Chapter 1

In the year 2020, Lord Harry James Potter, the man who lived, looked at his photo album. Remembering all the deaths that shouldn't have happened in the second wizard war. Remembering Remus & Tonks whose children grew up without them. Remembering Fred, whose twin is just a broken soul, remembering Colin who was just young. Remembering everyone who died to protect him.

If there was a second chance I could change the future and make sure that there were no deaths, I would change it, Harry thought as he looked down at his parent's wedding album.

What if there is a way to change the future without time traveling? Harry thought, getting up from his seat to his bookshelf where many texts from the Potters' vault lived.

Grabbing the old-looking book, he flipped it open and found the spell that he was looking for.

Harry smiled. This was the spell but what year should he send his letter to? Before 4th year or the summer after it? Thinking about the pros and cons of each choice, he smiles. Yes, he will be sad that he can't save Cedric but in order that no one else dies, he will do this.

Writing a quick letter to his younger self, detailing what he needs to do to destroy Voldemort and that you should trust him.

Whispering the spell, Harry watches with a smile as the letter vanishes. With a sense of hope, Harry turned around and walked out of the study.

1st July, 1995

Young Harry Potter was jolted awake after another nightmare of the third task and of Cedric's death. The repeated nightmare was continuous. No one to turn to as none of his friends have written to him.

Climbing out of his bed, Harry sat staring at the wall. His glasses were left on the bedside table. Harry sighed and reached for his glasses, putting them on he noticed a letter on his table.

Quickly as he can, snatches the letter up, hoping it is one of his friends or his godfather, informing him of what is happening in the Wizarding world. Reading the name of the envelope, he noticed it was addressed to Young Harry Potter.

Confused, Harry turned the envelope over and saw a crest that he did not recognize. With that, Harry becomes suspicious about the letter. Was it from Voldemort? A death eater?

But Voldemort wouldn't know where he is. So who was it from? Harry thought before making his way to open the letter.

'Dear young Harry,

I know that this will be impossible to believe but TRUST Me okay? I am writing this letter from the future. Before thinking that I am breaking the timeline, I know the risks and Harry this is important. I NEED YOU TO STOP THE SECOND WIZARDING WAR FROM STARTING.

In order to do that I need you to gain allies of every single creature. Werewolves, vampires, and giants. This will help you as they will join Tom's side in the war.

Secondly, you need to find 5 Horcruxs, they are a branch of forbidden magic. The darkest of the dark. They are part of Tom's soul. There is a list of what items containing his soul but don't be scared about the last one.

Third, there is a prophecy about you and Tom which goes like this:

The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."

This was made to Albus Dumbledore by Sybill Trelawney. This prophecy was about two boys, You and Neville. BE FRIENDS WITH NEVILLE. He will assist you.

Finally, DO NOT STEAL FROM GRINGOTTS.

On the 25th of July, Dementors will attack you and Dudley, IF YOU MUST PROTECT YOURSELF. Fudge the ministry. You will have a trial. USE YOUR MEMORIES TO SHOW THEM WHAT REALLY HAPPENED!

Dumbledore will have a group of people to pick you up from the Dursleys on your birthday. ASK THEM FOR THEIR IDENTITY!

Harry, I do hope that with this knowledge you will save a lot of people that we care about. No more lives will be taken.

Harry stared at the letter in shock. The reason that Voldemort destroyed his family was because of Prophecy. AND DUMBLEDORE KNEW.

Taking a deep breath, Harry made the decision and pulled out the list of what the Horcrux was. And was in shock at the last item. He was a Horcrux. He had a piece of tom soul in his body.

With this determination, Harry made his mission to destroy Tom before the year was out.
