4:31 A.M. – The Society

Location Unknown

She looked back at one of the windows that led outside.

Well, here at the Society, "outside" was a relative term given how far removed the location of the facility was from everything else.

She knew that everyone here was honing their special talents in order to help the world.

...so why did Henya leave, then?

Despite her own brilliant mind, it was hard for her to understand.

That's why she decided to fake a sickness so she could stay in her room for the moment and figure things out.

Henya must have had a good reason for leaving the Society.

She was surprised Henya was even able to escape, what with how tight the security was here.

...well, at first.

Then she remembered Henya's Wondercube and everything it could do.

Disregarding that for the moment, she pulled out her laptop and started typing away.

Despite Henya being the one with the smarter, well, "smarts", she liked to think she was pretty smart as well.

She quickly had the database dancing to her tune before too long.

"Well, then, mister database, let's see if there's anything you can tell me."

Totally Spies: The New Adventures

Episode 93: Time to Come Home

Story Rated: T for Teen

Story Created: November 5th, 2023

Story Summary: The one-hundred and twenty-seventh co-op project between Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger, and episode ninety-three of our mission-based series Totally Spies: The New Adventures. The future is... well, not so rosy at the moment. According to Klee, Kyle Katz and the Great Kandinsky have found their way to the future and are causing havoc by attempting to ruin the marriages of Nick and Mat's future selves through false gossip. And worse, the future spies are trying to convince Mat to not leave everything behind and simply return to Hawaii with their two kids, and Nick's future self isn't feeling much better about it. It's up to the spies of the present day to assist the spies of the future and hopefully give Kandinsky and Kyle the boot back to the past before the future gets bleaker...

Author's Notes from Mat49324: Well, we're travelling to the future once more in this one. Unfortunately, there's trouble there, too. We hope you enjoyed our last project titled Presidential Panic, too. I should also say that we are very close to finishing our movie fic, too, and if you saw the epilogue, you'll know that the spies are back at Mali-U for year #4. We won't worry about classes for them for at least one or two more projects. For now, here's The Blue Time Ranger for anything he'd like to say.

Author's Notes from The Blue Time Ranger: Eight to go! We're heading back to the future today, and things are gonna get interesting yet again. Our next movie is probably going to be finished by the time this story is posted, but like I said, you won't see it until the end of season eight. But I'm not going to talk your ear off, so let's get to the plot and make our futures bright again! ROLL IT!

And Now, the Obligatory Disclaimer: Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger do not own anything related to Totally Spies or any of its affiliations. It belongs solely to Marathon Media Group, Image Entertainment Corporation, Vincent Chalvon-Demersay, and David Michel. The only things of this story we DO own are any characters or locations created by us truly for the story. Any characters or things we don't own, we are just borrowing with no intent of copyright infringement, only for the entertainment of our readers. Besides, if we did own Totally Spies, which we don't, why would we be writing fiction on a fan site?

Act 1: Time Keeps on Slippin'

11:49 A.M. – Malibu University

The Spies' Penthouse

Another summer vacation had come and gone for the spies of WOOHP. What was a third summer full of days at the Groove, pool days, and car wash battles at their beach house would have to wait until next May.

"I think that's everything," Nick sighed once he put the last of his belongings in his dorm room.

"Year four is under way," May giggled since she was still Nick's roommate.

"No doubt it is," Nick replied to May. "But it's another year before we can think about the next car wash battle."

With that, the two left for the den. They ran into Alex and Bridget on the way.

"At least we got some time to unwind before classes officially begin," Bridget told Alex.

"Totally!" Alex replied. "At least we're already unpacked and everything."

They then heard some claps from the den. When they checked it out, it was Mat catching up with the 2009 Motocross season, and the 250cc class had just concluded.

"And look at that," Mat commented. "Pourcel even put Windham a lap down!"

Melissa, Sam, and Haruka were also watching with Mat.

"Someone wanna fill us in?" Alex asked.

"250cc class from Unadilla in New York just concluded," Mat answered. "Christophe Pourcel just swept the motos and took the official points lead back from Ryan Dungey."

"Did I hear you say he put Windham down a lap?" Nick asked.

"Yep," Mat replied. "Kevin Windham came off the couch to race the 250 class – first time he's done that since 1997."

"That's surprising," Nick commented.

"Well, in Motocross, you can ride whatever class you want," Mat pointed out. "Even if Windham left the 125 class after 1997."

"Makes sense," May replied.

The 250cc points standings showed Pourcel was up by 6 points over Dungey, who went 2-2 for 2nd place overall for the day. 3rd overall went to Pourcel's teammate Jake Weimer #19 with a 3-3.

"I think the others went to the Mali-U beach," Haruka told Nick and the others. "Beach volleyball with Blaine."

"I'll be there after the 450cc class, which is up next," Mat told them. "But I think Chad Reed's road to the title got two notches easier after last week."

"Why's that?" Haruka wondered.

"Josh Grant got hurt at the X Games last week," Mat answered. "I think it's a broken foot."

"Yeah, I saw that crash," Nick stated. "And Grant being mad at his mechanic... that's crazy, bro!"

"I doubt we'll see Grant for the rest of the season," Mat deduced.

"Broken foot? Yeah, that sounds like a season-ender to me," Nick commented.

The 450cc class had Racer X Writer Jason Weigandt and 4-time Motocross champ Jeff Emig calling the race with Erin Bates as the pit reporter (same went for the 250 broadcast).

"Sam's happy about the 250cc class, though," Mat laughed.

"Well, of course," Sam giggled.

Before long, the moto 1 highlights were showing. Everyone reacted at race leader Jeff Alessi on his #801 privateer Honda go flying off his 450.

"And he walked away from something like that?!" Henya gasped.

"Man, Alessi, you are one lucky dude," Melissa chuckled.

Mat was already shaking his head in disbelief at new Yamaha signee Matt Goerke #34 going down in the first turn, then going down again and claiming another rider who hit his bike and went tumbling down the hill in front of him.

"Fastest qualifier, too on that new Factory Yamaha..." Mat sighed.

Fortunately, in the end, the moto 1 winner was none other than the points leader, Chad Reed, on his #22 Rockstar Makita Suzuki. To top it off, it was retro weekend at Unadilla, and Honda's Andrew Short and Ivan Tedesco were sporting throwback Hondas – Short a 1986-themed 450, and Tedesco on a 1970s silver Elsinore 450.

"Ooh, that's a throwback," May quipped.

"Hey, a true classic never goes out of style, right?" Nick replied.

"It's always nice to see the old-themed stuff," Mat replied. "Only guys from the '70s and '80s could talk about those graphics."

Currently, the second 450 moto had begun, and Honda's Short was leading the way with KTM's Justin Brayton #114 in 2nd place, and Chad Reed was lurking behind in 3rd.

"I'm glad to see that you're enjoying this now, Mat," Melissa giggled.

"Well, a lot of the competition is on the sidelines, but a title's a title no matter who's out there!" Mat emphasized.

Reed then got around Brayton for 2nd place after the program returned from commercial, and he was now preparing to execute his pass on Short for the lead until...

"AH MAN!" Mat exclaimed at Matt Goerke running into trouble once again in moto 2.

Jason: ...More trouble for the 34, and now he's got some repeater banners stuck in his bike! So, a terrible debut for the Factory Yamaha team! The good news is they've already said they're gonna keep Goerke on thru the end of the season, so he's got 3 more races to make good on that factory bike!

"Ouch," Melissa stated.

"So much for that," Alex sighed.

"Hey, it's not over yet," Bridget quipped. "A lot of sports guys have had slow starts, only to kick some butts later."

Simultaneously, Reed was already going for the lead on Short. Despite Short's good defensive riding, Reed found a way around him by tripling through a section of the track – much to Mat's delight.

"Now THIS is the Chad Reed I know!" Mat exclaimed.

Sam and Melissa chuckled at Mat; for someone like him, he had very good intuition.

"Bro, I think you're gonna make it in the sports world this way," Nick commented.

From that point on, it was clear sailing for Chad Reed en route to another 1-1 sweep and his 4th overall win of the season. With Josh Grant out for this race, and likely the rest of the series, the odds were very likely Chad Reed could wrap up the Motocross title at the next race in Budds Creek.

On the final lap, Reed whipped his Suzuki 450 flat off of one of the big tabletops at Unadilla.

Jeff: Feeling the flow, baby! Chad Reed is dialed in! He's gonna be extremely happy with how the outcome of this race went, especially because his qualifying position was so far back – he was 9th. He didn't panic...

"No way!" Mat added. "That's one of the best rides I've seen out of Chad Reed all year!"

Reed took the checkers for the moto 2 win, and he did indeed extend his lead in the series with only 3 rounds remaining.

"Well, now that Mat's race is over, I'm eager to trade these sweats for a bikini again," Haruka giggled and eyed Nick.

"Of course you are," Nick chuckled. "But just know that the next car wash battle isn't until next summer..."

"You don't have to remind me, pal..." Haruka retorted. "I already have you figured out."

1:08 P.M. – Malibu University

Beach Area

The rest of the spies were having fun on the beach in one of their few days of getting settled in.

"There they are," Britney told the others after Blaine got a point on them.

Before the rest of the spies could all join in the beach fun, Nick looked up when he noticed something odd in the air.

It appeared to be a large bubble of black light tinted with dark blue, with little bolts of electricity lancing out from it at different angles.

Nick motioned for everyone to get out of the way as the bubble expanded twice before shattering to reveal someone familiar to the spies.

She appeared to be about eighteen years old with light red eyes and pale blonde hair tied in bigger pigtails than before. This time, however, she was wearing a red witch hat with white linings, a white blouse with buttons, a red ruffled dress with girdles, white knee-high socks, black gloves, and Mary Jane shoes, ribbons and clover decorations embellished throughout, and a large leather bag over her shoulder.

Klee quickly started floating in the air, as she'd shifted in over the water, and she didn't want to ruin her new outfit.

"Hey, is that you, Klee?" Alex gasped, happy to once again see her daughter from the future.

"Love the new outfit, by the way," Nick chuckled.

"Thanks, papa," Klee giggled. "It's not Halloween yet, but I wanted to try the outfit on and see if it worked for me, and I think it does!"

Klee's expression then turned serious. "But... I wish I could say that I just came back to show you my witch dress," Klee stated. "There's trouble in the future, sadly."

"Do you know who it is this time?" Bridget wondered.

"From what I could tell, it looked like a real fake-y magician and some guy who probably thinks he's charming, but is actually a real sleazeball," Klee explained.

The spies all glanced at each other, knowing that those fit the descriptions of the Great Kandinsky and Kyle Katz perfectly.

"I don't even want to know how those two managed to time travel, especially considering Boogie Gus is still locked up," Britney admitted.

"Should we head to W.O.O.H.P. so we can use the Time Twister?" Sam asked.

"Actually, we don't need to worry about that this time around," Klee responded, gesturing to a futuristic watch-like device strapped to her right wrist. "We upgraded our own time travel tech so we can make return trips ourselves now."

"Very convenient," Nozomi quipped.

After putting in a call to Jerry and RiCO to let them know what was happening, the spies all stood close to Klee so she could initiate the time shift herself.

"RiCO, I'm ready to return," Klee proclaimed. "Commence return time shift."

Another time bubble surrounded the spies before popping and transporting them away.

4:31 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters

Twenty-One Years in the Future

The time bubble shattered again in Sortiliena's office, allowing the spies to step into the W.O.O.H.P. of the future once again.

Henya couldn't help but marvel at how much more technologically advanced this W.O.O.H.P. looked, and given this was the future, and it didn't appear to be under the Society's control...

...maybe there was hope for the world yet.

The office doors slid open just as the spies prepared to step out, revealing Sam and Mat's future daughter Kana, who looked slightly panicked, but her expression turned to relief when she saw her parents' past selves.

"Oh, thank goodness you made it!" Kana exclaimed, lunging forward to hug Sam and Mat.

"What's the matter, dearie?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, you look pretty upset," Mat noted.

"It's because my dad's upset," Kana explained. "That sleazeball and his magician friend are spreading gossip about dad and Klee's dad, and it's really hurting them."

"That sounds like something Kyle would do," Alex quipped.

"Well, then, let's go find them and give them the good ol' boot back to the past," Nick proclaimed, the spies all following Klee and Kana out of W.O.O.H.P. and into the Beverly Hills of the future, with Nick using his psychic radar to guide their way.

Their travels took them back to a very familiar beach house, which was still there, much to the present spies' relief.

And two suspicious figures were currently attempting to find a way inside it.

"Okay, that's all I need to see, really," Nick stated, raising his hand to catch both villains in his psychic hold and toss them away from the beach house.

"W-Who the hell?!" Kandinsky sputtered as he picked himself up. "...oh, it's you again."

"And that's supposed to mean what, you fake-ass magic reject?!" Bridget retorted.

"You want to explain what you're even doing here in the future?!" Sam shouted.

"Well, if you must know, when I made my escape from containment, I managed to swipe a prototype version of that time machine you spies use," Kyle admitted. "It was sadly one-way, but it accomplished our goals. Now, if you don't mind..."

Kyle attempted to flash the spies one of his patented "charming" grins, but not only did it not affect any of them this time, Henya did the honors and aimed her Wondercube for them, flooring both villains with a bright flash of light.

"Can the ridiculous smile, you nut," Henya taunted. "I've seen your type before, and I'm not impressed in the slightest."

"In that case, we must be off," Kandinsky responded, aiming his wand towards the ground to fire a blast of magic that obscured his and Kyle's escape.

"We can deal with them later," Nick quipped. "In the meantime, why don't we make sure our future selves are doing all right?"

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea," Mat stated.

"Serves that jackass Katz right," Bridget remarked.

"I'm surprised that you all still live here in the future," Henya told the current spies as Clover knocked on the door.

It was Future Haruka who answered the door.

"Are we glad to see you!" Future Haruka exclaimed.

"It must be alarmingly bad..." Nick deduced.

"That's an understatement," Future Haruka groaned as she let everybody in.

("Can You Stop the Rain?" by Peabo Bryson plays)

"Future Britney, Future Clover, and Future Blaine already headed out to try and contain some future damage," Future Dawn added when the rest of the future spies that were present saw the current spies.

"Hope they're having some luck," Clover replied.

"Both Nick and Mat have been benched from their jobs pending the outcome of things," Future Dawn told them. "They're pissed that their jobs don't seem to have their backs, either."

"What about the future me?" Sam wondered.

"And the future me?" Alex added.

"That's where we come in with some other news..." Klee remarked. "It seems that Kandinsky fellow hypnotized our moms into fully believing our dads did what they did!"

"And he got to our dads to fully believe they did what they did, too!" Kana chastised.

"Then if my guess is right..." Mat cringed. "We've only got borrowed time before my future self goes back to Hawaii to try look for jobs!"

"Same for me!" Nick proclaimed.

"Gee, you'd think James would go for something like this..." May groaned.

"Naturally, we know Nick and Mat are innocent," Future Haruka stated.

"I don't think they want to be seen, guys," Future May told the current spy team. "I could also be wrong, and I really hope I am, but I think I already saw Mat just starting to pack a bag."

"Damn!" Sam swore.

"Future Melissa is with him for the time being," Kana added. "You also just missed Future Nozomi because she just left to find the others."

"How come you guys aren't out there with the others?" Mat asked.

"Emotional support," Future Haruka sighed.

"We hate these circumstances just as much as you guys probably do," Future May stated. "But you guys should get downtown and see how Future Clover and the others are doing!"

"Is that where they are?" Haruka asked.

"Well, we should get there," Blaine told everyone.

"You aren't going there without us!" Klee exclaimed.

"That's our parents in trouble!" Kana added.

"Okay, when I find those two again, I'm going to mess them up for what they did," Nick growled. "I know they're petty villains, but this is seriously crossing the line!"

"You're gonna have to get in line, Nick," Alex proclaimed. "Not just brainwashing our future selves, but this, too?! Oh, just let me at those jerk-faces!"

"Then let's get out there and find them before they make things any worse," Henya stated.

With that, the spies set out into the city to find the rest of the future spies and hopefully deliver some well-deserved beatdowns to the two villains responsible for all of this.

On the way into the city, Nick's X-Powder rang, and he answered it to see the future versions of both Sortiliena and RiCO on the screen. In this future, Sortiliena was now the leader of W.O.O.H.P., as Future Jerry had retired due to his age not long after the Demiurge incident. No doubt this knowledge was part of why present Jerry had picked Sortiliena to be his temporary replacement back in the present time.

"We might be able to help you guys with that," Future RiCO stated.

"And in case you were wondering, everyone, I'm fully supportive of Nick and Mat, and it really irks me that everyone else has decided to side against them," Future Sortiliena responded.

"Well, duh, Liena," May quipped. "Future self or not, we know you'll always have our backs."

"Naturally," Future Sortiliena giggled. "But back to business for now, we've got a lock on both Sam and Alex's future selves."

"Here's hoping that we can un-brainwash them," Future May noted.

"Oh, that shouldn't be a problem," Nick quipped. "I've still got the ol' magic touch, after all."

Following Future RiCO's directions, it didn't take long for the spies to find most of their future selves attempting to deal with both Kandinsky and Kyle Katz, alongside the brainwashed Future Sam and Future Alex.

"Okay, this looks like it's gonna be a problem," Haruka noted.

"You all just deal with mister magic man and mister fake smile," Nick stated. "I'm gonna go snap those two out of it."

"Well, well, my lovelies, we meet again," Kyle laughed, flashing one of his grins only to have the wind knocked out of him courtesy of May clocking him in the chest with her anchor.

"Just go and stuff it, creep-a-tronic," May shot back.

"Now unless you want a whack from my anchor, too, you'd better drop your hypno-hold on Sam and Alex!" Future May shouted.

"Oh, thank goodness you're here, May," Future Nozomi quipped as the rest of the future spies all gathered, minus Future Melissa, who was still with Future Mat for emotional support. "Pardon the pun, but I'd say you brought backup just in time."

"Tell me about it," Future Britney admitted. "We've got more than enough on our plates dealing with these two..."

While all of this was going on, Nick quickly confronted the brainwashed Future Sam and Future Alex, who attempted to double-team him, only for Nick to dive-roll away, which only caused the two to collide with each other.

"Come on, you know they're the only ones who would do something like this!" Future Sam exclaimed as she picked herself up. "The evidence is right there!"

"Now I'm damn sure you're being hypnotized, because the real Sam would never say something like that about her one true love," Nick retorted as Future Sam and Future Alex approached him again.

Nick stood his ground and waited for them to get close enough, and when they both jumped him, Nick threw both of his hands outwards, unleashing a psychic pulse around him that sent them both crashing back to the ground.

After a few seconds, Future Sam looked at Future Alex, slightly confused.

"Um... Alex, what are we doing out here in the city?" Future Sam asked.

"Yeah, I thought you were going to see Mat and try to talk him out of moving?" Future Alex wondered, just then noticing Kandinsky and Kyle. "And what the heck are these two doing here?!"

"Long story short, they're part of the reason that all of this is happening," Nick quipped, stepping to the side to allow Klee and Kana to jump forward and hug their mothers.

"I jumped back in time to enlist our past selves' help in dealing with this problem, so that's why we took so long in getting here," Klee explained.

"We were so worried, mom, and we still kind of are," Kana admitted.

"Then what can we do?" Future Alex asked.

"I think helping us bonk these charlatans a few hundred times would be a good start," Nick teased.

"Oh, I'm all for that," Future Sam proclaimed. "Nobody slanders my man and lives to brag about it! Alex, let's kick some faces!"

"Music to my ears," Future Alex chuckled as they joined the battle as well.

Kandinsky waved his wand to create multiple illusions of both himself and Kyle in order to confuse the spies, but quickly found himself empty-handed when a double Final Shine Attack courtesy of Nick and Klee dissipated all of the illusions.

"You're already on my list, magic man," Klee proclaimed.

"Oh, and who are you supposed to be?" Kandinsky wondered, having never seen Klee before, only knowing that some of the spies had kids in this future.

"Is that really any of your business?" Klee shot back. "Now get out of my time or else!"

"Or else what, you little witch?" Kyle taunted.

"Oh, I'm very glad you asked that," Klee giggled, pressing her glowing palms together.

As the aquatic-blue glow surrounding her hands began to get brighter, Klee wrenched her hands apart, creating a sphere of psychic energy between her palms. A second later, Klee tossed the sphere of energy into the air, where it bloomed into a four-leaf clover shape, then split apart into multiple smaller four-leaf clovers that surrounded Kandinsky and Kyle and began firing psychic bolts rapid-fire before flooring both villains with a final shockwave, forcing both of them to retreat for the moment.

"Yeah, come back when you don't suck!" May and Future May shouted at the same time.

"Good to have you two back, honestly," Sam quipped to her future self.

"We're not done yet, though," Mat stated. "We'd better keep after those two before they make things worse."

"Speaking of which, how are the other kids taking it?" Melissa asked.

"Poor Molly's more confused than anything, but I think Anya can sense her dad's distress," Future Nozomi noted. "After all, I think Anya may have inherited some of her dad's psychic abilities, so maybe she can tell."

"Then let's keep chasing our baddies so we can fix this mess," Alex proclaimed.

"Man, time travel is a cornucopia of disturbing concepts," Henya admitted.

"Tell me about it," Nick proclaimed as the spies of past and future headed deeper into the city to find Kandinsky and Kyle before they could cause even more havoc, Klee putting in a call to the rest of her own team to come and assist.

"What about Future Nick? Who's with him if Future May and Future Nozomi are with us?" Blaine wondered as they went off into the city.

"Anya is," Klee answered. "Naturally, I told Dad he's innocent, but I think he's having a hard time coping; Future Mat's no different."

"Yeah... false stuff like that can affect you mentally," Nick cringed.

"We ought to know," Sam quipped, remembering back to Macker the Safecracker.

Clover and Alex immediately recalled that, too, and the events that followed as well.

"And Jerry got what he deserved afterwards for not believing us," Alex replied.

"But thankfully, he turned a corner there," Haruka added.

With that, Future RiCO came buzzing on Future Sam's X-Powder.

"I've picked up Kyle Katz and Kandinsky nearby," Future RiCO told them.

"Well, Kyle Katz had no luck in Hawaii, so he should have no luck here!" Melissa exclaimed.

"It looks like they're hanging around the residential district," Future RiCO answered.

"Glad to see that never changes," Melissa quipped.

"Yes, that was a fun mission," Future Haruka commented. "Jerry even sent us to Hawaii after other missions quite a bit, too."

"Totally cool!" Clover exclaimed.

"Hey, Mat had a pretty good point about Future Mat," Melissa then stated to Future Sam. "Maybe you better go back and stop him before he even gets the first flight out and you lose him."

"That's right," Future Britney gasped.

"You bagged a good guy, Sam," Future Clover told Future Sam. "Alex, you better do the same thing with Nick..."

"Totally!" Future May chimed in.

"And Amber, Mona, and Sucrose are coming, too!" Klee added.

"We have more than enough to stop those two spodes!" Future Nozomi insisted. "Look, we know you want to wail on Kyle Katz and Kandinsky, but you really should head back at least, Sam!"

Future Sam didn't need to be told another word, and she listened to the entire spy team; Future Alex followed her to save her marriage to Nick. After all, it was a spy team of well over twenty people.

"I hope they won't be too late," Nick stated.

He and Mat were understandably worried by these circumstances.

"You didn't deserve this, guys," Clover remarked.

"We better not be too late, Sammy," Future Alex told Future Sam.

"Totally," Future Sam chastised. "I sure hope my future with Mat-honey isn't thrown away..."

They both knew they had two kids to worry about in Klee and Anya for Future Nick and Future Alex, and Kana and Molly for Future Mat and Future Sam.

Please, Mat-honey... you better not have left, Future Sam thought once they reached the beach house.

Back with the rest of the team, they managed to find Kandinsky and Kyle already fighting off a trio of spies.

"Looks like my team got here just in time to help out," Klee quipped. "Hey, Sucrose, over here!"

"Ah, Klee, you're just in time," Sucrose responded as she dual-wielded Cyclone Blast Hairdryers to fend off the two villains.

"I would say you're 'fashionably late', but that's usually my thing," Amber chuckled as she dodged a magic blast from Kandinsky before throwing a Baron Bunny plushie towards the villains that swiftly exploded and sent them both reeling.

"Says the girl who's actually on time for once," Mona teased as she sent Kyle flying with an Ultra High Pressure Water Cannon.

"So sorry, but I'm not dealing with your shenanigans today," Kandinsky proclaimed as he hit Kyle with a magic blast to power him up.

"Oh, that's not good," Mona quipped.

"Everybody, move!" Sucrose shouted as Kyle lunged forward to punch the ground hard enough to leave a crater.

"Yeah, now who's the charmer, ladies?" Kyle laughed, only to be sent flying by two Final Shine Attacks courtesy of Nick and Klee.

"Yeah, how about 'screw you', Kyle?" Nick taunted.

"You've got a hell of a lot to answer for after what you've done," Klee proclaimed.

"Well, sorry, but you're really not my type, little lady," Kyle chuckled. "You may be eighteen now, but I really don't appreciate someone who's trying to ruin my dating life."

"You're the one who's trying to destroy our families, you conceited little jerk!" Kana shouted as she rushed forward to attack Kyle.

Nick fired a flurry of psychic shots to make Kyle 'dance' so that Kana could slip in and thrust her right foot forward to kick Kyle in a rather personal place.

"And that's what you get," Future Britney taunted.

While Kyle was stumbling (because magic-given boost or not, that still hurt like hell), both May and her future self jumped in to swing their anchors at both villains, sending them both sprawling.

Alex continued the attack by sending Kandinsky and Kyle flying backwards with a Sonic Disintegrator Boombox, then Nick switched in to unleash a Zero Gravity that sent both villains floating helplessly into the air.

"Well? Anything to say for yourselves?" Nick stated.

"Don't think you've won yet!" Kyle exclaimed.

"Yup, that's what I thought," Nick sighed as he blasted both of them away with a Final Shine Attack.

As the magic-induced boost wore off, both Kandinsky and Kyle looked at each other and decided to retreat for the moment, satisfied with the damage they'd already done for the moment.

"Why do they always leave when we're kicking their teeth in?" Henya wondered.

"Which of the rules for villains should I refer you to?" Haruka teased.

"Now that that's been taken care of for the moment, I think we'd better address the proverbial elephant in the room," Nick quipped as he flipped open his X-Powder to contact Future Sam. "Is everything okay with you two? Your husbands didn't book it, did they?"

"Thankfully, they're still here, but I'm worried," Future Sam answered. "I'm not sure what else to say to convince him to stay here."

"I'm pretty much in the same boat," Future Alex responded.

"Well, then, let's head back so we can figure this out," Sam proclaimed. "I'm not letting our happy marriage in the future end like this."

"Well said, Sammy," Alex replied.

"What about those two?" Future Nozomi wondered.

"I'll keep tracking them for you," Future RiCO responded. "You all just take care of the bigger problem before it's too late, 'kay?"

"Trust us, RiCO, we're all over that," Future Clover answered as the spies of both past and future took off into the sky to get back to their beach house...

...hopefully before it was too late.

Next time...

Nick: How's everything going?

Future Sam: I'm scared, honestly. I feel like I'm running out of options.

Clover: Yeesh, this is pretty bad. Is there anything we can do?

Future Melissa: At this point, I don't know. I just hope you'll have better luck than we did.

Future Mat: Honestly, I don't even see why you'd bother at this point. Nobody seems to have our backs, you all being the exception.

Mat: Come on, future me, you can't let it end like this! You know what these two are like, and you've weathered their games before!

May: Yeah, we've dealt with this kind of gossip before and we managed to stay together! All you're doing by resigning yourself is letting them win!

Future Nick: I can't... I thought I could handle this, but... I give up.

Henya: ...wait, Nick, what are you...?

Nick: All right, that's it. If you'll all excuse me, readers, I need to have words with my future self next time on Totally Spies: Time to Come Home, "Running Out the Clock"!

Alex: Ooh, that performance gave me chills. But in a good way, I promise!

Nick: Was it really that good? I've been practicing those lines a lot because I want it to have some oomph.
