"Jingyi?!" Lan Wangji shouts waiting a bit before shouting again "Shizui?!" He was calling out for the juniors but no one responded, at this point he was becoming even more worried by the second.

"Wei Ying?! Jin Ling?!" He calls out his voice filled with worry, after a few minutes of calling names of the juniors and Wei Ying he heard footsteps rushing towards him.

Lan Wangji gripped the hilt of his sword ready to attack whoever was running at him.

"Hanguang-Jun! Hanguang-Jun!" It was Jingyi, Lan Wangji released his grip on Bichen and saw the panicked look on Jingyi's face.

"Jingyi?"

"Jingyi.. breathe don't rush." Jingyi listened to Wangji and took a few breaths so he wouldn't collapse. Wangji had many questions he wanted to ask but decided he should wait til after he says what he needs to say.

"Master Wei.. he went missing and there was blood on the floor." Wangji's eyes widened slightly.

"Where's the others?" He asked in a calm tone, he had to keep calm not wanting the other latter to freak out.

"We split up to find Master Wei." Jingyi replies.

"Did you guys hear anything before Wei Ying went missing?"

"No.. we we're arguing so we didn't hear anything.." Jingyi confessed feeling a bit guilty.

Lan Wangji's heart sank at the news. He knew that Wei Ying had a knack for getting into trouble, but the thought of him being hurt or worse was unbearable. However, he had to remain calm and focused in order to find his missing husband.

"Jingyi, listen to me carefully," Wangji said, his voice steady but firm. "Gather the others and meet me at the last place you saw Wei Ying. Bring anyone else you can find along the way. We need to search for him together."

Jingyi nodded, his face filled with determination despite his fear. "Yes, Hanguang-Jun. You can count on me."

As Jingyi dashed off to carry out his orders, Lan Wangji's mind raced with thoughts. He knew that time was of the essence, and every passing second meant a greater chance of Wei Ying being in danger. With a heavy heart, he quickly calculated the possible locations where Wei Ying could have gone, based on their previous conversations and missions.

Within minutes, the juniors and several other disciples had gathered at the designated meeting point. The worry and anxiety amongst them was palpable, but Lan Wangji tried his best to exude an air of calm authority.

"Wei Ying is missing, and there was blood at the last place he was seen," Wangji addressed the group, his voice projecting with controlled intensity. "We must split up into teams and search every inch of this area. Spread out and comb through every corner, every alley, every building. Leave no stone unturned. We cannot rest until we find him."

The disciples nodded, their expressions resolute. Lan Wangji assigned each team a specific area to search, making sure to evenly distribute the manpower. As the teams dispersed, he joined one himself, silently praying to the gods above for Wei Ying's safety.

Hours turned into night, and still there was no sign of Wei Ying. Lan Wangji's worry deepened with each passing moment, but he refused to let despair cloud his judgement. He urged the disciples to keep searching, pushing them to their limits in the hopes of finding any clue.

Just as dawn broke and hope was starting to dwindle, one of the search teams made a discovery. They found a piece of torn fabric, unmistakably belonging to Wei Ying's robes. Lan Wangji's heart skipped a beat. It was a small clue, but it meant that Wei Ying was still alive.

Gathering the disciples, Lan Wangji shared the news, igniting a renewed sense of determination within them. The search continued with increased fervor, their spirits bolstered by the hope of finding their beloved teacher.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, a shout pierced through the air. Lan Wangji's heart leaped as he recognized Jin Ling's voice. He rushed towards the sound and found Wei Ying, injured but alive, being cradled in Jin Ling's arms.

Relief flooded through Wangji as he knelt down beside Wei Ying, checking his injuries with gentle hands. Wei Ying smiled weakly, his voice barely a whisper. "Lan Zhan...I knew you would find me."

Tears welled up in Lan Wangji's eyes as he pulled Wei Ying into a tight embrace. "I will always find you, Wei Ying," he murmured against his husband's hair. "I will never let you go."

In that moment, Lan Wangji knew that no matter the challenges or dangers they faced, as long as they were together, they would always triumph.
