Chapter four:
Haruhi walks through the halls of the school as she tried to figure out what to do. She doubts that she'd just be accepted into a random group for such a big task. She friend before blinking as she sees the twins head into that club room of theirs. She doesn't like it but because they worked with her once she might be able to join them. She heads over stepping into the room jumping when a blonde teen throws petals at her.
"Welcome to the host club!" The blonde teen calls out happily making Haruhi groan.
Of course there's a host club in this school.
Haruhi softly sighs as she now know why they had that costume to use for the test.
"I'm sorry but we're closed right now. So you'll have to come back tomorrow." The blonde teen informs her sounding very polite.
Haruhi does a quick sweep of those there, no doubt they all do the huge theft assignment together, and realizes she might be able to squeeze into their numbers. "I am not here about your club activities." She admits getting a stunned look from the blonde teen. "I was hoping I could join your group." She lets out a breath. "I don't really have anyone I really know here to join them. I figured trying for a group with those I've worked with before might help. If you say no I'll understand."
"Hmm..." The blonde teen strokes his chin in thought while looking Haruhi up and down. His thoughtful look is lingering too long for Haruhi. "Well we usually allow a regular to have a chance to join us." He starts with which starts to make Haruhis hope fade. "However for you. I think we can give it a shot." His answer surprises Haruhi.
"You're actually letting me on your team?" Haruhi was certainly not expecting that. She calms herself before responding more. "Thank you so much. I really do appreciate you allowing me into your group."
"Well commoners are something else. Especially you who pulled off that theft with our twins like you knew what to do. They told us all about it. I wanna see what more you can do." The blonde teen explains to Haruhi. "Though I do warn you that unlike for our guests that join we will expect more from you."
"I won't let you down." Haruhi hopes that'll be true.
"Oh my!" The blonde brings his hands to his face in shock. "I haven't even introduced all of us yet." He stands tall and proud with one hand on his chest and the other hanging down. "The name is Tamaki." He almost seems to bask in the spotlight for a moment before turning. "The one writing in the book of Kyouya. Our adorable mini member is Hunney, the tall one next to him is Mori. And of course the twins Hikaru and Kaoru." He nods to each of them as he says their names. He turns back to Haruhi with a slight bow and extended hand. "And what your name be?"
"Haruhi." Haruhi doesn't take the offered hand at first as it doesn't look like just a normal handshake. "It's nice to meet you all."
"Nice to meet you Haruhi." Tamaki responds moving his hand away. "Welcome aboard!"
Haruhi is just glad that she was able to get into a group.
"Now come." Tamaki turns raising a hand by his head with his pointer finger up. His left hand on his hip. "We have a meeting to start discussing the biggest heist of the school." He heads for a large table with the others following.
Haruhi joins them sitting down next to Hunney who feels welcoming for her to sit there.
"So." Tamaki clears his throat when everyone is settled in a chair. "Me and mommy..." He pauses glancing to Haruhi who blinks in confusion. "I mean Kyouya." He closes his eyes looking away as he corrects himself; leaving Haruhi wondering just what kind of a group she's now mixed up in. "Have already scouted out a place with plenty of expensive things. Kyouya was even able to narrow down what specifically the most expensive thing is. We shall hit this place early before anyone else might get their hands on any of it." He steps away a moment before putting a blueprint on the table.
They all lean in to take a look.
It is clearly a blueprint of the layout for the building.
Haruhi thinks that it looks like some kind of museum. She hates all of this... However she knows that she has to do this if she wants the best chance at her future career. She stays silent as she listens to where they'll be entering from. She thinks that the point of entry which is a mostly forgotten side door is pretty good.
Especially since it's in a spot that most wouldn't think to go so there's no alarm.
"We all will have to be careful of the cameras. This place is very secure with their cameras." Tamaki adds to which Kyouya clears his throat to take over.
"We will be sending you all out of here with pictures to show where the cameras are. Make sure to memorize their positions and where their blind spots are. In this heist we won't all be staying together. So knowing all the cameras will be your best course of action. Along with actually knowing where you're going."
Haruhi nods her head and she knows it's not going to be too hard for her. She's pretty good at memorizing things, she made sure to work on it for her studying, so she isn't worried about it for herself at least.
"Good." Tamaki sounds pleased that everyone seems to be understanding the plan. "We will start with the cameras and knowing the layout, before we talk about what we will steal from there." He looks to the blueprints. "Let us start with showing you all the cameras and their blind spots."
Haruhi and the others listen closely as Kyouya shows them how to sneak past each camera. They all do their best to remember where the blind spots are exactly.
After the meeting is over they all head off to go home for the day.
Haruhi starts her walk to catch the bus which will get her at least closer to home. She could just walk though she knows it is quite a long walk. She is well aware that the bus stop is closer than trying to go all the way home.
This school really wasn't built for those who don't have a ride home.
Haruhi looks at the pictures of the information she needs to memorize. She can do a little bit as she walks. She will have more time to help around the house afterwards. She arrives at the bus stop and puts the papers into her bag, not wanting those few people there to see what they are.
One of them is well known to be especially nosy to even those playing or texting on their phones. He seems to just take a peek because he's bored though the invasion of privacy has gotten him punched before. He just still keeps doing it.
Haruhi is pretty sure that eventually this guy might get banned from the bus. She knows that it is only a matter of time.
Luckily the bus comes rather quickly.
Haruhi lets out a sigh relaxing in her chosen seat with no one sitting beside her right now. She can't wait for the whole big thieving event at school to be over.
Stealing things around the school for tests is one thing.
This event is another. Due to it being actual law breaking in the real world.
As much as Haruhi doesn't want to do this she knows that she can't get a fail on it. She was told in class about how big this whole thing is. She might not get the grade she needs to go on to her future career.
At least the school doesn't tell anyone that doesn't need to know about things. For obvious reasons especially in this case.
Haruhi glances out the window next to her as she tries to not think about it anymore.
