He died, he thinks, confused, before his eyes shut again, and he begins forgetting. Beldorion dies, but hundreds of cycles earlier, young Bel begins dreaming of the future.

In one universe, the Clone Wars happen later, long after Anakin and Padme have married in secret, after their twin children, Luke and Leia, have been born. In one universe, the Clone Wars break out when the Skywalker twins are teenagers. While Luke joins Anakin on the battlefield, Leia fights from her throne on Naboo, and only time can tell what their fates will be.

This is a fan-created project to expand the Junior Reader Jedi Prince series from the Star Wars Expanded Universe/Star Wars Legends into a full, adult-length, novel similar to the books of the original Thrawn Trilogy. Anakin is six when his younger brother, Jacen Skywalker, is born, and Jacen is three when the Jedi come to Tatooine. Taken to the Temple to become a Jedi, Jacen quickly becomes close friends with Ahsoka. It's a friendship that will have a long-lasting impact on the galaxy, whether for better or worse.
