both a warrior and a prince. You're certain of your fate yet you're accepting that to protect a world that isn't your own. You're truly noble, not just in terms of having royal blood, but also spiritually. When I first met you, I thought of you as a child. A child with potential, but a child, nevertheless. Now I understand what you really are. Son Goten, I Centorea Shianus acknowledge thee as a true warrior." Said Centorea as shee bowed before Goten.

"A true warrior huh? I like the sound of that. Yes… I am a Saiyan warrior just like my dad, so I won't lose to that copycat! Oh, and Centorea, I already told you I don't see myself as a prince. Besides, it's not like I'm making some heroic sacrifice. I'm already dying, but I refuse to let Cell have this victory. This isn't just to save the world but also because of my pride as a Saiyan. It's kind of funny when you think about it. I've been told I learn things backward. I learned how to transform into a Super Saiyan long before I could fly and now I found out what it meant to have Saiyan pride long after I learned how to transform into a Super Saiyan. That form used to be considered a legend in Saiyan culture, and it's also why their planet was destroyed. The tyrant who enslaved them was afraid of that legend, so he blew up their planet. However, My dad was sent to Earth as a baby and when he grew up, he became the first Super Saiyan in who knows how many years and beat the tyrant who wiped out his race. I became a Super Saiyan at such a young age that I don't even remember when I first transformed. I achieved the legendary transformation a long time ago but only at the end of my life did I have Saiyan pride. Before I was just a kid who happened to be born a Saiyan, but that changed today. My name is Son Goten, and I am Saiyan born on Earth."

"Please, call me Cerea. You've earned my respect as both a fellow warrior and a friend. Now go forth Saiyan Warrior. The fate of the world rests upon your shoulders."

"Alright! I will. Cerea, I saw what you did to help me. When Cell had me pinned against that tree, you tried to stop him. You're loyal to Kimihito, and the safer option would have been to take your master and run, but you didn't do that. You tried to save me. You are the very model of a true knight Cerea. Heh, I wish I got the chance to train with you."

The Centaur turned her head and wiped her tears. "I would have liked that too!"

"Hey Kimihito Kurusu?" Said Goten.

"Yes?" He responded.

"Thank you for letting me stay with you. You were a true friend to me, and an overall upstanding guy. I can see why the girls love you so much. You're always trying to do the right thing. When you punched that guy, I was actually surprised. Not to be rude, but I thought you were too nice to say no. Aside from him being a scumbag, that's part of why I was so harsh towards him."

'Trust me no one blames you.' Everyone thought.

"But that's not the end of it. Even after I told you the history of my species, you didn't treat me as a monster. This wasn't a problem back home, but I thought I'd be a much bigger deal here considering how humans and non-humans tend to view each other."

"How could I see you as a monster? Outside of your abilities, you pretty much just acted like a teenager would and whoever your ancestors were wasn't going to change that. You're your own person Goten. Never forget that."

"I won't. It's been fun everyone. Before I go, I want you all to know something. You've made my time here amazing, and I cherished all of our time together. When I first came here, I could have literally ended up anywhere but out of any place I could have landed, I'm glad I ended up here. I didn't know what my life would be like if I had to stay here, because I was starting out with a blank slate. But because of you, I felt that maybe life here wouldn't be so bad. I know I won't have the chance to live that life, so I want you all to live yours. You all want to marry Kimihito right? Well after Cell is dead, you'll have that chance." Goten turned his face to everyone he was about to leave behind. "I love you all. Goodbye."

"Wait, Sir Goten!"

"Yes Mero?"

"I will never forget you or your sacrifice. You taught me so much, and out of respect for your sacrifice I will name one of my children after you."

"Aw, you're making me blush, Mero. Thank you for telling me what you did earlier. I needed to hear what you told me. I'm so glad I got to be friends with you."

"Please just call me Mero! Please come out okay Goten. I'm happy you're my friend too. I can tell nothing will deter you from this, but surely you know this won't be an easy victory."

"I know Mero, but you see…" Goten turned around at Mero with a prideful smile. "That's the best part." Goten then flew away to confront Cell.

With 16 and Cell

It was around 15 minutes since Android 16 trapped Cell in a barrier. Unfortunately, Android 16 was no longer in a position to attack Cell. He was simply lying next to the barrier in two halves. Both of his arms were gone, and he couldn't even stand. He was only there to watch over Cell and self destruct if he got out.

Cell was still trapped in a barrier by Android 16, and was hacking at it. At first Cell was too weak to damage it, but he regained some strength back and managed to slice the barrier with his forearm blades. Cell then began punching at it with his Dragon arms, which began to crack open the barrier. Cell eventually broke out and and charged a pink ball of ki in his hand.

"SAY GOODBYE YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SCRAP METAL!" Cell fired a red ki blast, but Goten appeared in front of him and swatted it away.

"CELL! I'M BACK!"

"Ah, so you're here at last. I was getting bored of that garbage anyway. Thank you for coming." Cell bowed to Goten. "A small treat to recover my strength."

"Goten, as weakened as he is, I do not recommend fighting him at your current condition. I have already alerted the othersss, but if he absorbs you, then he may become even more powerful than Alpha Zero, the most powerful android and your-" Said 16.

"No, I need to do this. I spent my life relying on my other people to take care of every new threat, but neither my dad nor Trunks are here so it's up to me to destroy Cell on my own!"

Goten turned to Cell. "Cell, I hate you. You killed innocent people, you tortured me, you told lies about my family, and hurt my friends, but I was raised to be merciful to even the vilest of villains like you, so I'll give you one last chance. Give back Beytah and Suu." Said Goten in a stern tone.

"Let me think about it?" Cell pretended to ponder the decision. "NO!" He rushed up to Goten, grabbed his arm, and slammed him to the ground. He took pulled out his tail and stuck it out near Goten's abdomen." You should have known this wouldn't work! Only weaklings beg, but then again you fit the description."

Goten grabbed his stinger with both of his hands to prevent him from adding him to his biomass. "W-Who said I was begging? I knew that would be your answer."

"Then why even bother asking?!" Said Cell as he opened up his tail, eager to swallow Goten whole. The sudden opening, caused Goten's grip to be broken."

Goten exploded in a golden aura, and before Cell knew it, he was the one on the ground. Goten stepped on the back of his long tail and began tugging at it.

"Because now you won't get any mercy from me..." Goten's voice was dark and cold. There was no hint of wanting to protect others or any other noble reasons. It sounded as if Goten wanted to murder Cell and nothing else mattered. Goten stepped on the beginning of his tail, pressed a further part of it against the insect-like creature's back and blew a hole through it along with Cell's back. The explosion was pillar-shaped and yellow. Goten stuck his fist through the gaping hole in Cell's back causing him to yelp in pain. The enraged Saiyan teenager did an uppercut through it. Goten's fist was inside Cell's throat which obviously caused the bio-android to choke. Cell was gurgling his own blood and Goten's fist as he could feel Goten peering through his eyes from the back of his head. While Goten was giving an uppercut through Cell's body, he put the open palm of his left hand and placed it behind Cell's before shooting out a massive yellow wave that consumed Cell's entire body. His scream of agony could be heard as he traveled across the lake. After doing this

"Hey… Android 16… Gohan told me about you. He said you really helped in the last battle against Cell. On top of that, you saved Papi, so you have my thanks Let me take you somewhere safe." Said Goten as he grabbed both halves of 16 and brought them to a location away from the lake.

"Goten, it pains me to see you like this. Why have you taken me away from Cell? If he absorbs you, it's all over. I could have obliterated him with the bomb in my chest."

"Because I-I'm not letting you die again! He's still stronger than me, so I don't have control of this fight. Stay here and you'll be safe. Trust me! I promise you, I will kill Cell even if it kills me! You deserve a chance at life where you're not being used by other people to achieve their own goals. You saw what I'm capable of when I release my rage but now I'm angrier than I've ever been in my life and I'm not trying to save my friends anymore. I'm here to kill Cell. Trust me 16!"

"I understand but you must proceed with caution. In any case, thank you for caring about me... Rest in peace Son Goten." Said 16 as he noticed Goten's current state.

Goten smiled. "I'm glad I got to meet you. Before he reappeared at the lake where he first confronted Cell.

Cell gets up from out of the water. "You shouldn't have come back. You could have survived a bit longer. Oh, I get it, you came to the realization that it's useless to resist me. Well better late than never." Cell had already regenerated which would temporarily lower his ki, but seeing Goten as he was, he didn't think he was a threat.

"No, that's not it at all. I've heard Vegeta and more recently my father talk about their Saiyan pride a, but the truth is I never had that. After all, how could I take pride in something I barely knew about? That was true up until now. Cell, you've awakened the mighty Saiyan warrior within me! But before I destroy you, you should know one thing. Before I had Saiyan pride, I took pride in something even greater. Being the son of my father! You'll never be half the person or fighter he was, and that's why… THIS IS THE END FOR YOU CELL!"

Cell laughed at him "Feeling cocky, are we? And here I thought you finally accepted your fate."

Goten gave Cell a confident smirk. "My fate? No Cell, I accepted yours."

Hey I'm back. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! It's been a minute but I've been stuck with a crappy keyboard for these last three chapters making it really hard to write, but I made it! I'm definitely purchasing a computer around December, so I'll go back and re-edit in January since I'll be spending most of December doing other things that aren't writing. November will also always be a busy month for private reasons. The reason I'm releasing three chapters on this day is that I had a lot of them written already, but I had to make time to edit them. Anyway, I did see a concern about power levels and Black Frieza and I thought I'd address that now. So for power levels... It's going to rarely In the entirety of this story, it will be updated like 5 times at most, and trust me when I say this is a long story. Power levels will also never be updated in the middle of an arc, but I keep a private log on them so I always remember. That said, I do regret putting multipliers and some of the ground rules I made for myself. What I wrote in the first two chapters is something that I wrote when I was still putting all my ideas together and a lot has changed since then. Not a fan of everything I said back then, but it's not worth going back and changing it. As for Black Frieza... Yeah, that one's on me. I should have been more clear. Black Frieza will be a part of the story, but not a big part of the main story. If the art of this story is anything to go by, Trunks will eventually be a part of the story but not anytime soon. By the time I get to Trunks, Black Frieza should have begun already and that's really all I need. I will only use it to explain what's going on in Universe 7. If I made a Black Frieza arc in this story, I'd either have to 1. Give Goten a Super Saiyan Rage-like transformation and by that I mean a transformation that comes out of nowhere and is as strong as the plot demands. Or 2. Put Goku in the story and I could make Goten a side character in his own story. That would go against his character development in this chapter and it would definitely ruin the story for me and the people who came here to see a Goten story. This story was already written in a way that Goten could be just a side character if it wasn't focused on him, but starting from the last chapter, that role would obviously be revoked. I think I rambled on too much again... Haha, you're all ready for the finale of Goten vs Ultimate Cell.
