Sergeant Forge appears in Halo Wars 2 multiplayer mode after being killed off at the end of the original Halo Wars. In game terms he's simply another leader to be used and to have fun with. But I wondered what could be the story behind his reappearance. At the moment I'd say this is a one-shot.

He noticed again how quiet his room was; how every creak or click of the vents seemed horribly loud; and how harsh his breathing suddenly was inside his own head.

It is mainly about the Spartan Kyle Morgan, who 2nd leader in Ghost team, as he goes through losing people, he plays a crucial role in the Battle in East Africa, (Halo 3). (please only read the Text that makes sense, that is the actual story part)

This story is base off Halo Legends "The Dual", but a twist in the story as Arbiter takes care a human child before he lost his wife and his life as he trains the child to fight and survive.

This story will fallows Spartan Fire Team Eagle through the Human-Covenant war.
