For a moment, Ruby has no idea where she is. The soft dawn light coming in through the windows of Weiss' bedroom feels painfully bright after the darkness of her dream, and she squints slightly, still trying to get her bearings. "Ruby? How are you feeling?"

Right. They're hiding out at the Schnee manor, hoping that someone who saw the message they broadcast out will come to their aid. Ruby shakes her head, trying to clear out the cobwebs. "I'm okay."

It's not a lie, not really; she feels better than she did before she passed out, even if she's still a bit sore. Some of the tiredness has lifted. Even if the bone-deep feelings of exhaustion and fear and despair are still lingering underneath, unable to be fixed by something as simple as a few hours of sleep. But she can't afford to dwell on that now.

"Bad dream?" Blake asks. She doesn't look completely convinced by Ruby's response, but she doesn't push any further.

"Yeah." Ruby supposes that's one way to describe what she saw. Was that even a dream? What was it? But there's other things that she needs to focus on right now. Weird and disturbing dreams are kind of at the bottom of her list of priorities. "Are you and Weiss okay?"

"We're fine, Ruby," Blake reassures her. "We've been more worried about you."

"I'm fine now," Ruby insists. She has to be. There's no time right now for her to be resting, not with everything else that's going on? "What about Penny and Nora? Have you heard anything from the others?"

"Penny is still unconscious," Blake says quietly. "But there is some good news. Nora woke up earlier, and she seems to be doing better. She's still recovering, but she should be okay."

"I'm so glad she's finally awake." There hasn't been much to make Ruby smile lately, but knowing that Nora is doing better makes her feel like their situation is a little less hopeless. Nora is the most cheerful and encouraging person Ruby knows, a ray of sunshine even in their darkest moments.

"Me too." The shadows seem to clear a bit from Blake's face as she smiles slightly. "And as for the others, I got a call from Yang earlier. She and Jaune and Ren and Oscar are okay, and they're coming to meet us here. They're already on their way."

"Really?" It feels like some of the weight has been lifted from Ruby's chest, knowing that her sister and friends are okay. There's been a horrible anxiety gnawing at her since they separated, especially after she'd tried to call Yang and the call had failed. She's been so worried that something would happen to them while they were apart. "That's great!"

Part of her is a little anxious to see her sister again, though. What if Yang is still angry at her? The words her sister had thrown at her earlier when they'd argued are still echoing in her head. Honestly, Ruby wouldn't be surprised if Yang was still mad. It's not like Ruby has accomplished very much lately. Mostly she's just managed to mess up and get their friends hurt. Sure, the broadcast went out, but if no one ends up coming to help, that'll just be a dead end.

Yeah, Ruby wouldn't blame Yang if she wants to yell at her again.

She doesn't mention any of that to Blake, just sits up and swings her feet over the side of the bed. The quick movement makes her chest ache slightly, but she's pretty sure she manages to successfully hide her wince. "Well, let's not sit around up here any longer!" she says, trying for her usual cheerful smile. "Let's go!"
