Birds scattered as Kemo starts to laugh. "Yugi, you don't have a chance beating Kaiba because this time he is a ghost."

"What did you do to him!?" Kelly cried, shaking with emotion.

"I didn't do anything." The goon answered simply. "Two witnesses saw him fall to his doom."

"Liar!" Mokuba yelled as the other teens gasp. "Take back what you said!"

"Just what sick game is this?!" Kelly demanded with tears. "Seto's standing right there, we all can see him!"

"Get use to it. All that's left of Kaiba are your memories. But, a very cranky ghost just looking for revenge."

The Spirit walked up to Kelly. "It's not him!"

Kelly rapidly shook her head and fell to her knees, tears flooding down her cheeks. "It can't be him! It just can't!" She cried.

The Spirit knelt down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's not him." He repeated as he tried to reassure her, gently squeezing her shoulder. He turns and uses his free hand to point at Kaiba. "They guy's nothing but a fake, a trick by Pegasus!" He yells.

At his castle, Pegasus watched on a screen. "Don't worry, Mokuba. I'll win your freedom. Then we'll find your brother." He said laughing. "This is extremely entertaining! I just love reality TV."

"Who is Yugi dueling?" Asked the goon behind him.

"It's not Kaiba … what's left of him." Pegasus answered. "The poor boy had shown so much promise."

"But now he's … it's … here." The goon stuttered. "How did you do that?"

"I really can't take all the credit." Explained Pegasus. "I had help from Yugi. And now to return the favor, I'm going to teach him a lesson about the real power of the Millennium items."

Tears continued to flood down Kelly's cheeks, not wanting to believe what was happening. Mokuba walked to her side and hugged her from the side, she returned his hug.

Kemo walked over to the two. "Now you two have fallen into the trap!" He sneered, taking a step towards them, Kelly fall backwards and Mokuba falls into her, both looking up at Kemo with a frightened look.

Suddenly Kaiba shoved Kemo to the ground. "I believe I told you before." Kaiba said in a cold threatening and calm manner as he now stood in front of Kelly and Mokuba protectively. "Go near either of them again, I'll brake your face!"

"Wow, so Kaiba does still care for Kelly." Tea said as she and her friends stood to the side.

"Or Kaiba's just talking through his butt." Tristan replied.

"I'm still confused." Joey said, while scratching the side of his head.

"That is not Seto Kaiba!" The Spirit said firmly.

Kaiba turns his scary look to the others, Tea shivered The Spirit side stepped in front of her.

"Yugi, you look like you've seen a ghost." Kaiba said.

"That's enough."

"I am no longer of this world, and it's all because of you. I could have had it all, but when you beat me, you took more then just the match. You stole my life and destroyed my soul."

"You're nothing but an imposter!" The Spirit said. "So stop the lies and let's start the duel."

"Fine with me." Kaiba said. "This time, you won't beat my cards."

"You might look like Kaiba, but there is no way you can imitate his deck." The Spirit said.

"You mean my deck." Kaiba smugly said, making the Spirit growl.

"Beat him Yugi!" Mokuba encouraged. "That man is not my brother! He's just a fake!"

"Yeah! That ghost don't even look like Kaiba." Joey added, moving over to knelt next to Kelly.

"That's right." Tea said. "Wait. I mean, it's not a ghost and it's not Kaiba." She mutters.

"Get him, Yugi!" Tristan said.

"Teach Pegasus a lesson!" James added.

"Yugi, I know you can hear me. I know you can sense my thoughts, and I knows you can see the truth." Seto Kaiba thought. "I am Seto Kaiba, but this time, you're dueling someone who's got nothing to lose." Out loud, he added. "Kemo, once I beat Yugi, Pegasus can have Kaiba Corporation. All I want is revenge. 3 stars says I win."

"Fine by me." The Spirit said. "That means when the duel's done, I'll have 6!"

"Let's duel!" Both said in union, and the duel began.

"Guess I'll go first. Heh. And I'll start off with the Hitotsu-Me Giant." The monster appeared on the field, causing The Spirit to gasp. "Mmm. Is something wrong?" Kaiba asked. "It's your move Yugi."

"The Hitotsu-Me Giant is how Kaiba began our last duel." The Spirit thought.

"There's a card just like that in my brother's deck." Mokuba said as he and Kelly are now surrounded by the others.

"Hey, just cause its the same card doesn't mean its the same deck." Joey said.

The monster roared on the field.

"He's trying to confuse me by making the same opening move that Kaiba did, but it'll save the same result." The Spirit thought. "I'll start with this card. Go, Dark Magician! With an attack strength of 2,500!" The mage appears on the field. "Dark Magic Attack!" Dark Magician followed orders, destroying The Hitotsu-Me Giant. "So much for your giant." The Spirit said as Kaiba's life points drop to 700.

Kaiba chuckles. "You're as strong as ever, Yugi." He raises his arm slightly.

"Did you see that!?" Joey asked. "That carbon copy Kaiba is laughin!"

"It's funny how things have come full circle, Yugi." Kaiba said. "What are you thinking in that feeble brain of yours right now? I bet I know. You've come to the conclusion that no matter what, there's no way you can win, and you couldn't be more right. Even a simpleton like you now knows that I must be Seto Kaiba, and once you accept that fact, you may as well accept defeat."

"I don't care who you are, you're going to lose to me just the same."

"But Yugi, you barely beat me the last time we dueled. And this time, your big adventure is gone."

"What do you mean?"

"Heh heh. Exodia. You've lost Exodia." Kaiba answered, making The Spirit gasp.

"You could only beat me with Exodia in your deck. And without it, you can only lose."

"Then that can't be the real Seto." Kelly said, still sitting on the ground, Mokuba next to her.

"How's that?" Joey asked.

"Because nobody but us knows that Weevil threw the cards into the ocean." Kelly answered.

"Into the ocean?" Mokuba gasped, turning to her.

"Yeah, he didn't want Exodia to be used on him, and threw the cards over the railing." Kelly explained. "Joey jumped overboard to save them."

"Because of the combination of the current and the waves of the boat, I only found two of the cards." Joey added.

At the Kaiba mansion, the real Seto Kaiba stood behind a tree, watching the guards.

Flashback

"Get him!" Pegasus' goons shouts and both run towards the window and look out.

"Nobody could survive a fall like that."

With a case in hand, Kaiba climbs up onto a cliffs edge.

Kaiba walks away and scales the concrete wall. He pulls a chain that's hidden in the grass, lifting up a secret passage in the ground to reveal an underground hideout. Kaiba pulls back a book to reveal a door with a retinal scan. Once scanned, the door opens and a room with computers is revealed.

"Running Identity Verification Protocol." A female robotic voice spoke from the computer. "Please state your name."

"Seto Kaiba."

"I thought I'd seen it all, but having to break into your own house?" The computer asked.

"Its too long a story for right now." Kaiba answered simply.

"Too long a story?" The computer asked, logging Kaiba into its system. "Well, maybe I'm not in such a talkative mood myself right now."

"I find that hard to believe."

"Such a smart guy." The computer said as it showed him what was going on. "While you were gallivanting, a hostile takeover of Kaiba Corporation has begun."

"I know."

"At the sometime, Maximillion Pegasus kicked off his Duel Monsters Championship at the Duelist Kingdom." The computer continued as it showed a picture of Pegasus, then Yugi. "If Yugi Moto can be defeated by Pegasus, or a competitor that's represented by him, then the new Kaiba Corporation Board has promised him control of the company."

"He won't win. Yugi's unbeatable. His deck has Exodia."

"Yeah, well, sometime after you lost to Yugi, he lost Exodia." The computer reveals.

"No way!" A shocked Kaiba gasped.

"When it rains, it pours." The computer said as a picture of Mokuba appears on screen. "Pegasus knows about the Corporation bylaws that require a living Kaiba hair to make any change of control legal. Mokuba's his prisoner, and with you out of the way, its likely Pegasus exert all kinds of pressure to make your brother do what he wants." The computer explained and a picture of Kelly appears on screen. "Kelly is also in danger if she tries to help save Kaiba Corporation. So, now you know. What are we going to do?"

"They'll keep my brother safe, at least until the takeover is complete." Kaiba began. "So, I've got to make sure Pegasus doesn't defeat Yugi in a duel no matter what. Pegasus lays a finger on Kelly, I'll rip his face off! I'm not gonna give up Kaiba Corporation without a real fight. Its take over time … by me. We're going to hack right into Pegasus' computer mainframe. Next stop, the Duelist Kingdom!"

Back on the island. The duel is still going. "Are you here to play head games or Duel Monsters?" The Spirit questioned. "It's time for your move."

"And its gonna blow your mind." The fake Kaiba chuckled. "This next card's a blast from the past, Yugi … the the emphasis on 'blast'." He shows the first Blue Eyes White Dragon, and The Spirit gasped. "I attack with the Blue Eyes White Dragon!" He places the beast onto the field. Blue Eyes White Dragon roars as it appears.

"Only one has that card." Joey said.

"That means, what they say … could it be true?" Mokuba couldn't comprehend it, his knees gave out causing him to collapse next to Kelly on the ground.

"No." Kelly's voice shook with sobs, her head bows and her tears creating a puddle in the dirt in front of her. "Seto." She whispered.

"Looks like the advantage is mine." The carbon copy laughed.

"So, this really is Kaiba's deck." The Spirit thought. "There's no other explanation. But does that mean that Kaiba … Kaiba is really?"

"Don't worry, Yugi. My feelings weren't hurt when you called me a liar. Now admit that you were wrong." Kaiba chuckled. "Not having a real body isn't so bad. You would not believe what I save in food bills alone. But I still get to enjoy the finer things in life, like revenge, and I'm going to savor its sweet taste for a very long time."

"SHUT UP!" Mokuba screamed with rage. "Please, someone make him go away! Make him go away!"

"Heh. Almost breaks my heart … if I had one."

"We've easily broken through the Duelist Kingdom computer system." The computer tells Kaiba.

"To easy. Ok." The real Kaiba looked at the screen. "When it comes to computer duels, Pegasus has met his match. Now it should be a piece of cake to find the field in which Yugi is dueling."

"I'm lookin, I'm lookin." The computer said as it searched for Yugi, when suddenly a cartoon rabbit pops with a stop sign on it. "Access denied?"

"What did you do wrong?" Kaiba asked.

"Don't blame me. I finally found the security, and it's all around Yugi's data." The computer said.

"Ah, I should've known." Kaiba then smiles. "Fine by me. Go ahead and give it your best shot. There isn't a computer system anywhere on Earth that I can't break into. Here's the thing; every computer has a back door if you know where to look. And guess where we're gonna look."

"Beats me."

Kaiba rolled his eyes. "It'll be quicker if I take over on manual for awhile." He starts to type away. "Data from all the duels is being beamed from the island to an orbiting industrial illusions satellite and back down to their mainframe. These transmissions are obviously encrypted. If we can somehow force the industrial illusions computer off line, I'm sure their backup systems won't have as much security."

"Are you saying we can make their computer crash … from here? But how?" The computer asks.

"A computer crash is exactly what I had in mind." Kaiba said. "The biggest computer crash ever. And I'm going to use Pegasus' own satellite to do it."

"But I've already tried to hack into their system." The computer said.

"My idea's different." Kaiba replied. "Once the security is down, we should be able to freely access the data. Be ready with a search for the Dark Magician."

"Gotcha." The computer brings up the Dark Magician. "Dark Magician inquiry loaded and standing by."

"Good. If Yugi's dueling, he's sure to use that card."

"So, spill it already." The computer said. "How the heck are we going to use industrial illusions' own satellite to bring down their own computer?"

"By bringing down the satellite itself … down all the way!"

"By bringing down the satellite schematics. M class triton series. Booster rocket controls on line. Locating orbital coordinates." The computer said as it works. "Breaching onboard computer security." The computer reaches a Keep Out door and works its way through, opening its doors. "You are now the proud owner of an Industrial Illusions satellite."

"Great. Now. Now plot a crash course for the computer mainframe." Seto ordered.

"Updating new coordinates now. We are locked on target for the computer."

"Hmm." Seto looked at the screen. "Virus software won't stop this. Pegasus! You're on notice that the Kaiba Corporation's still mine!"

"Satellite impact in 10 seconds."

Back on the island. The carbon copy laughs evilly. I won't attack just yet. Why rush to victory when I can draw it out as long as possible instead?" He places a face down card on the field.

The Spirit switches to Dark Magician. "Dark Magician, go to defensive mode." He said, and his monster kneels in defense mode. "And I summon Curse Of Dragon on the defense as well." Curse Of Dragon screeches as it appeared on the field.

"Smart playing, Yugi." Carbon copy of Kaiba said. "Unfortunately, it wasn't smart enough. You played right into my hand." He flips over a magic card. "Defense Paralysis!"

"A trap!" The Spirit said as both Dark Magician and Curse Of Dragon went into Attack Mode.

"Hmm, now all your monster cards on the field have been switched to attack mode." Taunts the Carbon copy.

Mokuba and the others gasp.

"No!" Kelly cries.

"YUGI!" Mokuba screams.

"Ha! It's time!" Carbon Copy says. "Blue Eyes White Dragon, use your white lightning!" The first Blue Eyes White Dragon fires its attack on the Curse Of Dragon, destroying it. "Well, so much for your Curse Of Dragon."

"Yugi!" Yugi's friends shout as his life points drop to 1,000.

Back at Kaiba Mansion. Real Seto Kaiba is still searching for Yugi. "No Dark Magician there. Next field."

"We've exhausted almost every possibility of locating Yugi Moto."

"Huh?" Seto blinked as they reach the next field.

"Field 146 is the is the final active duel."

"Then he's gotta be there." Seto said. "Search field 146."

"You got it." The computer said, but when it tried to to in, the screen went fuzzy and froze.

"What's that!?"

"Looks like I crashed."

"Reboot." Seto orders, and the computers reboots.

"Back online."

"Enter 146." Seto ordered, and the crash happens again.

"I'm frozen again."

"Huh?"

"Its worse this time."

"Hang on. Watch this." Seto quickly types on the keyboard. The Dark Magician pops up with a big red 'X' on it. "Gotcha! Just as I thought. So, a virus. A good one. That means just one thing. Searching for Yugi's cards activates the virus. Yugi's inside. Get ready to go in."

"But the security door!"

"We've come this far already, and I'm not gonna blow it!" Seto said, uploading a virtual TNT. "Actually, yes I am."

On the screen, the TNT explodes. "Huh?" Seto looks at the virtual smoke as it cleared. "What's that?"

"It's a virtual fortress." Answered the computer. "Sensors indicate that all of the data from Yugi's duels are processed here. You won't blow your way through this thing. It's the ultimate defense, and it's impossible to penetrate without a password."

"Hmm, a password." Seto said to himself. "If I know Pegasus, that egomaniac would never think that anyone would outsmart him even get this far. We're going in!"

"Hmm, a password?"

"Ha! Pegasus."

"Ha." Seto said the duel continued, his eyes narrowed as he saw Kemo grab both Kelly and Mokuba roughly away from the others.

"Ha ha ha! Yugi, you gotta admit for a stiff, this Kaiba's sure got game!" Kemo said as held Mokuba above the ground under his left arm, and Kelly is over his right shoulder. Both of them struggling against his hold.

"Let us go, you pig!" Kelly yells, kicking Kemo's chest and punching his back with her fists.

"THAT'S NOT MY BROTHER!" Mokuba shouts, he tries to look towards The Spirit. "Yugi, you know that's not him. Everyone thinks he's a bad guy, but I know my brother, and he's not mean like this. He's my best friend in the world. That thing's not him! Uhhh! You just gotta believe me!"

"He's right!" Kelly added. "Seto's mean, but he's not this mean! Seto's never been this mean!" She struggled harder in Kemo's grip.

"Magical Hats!" The Spirit shouts, placing a magic card onto the field. "Conceal the Dark Magician." Top hats with question marks appear on the field to conceal the monster.

"Huh?" Carbon Copy looks at the hats.

"He's under there somewhere, but which one?" The Spirit questioned.

"Hmm. Are you so desperate that you have your Dark Magician doing a simple hat trick?"

"It's not a trick and it's not so simple. You're move, but you'd better think twice before you choose. Just do the math. 4 hats, only 25% chance you'll find the Dark Magician. The real question is, what else is hiding beneath those hats?"

"Way to go, Yugi!" Joey shouts. "That's what I like to call pullin one outta your hat!"

"Alright!" Mokuba gasps.

"You were right about the password." Said the computer as the doors of the virtual fortress opens. "The virtual is unlocked. We now have access to Yugi's data, and it was just his turn."

"Pegasus thinks he can make up all the rules in this game, but he could never have imagined the brand new twist." Seto said. "I'm back!"

At the island. Carbon Copy and The Spirit were staring each other down. "Hmm, so predictable. I know where the Dark Magician hides."

"If you're so sure, then move."

"It's a shame this duel's going to end soon." Carbon Copy said. "White Lighting!"

Blue Eyes White Dragon fires its attack at one of the four hats, but the Dark Magician wasn't there.
