Author's Note: This new story was one that was brainstormed by myself and Lord Zeppelin. With the upcoming She-Hulk series coming to Disney Plus, I thought I might start a She-Hulk fanfic. It was tough, so I consulted my friend for an idea. Kim Possible seemed like the best one, so I did this.
Now, this one is a bit different from most of my other superhero crossover fanfics. Normally, I'd start the fic with a story about how the hero got their powers. But when I tried making a story how Jennifer Walters became She-Hulk, I kept running into plot holes that made me hesitant on continuing. So instead, I'm just going to start this after She-Hulk gets her powers and insinuate how it happened.
I worked weeks on this one chapter alone, so I hope you all like it. Any and all comments are welcome.
"This is Bugle News! This is J. Jonah Jameson giving you the news of an impending disaster is on the run in Middleton! And no. It's not Spider-Man… this time. The great threat here is a monster that's actually posing as a student in Middleton High! Just a few weeks ago, we not only learned that the rampaging monster known as the Hulk doesn't just have a cousin, but they also share powers! That's right! There's a second green, strong, rampaging beast! Oh, sure, she says she is under control and that she's backed by the teen spy, Kim Possible, but who's going to believe a monster like her? Not this reporter, I'll tell you that much! Sooner or later, they'll see this 'She-Hulk' in her true colors! You know, other than green."
The gym students of Middleton High School were left exhausted by the time gym glass was about to end. The only person who wasn't tired was Jennifer Walters, the She-Hulk. She may be a teenager, but she's tall enough to match the height of the average adult. Not only that, but she had visible muscles in her arms and legs. They were even seen in the purple-and-white shirt she wore above her blue jeans. The most noticeable thing about her was her green skin and her dark-green hair.
When the bell rang, all the students were ready to leave. Jen was about to leave too, but the gym coach stopped her.
"Walters, a word."
Jen shrugged before walking up to him. "What's up, Mr. B?"
"Now, Walters, I understand that you're stronger than the average person," Barkin said, "But perhaps you could afford to tone it down some."
"What do you mean?" Jen asked.
"I mean, you kinda left the other students in the dust, and not in a good way." Barkin said. "They're all exhausted themselves trying to keep up with you. So maybe you can throw them a bone and ease up already?"
"Ease up?" Jen asked. "Mr. B, if you got it, you flaunt it. You know I'm a model student."
"I know. That's why the principal let you stay here as a student in spite of your… condition."
"You mean miracle. Anyway, why wouldn't I do my best here?"
"Walters, I'm already guaranteeing you an A in gym class. You can do nothing for the rest of high school, and it won't matter. But if you slow down and let some of the students catch up by a bit, it might help their self-esteem. And not to disrespect you or anything, but you could stand to humble yourself a bit. You're a bit too… complacent."
"Complacent? Sounds like someone's been playing Words With Friends."
"My point is, if you build yourself too high up, it's going to hurt a lot when you fall. All right. Dismissed."
Jen turned back with a raised eyebrow. She was curious about what her teacher said, so when her free period started, she went looking for her friends, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable.
After meeting up with her friends in the hallway, Jen told them about the conversation between her and Mr. Barkin.
"And he was telling me that I was being complacent. Me. Complacent."
"Well, you kinda are, Jen." The red-headed cheerleader said.
"Um, what does complacent mean?" Ron asked.
"It means she's getting overconfident in herself." Kim said.
"Oh. I get it." Ron said.
"Ron, do you think I'm overconfident?" Jen asked.
"Mmm… Kinda." Ron answered.
"Ouch." Jen said. "What about you, Rufus?"
Ron's pet naked mole rat popped out of his pocket and jittered at the green amazon. He nodded his head.
"Look, Jen," Kim said, "It is cool that you're super strong now thanks to your cousin, but you never know what might happen. Even the best of us have our quirks. Take me for example."
"You?" Jen asked. "Kim, you're a kick-butt cheerleading super-spy who's self-employed. International clients from across the world hire you through your service website. What's your issue?"
"Josh Mankey." Kim sighed. "The school spirit dance is coming up, but when I tried asking him out, I couldn't even form a sentence."
"Speaking of," Ron said confidently, "Jen, how would you like to be my date to the dance?"
"That's sweet, Ron," Jen said, "But I'm already going with someone?"
"Really?" Kim asked. "Who?"
"Brick Flag."
Both Kim and Ron showed surprised and stunned faces.
"Hold up." Ron said. "Brick Flag? The football star and Bonnie's on-and-off boyfriend?"
"Right now, they're at the off part." Jen said.
"How'd you ask him to the dance?" Kim asked.
"I didn't. He asked me."
"He did?" Kim and Ron asked at once.
"Well, yeah. I mean, despite my green skin, I'm still tall, strong, and beautiful. I got like twenty other guys asking me to the dance, but I chose Brick. Plus, it would really get on Bonnie's nerves. So don't worry about Josh, Kim. I'm sure you'll go with him. And Ron… Just try your best. That's all that matters."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ron asked.
Before Jen could answer, a ding was heard on Kim's blue handheld device, the Kimmunicator. She answered the call from another friend of hers, a computer guy named Wade.
"Hey, Wade. What up?"
"Meet me at your locker." Wade said.
Kim, Ron, and Jen grouped up at Kim's locker. She opened it revealing a big computer screen that was printing out a list. Wade's face appeared on the screen.
"You would not believe how many hits we're getting on the site." Wade said. "Everyone wants your help."
Ron picked up the printed list and looked over it. "Mrs. Gillmore needs someone to feed her cats. For a week."
"Ugh!" Kim groaned in disgust. "Seven days. Eight cats."
"And one litter box." Jen said. "And here, everyone's been telling me I'm in over my head while your 'can-do-anything' tagline is bringing in the most unpleasant jobs."
"Hey, look at this one. It's long distance." Ron said. "Tokyo. I love the French."
"That's Japanese, Ron." Jen corrected. "But why Japan?"
"That one's an emergency." Wade said. "I'll stream the security cam."
The screen then changed into a video of a large factory surrounded by the police. Suddenly, a figure swung in quickly taking out the camera watching with a punch.
"Whoa! Rewind and freeze, Wade." Kim said.
The video played back to half a second earlier to get a good look at the attacker, a blue-skinned man with dark-blue gloves, black boots, black gloves, and black hair tied into a ponytail.
"Dr. Drakken." Kim recognized.
"Our archenemy." Ron said. "Well, technically, KP, he's your archenemy. I don't think he even knows my name."
"That goof is already back in action?" Jen asked. "Guess he's still aching for a gamma beatdown."
"All right." Kim said. "Let's jet."
"Oh, yeah!" Ron cheered. "Going to Tokyo on a school night. How are we gonna get there?"
"I'll phone a friend."
Kim called in a favor from an old client of hers. She took the three of them on a ride on her private jet.
"Thanks for the lift, Britina." Kim thanked.
"Kim, duh." The pop star said. "It's the least I can do after you saved my Chicago show."
"The backstage fire was no big."
"For you, maybe."
"Well, I'm not complaining." Jen said. She exited the bathroom wearing a purple and white jumpsuit. "Gotta thank Wade for making this super-elastic new outfit. Keeps my clothes from ripping in the middle of a fight. Though, against Drakken, it's hardly that much of a fight."
"So I see you got a new teammate." Britina said.
"Yep. Name's Jennifer Walters. But you can call me She-Hulk."
"Like that angry monster guy on the news?"
"Yeah. He's my cousin."
"So, just gonna ask this. What's the story behind all this?" Britina asked.
"You mean me?" She-Hulk asked. "Well, ironically, the guy behind what happened to me is the same guy we're after right now. Dr. Drakken."
"Yeah. It was quite a story." Ron said. "See, Drakken was trying to kidnap Bruce Banner, the Hulk's alter ego, to copy his powers and apply it to his soldiers. But he slipped up and kidnapped Jen instead."
"Dr. Banner came to me and Ron and we went on a rescue mission." Kim said. "Though, there was an accident and Jen got really hurt."
Rufus imitated a cute little explosion and fell backwards feigning a death scene.
"I needed a blood transfusion to save my life," She-Hulk said, "And Bruce was the only guy with a matching blood type. But when his radiated blood mixed with my own… Bam! Suddenly, the sensational She-Hulk is born. Not only is my strength magnified, but I also get to keep my intelligence, something my cousin couldn't. Ever since then, I've been cruising with Kim and Ron on their missions acting as their muscle."
"Gosh." Britina said. "Was it any trouble to adjust?"
"Not that much." She-Hulk said. "Less than a minute after getting my strength, I already plowed through Drakken's men like paper."
"Don't let that get to your head." Kim said. "Don't forget that Drakken is an evil genius. He's bound to have some plan for you if he sees you coming."
"You let me not worry about that, Kim." She-Hulk said earning an eye-roll from the redhead.
Upon arriving in Tokyo, Kim, Ron, and She-Hulk met up with two people in front of the taken factory. Both were Japanese. One was a short, middle-aged man and the other was a tall, beautiful woman.
"Thank you for coming." The woman said. "I am Yoshiko, translator for Nakasumi-san."
Ron licked his thumb before brushing it against his hair. He approached Yoshiko boldly.
"You know, I'm looking for a lucky someone to go to a dance with me."
Yoshiko turned to Nakasumi and spoke to him in Japanese. He responded in the same language which she told Ron about.
"Er, Nakasumi-san says he's very flattered, but given the current crisis, he feels it'd be inappropriate to go to the dance."
She-Hulk snickered while Ron stammered. "No, no! I mean…"
"Easy there, Casanova." She-Hulk said. "You heard the man. No means no."
"So what's the sitch?" Kim asked.
"They have taken over our entire factory. The workers are trapped inside."
"How many?" Kim asked.
"Two."
"Hundred?" Ron asked.
"No. Just two. This is the most automated factory in the world."
"I see." She-Hulk said. "Question. Do you have insurance on the place?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Well, then I can go ham on these chumps." She-Hulk said pounding his fists together.
"Remember, Jen, you're part of this team." Kim said. "We need to be careful about this. If we mess up, we could risk the employees' lives."
She-Hulk sighed. "Fine. We'll do it your way."
She-Hulk needed only to leap to make it to the factory's rooftop from its side. Both Kim and Ron needed a grappling hook. Although, when Ron shot his hook, his pants flew off his waist revealing his underwear.
"Ron, stop playing around!" Kim said.
"Okay. I'm going." Ron said firing another grappling hook. But when he shot it, his shirt was blown off. "Oh, are you kidding me?"
"Very funny." Kim said.
"The third time's the charm." Ron said.
"I hope so." She-Hulk said. "All you have now is your underwear, so you better not miss."
Thankfully, Ron made it to the roof. After putting his clothes back on, he joined Kim and She-Hulk looking through the skylight window. Down below, they saw Dr. Drakken pacing around the factory floor.
"What's Drakken doing in a video game factory?" Kim asked.
"Duh." Ron said. "Do you know what this factory makes?"
"Video games?"
"The Z-Boy. Only the fastest graphics system ever."
She-Hulk shrugged. "So it's like what Kim said. Video games."
"You don't understand." Ron said. "It's not even coming out back home until Christmas. It's the must-have gift of the holiday season." That's when he dropped his jaw and gasped. "Drakken's gonna steal Christmas!"
"Ron, I know my arch foe." Kim said. "Drakken wants to take over the world."
"He wants to steal Christmas." Ron argued.
"Take over the world."
"Jen, I know you'll back me up." Ron said. "Can you please tell KP that Drakken's trying to steal Christmas?"
"Actually, I'm staying out of it." She-Hulk said. "This little bickering is actually more entertaining than the mission."
"Let's just go." Kim said opening the window. "Me and Ron will head on down and free the hostages. Jen, you be the distraction. In other words… smash."
She-Hulk gave a proud smirk. "Now, that's the must-have gift of the holiday season."
"Konnichiwa! Konnichiwa! Konnichiwa!"
"Cartoons make my eyes itch!" Drakken complained hearing the factory mascot repeat the same line over and over on the screens. He furiously turned to the tied up employees. "Can't you shut it off?"
The hostages shook their heads. Furious, Drakken turned to his black-and-red henchmen and kept shoving them. "Put some grease elbow into it!"
"Dr. Drakken?"
"AAAHHH!" Drakken gasped turning around seeing his sidekick behind him. It was a pale woman with dark hair. She had a full-body suit of green and black. "Shego! Never sneak up on me like that."
"I wasn't sneaking."
"Ninjas make more noise than you, Shego. Quit it. Now, where's our newest recruit?"
"On standby." Shego said. "Just waiting for…"
BOOM!
Both Drakken and Shego looked on over to see the roof shatter. She-Hulk plummeted from above and touched to the ground in a superhero landing. She stood up proudly looking at the villains.
"Dr. Drakken. Shego. Hope I'm not late to the party."
"The She-Hulk!" Drakken gasped.
"The gamma princess who stole my colors! And if she's here, then so are Kim Possible and her dopey sidekick." Shego said.
"I can never remember his name." Drakken said.
"It doesn't matter." She-Hulk said. "You won't even remember your own name after I give you the mother of all concussions. That is, unless you turn yourselves in now."
While She-Hulk was threatening the villain, Kim and Ron sneaked on over to the tied-up employees. Rufus did his part and nibbled on the knot cutting it with his buck teeth. Back to Drakken, he glanced over behind him and smiled at what he saw. He turned back to She-Hulk without an ounce of fear on his face.
"How about no?" Drakken asked. "You see, She-Hulk, you made a big mistake thinking I wouldn't come prepared. I've got a surprise for you. An ace up my sleeve. A final trick…"
"I get it." She-Hulk said.
Drakken chuckled. "No. I don't think you do, but you will. And so will Kim Possible and her sidekick… and your little rat too!"
Having enough of this, She-Hulk jumped forward ready to attack the villains. But at the last second, both Drakken and Shego moved in opposite directions making way for a third villain. She-Hulk didn't see it coming until she was punched all the way across the room. After crashing into a large generator, she groaned and looked on up at her attacker.
A woman stood over She-Hulk with strawberry blond hair. Like She-Hulk, this woman was also tall and muscular. She wore a purple mask and a purple outfit with short spikes coming from her arms. She stepped forward to She-Hulk with her purple boots stomping on the ground.
"What the…" She-Hulk asked in surprise.
"Where are my manners?" Drakken asked as he presented the woman who actually knocked the gamma hero down. "She-Hulk, meet Titania, the latest addition to Team Drakken!"
She-Hulk returned to her feet and brushed the debris off of her skin. "I don't care who you got on your payroll, Drakken. This girl ain't gonna make a difference."
Titania snickered cracking her knuckles. "I'll take a piece of that action. But first, I'll take a piece of you."
She-Hulk scowled before throwing herself toward Titania, who surprised her with a double ax-handle making her crash to the ground. She then grabbed She-Hulk's arm and spun her around before throwing her across the factory crashing through a few more machines.
"Hey, Titania, careful!" Drakken shouted. "I need the assembly line in one piece!"
"Sorry, doc, but you hired me to kick green butt." Titania said. "Nothing in my contract said I had to be delicate."
"I'm serious!" Drakken said. "Can't you just subdue her and finish her off where there'll be something less important?"
"I'm actually with Drakken on this one." Shego said. "Trust me. These guys always seem to find us. You'll get to finish this soon.
Titania groaned. "Fine." She leaped over to where She-Hulk was barely recovering and picked up a nearby steel beam. She easily bent it to a curve and pressed it against She-Hulk pinning her to the wall.
Titania crossed her arms and gave a condescending snicker. "Face it, greenie. There's only room for one strongest woman, and it ain't you." She-Hulk growled angrily at that taunt.
"Jen!" Kim cried out as she and Ron revealed themselves.
"It's Kim Possible!" Shego said.
"So, Kim Possible," Drakken said, "You think you can thwart my plan!"
"Wait! Don't stop to tell her the plan."
"I'll handle this, Shego."
"Yeah. All I know is that every time you stop to blab about your plans, she wins."
"Oh, right." Drakken didn't hesitate to pulled out a handheld button. With one push, several hooks shot down from the ceiling. The goons hooked them up with the ground and the sound of helicopter blades echoed from outside.
Suddenly, the entire ground began to shift. It was pried off and every last machine was carried through the roof. No one could stop the bad guys get carried away with the entire assembly line. In the end, there was nothing left but a hollow factory that the heroes were inside.
"Quick! Where's our helicopter?" Ron asked.
"We don't have one." Kim answered.
"Oh, too bad."
She-Hulk growled clutching her fists. Her mind became focused on her upcoming rematch.
The following morning, Jen Walters was pumping iron at the breakfast table. Her dad walked in as she was lifting a dumbbell with one hand and eating cereal with the other.
"Morning, sweetie." Mr. Walters said. "Since when do you lift weights? You don't even need to anymore."
"Tell that to last night." Jen said. "Dr. Drakken got a new henchgirl, one who got a lucky shot at me. I gotta be ready for her next time."
"Ah. There's the old competitive spirit." Mr. Walters said. "Careful, Jenny. You don't want to be reckless."
Jen groaned. "Why does everything think I'm gonna be reckless?"
Mr. Walters chuckled. "I see. Well, either way, you should probably take it easy."
"Why?" Jen said tossing her dumbbell back across the room. "I'm strong enough to let loose, don't you think?"
"Well, some people might say you're too strong to let loose." Mr. Walters said. "It's why your cousin is getting hunted all the time. You're lucky the military doesn't consider you a threat yet since you seem more level-headed than the original Hulk, but if you don't look before you leap, you're going to break something you can't fix."
"Thanks for the words of wisdom, Dad." Jen said.
After a full day of school, Jen met up with Kim and Ron at the hallway. Jen noticed the sad look on Kim's face.
"Still no luck with Josh?" Jen asked.
"No. I just keep freezing up around him." Kim said.
"And I still don't have a date to the dance." Ron said. "I even asked everyone on Kim's cheer squad."
"Even Bonnie?" Jen chuckled.
"At this point, I'll take any girl." Ron said.
At that point, the Kimmunicator played its ringtone. Kim picked it out of her pocket and answered. "What's up, Wade?"
"I got a lead on the Nakasumi case." Wade said. "I managed to track Drakken to the Alps."
"Great." Jen said. "Then I can get some payback."
Thanks to Kim's connections, she and her friends got a ride all the way across the snowy planes of the Alps. During the ride, Rufus shivered. Ron had to wrap a scarf around him.
"I tell you. Naked and cold don't mix." Ron said.
"Neither does the cold and She-Hulks." She-Hulk said. "I'm a California girl. My body's more used to the tropics." She then borrowed the Kimmunicator to talk to Wade. "Hey, Wade. Any news on Drakken's new lackey?"
"Not a lot." Wade said. He popped up a picture of Titania who was shown to be holding a tank upside down. "Her real name's Mary MacPherran. Some time ago, she was subject to a superhuman experiment which gave her super strength. Since then, she's been muscle for hire."
"And Drakken's her latest client." She-Hulk surmised. "Well, she's gonna be sorry she messed with me."
"Jen, I get you want to beat her," Kim said, "But remember not to compromise the mission. Right now, we've got the element of surprise on our side. Let's not waste it."
She-Hulk sighed. "Kill the mood, why don't you."
That's when their transport stopped. The kids walked out with snowboards. Before anything, Kim stopped to thank the driver.
"Thanks for the lift, Heinrich."
"Oh, Kim, you silly. It was the least I could do after you saved my village from that avalanche last year."
"No big."
"So Heinrich," Ron said, "Do you have any teenage daughters who'd like to go to an American school dance."
"Nein!" Heinrich replied harshly.
"Nine? One's plenty… or maybe two."
"Nein means no!" With that remark, Heinrich slammed the door in front of Ron and drove off.
"Hey, I helped with that avalanche!" Ron argued.
"You started it." Kim said before getting on her snowboard and gliding down the side of the mountain. She-Hulk followed. Ron, on the other hand, had a hard time even moving without tripping.
As they reached the base of the hill, Kim and She-Hulk looked outward to a mechanical structure in the distance across a wide, white field of snow.
"Can we smash in now?" She-Hulk asked.
"No." Kim said pulling out her Kimmunicator. "Talk to me, Wade."
"This is unquestionably Drakken's latest lair. I've hacked into the security system, but it's tight. Can't shut down the sensor beams, but I could use the frequency so you can see them."
"Please and thank you."
After a bit of typing, the snowy field between them and the lair were no longer empty. From one angle to another, the land was nearly covered with red beams shooting across.
"Okay, listen. We have to be careful." Kim said. "Don't touch the red beams."
She-Hulk looked over her shoulder. "Well, how come Ron doesn't get to be careful?"
"What?"
Suddenly, Ron Stoppable flew right into the field with the red beams. He had no control over her snowboarding and kept on swishing left and right to avoid falling. Kim jumped on down to do her own snowboarding. For her, it was no trouble at all. As for She-Hulk, she needed no snowboard. She just jumped over until she landed on an area without any lasers.
After a few minutes, everyone stopped. Kim and She-Hulk had more controlled landings, but Ron tripped at the end. He slid toward one of the red beams and everyone feared for the worst. Thankfully, Ron managed to stop just inches away from it relieving everyone. The same couldn't be said for Rufus, who slipped out of Ron's pocket and actually hit the beam.
"Uh, oh." Rufus chittered.
Suddenly, a blaring alarm echoed across the mountains. The three kids were about to escape when three walls blocked their path. They were immediately caught and brought into the lair.
"I have never been captured that fast!" Kim complained while she, She-Hulk, and Ron were all surrounded by a swarm of Drakken goons with electric batons. "Thanks for the embarrassment, Ron."
"Embarrassment, perhaps," Ron said, "But it did get us into the bad guy's lair."
The lair was made up of stolen assembly machines, and in the rafters above, Shego watched from above.
"Don't mind me. I just like to watch."
Kim didn't waste any time. She just jumped on the first goon she could so she could jump on up to the rafters to confront her rival. The two of them exchanged blows at each other striking with martial arts attacks. Shego's were more deadly with her glowing hands, so Kim was extra careful. At the meantime, She-Hulk and Ron were still surrounded by the goons.
"Okay, punks." She-Hulk said. "Tell me where Titania is, and I promise, your Kos will be quick."
"Yeah, right." One goon laughed. "You and what army?"
"This army." She-Hulk said raising her arm to flex her bicep. She then swung it to sent the laughing guard across the room. "And this one too." She punched another goon with her other arm.
While She-Hulk was dealing her her goons, Ron was still surrounded by more. He panicked for a bit before Kim tossed him a small container. He showed it off to the henchmen. "Back off, punks! I'm packing!"
One goon took a close look at what Ron was holding. "Lip gloss."
"Uh…" Ron took a second to see what he was holding. "Yeah. Lip gloss."
The henchmen all laughed. Kim paused her fight with Shego to shout out to Ron. "Ron, open it and hold your breath!"
Ron took a deep breath before opening the container in his hand. He could then see the green line coming from it as it made impact with the guards' noses. They took a whiff of it before feinting. Ron put the cap back on finally able to breathe.
"What is this stuff?"
"It's Wade's new stink formula!" Kim said kicking Shego behind for some distance. "Now quick, lip gloss me!"
Ron threw the container back to her rival, who held in her breath and opened it right in front of Shego. Like the other henchmen, she smelt it and quickly feinted. After putting the cap back on, Kim landed back on the ground next to Ron. At the same time, She-Hulk finished the last goon.
"Good work, team." She-Hulk said.
"Thanks. Now where's…"
"Ah, look who it is." Drakken said revealing himself. He sat in an industrial lift. "My teenaged foe, the gamma girl, and the buffoon."
"Well, this 'buffoon' knows your secret plan." Ron said. "You wanna steal Christmas!"
"Not even close." Drakken responded.
"So this is another take-over-the-world scheme." Kim said.
"Exactly." Drakken said. With a flip of his switch, all the machines around him were being carried toward him. They assembled around him as he gave his monologue. "You see, I couldn't care less about the product that stupid factory was making. I just wanted the advanced assembly line. Now watch as I repurpose these machines to form… THE ULTIMATE ROBOT WARRIOR!"
Drakken was then seated at the center of a large, red robot made of the machines stolen. At the front of the robot was a large screen with the cartoon character, Z-Boy, on it saying "Konichiwa". Drakken then demonstrated the robot's strength by lifting a tank easily and snapping it in two.
"That would be so cool if it wasn't trying to kill us." Ron commented.
She-Hulk scoffed. "Big deal. I can puncture a hole in that thing no problem."
"Oh, I know you can." Drakken said. "That's what she's for."
He pointed to the side and She-Hulk followed. Though, she was too late as she was tackled away from the robot by Titania. They both crashed through the remaining machines. She-Hulk returned to her feet and faced her attacker.
"That's twice I got the drop on you, greenie." Titania taunted. "Now, what are you going to do?"
"Jen, Ron and I will handle Drakken!" Kim cried out. "You deal with Titania!"
"No complaints here." She-Hulk said cracking her knuckles. While Kim and Ron dealt with their villain, She-Hulk fought against hers.
She-Hulk and Titania first exchanged blows at the same time, but the former got the upper hand when she grabbed Titania's arm and threw her across the lair. She charged back at her, and Titania shot her knee into her gut before sending her down with a downward punch. After She-Hulk crashed to the ground, Titania pulled her back up and put her in a headlock. She smiled relishing in the advantage she had.
While the two strong women wrestled, Kim and Ron took cover from Drakken's lasers that shot from the robot's claws. Kim pulled out her Kimmunicator.
"Wade, we're dealing with a giant robot warrior."
"Which used to be a robot assembly line." Wade said. "According to these schematics, Nakasumi installed an override module. If you can hook me up, I can override Drakken's control."
Kim and Ron continued to evade Drakken's blasts while looking for the module that Wade talked about.
Back to She-Hulk and Titania, the former managed to elbow the villain in the gut making her let go. She then turned around to deliver a punch so hard, it sent Titania flying. Titania jumped back and the two strong woman met with a series of punches. They both blocked and countered each one until She-Hulk jumped up and landed a dropkick which caught Titania by surprise. As she was knocked down, She-Hulk topped it off with a devastating punch to sink her further down to the ground. After the impact, Titania stopped moving. Feeling the relief of victory, She-Hulk lifted Titania up and carried her over her shoulders.
Back at the fight, Ron got captured by the robot and Kim managed to hook her Kimmunicator up to the override module. That was when Drakken aimed a laser blast right at her point blank.
"You should have stayed at babysitting!" Drakken said. "What made you think an ordinary teenager could possibly defeat me?"
Suddenly, the laser blast was canceled. The answer to that came on the screen when Wade appeared on it. "Score!" he yelled out indicating that he was successful in his hack. With him in control, it didn't take long before Drakken was caught in the same trap he held Ron in.
"So the day is saved?" She-Hulk asked as she approached the robot with Titania hung over her shoulders.
"That's right." Kim confirmed.
"THINK AGAIN!" yelled out a voice. Shego appeared from out of nowhere throwing a shock baton at the Kimmunicator. Wade's only link to the robot's override was blasted off and he lost control. The robot was now up for grabs, which meant it didn't take long for Kim and Shego to fight in the robot's control panel.
Before She-Hulk could join in, Titania opened her eyes and surprised her by wrapping her arm around her neck. The two strong women fell to the ground and grappled for control. The two then separated and returned to their feet. Both girls already looked exhausted and frustrated.
"That's it." Titania huffed. "Now, I'm angry."
"So am I." She-Hulk returned. "And like my cousin, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
She-Hulk and Titania gripped each other's hands and pushed against each other. Each of them gritted their teeth trying to bring the other to her knees.
"Dang, this chick is strong." She-Hulk thought to herself. "Come on, Jen. She may be as strong as you, but there's no way she's smarter. How can I…" Suddenly, an idea flashed in her head. She broke the grip with Titania's hands and jumped on up to the top of the nearest platform, which was right next to the giant robot where Kim and Shego were fighting. She then cried out, "Kim, get out now!"
Kim listened to her friend and slipped out of the control center. At the same time, She-Hulk was confronted by Titania who joined her on the same platform.
"It's time for a green stain on the pavement!" Titania shouted.
"Then come on over," She-Hulk taunted, "That is, if you're woman enough to even try!"
"I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S WOMAN ENOUGH!" Titania yelled before rushing toward her rival at breakneck speed.
Suddenly, She-Hulk sidestepped completely dodging Titania's attack. Titania flew right off the platform and rocketed toward the giant robot that Drakken built. Realizing what was going on, Titania gasped right before she punctured right through the robot sending it down along with Dr. Drakken and Shego.
After joining up with Kim and Ron, She-Hulk searched the rubble of the robot warrior to find Titania struggling to return to her feet with no avail. She-Hulk helped her up by lifting her by her shoulder.
"Let that be a lesson to you." She-Hulk said. "If you don't look before you leap, you're going to break something you can't fix."
"You… You…" Titania struggled to yell. She gripped her fist, but she was too exhausted to throw it.
"Face it, Titania. There's only room for one strongest woman, and it ain't you." With that remark, She-Hulk proceeded to uppercut Titania so hard, she lost consciousness for real as she landed at the platform where Drakken and Shego hung from.
Drakken stammered and ranted. "You think you're all that… but you're not!"
The following day, Jen, Ron, and Kim walked in the school hallway. Ron noticed something about Jen. "Well, someone's in a good mood."
"Well, after that whole Titania thing, I figured it was time to take a step back for the sake of others. So at gym class, I'll cut the others some slack." Jen said before noticing Kim's glum face. "Why so grim, Kim?"
"KP, what's the deal?" Ron asked. "Drakken's in jail and Christmas is saved."
"First of all, Drakken was not trying to steal Christmas." Kim said. She looked across the hallway to find Josh Mankey at his locker. "And secondly, it was easy compared to this."
"Kim, you didn't flinch when Drakken pointed a giant laser at you point blank." Jen said. "If you can face incredible danger on a bi-weekly basis, you can ask a simple question like 'Would you like to go to the dance with me'."
"I… I don't know." Kim sighed.
"Kim, I learned that it's best to look before you leap." Jen said. "You've looked for too long. Now, it's time to leap."
Kim gulped before rushing over next to Josh. Jen and Ron waited behind the lockers.
"Hey, Josh." Kim said nervously. "Um… Sorry about messing up your banner the other day. That was an accident."
"It's cool. It was weak anyway." Josh said. "Got a better one now. Try not to mess this one up please."
"Promise." Kim laughed. "Maybe… I'll see it there… and maybe I'll see it… with you. That is… if you're willing to go with…"
Josh chuckled. "Are you asking me to the dance?"
"I know it's random, but…"
"Okay."
"What? Really?"
"Yeah. You're pretty cool. So I'll swing by around 7."
"I'll be there."
After seeing the successful invitation, both Jen and Ron high-fived each other.
It turns out that Titania was stronger than the security truck accounted for. After she woke up, she furiously broke out along with Dr. Drakken and Shego. They quickly fled the scene and eluded the cops in the forest.
"I think we're safe for now." Drakken said.
"So what's the next big plan, doc?" Shego asked. "The last one worked out so good."
"I can't take your sarcasm, Shego." Drakken said. "And it would have worked if it hadn't been for Titania!"
"Excuse me?" Titania asked angrily.
"I hired you to take care of She-Hulk, but she got the best of you." Drakken said. "And to think, the Power Broker said you were worth every penny."
Titania growled and clenched her fists. "Well, it's your lucky day, doc. Because you can keep your pay. From now on, my service will be on the house."
Both Drakken and Shego looked at Titania with surprise. "Really?"
"The money's good," Titania said, "But nothing will be more satisfying than payback on that green freak. No one makes a fool of me and gets away with it. Just you wait, She-Hulk, because one way or another, I'm going to beat you to the dirt until you're six feet under."
