D'Vike Umvure, the son of Shuri and Jack, was an inquisitive 16-year-old with a thirst for knowledge and adventure. When a Skurl Ner visited them to ask if D'Vike would like to join the Galactic Protectors, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for the young man to explore the universe and learn about different species.
At first, Shuri was hesitant, worrying that her son was too young to take on such a responsibility. But Jack, ever the optimist, saw the potential in the offer and insisted that D'Vike should take the chance.
D'Vike was thrilled at the prospect of joining the Galactic Protectors and told his parents that he wanted to do something that was all his own. He felt that this experience would give him the opportunity to be independent and explore his own capabilities.
