Please remember that my first language is not English. And I don't own Warhammer 40k.
What can I do, I still have no Medic Skill or anything. I looked down at Hollie lying in pain in the small space the hole led to. It wasn't even a vent, just a little space to take cover in.
"Hey Hollie, I need to check your wound, ok".
She didn't answer and just gave me a weak nod. I was as slow and careful as I could as I pulled up her toga so I could see her stomach, and it didn't look good.
"Hey Bartellophis, can I have some light?".
Instead of answering, part of his face was illuminated by what appeared to be a flashlight. I took his head and shined them at Hollie's stomach and it glistened, the wound glistened where they had burned her stomach.
I don't know much about wounds, but I think when it's wet it's not good. I checked a few times and saw that there was some blood coming from the wound where her stomach had opened up, it wasn't open, but it wouldn't take much before it would.
"Bartellophis, do you know what we should do?"
#I'm sorry David, I know how to replace an arm or organ with machines, but I have no idea how to heal flesh, I've never had to heal skin before, and I don't have the tools to sew her stomach together#
Fuck… How, there's only one thing I can figure out what to do now, come back to them later, after all. The System as if it knew what I was thinking opened a window on what I wanted to know.
[Dungeon Quest: The Forgotten Tomb of Tzeentch]
A Dungeon, a Tomb, a Maze, The Forgotten Tomb of Tzeentch is all of them and more. You must now help Ron lead your group through it or die trying. But with great risk comes great reward, for The Forgotten Tomb of Tzeentch holds long-forgotten lore and artifacts that many would kill for, especially those seeking great psyker powers.
Forgotten lore and artifacts, if I can find one of those that can help her, I have no idea my chances of finding one, especially one that can help Hollie, but I'll try anyway.
I looked down the hole and saw that almost all the liquid is gone.
"Bartellophis, I'll see if I can find anything to help, I'll be back," I said as I blinked until the statue became something I could climb down on.
#What? Don't you know how little chance there is of one of the group's Medics being around?#
"That's not what I was talking about."
#WHAT!, I thought you knew about demons, anything you'll find here can only make this worse, and don't even get me started on trying to make a deal with a demon!#
"Yes, but that's the only chance she has," I said before jumping down and climbing down the statue as Bartellophis scream admittedly painfully curses about "Mine Kind".
The floor wasn't wet, but that won't make me not be careful where I go anywhere, I don't want to set off the trap again. I walked down the hall with determined steps because I knew where I was going. I went up to the large closed stone door.
If there's one place I should start looking, it's here, but how do I get in?.
I looked up at the door and realized it had the same altered words I saw in the first room. I started by trying to read them, but I didn't understand anything, so I checked to see if there was a trick to opening the dorr. After a couple of minutes I couldn't find anything and looked back at the door. I stood and looked at it again, hoping that something would happen or that I would get an idea, after looking at the same place for a couple of minutes I realized something, they meant almost the same thing.
Match, game, play, boardgame.
In one place it says the same thing in different words or different ways, so if I can know what the meaning is, and what I can understand what it is supposed to mean.
A, the, about, them, there.
Great, amazing, extraordinary, widespread.
Match, game, play, boardgame.
I looked at the words and realized a sentence that I can find here that is linked with Tzeentch. "The Great Game".
As I said those words the door began to open and I was able to enter the apparently important door because a window comes up to me.
[Note. You have reached the heart of The Forgotten Tomb of Tzeentch. You can now leave the Dungeon to complete the Dungeon]
[Note. The Dungeon Quest: The Forgotten Tomb of Tzeentch is not completed and will not be until Ron is out and all rewards will be given then]
So in other words, I've completed the dungeon, but because I have a Dungeon Quest right now I can't get any of the rewards? I wouldn't have expected anything else.
I headed for the door, power sword in hand in case I found the boss room, not that it matters with my Hp.
[Note. Your Hp is 3/17]
You really don't need to show it to me.
What I had expected to find in a room with the password was The Great Game was a boss or a treasure room, but I didn't expect an empty room with a crystal floating in a light pillar coming from above in the room, it is completely empty otherwise. If that crystal isn't something that can help Hollie, I won't have many options left.
I walked up to the crystal and for a second thought about what to do if it's another trap, and then I ignored it and took it anyway. Immediately the room went black and I couldn't see anything.
Shit, my flashlight got burned with everything else before, I really hope the power sword is like a lightsaber or I'm going to have a problem.
[Note. You have acquired afragments of Tzeentch]
THE FUCK!? I HAVE A FRAGMENT OF WHAT?
Before the System could answer, a blue light filled the room and an indescribable pressure came over me and a voice was heard across the room and in my soul.
"Who is it that has acquired a shard of me that P'tarix and Xirat'p hadn't managed to find yet?"
The voice went into my soul, into my head, a power that was unimaginable. Those words, this feeling, and where we are, I can only imagine that it could only be one person, or god, but I refuse to believe it. Tzeentch.
"So mortal, answer my questions, how did you manage to find this place and the shard?"
I didn't know what to do, I had no plans to meet one of the Chaos Gods, and definitely didn't talk to one. I couldn't even look that way in horror of what will happen if I do, but I can't refuse to answer a question from a Chaos Gods so there's nothing I can do against it until I figure something out.
[Note. Ny Quest: The Wait]
Tzeentch Chaos Gods of Change has opened a portal in front of you, but the connection can only last so long. Wait out the time without getting killed.
[Reward: Skill Lore of Change]
1.34
[Note. Bunus Quest. Lura Tzeentch. Reward: one Legendary Skill, 1000 xp]
First, now I know how to survive this. The other, HOLY PENIS OF JESUS, those are rewards.
"Answer me now or has your consciousness disappeared due to my presence".
"I can talk! I can think and answer your questions".
"Then answer them".
"You see… The group I'm with found the entrance here, and I got lost after being attacked by your Horrors". Wait, your Horrors, does it sound like I'm accusing him now? Wait, I'm overthinking it.
"Yes, my minions were drawn towards this Temple when it activates, probably to betray me and take the power of the fragments for themselves, or sacrifice it to me for my blessing".
"Temples? I thought this was a Dungeon?" I immediately realized that I said it out loud and dungeon was something the System called it, and I have no idea if he knows about it.
"A Dungeon, I guess a primal creature can see it like that, no. What you hold is a piece of me from long before your time, the corruption from it made this place and served as a beacon to me and my underlings".
Before I answered, I looked at the clock, which remained a little to the right down to the left in my view.
1.09
"I see, so I helped you. It's good, I'm one who likes to help," I said nervously trying to waste time.
"Yes, you definitely helped me, you have earned a reward".
Oh no. From what I know about him, tentacles everywhere are a reward, or any change possible, but certainly something I won't like. "Oh, you don't have to, I'm just happy to help".
"Mortal, you have found something that has been beyond me for a while and none of my underlings could find it, you have earned a reward, so I will make your body perfect".
OH FUCK. That's not good, that's not good at all, I have to distract him, but how? Tzeentch is a god of secrets if I remember correctly? Can I use it against him? "I would appreciate it, but I would much rather have information then something physical".
"So, you seek knowledge, so what can I, the one who keeps all secrets, offer you as a reward".
Ok, that's good, he won't mutate me anymore, but what should I ask for.
52
There's less than a minute left, what can I ask him so he'll talk for a while? If I ask him how to get strong he'll probably mutate me so I need something else, wait I know! "How can I help Hollie".
"You ask how you can help your friend, there are two ways, but that's because she has two problems".
"Two? Which two?"
"Firstly she is injured and her wounds will get infected soon, secondly she has been cast out from her family because of something wrong with her body, which one do you want to know about?".
Ok that gave me a little problem, a "something wrong with her body" could be many things, but I don't know what it is. It could be something that will be dangerous in the future but her life is in danger now. Plus, he's known as Father of Lies and Deception so he mye be trying to trick me with the other one. "tell me how I can help with the wound on her stomach".
"You'll probably need to get her to the camp by carrying her back out where you came from, but before you get to the ravine there's a door on the right that will lead you closer to the exit. You can also cauterize her wound again".
"Ok, how do I cauterize her wound again," I asked as I checked the time again.
40
"You can force a Horror to do it, but the easy way is you accept my gift so you can use my fire for it, I can also give you the gift to fix all her problems with the body and everyone else too".
Well, that's sus as fuck. Ok how do I decline without getting mutated.
"All you have to do is give me the crystal and everything you want will be yours".
I looked down at my hand that had almost automatically reached out to Tzeentch without me noticing. It was cold but power almost radiated from it, you can really feel it is a piece of a god and a mortal like me shouldn't even look at it, especially not hold it. Wait, why do I think that? No no no, this is one of his mind games.
"No".
The words came out without me thinking about it and The Chaos God reacted.
"No? Do you dare say no to me, the Changer of Ways, Great Conspirator and Weaver of Destinies".
"Um, yeah," I said, not knowing what I was doing or what to do now.
31
"I've had enough of this, I won't let your deceit continue any longer".
"My deceit?"
"Do you think I haven't noticed! That the portal is unstable and will be closed soon! I've deceived entire races and empires before, the smartest sorcerer in all of creation, do you think you can fool me! But I have to admit that I'm impressed that you managed to figure out that the portal is going to close because I can't find any way for you to know that, but I can feel that you know it, to the exact second, so give the crystal to me now before I stretch your mind over half of the warp".
The fuck, he knows about it! Of course he knows, he is a god of Knowledge. Wait, he doesn't know about how I know, does that mean he doesn't know about the System? "What do you know about the System," I asked without thinking of the consequences.
"System, what system? Have you gone crazy yet? No I can feel that you still have your reason".
Ok, he doesn't know, that's fine, I can use that.
26
"Now give it to me, this is your last chance". The pressure in the room became indescribable, it gave me a headache of a kind I've never had before, and that's when I knew it was time to trick him.
"Can you remember my last words?".
"Well then!, I'm going to write your last words of someone who failed to deceive me and someone who managed to find some of my power that I lost so long ago".
I opened my mouth to say something, but before I could say anything, I used my Inventory Skill and the crystal disappeared from my hand. "Huh, where did it go," I said in the best surprised voice I could and a silence of several seconds filled the room.
7
"What!? What, how, WHERE DID IT GO!? In all of creation, I cannot feel it, it is gone, I cannot feel it at all! Tell me what you did with it!"
6
"I don't know, it just disappeared".
5
"Don't try that on me! I can feel that you are deceiving me!"
4
"Have you asked Slaanesh, she may have taken it as a butt plug".
3
"If you're not going to tell me, I'll take it out of you." With that something started to drill into my head, not physically, but mental.

[Note. You have acquired the Skill [Resistance from Tzeentch Lv1]]
[Note. [Warp Resistance Lv1] has become [Warp Resistance Lv2]]

The portal closed, and I could hear the scream of The Chaos God echoes both in the room and in my head.
