Hi! I'm back with the second chapter, I'm going to try to write a chapter a week, let's see if I have time, my exams are coming up. Anyway, I promised the second chapter would be more exciting than the first, hopefully this meets your expectations. Please review!
[Scene: Ross and Rachel got back from Long Island, they're in Joey and Rachel's apartment. Ross just put Emma to bed, Rachel was waiting to talk to him]
Ross: Emma's down for the night (Ross walks towards Rachel at the counter and sets the baby monitor down, beside the armchair.)
Rachel: Oh, good.
Ross: So, uh, I guess I'm gonna take off (he pats Rachel on the shoulder)
Rachel: Okay.
(Ross puts his scarf on)
Rachel: Hey, listen, uh, just before you go... I just wanna say thank you for coming with me.
(Ross puts his jacket on)
Ross: Oh, no problem.
(Rachel shortly thinks about what she wants to say and stands up)
Rachel: And also, you know, I, uh... I was thinking about what you said, uh, you know, about the whole sex thing... Probably not a great idea to go down that road again.
Ross: Thank you. I'm glad you agree.
Rachel: It's a shame, though. When we did it, it was pretty good.
(Ross and Rachel shortly laugh, not keeping eye contact with one another)
(Ross fixes his scarf and jacket)
Ross: Yeah. Yeah, that's true.
(Rachel moves toward Ross, minimizing the space between them)
Rachel: Hey, um, do you remember that one really great time?
Ross: Oh, yeah!
Rcahel: You know?
(Ross and Rachel speak at the same time)
Ross: It was Valentine's Day.
Rcahel: It was your birthday.
(short pause as they look back on the time the other person mentioned, realizing they were right too)
Ross and Rachel: Oh, yeah.
(Rachel slowly looks at Ross and looking sadder than before)
Rachel: Well, I guess that's all in the past now.
(Ross feeling the same way and a look of regret)
Ross: Hmm-hmm
(They both cannot look at each other)
Rachel: Not even one more time (Rachel trying to convince herself that's what she believes)
Ross: Not even once (Ross trying to convince himself that's what he believes)
Rachel: No matter how much we want it.
Ross: Even if we want it... really bad (him clearly wanting it really badly)
Rachel: That's what we decided (and point to herself and Ross)
(Ross and Rachel smiling through the pain)
Ross: Yeah, ha, ha, that's right.
(another short second, them realizing they're just lying to themselves)
Rachel: It's kind of hard, though. You know? (she looks him straight in the eyes)
Ross: Yeah. (Ross smiling, happily knowing she was feeling the same he was)
Rachel: When two people have a connection (her hands gesturing to herself and Ross), you know, that's (she takes a step closer to him, looks at his eyes, then his lips) ... Just seems like... (looks at her nails) such a (moves closer to him, not losing eye contact) ... waste (her eyes flicker left to right, never losing his contact with him)
Ross: I hate waste (looks at her lips the entire time, just wanting to know what it would be like to have them on his.)
(Rachel looks at his lips for a second, wanting so badly to remove the space between them; looks up at his eyes, knowing he was thinking about the same thing, but bringing him back to reality)
Rachel: Ross?
Ross: Yes? (turns his head quickly to give his full attention to the "real" Rachel, not the one he was kissing in his head)
Rcahel: Just so you know... (eyes left to right, left to right) with us... (quick glance at his lips, she moves closer to him, only centimeters, separating them from touching)
Ross's heart beating faster than humanly possible, this is what Rachel did to him, anytime she was near him, he couldn't think clearly. He didn't want to think clearly anymore. He moved his lips so close to hers, he could feel her breathing.
Rachel didn't step back when Ross got closer to her, she felt something was going to happen, but didn't do anything to stop it, she didn't want to care about the possible consequences anymore. She only cared about right now. She wanted right now to happen.
Rachel: ...it's never off the...
She couldn't even finish her sentence, when Ross grabbed her face, removed her hair from her face, his thumb on her cheek and the rest under her ears on her neck. He pushed himself against her body, making her stumble, but Rachel straightened herself, so not to lose contact with him.
He did what he so badly wanted to, she let him do what she so badly wanted.
He plunged himself at her, finally getting rid of that awful space between them. His lips touched her. She was surprised by this aggressive act, her lips were stiff at first, but the second she realized the situation, she sank into him. Their lips were soft as a pillow, just like falling on your bed after a long day, it was a relief. They didn't realize how much they longed for each other, but the second they intertwined, everything became crystal clear. They needed each other, they were each other's air, they needed it and they wanted more.
Rachel's knees were weakening, she put her arms around his neck to stabilize herself and to be closer. Ross took this as a good side and his tongue asked for entrance in her mouth, she gracefully accepted and entered his too. Their tongues danced around, creating their own little routine aligned to the beat of their hearts, which were speeding up every second.
Rachel moved her hands up in between the strands of his hair, Ross moved his down, to grab her by the waist and tightened her around him. Their bodies were burning through their clothes. They were locked to each other; nothing was breaking these two apart.
The feeling of his hands on her body drove her crazy. Before, every time he touched her, butterflies would fly out of her stomach and make her nervous, but now all she wanted was for him to touch every nerve. She couldn't get enough, her grip got stronger on his hair.
Their lips pumped, separating only when needing air and connecting straight after.
Ross lifted her on the counter and moved his pecks to her neck, Rachel fell back, her body was failing, she didn't have the strength to hold herself up. Ross grabbed her waist, pulling her up and had his other hand flat on the counter, holding them both up. His lips moved back to hers, almost swallowing her whole.
Ross never wanted it to end, he always thought of when this could happen, but never actually did anything. When Rachel started taking off his jacket, he remembered what he had said the day before. Was this a bad idea? He let her pull his jacket off and pushed back, leaving her lips wanting more. Rachel was shocked at this, she felt empty again, she needed him on her. Her cheeks were blushing, and her lips were red from the sucking. She slightly fell back as he loosened his grip around her.
"What?" she desperately asked, but he only stared at the woman in front of him.
"This is..." Ross started to say silently, but when he looked into her beautiful deep eyes, he fell into their deep blue ocean. He realized that he didn't care about what would happen after, he just wanted her now and it felt right too. This wasn't a bad idea; this wasn't a mistake.
Rachel, still staring at him, couldn't understand why he had stopped such an intense moment, she didn't say another word. She looked him in the eye, he stared back and suddenly something clicked. This made sense to her, but she doubted if it made sense to him. Did he not feel the same way?
Another couple second passed; Ross broke the silence.
"Rachel?" he practically whispered, sounding desperate.
"Yes" she replied.
They were still staring at each other.
Ross got closer again, showing her that he wanted her, she grabbed his waist and pulled him closer, telling him she wanted him. Ross tucked her hair behind her ear. He moved closer. She put her hand back to her previous position, on the back of his head, in between the soft strands of hair. They both knew this was it. They were it. Rachel pulled his head closer, Ross let her. Their lips, millimeters away...
At that moment, the door swings open.
I don't know how much you guys liked this chapter; I didn't really know how to go about it. I've never written an intimate scene like this. I tried my best. Hopefully you still enjoyed it. I know the ending is annoying, but I need something to write about. Please comment, tell me your opinions of this chapter. Thank you to everyone that commented on the last chapter, incredibly sweet of you.
And a special thank you to Tina Chaves1, "Until It's Gone" was the first fanfiction I've ever read, EVER. Your stories are amazing! I can't believe you commented. Thank you so much.
Chapter 3 should be out next week, let's see, I've got a busy week. See you then!
