That’s as far as the story will go the first time the meteors appear

5. Chapter 4 the trials tournament part one

Chapter 4 The Trial Tournament

it's tournament time it's tournament trial time and this is gonna be fun so try it. This whole chapter will be on that. I hope you enjoy how Lucy interacts with the people in this getting in this chapter. I'm glad you all are enjoying the story so far in this series please check out my Memory Oracle series book before this one after this book is concluded we will be going into the main story, so I hope you enjoy it, and I hope that you think of Lucy as a villain you'd love to hate because I do, I know she's your typical oh, I want to take over the world villain, but I don't think you would think too much of her. There's more to her than this and there's gonna be more great evil things coming.

before we get into the main part of this chapter, I should lay down the rules for this tournament. OK, here they are.

One no killing killing is not allowed in this tournament. It's only a fencing tournament, well fencing, archery, and sparring only.

two magic is allowed, but only light magic. It's only to show magical ability, not fighting one another.

Three he may work in pairs or as a team, if like if you'd like to do that, it's not against the rules

that's all the rules for now. OK I guess will be time to get back into the story this tournament even though I just gave you the rules is just a sparring tournament to see the skills of these people. One will win, but everyone can live all right. story begins let's get started with the chapter.

we left Lucy walking off with her friend well, friend, an ally, I guess Skyler walked after where the tournament was going to be held maybe not for love, but they did act like friends I guess the homemade teleporter then were the trials were going to be inside of a little garden area you may talk amongst yourselves, but you cannot leave announcing of what will be doing in the trials will be announced. Once you all get into the main area inside the arena, challenges will be announced. talking amongst yourselves to know your competition is encouraged maybe make some alliances make a team if you'd like said the HAIM age you might get through this better as a team even though only one will win, you could work together as a team, to help with some of the challenges, because some of the challenges will be team-oriented.

but I want to give this one rule killing is not allowed. You shall not kill your participants or cheat cheating will disqualify you and you will lose.

all the participants started mingling around into groups with the party outside but different and people got to know I wanted another during this time there were lots of people there there were about 26 participants 26 were going to become one at the end, even though Skyler wanted Susan to be in a team with her Susan refused I will not be in a team with you brother. our first contest is Capture the Flag, an old-fashioned game so much fun here are the rules for the first round. Jaime said as he was getting the attention of everyone else.

there's a flag on the top of the hill you have to get it by any means necessary except no killing rule one you may use any of your spells but only use them in defense only the show what you have in your spell. Category is encouraged that you use your magic that is a RAW.

rule number two you must you can use any fighting technique that you know must be usable, but don't kill your opponent or you're disqualified and you have cheated. Trust me killing is not allowed like I said before one winner, but everyone gets a consolation prize at the end.

three it'll be a challenge to climb the hill to get the flag so most of your spells will be used for the challenge. Use them as much as possible to help you climb the mountain to grab the flag.

For when you get the flag, it'll glow in your hand, conceal it in any way and you're disqualified don't hide your flag from others. Don't hide the flag. If you can't get it, then someone else will cry, but if you're the first one there I will in the round if you grab it, and for the person that makes it to the top first I will give them a surprise when the round comes to near the end, a special battle for them. OK, enough of the rules let us get started.

Oh no, some people might be good at one thing and others are not.

Wow interesting how strong are your powers I think I have some of these and Milyer's madness-level spells are interesting how old are you 13? She said wow you already have those level spells and you're only 13 that's incredible. Yeah, I know she said but it won't matter once I take over the world, well that's what you wanna do with your life I support you and you know I know.

but to do that, I have to overthrow the founders and the masters early and take control of the Masters' Council, to do that I have to get rid of the two founders. I can't kill them so I have to figure out how to get them off the council that ain't gonna be easy Skyler said getting them off the council is not the easiest thing in the world. You're the strongest two people in our entire world you know I thought you were evil I am, so, wouldn't you respect the Founders, I'm evil, but I'm not that evil Skyler said I do respect our first mage without her we wouldn't have magic you know.

Great now the watch opens up again send Lucy the watch yeah stupid watch I'm a time crash so my counterpart keeps opening for me my slave they think they know everything about everything that I could go through but they're ridiculously stupid and weak so I control them. Do you have time magic not now I don't but I'm thinking about overthrowing or founder and master of time by stealing her power somehow I had to figure out how first of all because it's not gonna be easy to take her magic unless she grants it to me which I doubt she will but she might have to since I'm her ancestor. Oh, right she is the first human. Yes, she's the first human.

We should be able to get up there, right, yes, said Evan and Robert together Lantis said Robert picking each one up and carrying them up the mountain. He's cheating it's not cheating. Lucy said they said that they could use magic I guess flying is one of his strongest powers.

There were four flags ready for them and they grabbed them and got our flags they said as they ran down the other side of the mountain they were still in it for the next round fire ramp and Cindy Atas fire ramp said Susan and they rode down the fire ramp to the bottom. Nice job, Susan, thank you any better than you using Atlantis to make us fly down every time.

there are only a few more flags left to get only certain teams were able to get it. Those who worked individually will not be able to get a flag, which would be very difficult for them. There were obstacles also in the way, but that team was very good at getting away from those particular obstacles.

no, it was Lucy's group's turn all right it's our turn. I need to get up that mountain and get our group of flags we can't cheat. I know that even though cheating would be fun we don't wanna get disqualified yet. I want to be in the magical part of the tournament even more so this is just to show off a few of our magic skills.

when the team made it to the top, there was a surprise, waiting for them. Halt's voice said you shall not pass. There are only a few bags left, and only a few of you will be making it past this round. One of you will be disqualified or be out I should say we are surprised that Jaime did not tell you about it yet we are the vote Orian majors from last year's winners, and we are also copper ranked in the guild.

next, Tristan, you may come up and get your flag. If you can find us, Tristan climbed up with a sneer on his face, knowing he could, but then knowing he couldn't, but he didn't care he didn't have any magical abilities except for healing, and it wasn't gonna be much of anything.

but he couldn't fight back against the bullets. It didn't kill him, but it injured him. Small holes were on his skin. They're not gonna kill you, but you need to get some healers to heal that I'm a healer, but I mean you need another healer to heal you you can't heal yourself, you're right I have lost. I don't deserve a flag. He walks down the wheel and teleports you out of the arena since well since you have no magical abilities, you're the first one out so you don't get a chance to even perform and move on to the next round.

Even though Amelia was a villain. She did strike up a conversation with her well, it's Susan what do you think the state of this of this will be I don't know who the winner will be at this round. We were the winners of this round but I don't know who will win the entire tournament. It'll be a close call all his powers are amazing so far. Well, thank you I guess, what do you mean by that Susan Schuyler I mean that I'm complimenting them you're such a good sport why do you have to be so good? Why do you have to be so mean brother I want to show my own away from you and I want to shine without being under your name but you're not very powerful magically Susan I'm surprised you were able to dodge and not be over on the bench with Tristan because I do have a pretty good magic skill she said but I'm not showing my true power yet so Susan you just have to wait until it's time in the next round before I can show off my powers fine he said we'll see what you have and I think you did well even though I'm evil I said I still think you did decently well thank you I guess which all of us have got flag so that's memorable right commemorable right that's the word commemorable thank you you're welcome.

she didn't want to cheat until the next round so she decided to run down gracefully as she finished up her power. There's no way to win this whole contest. She doesn't know anything about me. She knows magic, but she won't make it past this round next round after that might be having to do with weapons or hand-to-hand combat and you know how bad that she is, that is true, so Helena. Of course, our daughter isn't good at that kind of thing.

OK, the high mage said next round magical con bat. This is a MAGIC in a magical sparring match. This will show off your magical talents more than the flag one dead. The flag one shows off your agility speed and skills. This one will just show off your magical skills as a mages. You can use any of your spells that you have at your exposure I will still keep this place safe from getting hit by your spells, this is around two

I think I'm gonna cut it here so it doesn't get too boring. Will do the magical sparring match between the high mage and the royal family of older next that way the chapter doesn't get over full of things. Don't worry the story will get good see you in the next chapter.
