"Toshinori-san!"
All Might jumped as a voice pierced his recollections and he glanced down to look into apprehensive blue eyes staring up at him, "Ha! What is it, Young Kagome?" He grinned his famous smile.
"You have just been looking into blank space for the last five minutes," Kagome turned away with a light flush, unable to gaze at such brightness since he was not Hawks, "I have been calling your name..."
"Just thinking about the past! Nothing to worry about," All Might ruffled Kagome's hair before gently placing a single finger on her cheek to turn her to face him again, "Tell me truthfully, Kagome. Are you happy with Hawks?" He asked, causing her to blink in surprise, "I may be officially 'retired', but I am more than happy to take you on as an apprentice."
Kagome's hand instantly covered her face to hide the redness that she was sure was visible against her pale skin, 'Why is he like this?' She thought, 'And why do I react this way?'
Kindness was a powerful thing.
"I am thankful for your offer," Kagome finally said after a moment to regain herself, "But I am content where I am. I don't think Hawks would give up so easily on his mission."
"So I thought," All Might shrugged with a smile, "But I will always welcome you, Young Kagome~!" He let out a breath and steam started to emit from his large body until he shifted back to his true form.
"I... have an offer for you," Kagome glanced down at the floor, fingers rubbing nervously together, "Only if you wish, Toshinori-san, I welcome you into my pack. It is like a family with structures of its own kind," She looked forward, evaluating him, "Even in this pitiful form, you are an Alpha, a leader."
"That's... interesting," All Might looked a little taken back, "I'm not sure I'd do well in such a 'family'," He rubbed his head sheepishly, "Especially if I can only fight in your presence, Young Kagome."
"It's simply an offer," Kagome closed her eyes, "You may take it or reject it. You can answer at a later time. Youkai packs are not for everyone," She stated, "Is this what you wanted to talk about, Toshinori-san?"
"Yes," All Might nodded, "I wanted to see if you had any lasting trauma. It appears to be minimal." He said to himself, mostly in relief.
"It's not the first time," Kagome abruptly said as her eyes unfocused and she could almost see a misty haze-like substance all around, "It was– the Shichinintai, Mukotsu." Her chest froze as soon as the name came from her lips and she was suddenly falling forward.
"Kagome!" All Might caught the unconscious girl, "What's wrong?!" He took hold of her, completely clueless as to what happened, but something obviously did trigger it.
Someone named Mukotsu.
"What the hell did you do?!" Hawks was already there and All Might glanced out of the corner of his eye, spotting a feather way up in the corner and nearly sighed, "What the hell did you say to her that you would get her to faint!?"
"Have you ever heard of anyone named Mukotsu?" All Might asked, shaking his head with a smile as Hawks took Kagome from his arms as gently as he could, "Or the Shichinintai?"
"I... never." Hawks frowned, rather puzzled since he was nearly up to date on every major criminal and criminal organization and even the middle-ranked ones, "Is it something I need to know about?"
"Young Kagome said that name and then fell unconscious," All Might stated, looking troubled, "She may not be past her trauma yet," He rubbed his forehead, looking away from Hawks' intense golden eyes that were glowing brighter by the second, "She... Kagome was sexually assaulted on the mission where I met her. I am afraid that this 'Mukotsu' may have done the same." He looked grim at Hawks' horrified expression before the No. 2's anger exploded.
"I'll kill them!"
