Shortly afterwards, the meal was dismissed. The prefects got up to lead the people back to their houses. Fenrir idly wondered if Dumbledore or someone else would want to meet with him, however, no summons appeared, and he got up to join the rest of his house in the short trek to the dungeons.

He found it odd to be headed down when his instinct was to head up to the Gryffindor room. He kept his expression blank as he felt a little pang, just briefly.

They reached a solid stone wall in the dungeons, and the prefect leading them, Terrence Higgs, if his memory served, said loudly and clearly "Fraternity." The prefect went on to explain to the first years that the password would change every fortnight, and if they forgot it or neglected to get the new one from the noticeboard, they would be left outside until someone came to let them in.

The wall melted to the side, opening to a large room that was lit by lamps. The lamps emitted a greenish light, giving the entire room a green tinge. The room itself had lots of black and dark green leather chairs and couches spread throughout the interior. The walls were decorated with tapestries featuring people that Fenrir assumed were Slytherins. Part of the room had a giant window that looked out into the lake, and he could see the fish on the other side of the window, swimming around.

Once inside, he noticed the entire house remained gathered in the main room, rather than dispersing to their rooms. At that point, one of the prefects strode to the front of the first years. The prefect was one that Fenrir didn't recognize though he seemed to be in charge, so he assumed he was a seventh year.

"Alright. Listen up, you lot. I'm Lucian Bole. I'm the seventh-year prefect. You've been sorted into Slytherin. As such that comes with certain expectations and rules." He looked around at all the First years, who all shifted nervously, and then glanced over to Fenrir, who merely kept his face blank.

"First off, you represent our house now. As such you will not be late to any of your classes in the first month. The prefects will take turns guiding you to your classes for the first week to make sure you know where you're going." Lucian stopped waiting to see if there would be any questions before continuing.

"Secondly, you are never to go anywhere alone. Always go in pairs. Even to the bathroom." Lucian saw some confused expressions so he expanded. "We are Slytherin. There are some in other houses that would take advantage of one of us on our own. This we do not allow."

Once he got confirming nods, he continued, "Thirdly, if you are going to cause trouble or break the rules in any way, you better not get caught. If you get caught and cost this house any significant amount of points, you can expect there to be… repercussions within the house." Lucian glared at each one of the first years to make sure they understood. He once more looked over at Fenrir who continued to keep his face blank.

"Fourth, it doesn't matter what happens in here. Anything that happens in the Slytherin common room, and dormitories stays in the Slytherin common room. Anyone caught so much as gossiping about something that happens in here, much less running to a professor who is not our head of the house, is subject to severe punishment." After a pause to make sure his point sunk in, Lucian continued.

"Lastly, and most importantly Slytherin is one house. We present a united front at all times. If you have a problem with someone, you don't address it out there where the rest of the world can see. You deal with it in here where it doesn't go beyond the walls of this common room. We have a dueling pit for any disputes that need settled like that. Out there in the castle, you ALWAYS support one another. You never, ever show division to the other houses. We act together. This rule above all others will be followed or the consequences will be most severe. Are there any questions?" Lucian finished his speech with a question, though the tone of his voice made it clear that there had better not be questions.

After the reciting of rules, Flint along with his seventh-year mates and some prefects came forward surrounding him.

"Not so talkative now, are you Peverell?" Flint sneered taking his wand out at Fenrir. His companions followed the action.

"This is the house of Snakes Peverell. You won't be able to even take out your wand before you are put to your place." Lucian Bole, the prefect who was dictating the rules added "This will be find example of what happens when you don't follow the rules of our house."

Everyone was watching the spectacle with bated breath. Moments later, Fenrir laughed. His eyes started glowing as he spoke in a quiet but strong voice "You think I need my wand to face annoyances like you. Let's ssee who getss put in hisss placeee!" Fenrir finished in voice mixed with some hissing making everyone gasp.

The eyes of Snake in the main emblem of Slytherin started glowing green. It hissed loudly gaining attention of gathered students including Flint and his company. Slowly every decorative snake in the common room had their eyes glowing green and they were hissing loudly. One of the boys tried to go and fetch their house head but the door to common room refused to be opened. It's decorative snake hissing threateningly at anyone who tried to come near.

"What happened Flint? Ssswallowed your tounge?" It was Fenrir's turn to sneer.

One of Flint's companions launched a nasty curse at Fenrir before anyone could stop him. Fenrir moved his head to side dodging the curse. His rage increased and now his eyes looked like they would emit the killing curse anytime soon.

The snakes were agitated after the attack. The ones surrounding pillars left their spot to coil around Flint and company. Fenrir hissed and the Snakes tightened their grip. The offenders tried to beg but the snakes were in no mood to leave. Many of Flint's friends have wet their pants disgracing themselves further.

"Thisss wass your firsst offencee sso you may keep your livesss, but I will make it memorable sso you think thoussandss of timesss before even having the thoughts of repeating this disgrace."

Harry switches to parseltounge 'Break some of their bones and then return to your place!'

The snakes exerted more force suddenly and many cracks and screams were heard. Flint's leg was broken, one of the bones sticking through his flesh. Lucian's shoulder was crushed. Similar punishments were handed to Flint's followers.

Fenrir cast a silencing charm to muffle their screams as the snakes moved back to their positions, their eyes returning to normal. He turned to address the remaining Slytherin.

"Most of you have disgraced the name of Great Slytherin. It stops now. Where does the arrogance come from? Does it comes from deeds of your ancestors, who themselves were not even worthy enough to be spitted upon. You have nothing as your own accomplishments. You don't have better marks in examinations. You have never set the records for OWLs or couldn't even dream to equal the records in NEWTs. You haven't won a quidditch cup or house cup in 4 years. Few of you have any exceptional talents. Then where the hell does this arrogance originates. What gives you the privillage of acting like uncultured swine in shadow of so called Pure-blood grace? Every thing that makes you look bad in eyes of other will be stopped." Fenrir's aura increased and a moment later a snarling black wolf with green eyes could be seen towering him. "I SAID DID I MAKE IT CLEAR?"

"YES" The slytherins screamed, squeaked and some of them even stayed silent.

"You all can carry on with your tasks. I am not some kind of Dictator who will make you leave your life by my choices. But, if you do something that I don't agree with, we will have the debate. " Fenrir declared. He then pointed towards Flint and his company "If they are favored by anyone, you are free to take them to hospital wing. If not, leave them there for our Head of house to take care of," and started to move towards dorm to find his room. The students also started following his examples before a voice stopped him and others.

"W-Wait!" Fenrir turned around to see it was Draco Malfoy. He would have wondered if Malfoy was really that big of idiot and was coming to offer him the company of right sort of people, but dismissed it at paleness of already pale Malfoy's face.

Fenrir raised his eyebrow at Malfoy who gulped "A-Are you the heir of Slytherin?"

Fenrir let out a laugh and said "No, I am not. There are thousands of wizards capable of using Parseltounge. A bulk of them could be found in India. And I don't have Slytherin blood in me, atleast in my knowledge. So, keep it in mind. Not everyone who can exchange hisses with snake is from Slytherin line."

It wasn't a lie. He had Slytherin blood in him through his mother but that was before Death had given him new life. Now he was biologically son of Death and Magic, according to his new mother.

He then ignored everyone and went towards his Dormroom. The advantage of being Slytherin was single rooms per person unlike Gryffindor. He entered the room and shut the door, where a moment later, a black plate was conjured with name Fenrir Peverell engraved on it.
