The demoness said all the right things at all the right times, but Kagome wasn't talking at all.

"You need to eat," He told her.

It didnt matter if she did, it would come back up.

He sat against a tree; she sat with her back to him. food was spread out, but she would not touch it.

She wasn't doing it to please him; she just had nothing to say.

Kagome stood, wobbly, Sesshomaru stood quickly, but even as weak as she was, she walked away.

"Miko werre are you going?"

She said nothing, and if things could not get worse, the demoness walked out.

"My Lord,"

Kagome rolled her eyes.

Sesshomaru grabbed her arm, she spun around and pushed him away, he growled: "Oh go choke on a bone!"

The demoness covered her mouth in shock.

He yanked Kagome close and, grabbed her hair, and pulled her head back. "Enough," He said darkly,

Suddenly Kagome had a burst of energy "Yes my Lord," She was mocking.

He growled more "Enough Kagome,"

His mother watched from above and found it very interesting.

"Or what Sesshomaru?"

He looked up at the demoness "Leave us,"

She bowed and backed away.

"Woman,"

"I am a woman, dont forget that" She tried to pull her head from his hand but he just tightened his grip.

He leaned in close, his nose pumping her neck "It was I who made you that way, or have you forgotten our night?"

Kagome shivered as goosebumps rose on her skin.

"We know she is pregnant, should you not be smelling the other woman?"

It was like ice to both their faces, and Sesshomaru slowly released her, and Kagome bolted.

His mother's timing was calculated he knew and as if things could not get worse, they had new guest.

"The halfbreed is here,"

Kagome had never been so happy to see Kikyo before in her life.

"You guys!" She greeted,

"You look pretty good Kagome," Inuyasha noted; he had been concerned the whole way.

"Do not let her looks fool you; she was ill up until a few moments ago," Sesshomaru told on her,

Inuyasha growled. "What is she doing here." He said spotting Sesshomaru's mother.

"She is my mother Inuyasha,"

"Like you give a shit,"

"Why have you come?" Sesshomaru asked,

Kikyo held up the book "We figured some of this could also help her,"

Just then the demoness stepped out.

"Thats not Tula," Inuyasha pointe out,

Kagome waved her hand, and Sesshomaru wanted to groan because he knew she was about to be mouthy.

"Oh that's just his next victim," Kagome said under her breath

If the demoness was insulted, she didnt know it.

"You are something else you know that!"

Sesshomaru stepped forward ready to put Inuyasha in his place, but Kagome put her arm out "Oh no you dont; I'll sit both of you if you two start," She was feeling good suddenly, and they were not fixing to mess it up throwing their power around.

Sesshomaru looked down at her arm "You may try; I have still not forgotten your insult about my person," He was still pissed about her calling him half a man; he had half a mind to remind her just how manly he was.

She moved her arm and looked back at Kikyo. "Want to fill me in? I could use all the help I can get,"

Kikyo moved her eyes to Sesshomaru,

He simply nodded and allowed them to pass.
