Now in this one it's the final part between Garu and Dante let's see whose burst mode is the strongest?
Now in this one will be a bit dark at end of the fight and also Garu's fate will be revealed in the next chapter.

Chapter 33: storms and raging spirits of fury part 3 the conclusion
'last time, Ash and the others faced off against Garu and the Dark Arbok after saving a Teddiursa and a shiny Scyther and Max was sent back to the Pokémon center to get the police and they split up to take them on. May and Brock were able to defeat Fox and the other goons and Ash and Dante defeated Garu and his pokémon with some help from Machop and the forest pokémon that were living there, but Garu refused to admit defeat and used a jewel to activate burst mode and merged with Rhydon to gain power and Dante let another of his personality to come out, Bishop and they had some trouble but in the process May's Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto and Ash's Aron evolved into Larion but when after May and Ash got hurt in the process and Bishop decided there's one way to beat Garu and he knew Dante would be pissed later but there was no choice, so he conjured up a dark purple crystal and did burst mode with Haunter and now he's in burst mode ghost armor and now the final battle is about to begin.'
Both of them charged towards each other and then extended their fists and collided and made a shockwave that send them flying back skating across the ground and then stopped.
"Dante it's time to end this." Said Garu.
"Agreed." Said Bishop.
Garu clapped his hands together and formed a staff that had Rhydon's drill on the top and Bishop smashed his fists together and formed Haunter's claws (like Wolverine's claws) which was attached to his hands.
"let's go." He said.
The two charged and their final battle begins.
Cue the legend of Zelda twilight princes Ost: Ganondorf
Lightning flashes across the sky as the two fought.
Bishop was able to get a couple of hits in with Shadow punch, but Garu was able to get some hits in with rock slide and fire punch.
Bishop growled from the damage he took, he retracted the claws on his right and moved fast and avoided another rock slide and got in close and used Ice punch and landed a blow in Garu's gut, dealing a lot of damage to him
Garu hissed from the damage he took and so he channeled his energy into the staff and spun it off and then struck the ground for the move Earthquake.
Bishop then jumped in the air out of the way, he was glad that Haunter's ability was levitate and was able to avoid the attack, but Ash, Larion and Pikachu were in trouble, worry for them, he use psychic to lift them away from the attack and them put them back down and Larion kept its protect going but was feeling the strain.
'hold on Larion keep that protect going.' Bishop thought.
In anger Bishop fired dark purple lasers with red outlines from the helmet using night shade, but Garu dodged it and use rock slide and landed a hit.
Bishop was annoyed and decided to use Shadow Ball and fired the shadowy blob from his hand and it struck Garu sending him into the woods and crashed through 8 trees.
Bishop panted hard, he used a lot of energy for the attacks and can sense that 3 minutes had passed.
"Damn, Garu is really tough especially in burst mode, but we dealt a lot of damage on him but we only have 7 minutes left before I lost control and I need to end this quickly but even I took a lot of damage and can't keep this up for long, I wished there was a way to not only drain Garu but also heal at the same time." He said.
Just then as if hearing Haunter appeared in his mind telling him there was a move that can do that.
"Are you sure Haunter? We have to make the attack count or we're screwed." Said Bishop.
Haunter nodded and started glowing green and so was Bishop back in the real world.
"Let's do this." He said.
Garu regain his footing and came charging back and this time he spun the staff to build up electricity and then fired a Thunder attack at Bishop.
"Ha I win!" he shouted.
But Bishop smirked.
"No you lose." He said.
And using his powers, Bishop avoided the attack and got behind Garu and grabbed him by the shoulders.
"What?!" shouted Garu.
"Now it's time for a new move, Giga Drain!" shouted Bishop.
Bishop glowed green and so was Garu, he felt his energy being drained and the energy was being transfer to Bishop who was healing and regaining his strength.
Garu was losing his energy and decided to make Bishop and used Shockwave to get him off.
Bishop felt the pain and let go, but was able to absorb a lot of Garu's energy and healed himself.
Now there was five minutes left.
Garu was panting very hard and decided to end this with one final shot.
"Take this Dante Hyper Beam!" he shouted and fired an orange and yellow beam from the staff.
"Tch." Bishop click his tongue.
He then dodged and then got in close deliver a powerful ice punch in the abdomen and then channeling his power and he deliver a very powerful shadow punch where the Jewel was on Garu and then pulled it off of him.
"WHAT NO!" Garu shouted in despair.
"Game over." Said Bishop.
He then used his strength and crushed the jewel into tiny pieces.
Garu then felt the energy going out of control as he backed up, he felt it building up and then he started glowing into a bright white light and screamed.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Bishop had to shield his eyes when the light faded, Garu was on the ground and so was his Rhydon batter, bruised and defeated.
"Sorry Garu but I win." Bishop said.
(end music)
Bishop was panting very hard, he hadn't fought this hard in ages, he placed his hand on the center of the armor where his jewel said these words.
"Burst mode disengaged."
He then was enveloped in a purple light and was separated into himself and Haunter.
"Ugh not doing that again for a while." He said.
Garu then regained consciousness and slowly got up.
"This is not over." He said. "Rhydon get up and end this."
But Rhydon didn't get up, it was too injured and drained to move, let alone attack.
"Rhydon get up!" shouted Garu.
But the drill pokémon didn't it was panting hard and trying to rest, then Garu did something that pissed Bishop off.
He pulled out a gun and aimed it at Rhydon.
"Damn Pokémon that don't do as I say is useless and must be eliminated." He said.
"Haunter use Psychic!" shouted Bishop.
Haunter did so and removed the gun from Garu's hand and then destroyed it.
Bishop then tackled Garu to a tree and held him there and held his fist out and growled.
Garu whimpered and closed his eyes and Bishop relented but not before pulling Garu close to him.
"Never come back." He growled.
Garu nodded.
Bishop let him go but not before grabbing his right arm and with the right amount of strength he crushed the bone in Garu's right arm making him scream.
Then Bishop took Garu's Pokéballs and then crushed them releasing them from his grip.
"Haunter use Psychic and get this damn fool out of my sight, I don't want to see him again." Said Bishop.
Haunter then did that and lifted Garu and with one blast send him flying far, far, far away and over the horizon.
Bishop then took a deep breath as he send what happened back to Dante as he went back to the subconscious part of his mind.
"Damn it Bishop I told you that was dangerous." Said Dante.
"Oh shut up Dante, I had no choice, but I will tell you that Garu has been dealt with and don't worry I won't use that technique again for a while, but you and Ash better get back to get healed and I have a real bad feeling that we will encounter something very dangerous." Bishop said.
"Ok then, thanks for the help, now get some rest." Dante told him.
"Right then, back in the driver seat for you." Said Bishop.
Bishop was gone and Dante was back, he placed the eye patch back on him.
"Come on Haunter, let's get Ash to safety." Dante told him.
Haunter nodded and went with him.
They came up to Ash, Pikachu and Larion who was about to pass out.
"Larion you can stop using Protect, it's over, Garu is gone." Said Dante.
Larion dropped the protect and exhale and then passed out.
"Good job Larion you did good." Said Dante.
Just then they heard the sirens and saw Brock coming in with May on his shoulders, Crobat, Machop and Officer Jenny and the cops came over.
"About time." He said.
He then passed out and fell to the ground with Haunter making sure he's ok.
Soon Officer Jenny and the cops arrested Fox and the goons of the Dark Arbok, they took their Pokémon to be treated and once healed they be sent back into the wild.
Ash, May, Dante were taken back to the Pokémon center where Max was waiting and Machop decided to tag along to make they were ok and the rest of the dark Arbok were taken to jail.
The doctors came to examine them and Nurse joy took care of their Pokémon as they rest and healed, Machop told the forest Pokémon to patrol around the center and so did Haunter and Crobat.
Brock and Max stayed and made sure to keep an eye on them and helped out Nurse Joy and Max made sure to keep Brock focused on the job.
It was only 3 days later when Dante woke up, he was greeted by his Haunter and Crobat who were happy to see he was ok.
"Thanks guys." He told them.
Then Haunter used Psychic to move some stuff around including a Pokéball and Pokédex and then turning it on showing an image of Gengar.
"Haunter are you telling me you want to become Gengar?" asked Dante.
"Haunt, Haunter." It said answering him.
Dante thought for a moment, Haunter raises a good point, they were lucky that survive that battle and even learning moves like Ice punch and giga drain helped, but even as strong as Haunter is, there's only so much it can do as it is, so becoming a Gengar seems to be the choice.
But everyone knew that Haunter evolves into Gengar by trading.
"I better ask Brock." He said.
He then recalled his Pokémon and catch his things and then got his clothes on and went to the main lobby where Brock and Max were.
"Hey guys." He called out to them.
Brock and Max saw Dante and he was awake.
"Dante you're ok." Said Brock.
"Yeah a little banged up but alright." Replied Dante.
"How's Ash and May?" asked Max.
"I don't know but let's go check on them." He said.
The 3 of them went to check on Ash and May and when they got to their rooms, they were awake being examined by the doctors who told them they were good to go but one more day of rest wouldn't hurt and they packed their stuff and left.
They went over to them and were glad they were alright.
Ash was filled in on what happened and was told that Garu and the dark Arbok are finished and also May's Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto and his Aron evolved in Larion.
"Whoa and what about Teddiursa and Scyther?" Ash asked.
"They're doing ok." Said Nurse Joy coming with Pikachu and their Pokémon.
Pikachu ran up to Ash and he hugged him, Larion came up and jumped onto bed with Ash and he petted it, Pidgeotto flew to May and let her pet it.
Soon Teddiursa, Scyther and Machop came over to them.
"I'm glad you're all ok and Machop thanks for your help." Said Ash.
The Pokémon nodded.
"So Nurse Joy what will happen to Teddiursa and Scyther?" asked Max.
Nurse Joy was filled in on what happened and like the others she too was angry at the dark Arbok and felt sad for Teddiursa and Scyther.
Then an idea popped into Dante's head.
"Well why not Ash catches them?" he said.
"What do you mean?" asked May.
"Well if Ash catches them, not only they have someone they can trust, but they can be at Oak's lab where they can be cared for and also they can have a home to live and not be attacked by poachers." Explained Dante. "But the choice is theirs to make."
Ash looked to them and can see they were scared, angry and hesitant, but slowly he got up and approached them, and then sit down and waited.
Teddiursa went first and went to Ash and jumped into his lap and relaxed, Scyther approached Ash carefully and looked into his eyes and can see that Ash had the power to help and protect, so it kneeled in front of Ash and surprisingly so did Machop.
"Looks like they trust you Ash." Said Brock.
"So you 3 want me to be your trainer?" asked Ash.
They nodded.
Of course Machop went to the window and told its friends farewell and they went back to the woods.
Ash then placed Teddiursa on the floor and Dante handed him 3 Pokéballs, a premier ball, a net ball and a Pokéball has a green top decorated with four red dots slanting toward the center button on both sides of the vertical mid-line on the top half and a gold dot near the "top" part of the ball's top half as seen from the front.
"A friend ball." Said Ash.
"Ok are you 3 ready?" asked Ash.
They nodded.
"Ok then, Premier, Net and Friend balls go!" said Ash throwing them.
The premier ball hit Teddiursa, the net ball got Scyther and the Friend ball got Machop.
They all went inside the balls and they landed on the floor, moving around and making whirring noises and flashing red on the buttons and kept going for a few seconds until they stopped moving with a chime meaning they were caught with a red light on the buttons since Ash had 6 Pokémon already.
"Alright I got Teddiursa, Scyther and Machop!" said Ash with Pikachu doing the victory sign.
"Nice Job Ash." Said Dante.
Ash then picked up the Pokéballs and said "Welcome to the family."
He then went to get his Pokédex and then pushes a white button that send all 3 Pokéballs to Professor Oak's lab.
"So now what?" asked May.
"Well until we get the all clear from the docs, I say we stay here for one more day and then head out for Lavender town." Advised Dante.
The others agreed.
"Ok well let's go tell Professor Oak what happened." Said Ash.
Soon Ash, May, Max, Pikachu, Larion, Pidgeotto and Nurse Joy left the room and Brock was about to head out as well when Dante spoke up.
"Hey Brock do you have a moment, we need to have a little talk." Dante said in a serious tone.
Brock heard the seriousness in Dante's voice and decided to stay back and closed the door.
"Ok so what do you want to talk about." He asked.
The air between the two started to grow a bit tense.
'Well that was unexpected, first Garu was defeated and the Dark Arbok arrested, then after having a chat with Haunter, Dante knew what to do and went to ask Brock something, also Ash has captured Teddiursa, the Shiny Scyther and Machop as they were recovering and were filled in on what happened. But what will our heroes do? Find out as the journey continues.'

Ok that ends this long, pain in the ass and overdue chapter.

Now then time to go over some things.
First off as of between the 4 chapters, Ash has captured a male Nidoran, Teddiursa, a shiny Scyther and a Machop, all of them staying at Oak's lab and I bet the professor is surprised that Ash has caught a lot of rare Pokémon and it will be helpful for his work and well he'll tell Ash an update on the egg his Butterfree brought.
Also May's Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto and learned Mirror Move and Ash's Aron evolved into Larion and learned Protect.
Now for the next chapter Dante's Haunter evolves into Gengar.
Also Garu's fate will be revealed in the next chapter.

Now then I need to clarify one thing, the person that Brock will be hooking up will Lucy of the battle pike and I'm not changing my mind about that.
Now then I will say this, there will be one lemon in this story, but I ain't saying who until ch36 and No it won't be Ash and May, not until vol2 or 3 and the one year time skip.
Now before I end this chapter I got one question, for 2 of Ash's Pokémon Tauros and Muk, which 3 moves should they learn next?

Also I know Haunter didn't learn ice punch until gen4 but since May and James caught Munchlax and Mime Jr. which are gen 4 Pokémon I thought why not.
Now then I will say this the burst mode won't come up as much, but only in necessary moments.
