I just stared as I watched the beautiful imagery flowing across my screen. After finishing the masquerade of the guilty I had rushed to Furinas story quest and even as I saw her obtain a vision I still felt… unsatisfied.
While I could never say that I would know her pain I did know some of what Furina would feel as I was somewhat like her, for years having to putt on masks for different people not even showing my family my true self out of fear.
I sighed I knew I was projecting, I knew Furina was totally fictional, however as I leaned back on my chair I couldn't help but think about what I had seen the revelations and surprises, and mostly Furina's story the differences seen in her personality before her "ascension" and after she stepped down, and also… those unknowing tears she shed and the dawning realization that she was already broken,
I sighed once more as I looked to the celling If you become human, you can reveal your secret to no-one. You will face suffering and loneliness… Is this still what you want?
"I wish that somewhere, somehow, someone was able to be with her, to protect her and too stave off the loneliness she endured for so long and ultimately remind her that no matter what she is loved"
As my words ended I noticed that my monitor which had gone dim due to sleep mode suddenly flashed and a voice whose words seemed to echo within me spoke out
"Request Granted"
And then light consumed my sight.

The entity watched as the new test subjecterr.. loved user was dematerialized, The entity watching this chuckled things were going quite smoothly much better than his fellows first attempt in doing this soon hopefully he would have his New Life Systemtm up and running, but first the entity glanced at the mass of information that used to be a human waiting in limbo. He would proceed with the trial run there was no point after all in actualizing a fully fledged system if the transmission process didn't work but before sending the guy off to possible death he should at least fulfil the wish.

The entity paused and thought for a moment as he pondered how to fulfill the requests of his test subject
"In order to fulfil users request to help Furina user will be sent to Teyvat shortly before Furina's 'birth' to fulfill users wish for a companion who would not only be able to stay with her but also protect her, user shall be reborn as an elemental dragon to fulfil the last part of the users request users draconic obsession is set to Furina."
As he was speaking the entity's words changed and molded the bundle of life and information that was his test subject before him and as the last words were spoken the entity grabbed hold of the now quite changed test subject and sent him off to Teyvat and to the nation of hydro… or at least the area around it.

AN: If you can't tell I felt compelled to write this after binging the archon quests and then immediately finishing Furina's story quest afterwards. for those of you who know about my other fick I regret to inform you that Reborn is taking a indefinite hiatus as I was a little to ambitious in trying for a litrpg, so unfortunately I need to put it on hold until I get more experience or some advice with authors experienced with that genre.
