"Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island! After the fallout of Harold's idol play it became clear that Harold and Cody were going to have to fight to stay alive. We saw our final seven battle it out by… standing there.. Trust me it was far more boring to see it in person. Temptations beckoned some campers off of the platforms, some fell off on their own, and others managed to haggle to the bitter end. Finally we saw two, Bridgette and Todd, two friends and allies who wound up in the last position. But it was Bridgette who made a deal with the Canadian Classic of Poutine to give her friend the immunity. After Todd won the immunity challenge it became clear that Harold was no longer the main target, but rather his partner in crime Cody and his former ally Alejandro becoming the main targets. Despite Todd's best efforts to eliminate Alejandro, Alexis and Bridgette decided it best that Cody were to be eliminated from the game instead. Six are left, who will go home this time on TOTAL DRAMA PAHKITEW ISLAND!"
Before Challenge
"Alright Alejandro… you know I'm all alone now. You have officially pantsed me and hung them on the flag pole," Harold said, defeated to the Spaniard.
"Uh huh… well you are right that you are alone, but I view that as a positive. Like you are a free agent that anyone can pick up to make a move," Alejandro replied, earning an eyebrow raise from Harold who appeared to lean in towards Alejandro in intrigue.
"What are you implying?"
"I'm implying that I would like to pick you up to make a move," Alejandro replied, a slight smirk on his face.
"And said move would be on?"
"I'm thinking Todd. Easy beat for any of us in a tie, and we could maybe even avoid it if Geoff were to vote with us," Alejandro explained.
"I don't think Geoff is that reliable at this point, he seems pretty in with Bridgette," Harold remarked.
"I think Geoff would still at least vote Todd with us if it meant Bridgette didn't catch votes," Alejandro replied.
"I don't think you're wrong, but still we both know he can flip on a dime if someone's feelings are hurt."
"Either way amigo, I don't want you to go home."
"Thanks," Harold smiled as he walked away. Alejandro started to walk in the other direction just as Harold suddenly appeared in front of Alejandro, soaking wet and radiating spring. "That was weird."
"Que raro indeed," Alejandro said. He took a step forward onto a sudden block of ice and slipped. "Esa tambien fue rara."
Confessional, Harold
Harold is back in the game! Boo-Ya
Confessional, Alejandro
I know I let up on my going after Todd agenda, but do not worry, I haven't forgotten about our little map maker.
"Geoff, how did you get over Laine going home?" Alexis asked, her eyelids were dark with lack of sleep, and her eyes looked incredibly puffy. The pair were inside the cave, Geoff had been taking a nap while Alexis was sitting in the corner. Geoff walked over to her and put his arm around her in comfort.
"I know it's tough Alexis. But you'll see him again soon. He never seemed like the type to be mad about anything. I know you were stuck between choosing two of your closest friends, I'm sure Cody would understand," Geoff said, his voice softer than usual.
"I know, but he seemed so sad, and like, him and I grew so close the last few days, it just hurts to see him go out. Like I don't regret my decision, I just feel guilty."
"It'll be okay Alexis, don't worry. At the end of the day this is all one big game. I'll help you wherever I can."
"I really appreciate that Geoff," Alexis replied, wiping away a tear and giving the party animal a big hug.
"Anytime Alexis," Geoff replied, returning the hug.
The two suddenly jumped apart when a big pink boulder fell in front of them. "Does that smell like fish to you?" Geoff asked.
"It smells a lot like a duck too," Alexis stated in confusion.
Confessional, Alexis
Geoff is way too kind for this world. Seriously, Bridgette you got a good one.
Confessional, Geoff
This game man. I know I've played a good game by most people's standards, but it doesn't mean I'm the most proud of it. I just hope people like Eva aren't too mad at me.
Todd and Bridgette were seen talking by what had become their go to spot by the river, both looked rather agitated with the other.
"Bridgette seriously? We had a perfect shot at the golden boy and you voted out Cody!? Of all people?"
"You gotta see the bigger picture Todd, their side is fractured, we split up a duo, and we've brought Geoff back into the fold," Bridgette replied.
"You mean you brought Geoff back in, he isn't loyal to me, he's only loyal to you and maybe Alejandro!"
"If he's loyal to me then he won't vote you out!"
"And if he's loyal to Alejandro?"
"Then we scoop up Harold."
"We need a fourth person, I don't exactly have faith in myself or Harold to win a tiebreaker against Adonis one or Adonis two over there."
"Look Todd. Alexis and Geoff are both with me, and by proxy you, we have a solid group to make it to the final four with ease, and then we can pick between Geoff and Alexis at that point."
Todd sighed in defeat. "I'm not happy about your decision, but you're my best friend out here, so I'll trust your judgment."
"Thanks Todd," Bridgette replied as the pair hugged it out.
The two stood awkwardly apart from each other just as a small cannon appeared from the ground. It fired cheese into the air and landed on Todd. "You're not vegan right?" Todd asked.
"No, but I'm disgusted right now."
Confessional, Todd
I know Bridgette is smart, so I guess I'll trust her decision making, but this feels like such a boneheaded move to me. Like Geoff and Alexis are both also loyal to Alejandro… I don't even know. (he sniffs his hoodie) Why do I smell like coconuts?
Confessional, Bridgette
I know I can't tell Todd about how close my bond actually is with Alexis or my deal with Alejandro and Geoff, because then he will never trust me. But I know I'll have to betray one of them at some point. I know who it'll be, but I want to delay it as much as possible. (she holds her hand up, revealing it covered in some weird fondue) What I DON'T want to delay is getting this cheese away.
The campers were directed to a clearing surrounded by trees and rocks that started to pop in and out of the ground at random intervals. Chef, Chris, and Dakota pulled up on a jeep with concerned glances. "Alright everyone, you might have noticed Pahkitew Island is… currently undergoing something strange…" Chris explained as he hopped from the back of the car.
Dakota set up a small monitor as Chef put on a helmet under his chef's hat. "Trust me, trust Chris, and trust Dakota, it isn't much more pleasant for us."
"It's time we reveal the twist of the season," Dakota said as she pulled up a schematic of the island. "Pahkitew Island, in collaboration with the Canadian Government, several research facilities who have opted to remain anonymous, Milton Industries, and other anonymous environmental groups, is artificial."
"FINALLY!" Todd threw his hands in the air. "But why didn't you just say robotic?"
"Wait… THE ISLAND'S ROBOTIC?!" Geoff shouted.
"You didn't know?- I thought you did - actually it wasn't that obvious to me- I just thought Todd lost it- No, Todd made sense, you didn't- quack - wait why wouldn't you believe me?- Is the sound system off?-" The campers started clamoring.
"HEY! THE ISLAND AND THE MILLION ARE IN DANGER!" Chris snapped. The three dimensional model of the island started to spin around revealing the robotic skeleton underneath. Chris pulled out a laser pointer only to be suddenly blown away by a gust of wind.
The campers watched as Chris spun around in the sky before landing down, his hair frazzled, and his shirt tousled in a horrible manner. "Oww"
"Now, thanks to the mechanics of the island, there have been several entry points that have opened up," Chef explained, yanking the tablet from Dakota's hands. Eight orange dots lit up against the wireframe map of the island. "It took a lot of work and we deemed at least eight points to be safe for entry. So that means you have to find one of these entry points and get into the underbelly."
"How big is this place?" Alexis asked.
"Bigger than you know," Dakota said. "Get to the center control room, determine what's causing the interference, and get rid of it to not just restore the island but also get immunity."
"That's it?" Alejandro asked. "Do we at least get helmets?"
"Since when have we offered you helmets? And even if we did, we'd store them in one of the store houses here, and one of them just got crushed by a tree!" As if on cue, a giant pine tree fell on top of the monitor. Harold and Alexis screamed as the tree seemed to unfurl into more and more branches dangerously close to each other. "Get going!" Chef demanded.
Confessional, Geoff
I'm still trying to like, wrap my head around it, but…. ROBOTS?!
"Should we stick together?" Harold asked as the group ran off away from the central gathering place.
"If only one of us can win immunity then shouldn't we split up?" Alejandro brought up.
"I don't want to get hurt, and I don't want to run alone," Bridgette said.
"There's at least eight safe houses and supposedly they all make it to the same area," Todd chimed in.
"But, this is like, gnarly brah," Geoff, still at a loss of words, started.
"Let's just pair off!" Alexis suddenly clung to Alejandro. "That way if one of us dies the other can carry the corpse to the end!"
The group suddenly stopped. "What? Just being realistic."
"I hate to say it, but she has a point," Alejandro moved away from Alexis. "And a part of me sees the relief on all of your faces that we don't have to be in a big group."
"Then how are we splitting up?" Harold asked.
"Can't really draw straws," Todd mused.
Just then a sudden avalanche of sprinkles erupted from a nearby rock. All six separated from the circle they had formed into randomly drawn pairs as the wind picked up and threw many of them away. "I guess that solves that problem," Todd said to whoever was nearby.
Covered in blue sprinkles, the figure coughed and wiped some sprinkles from their clothes. "Ayayay… mi cabeza…" Alexis suddenly rubbed her head. "Toddito?"
"Just Todd, not a Dorito."
"I hope you don't mind but I'm going to be following your lead, you seem like you have a better memory than me, con el mapa obviamente," Alexis reassured Todd.
"Alright, say… you have some kind of-" Alexis batted away three green sprinkles from her eyebrow. "It's gone." Todd pointed off somewhere behind Alexis and the two darted off.
Confessional, Alexis
Yo no recuerdo los conversaciones con Todd… which is strange because I did wind up spending like, two thirds of the pre merge with him. Hopefully we can catch up but I think he was one of the three who voted for Alejandro
Confessional, Todd
At least I don't have to look out for Alejandro throwing me under the bus this time around. Wouldn't put it past him. Dude is way too perfect at everything.
Bridgette doubled over and spat up about a dozen sprinkles in a rapid fire. "Ew…"
"Mismo aqui," Alejandro emptied some sprinkles from his shirt pocket. "Estas bien Bridgette?" Alejandro moved over to the surfer. He helped her stand to a more alert height as she started to breathe a little easier.
"I like sugar as much as the next girl but I think that was a little too much," Bridgette explained.
"Totally understandable. Pero tenemos prisa ahora, unless we want to end up buried in chocolate fondue," Alejandro joked.
"Yeah," Bridgette smiled. A giant tree stump fell from the sky in front of them. "THAT WAY!"
Confessional, Bridgette
…Something about Alejandro. I know his number one appears to be Alexis but I think I'm in his good graces still. Hopefully I can reassure that during this challenge.
Confessional, Alejandro
I have wanted to talk to Bridgette a little sooner rather than later and I may as well take this opportunity to do so. Maybe we can come to an agreement.
Stuck in a tree, Geoff looked around to see Harold somehow buried in sand. "I didn't think sand came this far into the forest," Geoff shouted.
"It's quicksand!" Harold shouted. "VERY AGGRESSIVE QUICKSAND! HELP!"
"I've got you!" Geoff freed himself from the tangle of branches, only to land head first in the sand right next to Harold.
"My hero," Harold snarked. Geoff started kicking his legs wildly as Harold craned his neck to avoid Geoff's muscular legs. "Watch those legs bro!"
Geoff mumbled something up before his mumbling gave way to some screams. Harold stared at the camera before he was suddenly pulled down into the ground. He clanged onto what seemed like a metal walkway. Surrounded by lighting that wouldn't be out of place in a subway car. "Did you have to pull me down that hard?"
"Sorry bro, I panicked. This place is really… alien," Geoff mentioned.
"Looks like a standard underground complex to me," Harold pointed out.
"Do you remember how to get to the center?" Geoff shook his hat of sand.
"No, we're gonna be needing to find a map," Harold pointed out.
"Cool, what does that look like?"
Harold raised an eyebrow as he grabbed Geoff by his pink shirt. "Come on."
Confessional, Harold
GOSH! Sometimes Geoff is an idiot.
Confessional, Geoff
I mean yeah I pulled Harold down but you'd do the same if you were like, freaked and weirded out too. Just needed someone there.
A creative camera shot showed Alexis and Todd on opposite sides of a hole looking into it. "No telling how far it goes, but I remember this is one of the safer ones," Todd mentioned.
"We don't even have balls to save us this time," Alexis lamented. "But immunity awaits. Hopefully it's not too dangerous down there."
"If I had wood I'd-ACK!" A tree suddenly bent over and tapped Todd into the hole.
Not five seconds later Alexis found herself pushed into the hole by another tree.
Several camera shots captured Todd and Alexis screaming down the deep hole before both ended up crashing on a pile of pillows. "What is this place?" Alexis groaned.
"I'm thankful for pillows," Todd quietly whispered.
Alexis helped Todd up from the pile of fluff as she looked around the room. "I hear a lot of electricity. I think Sugar was complaining about heat all that time ago," Alexis reminisced. "So we better be careful. Good thing you're scared of fire and not electricity."
"Let's just hope we don't run into-"
"Icicles?"
"I don't necessarily want to be stabbed by that but I'll take it over a burn."
The two looked around their hallway. It was tinged in red, blue, and yellow lights all around the walkways. If nothing else there were railings to show it was Labour Board and OSHA compliant but the grated floors beneath them showed it could be used for draining. "How did the interns manage walking through this?" Todd started to ask. "If it were me I'd look for-MAP!"
Alexis and Todd caught sight of several maps displayed on a wall and ran towards them, unaware that just underneath the island was still moving.
Back on the surface, Bridgette and Alejandro had taken shelter next to a rather large rock as what seemed like brown water cascaded in such a way they remained dry. "If it weren't so brown-"
"It'd be bonito," Alejandro finished. "I hope the water isn't blocking our entry underneath." As he leaned back against the rock to scope out the area he wound up hitting a cleverly disguised part of the rock that suddenly sunk into the wall.
Bridgette grabbed hold of Alejandro's shirt just as he was about to take a tumble down the entry. "Sure let's go with that," Bridgette sighed once she and Alejandro were stable. "Do you want me to go first?"
"I ascribe to the older less problematic parts of chivalry," Alejandro mentioned. "Only if you want to go first."
"How gentlemanly," Bridgette smiled as she entered the doorway. She took a step onto the rocky cave that just appeared and made a little hop. She did another louder jump expecting for something to fall in front of the ceiling but nothing was happening. "It's safe!"
Alejandro quickly followed Bridgette into the shelter just as he was splashed by the brown water. "It really is just water right?" Alejandro asked.
"Yeah, I don't see any pollutants on your shirt. Shame you got it wet."
"Ah, well, It's no problem. I can always take it off."
"How… no, you don't need to do that," Bridgette quickly replied, flustered.
Confessional, Bridgette
Is Alejandro trying to steal me away from Geoff? I mean… I wouldn't mind seeing that… body and getting up to closer quarters…
…
..
If I weren't interested in Geoff that's for sure.
Confessional, Alejandro
I don't necessarily have any intention of driving Bridgette away from su novio, but if I can disarm her enough to work con Alexis y yo, that secures me into the final four at the very least.
"Dude you're kinda wigging me out with your-" Geoff said as Harold seemed to strike kung-fu poses at every step they took.
"Gotta be prepared. First lesson from-"
"Karate Steve's Karate camp?"
"Actually that's the second lesson from Karate Steve's Karate Camp. I learned that from Suave Steve's Hosting camp," Harold clarified.
"How many camps does Steve run, because he's like, a well blue individual." Geoff and Harold turned a corner as they heard one of the walkways behind them suddenly fall to the floor.
"You mean well read, right?" Harold asked.
"Sure man," Geoff shrugged. "But you didn't answer my question."
Harold held his hand out to prevent Geoff from stepping onto a tangle of wires. "That's some kind of hazard right there, just keep your eye out. And to answer your question Steve has a rotating catalog, these are moreso day camps." "So umm, Didn't you play football?"
"Yeah, American, not Alejandro style," Geoff specified.
"Sounds good, most of the jocks I meet usually greet me by pulling my undies over my head," Harold mentioned.
"Aww dude," Geoff sighed. "I know you and I have like, frix between us, but if my friends on the team ever did that to you you can bet that I'd ask them not to again."
"Suppose I could get a little pretentious at times but still doesn't justify it if you ask me," Harold scratched his head. The two stepped on a grate and suddenly dropped through the flooring. Both screamed just as the camera followed them as they landed in a pool of water. "Huh.. I guess this is where they store the fish."
Geoff pulled his hat off of his head and suddenly revealed an eel. The two stared at it confused before a current of electricity suddenly surged through the both of them.
Confessional, Geoff
Like, Gosh man, who knew Harold had it tough. That was shocking, him and the eel.
Confessional, Harold
It's really hard to hate a guy like Geoff, even with his usual jockish brah type.
Alexis and Todd aimlessly walked down a corridor. "You're sure this is the direction we have to go, right?" Alexis asked again.
"Yeah," Todd mentioned. He leaned on the wall to rub his eyes when Alexis stopped suddenly to fix her shirt. "How did you audition for the show?"
"Me?" Alexis turned to Todd. "Well, I tried showing off my school life, pero… I have this weird.. Problem you see, I think I told you about my bullies right? Yeah, I'm not sure what happened but during my audition a bunch of dudes I have class with kept showing me my homework."
"Wait, why would they do that?" Todd and Alexis continued to walk as the camera angle showed them descending further and further down.
"I don't know, maybe it has to do with the fact that I 'have dirt' on the principal or that 'I'm the spoiled princess blah blah blah,'" Alexis mocked. Todd snorted. "Glad you could find humor in this. Must have worked somehow because I'm here with you, hopefully about to tell me about your audition story."
Todd seemed to roll his eyes as he and Alexis stopped at a mechanical archway. "Me, my girlfriend, my best friend, and three of our other friends decided to all audition. They stormed my house and invaded my bedroom and held some of my mapmaking tools hostage. Somehow I'm the only one who got chosen despite turning mine in last."
"Sounds like a good crew," Alexis said as she leaned on one of the sides. There was a sudden flash as Alexis was thrown from the arch way onto Todd on the other side. "Ow…"
The two recovered and looked at the button Alexis seemed to press. Or rather… buttons. They stared at each other before they were suddenly blown back by a large gust of wind. A hole opened in one of the walls and Todd and Alexis were knocked inside.
Confessional, Todd
Yeesh, even the winds in the prairies aren't as strong as this!
Confessional, Alexis
Wouldn't be the first time I had a tech mishap. Maybe I should have talked about that in my audition.
Alejandro looked through a small vent as Bridgette stood guard over him. The metal surroundings began to creak. Suddenly the vent expanded into a size that Chef Hatchet could walk through. "I guess that answers that," Bridgette peered from behind Alejandro.
"Pero, what if the size changes again? We should look somewhere else," Alejandro dissuaded.
Bridgette nodded but her agreement suddenly disappeared as a loud roar came from just yonder of the two's relative position. "RUN!" Bridgette suddenly shoved Alejandro in front of her. The two scampered into the vent as something heavy started following in their tracks.
"Sorry Alejandro," Bridgette said as the two sprinted through the vent. Alejandro and Bridgette only had a couple of feet of distance from each other but Bridgette tripped over her own two feet. "AL!"
Biting back a grimace, Alejandro turned to see, still wearing a snorkel and somewhat wet, Scuba Bear started to rush towards Bridgette. He steeled himself as he rushed towards Bridgette and the bear. A beam fell from the giant vent and whacked the approaching predator as he ran into it full speed. Bridgette backed away as Scuba Bear put its paws to his face, before suddenly pulling away, revealing a face that was one half brown, furry, and vicious while the other half revealed itself to be glowing red, sparkling with yellow, and all stainless steel. "RETIRO!" Alejandro grabbed Bridgette by the hand.
The two of them continued to run as Scuba Bear's roars started to echo in the vent. Alejandro, slightly ahead, stopped just as they reached a final opening in the vent. Blinded by the light, Alejandro put his hands over his face, only to suddenly thrust them out as Bridgette ran into his back. "Sorry Alejandro!" Bridgette frantically screamed. She was soon blinded by the light once she stepped forward. Her hands held out, she stepped out of the vent, and suddenly plummeted.
Alejandro adjusted his stance once his vision adjusted and jumped across the gap. "Lo siento Bridgey!" Alejandro called down to the slowly shrinking image of the surfer girl. He noticed two elevators in front of him before suddenly jumping into one. "Abajo..Abajo…" Alejandro said.
The camera cut briefly to Alejandro inside the elevator before
Confessional, Bridgette
If Scuba Bear is mechanical, does that mean all the wildlife was mechanical? Like the fish? The birds? CLUCKY?!
Confessional, Alejandro
Ay… I can only hope Bridgette did well on her own…
Harold and Geoff continued their rather boring trek in a lower part of Pahkitew island. Both were still dripping with water but not necessarily drenched. "I hope we get to a heated room soon," Harold spoke up.
"Oh that's just asking for it brah," Geoff turned to the nerd. The two stopped moving for a moment as Geoff explained, "You know like when you're going out for a hella chill surf and you want the waves to be just pristine but then you say 'it feels like a lovely day today' and then the weather totally fakes you out and the killjoys at the beach raise the red flag?"
"Not really," Harold stared at Geoff. "Gosh this code switching isn't really working out."
"I mean, my tutors seem to be speaking in code if you ask me. But they're trained in general education, not like, computer coding."
Harold seemed to open his mouth for a snippy retort before he closed his mouth. "Do you feel a draft?" Geoff asked.
His question was answered when a screaming mass suddenly fell on top of Geoff. "GOSH!" Harold rushed over to Geoff. "Bridgette?"
"Harold?" Bridgette asked. "GEOFF!" She realized as she was on top of the partier.
"Bridge!" Geoff groaned.
The trio looked up at where Bridgette fell from, suddenly keenly aware of the giant chute above them, and the pair of elevators in front of them. One of the elevators suddenly opened as a signal on top started to brighten. "NO!" Bridgette hurriedly rushed to the door.
Harold and Geoff swiftly rushed to help her close the door. The nerd recoiled as Scuba Bear broke his face through the elevator doors for a moment. While Bridgette and Geoff pushed the doors to keep Scuba Bear from breaking out another elevator opened.
"HAROLD! INSIDE!" Aleandro called out, holding his arm out for Harold to grab. Geoff and Bridgette motioned for Harold to go just as Scuba Bear's elevator started to lower. Geoff and Bridgette closed the door on Scuba Bear's nose as sparks flew. Next to them, Harold and Alejandro's elevator closed. "SEE YOU DOWNSIDE!" Alejandro called out.
Geoff and Bridgette slumped against the closed elevator doors before another elevator opened up. The two took an awkward step inside and collapsed on the floor.
Confessional, Harold
Man this so goes against my code to leave the two behind. I hope they're alright.
Confessional, Geoff
Behind with Bridgette in an elevator.. Not necessarily a good method to be left alone but I'll take it.
Alexis and Todd ducked under some live wires as they rushed towards an open door. A small office seemed to be largely intact. There seemed to be another door opposite to the two of them which seemed to be adjacent to a pair of buttons, one red and one white. They looked at the monitors in front of them. They looked at the label below the monitor at a rudimentary map in front of them. 'We're in one of the tertiary offices, this one looks like it's set for surveillance," Todd quickly gleaned over as Alexis hit buttons on a panel.
The scenes on the monitors flickered back and forth before one monitor showed the target room and another monitor showed a pair of elevators. "THAT'S IT!" Alexis shouted. "Todd, where is that?"
Todd's fingers traced the map again as he matched symbols on the map to the symbols on the monitors. "Primary control! Yeah that's it! Let's go!"
Too excited, Todd didn't look where he was going as he suddenly ran into the buttons that lowered one of the doors. He rebounded back into Alexis' arms as the door seemed to stall about halfway up. "That needs to be fixed," Alexis commented as she and Todd stabilized each other. "Okay, maybe we should lure the others over…"
"Good idea, more bodies to recover," Todd said as he held his head.
Alexis slid a slider on one of the control panels. A bright red arrow appeared on one of the monitors just as Alejandro and Harold stepped out. Alexis could see the two leaning on the other elevator doors as they noticed the red arrow. She read their lips as best as they could before Todd called out to her.
"Do you think that they know where to go?" Todd asked.
"To my knowledge, yes," Alexis said as they started to walk down the corridor. The other control burst into flames and Todd scurried far ahead of the Latina.
Confessional, Alexis
They either said "We'll go to that arrow with Bridgette or Geoff" or Alejandro convinced Harold to lick his own elbow in an ice cream cone. One of those things.
Confessional, Todd
With how robotic the island is, I'm surprised that this entire thing hasn't burst into flames. THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT!
"You know, the presence of the elevators makes a lot of challenges make a lot more sense," Alejandro paced around. "I see you're getting restless Harold. Just because this is a race doesn't mean we shouldn't look out for our competitors in such a precarious location. Que deshonroso sería si los dejaramos atrás y sucediera algo."
"Agreed, it would be dishonorable," Harold mentioned. "A lot of the strangeness of the island is making a lot more sense. Cody got launched in the air by rocket trees." He took a deep breath and reclined against the elevator doors.
"And I remember Laine complaining about the waters being… how did he put it… ei oikea."
"If I remember correctly, the elevators have to lead deeper into the mines. Unless it takes us down that same stalagmite from-"
"The orb episode," Alejandro sighed. "Yo recuerdo."
Catching Alejandro's dismissive glance, Harold started to retort, only for an elevator to open at his feet. He fell on top of Bridgette and Geoff. "Gosh… sorry Bridge."
Bridgette lifted her head off of the ground with a grunt. "Harold you must have hit my head hard, I'm seeing a big crazy red arrow…"
"No that's real," Geoff said as Harold got off of Bridgette. "I take it, that's where we're supposed to go?"
"What other choice do we have?" Harold mentioned. "Besides running through the maze of electricity, metal, wires, and other horrors in store."
Bridgette fixed her light blue sweatshirt. Geoff adjusted his hat. Alejandro tapped his feet impatiently. Harold stared at the other three. "Maybe Alexis did that," Alejandro mentioned. "Bright girl."
"Let's run," Geoff said as he started to run. After him was Alejandro, then Bridgette, then Harold. The camera focused on their slowly disappearing backsides before going through several establishing shots.
Confessional, Bridgette
They could have chosen a better song for the elevator. I did not want to hear another rendition of mainstream surf sounds.
Confessional, Harold
Alejandro really takes up a bit of a leadership role. Really wish he'd defer to one of us every once in a while.
Confessional, Alejandro
What the others lack is initiative. Geoff shows a lot of it. It's all the more imperative I get on the side with Geoff rather than Harold. Hopefully my interactions with Bridgette allow that to happen.
Confessional, Geoff
What else are we supposed to do?
Alexis and Todd skidded through a giant room with slick flooring. "THERE IT IS!" Alexis said as she suddenly turned on her heels. Todd failed in stopping his momentum and slid through the room as Alexis managed to walk to the door. When she stepped closer a floating orb descended from the ceiling. "Todd?"
"I'm okay," Todd managed to mumble. "Do you want to-"
"Let's touch it," Alexis said as she held her hand out. The orb suddenly became transparent as the pair seemed to peer into it much more closely.
Todd and Alexis put their hands on the orb. "Huh, it's a map," Alexis spoke out.
"And there- in the center- that weird round thing-"
"What weird round thing? I'm holding onto one right now."
"Whatever," Todd dismissed. "Look, there's six figures and two of them are right next to each other. And there's four more running through this maze."
"Have you ever played perplexus?" Alexis asked. "This is what it reminds me of."
"I think so," Todd replied. "Well there's the door in front of us. For the control room I presume."
"Yeah, let's see if we can get in, this is still a race."
Todd and Alexis looked at the lock in front of them. "Por qué necesitamos a todos de nosotros?!" Alexis groaned. Twelve blue finger print scanners each shone with a pulsing green light.
"Hold on, I think…yeah, this spot is weak right here. Do you have anything on you that I can like…-" Todd started shuffling through his hoodie pockets. "That I can break through?"
"Hmm, since it's electronic, do you think we can charge up this… I think I found a bobby pin in my pocket, would that work?"
"Worth a shot," Todd said as Alexis started scraping her pin against the metal door. Just as sparks started to fly, and just as Todd started flinching, the lock seemed to weaken, and Todd leaned heavily on it, bending it but only a bit. "I really should take Vance up on that offer" Todd said through gritted teeth.
While Alexis looked around the rest of the door, she heard several footsteps behind her. "Geoff! Alejandro! Bridgette! Harold! Soccorro!"
"Why's she asking about Soccer?" Bridgette asked Alejandro.
"Soccorro, it's another word for help," Alejandro sprinted.
Todd continued leaning on the lock as it grew weaker and weaker. Breathing heavily he felt another bit of weight on the lock as Harold wrapped his hands around it. Then Alejandro's, and then Geoff's. The four boys pushed on the lock and Todd wound up at the bottom of an involuntary dogpile. Bridgette and Alexis pushed the metal door open to reveal a small office full of control panels, blinking lights, harsh speakers, and surreal camera locations. Several chairs were thrown about as if there was a struggle that began with whatever force caused the island to malfunction.
The campers looked around the room, almost cautiously, as they investigated the wreckage. Several screens were broken on the ground. "Careful brahs," Geoff called out. "Gnarly scene."
All six campers stopped in front of a massive screen where the back of a red chair was obscuring the vision of the desk. Todd took a hold of the chair and spun it around. With something of a flourish he turned the chair around.
A brown face displaying a red smile seemed to look at the campers. Confused, Todd grabbed what was in the chair in both hands. "Mister Coconut?" Harold asked.
Todd rushed away as Harold, Alejandro, and Alexis rushed to the control panels. "I don't know what to do now," Todd said as his eyes were glued onto the screen. "I'm scared of pushing-"
A loud oboe beat blared through the office. "Sorry," Alexis backed away from the console.
Geoff picked up the chair Mister Coconut was sitting on and held it high above his head. He backed up urgently. The sudden movement caused Todd to throw Mister Coconut into an exhaust vent, and one of the camera feeds showed Mister Coconut rolling through the pipes and being shot out into the lake.
Bridgette quickly pulled Todd on top of a table in the office as they started to look at the other monitors. Alexis and Harold seemed to be hitting buttons randomly. Alejandro had ducked underneath the station while Geoff slammed his chair into the ground. "HEY!" Todd shouted. "Geoff, don't hit anything else! Those buttons just turned a bit of the island into snow!"
"Sorry," Geoff put the chair down. "What do you need me to do?"
"Back away!" Bridgette pulled Geoff away as Alejandro hit a wire, suddenly getting shocked and covered in soot. "That could have been you."
Harold and Alexis seemed to be undoing each other's work. "There has to be a…COUNTER!" Todd pointed out.
He leapt from the chair just as another power surge knocked Harold into Alexis, putting Harold's glasses onto Alexis. "Wow you're really blind," Alexis commented. "Is this blue light?"
"Yeah," Harold said. "Give them back please."
Alexis handed the glasses over to Harold as Todd seemed to find the controls that managed a counter on the screen. Todd grabbed a giant slider and groaned as he pulled it down. A large klaxxon permeated through the office as Todd finally slid the slider to the other position.
The alarms stopped. The campers took a moment to breathe as they all cheered. The scenes of chaos on the monitors finally slowed to a halt. Alexis looked over the monitors and control panel before finding some of the intact portions. She pressed several buttons to summon an elevator to their location. "Let's get in," Alexis mentioned.
At the top of the elevator shaft Chris, Chef, and Dakota waited. "Good job everyone. This was a weird challenge that affected a lot of the macro ecosystem. The beavers are safe," Chris specified. "Who knew a coconut could do a lot of damage?"
"Not buying it," Alejandro whispered.
"Seems weird," Todd mentioned.
"Mister coconut?" Alexis asked Bridgette.
"The truth of the matter is that it was really hard to find out who should have won immunity. Mister Coconut was the one who hijacked a lot of the island and the one who caused it to go haywire. So all six of you did great in undoing the work but-"
"GET ON WITH IT!" The campers shouted.
"Alright fine," Chris rolled his eyes. "Todd, you threw away Mister Coconut, and under his tuft of hair were the remote controls that were sending out signals throughout the island. Sending him into the ventilation shaft was necessary to deactivate all the sensors," Chris announced.
"That means you're immune, and you five aren't," Chef explained. "So, while we get the island back to business, you all can strategize."
"And Todd, you've earned some fried chicken tonight. A simple meal accompanied by a decent chunk of cider. As you're sixteen no champagne for you yet," Dakota handed Todd a glass.
Confessional, Todd
I mean… this doesn't make a threat, does it? I'm glad I won, thankfully I don't have any Coconut Allergy or anything.
Confessional, Bridgette
Okay, Todd's safe, I'm safe, and none of us have to deal with Coconut Allergies.
Confessional, Alejandro
Ultimately I'm not a fan of coconuts but at least I don't have a coconut allergy.
Confessional, Geoff
One time my friend had a coconut allergy and he ate a coconut on a dare. His parents were so mad at him and forced him to take showers in the front yard for a bit.
Confessional, Alexis
Is it even possible to have a coconut allergy?
Confessional, Harold
After this episode I at the very least have a coconut dislike if not a coconut allergy.
Confessional, Mr. Coconut
He stares at the camera. A smile is still on his face.
After Challenge
"Todd please seriously reconsider, we're already down one nerd, you can't afford to lose another," Harold pleaded to the mapmaker, down.
"Harold, my hands are tied, no one wants to save you. You beat all of us at the end, I can't do much for you," Todd replied.
"You don't think you and Bridgette can't vote against Alejandro? At least give me the tie breaker!"
"What's the point in pissing Alejandro off? You and I both know you can't beat him, or really most of us in a challenge unless it's something related to some weird fun fact."
"Gosh, whatever I guess," Harold replied, sighing in defeat letting his hands fall down to his side as they grazed the dirt below him. Todd walked off, his face conveying both an expression of sadness and annoyance.
Confessional, Todd
I want to save him. But that doesn't mean I can. I know his fate is sealed, as sad as it is
"I didn't take you to be the groveling type," Alejandro stated as he walked up to see Harold on his knees in defeat.
"I'm not, I just don't want to go home," Harold replied, standing up and dusting himself off as he stared into the Spaniard's eyes.
"I mean I of course do not blame you. But having seen you throw me under the bus to Todd, I cannot exactly save you anymore now can I?"
"What do you mean anymore?!"
"Well if you're after me, why would I use my resources to try and save someone against me? Surely you understand my position now?"
"I guess… but we could pull something against Bridgette or Geoff! They're a locked in pair."
"I'm not sure about that amigo," Alejandro replied, walking away from the nerd leaving him in despair.
Confessional, Alejandro
If anyone else other than Todd won immunity, he'd be safe right now… but luck was not on his side.
Confessional, Harold
This is so stupid. GOSH!
As Alejandro walked away from Harold, Alexis jogged up to him, a look of concern on her face. "Is he okay? He looks like he got hit by a bus." Alexis stated, looking off towards Harold in the background.
"He knows he's gone tonight… sucks but it's the way it is."
"Are you sure it's not worth it to try and at least force a tie? With Bridgette or Geoff?" Alexis suggested.
"We both know Harold isn't winning that, and it's not worth pissing off Geoff in order to maybe keep Harold."
"Is Geoff even that strongly with us? When it comes down to it I bet he would pick Bridgette over us."
"He would at least vote out Todd before us, which is important. And we have the idol as well."
"Still we could maybe try and do something to break up that group. It may look good for the jury too."
"If Harold manages to stay he won't be particularly loyal to us, whereas Geoff at least will be. And like I said we have the idol if we really need to force something."
"I guess…"
Confessional, Alexis
Alejandro has a tendency to view things a bit too short sided. He probably made his move on Harold a round too early. He's leaving Geoff and Bridgette around. I know I'm protected. But he's playing a bit too fast and loose.
The camera cuts to Bridgette and Geoff who were dipping their toes into the running stream water, both just staring off into the distance.
"Are we… like good now?" Geoff asked the surfer girl.
"I mean. I don't see why not, we've told each other everything ever since the merge vote. You've never given me a reason to distrust you," Bridgette mused.
"I feel the same way. I really want to go to the end with you. Like it'd be so cool for a power couple to make the final two."
"If you're all in then I am too. I trust you completely Geoff, and I really really like you, let's make that dream a reality!" Bridgette exclaimed, placing her hand in Geoff's.
The pair leaned in for a brief kiss, blushing and then looking away bashfully as the camera cut away.
Confessional, Geoff
I'm so glad we've made up. I don't want her to end up being the one that got away.
Confessional, Bridgette
After everything, it feels nice to finally be able to fully trust him again.
Elimination Ceremony
"Welcome back to yet another ceremony this season. As you all know by now, if you're voted out you must take this lovely cannon and launch yourself into the ocean where Dakota will graciously pick you up! Soon six will now become five. Good luck to you all, I'm sure you all want to reach the finale episode, if you survive this vote and the next one then you'll have done it. I have the votes all right here in this lovely box, if anyone has a Chris idol and would like to play it now would be the time to do so ..." Chris paused for a moment. "Alright I'll read the votes."

"FIFTH VOTE… And the fifteenth person voted out and the sixth member of our jury… Harold."
"Yeah I saw this coming," Harold said, standing up from his tree stump, reaching his arms up to stretch.
Alejandro walked over to the geek and extended his hand out for a handshake which Harold accepted. "Good game amigo. You put up a great fight," Alejandro exclaimed.
"You got me in the end, I gotta respect it," Harold replied, a small smile on his face.
Harold gave the other campers a nod of respect and walked over to the cannon. Using the mini step ladder he climbed in, pulled off his glasses and placed them in a little case inside of his back pocket. Chef lit the fuse and he went off screaming in the night, his hair flopping all over the place as he belly flopped into the water, causing the other campers to wince in pain as he sank into the water.
"It seems the final five is a united bunch or so we think, with Geoff clearly the swing vote between two pairs that have been together from the start of the game and him making his allegiance clear, it seems Alexis's idol may finally come into play now, especially as it is expiring next episode. With only two episodes left and our most competitive and even final five we've had, this is going to make for a great end game. What'll happen next? Find out on the next installment of TOTAL! BLENDED! PAHKITEW ISLAND!"
Dakota rowed out to where Harold was as the nerd was shown idly floating on his back, looking up at the stars. Mister coconut floated close to the Nerd as Dakota extended a rope. Wet and exhausted, Harold lumbered in, and Dakota soon carried Mister coconut as well.
Final Confessional, Mister coconut
Its plans for ruining the season foiled, Mister coconut stares at the camera for a prolonged moment. Unblinking and unchanging.
Final Confessional, Harold
Well it seems I finally got got. I gotta give it to Alejandro, he was right, I wanted to take a shot at him and he got me before I got him. I will say this season felt way more dynamic than the last two. Fluid alliances, no one having all of the information at any one time and blindsides a plenty. I wish I was a viewer at home watching this. I don't think Alejandro or Bridgette for that matter will make it to the end though, after Leshawna, no one will let the biggest player make it to the final two. Just look at Violet last season. But like a responsible juror I will be paying a lot of attention to final speeches and questioning.
Votes
Alejandro: Todd you can count yourself lucky.. Harold
Alexis: I thought Roman was the cockroach this season, but it was really you. Harold
Bridgette: In another timeline perhaps we both could've been good allies. Like a pair of Bass racing to Victory.. Harold
Geoff: Don't have much choice man.. Harold
Harold: It appears I've run out of chips to bet at this Poker Table. Good game. Alejandro
Todd: I'd much rather be voting a certain handsome devil, but I don't feel like voting in the wrong again this merge.. Harold
Scenes from the next episode
Chef looked at Chris and the campers at the start of the walkway. "I don't get paid enough for this," Chef mentioned as he broke into a run. The campers watched as Chef jumped off the platform, sank like a rock, and clambored back onto the hang glider.
"Hopefully you can do better than that," Chris mentioned.
"So we don't aim for the bushes?" Geoff asked a nearby Bridgette.
"Nope. But you might want to move your-"
Geoff didn't recoil his hand in time as Alejandro wheeled a cart over him. "LO SIENTO!"
The beavers all high fived each other as they reclined on a series of lawn chairs. They opened a tanning mirror as a shadow suddenly flew over them. Grumbling, one of the beavers hit a button.
A chandelier crashed in front of them, holding the five remaining campers as they screamed.
"So why do you need butter again?" Todd asked Alexis.
"I didn't, I just wanted to see what you were willing to give me. Now, can I have your jacket?"
Todd walked off.
"Todd?"
Todd put his hoodie up.
"Todd?"
Alexis held a welding tool in front of her hands as she started screaming. "CALIENTE! CALIENTE!"
In her frantic screaming and flailing she tripped into Geoff. Geoff barely had time to remove his hot hat before Todd splashed Geoff with a bucket. "Is this… water?"
"Yeah," Todd shook. "It's water."
Reviews
Nobody245: (Trygve) As much as I hate to say it Cody was never intended to win, for a while we did jostle around the merge a bit, Laine, Roman, Drew, and Cody all shifted spots a lot, but ultimately we fell on Cody being a good narrator who ultimately is eliminated due to threat level. We didn't feel for this season he was the best suited to be in the end game as sad as it is to say. I do hope you enjoy these final episodes though.
(Rj): Believe me Cody was my favorite character for a long time. The goal with Cody was giving him a moment of satisfaction and he did go out winning 2 immunities which is more than a lot of campers can say. As you predicted, unfortunately Harold is gone. Hope you enjoyed this set piece in particular.
LordGemini: (Trygve): As you predicted Harold did go next. Like Roman he just more or less ran his course on the season and kind of became another "easy" or obvious vote. Given how we wrote him as becoming the biggest threat to win, it was bound to happen, especially after his idol play. And yeah obviously Cody is going by the 6th vote given Bridgette and Alexis were going to vote together, it's tough to hide that, unless I used a confessional to imply one of them would vote differently. Also as far as the original challenges go, generally speaking we only add a handful, and also generally speaking there isn't that many water or balance or endurance challenges in actual TD so it makes them easier to add in since they'd naturally give variety to the already in place challenges.
(RJ): The votes in Blended are way more complicated than in canon so unfortunately it was Harold's time to go so that's where your hunch failed. I will say that you do have an intriguing read on Bridgette and Alexis. I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge and we see the point about balance and water so we're going to balance the original challenges very soon.
SuperSonicHeroes: (Trygve) So about Harold… yeah he'd have had to win out, or at least win this immunity in order for him to advance to the Finale more or less, and it just wasn't in the cards for him. I am glad you've been enjoying this season though, this end game is definitely the strongest as far as winning chances that we have had I think at least.
(Rj): Looks like the idol didn't come into play this time around. And Iunderstand what you mean with Cody not being a first choice. Unfortunately Harold didn't really hold a candle to the bigger unit. Though both of your next two options are still left.
