Zhu Yingtai's POV:
Yenzing and I finally returned home, but we had surprise visitors.
"Yingtai," says my Father, "this is Ma Jie." I know that name from somewhere and then I saw Ma Wencai.
"My son has taken quite an interest in your daughter," says Ma Jie, "that is why I ask that we join our families and unite the two in marriage."
"You expect our parents to agree to this," asks Zhu Guo, my older twin brother.
"Are you saying my son is not good enough for her," asks Ma Jie. Then we see him picking his nose and then eating his booger. "Okay, I can see why you'd think that... but you don't realize what this could mean for both our families!"
I then stood up. "Lord Jie, while I am flattered," I said, "I'm afraid your son and I are not right for each other. I am sure he will find someone that can love him no matter what, but my heart belongs to another."
"What happened at that school," asks Guo.
Ma Jie then laughs. "No wonder my son likes you," says Ma Jie, "I like you. Listen, I get it, he told me about this... what was his name again?"
"His name's Lian Shanbo," says Ma Wencai.
"Right... if you don't agree to this union, then it could mean death for your family!"
"That's harsh," says Yenzing.
