Danny and Harp stood ready as the Armed Harpies charged at them. Some tried to swipe their hand talons at Harp, but she easily dodged. Some Armed Harpies tried to jump her, being careful not to hit the ceiling. Harp jumped back, dodging them. She knew that the Armed Harpies thought she could not fight due to the cave's low ceiling. Too bad for them, she had another way of fighting, thanks to her human father. She ducked under an Armed Harpy talon before punching with the joint of her wings. It was knocked back as the other Armed Harpies looked shocked. Harp smiles, holding the joints of her wings out like fists. While it's true she had hollow bones to let herself fly, her father did teach her how to fight without flying. A little style he called, boxing.

Danny knew this was his first time fitting harpies and was aware of a few things Harp told him. He could also tell they were more curious about what he was. However, they did try to attack them. Thanks to the ghost fighting he did back home, Danny could dodge the talons. Some Armed Harpies tried to stab him with the spears they had. Too bad for them, Danny could dodge and let any spear phase through his body.

"What in the Great Sky are you?!" One of them asked, seeing her spear phasing through his body.

"Me? I'm a Phantom." Danny said, punching her way.

Tucker and Sam stood behind the whole fight, watching both Danny and Harp fight off the Armed Hapies. Tucker knew Danny could handle them, but he was surprised to see Harp box the other harpies.

"Wow, she's good," Tucker said, watching.

Sam, on the other hand, wasn't impressed.

"So? Doesn't mean we should leave Danny to handle them." She said.

"Sam, don't. You know your animals. If harpies are anything like birds, their talons can and will kill you." Tucker said, knowing what she was thinking.

"And you think I'm going to let Danny stay with that harpy?" Sam said, breaking off a piece of stalagmite and started to use it as a club.

She ran towards another Armed Harpy before Tucker could stop her. She swings it, only for the Armed Harpy to grab it. Sam looked surprised before the Armed Harpy looked at her.

"Hmm, I'll have to tell the queen about you. Until then..." She said before slashing Sam with her talons.

Sam screams as blood few from her chest, knocking her away. The Armed Harpy was blasted away as Danny and Harp quickly ran up to her.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Harp yelled as Danny used a bit of his ice powers to stop the bleeding.

Sam hissed in pain as Tucker spoke for her.

"She wanted to help fight the harpies despite your warnings," Tucker said.

Harp glares at Sam before fighting off another Armed Harpy. Danny sighs.

"Sam, I told you that Harpies are not like ghosts! You can't just run into a battle head-first without a plan. Something you and Tucker told me many times before!" Danny told her.

Sam tried to say something, but she was still in pain from her scratches. Danny sighs before rejoining the fight with Harp.

"Sam, stop," Tucker said, seeing that she was trying to get up.

"W-We n-n-n-need t-to..." She started, holding her icy chest.

"We need to listen to Danny and Harp and stay out of this fight. And you need to put a lid on your jealousy before it gets you killed!" Tucker told her.

"I-I-I'm n-n-n-not..." Sam tried to say.

"Yes, you are. Danny told us everything. Even why he had sex with a bird-woman. If you're focusing on that and not the real reason, then you're jealous." Tucker told her.

"W-W-W-We can't l-l-l-let..." Sam started.

"Stop. It's Danny's choice. Accept it. Because if you don't, then maybe Danny is better off not being with you." Tucker told her.

Sam looked shocked before she turned back to Danny and Harp. Harp kept boxing with the Armed Harpies, surprising many with her fighting style. Danny didn't use a lot of his powers, but he did mess with them by letting their spears and talons phase through his body. It wasn't long before the last Armed Harp was standing, the others knocked out. She was stuck between fighting and fleeing.

"It's okay to run. Live to fight another day. And your friends are alive." Harp told her.

"The Queen will have your head!" The Armed Harpy shouted, rushing at her.

Harp sighs before back-winging the harpy, knocking her out.

"And they say Harp is stubborn." She said, shaking her head.

"How are your joints?" Danny asked, knowing she was punching with them.

"Nothing cracked. Wings can still bend." Harp said, testing her wing joints.

"I'm surprised you can box. How much did your father teach you?" Danny asked.

"Lots of things. Harp is more than a harpy after all!" She said, smiling.

"Now I really want to meet the man," Danny said, finding Harp's human father more interesting.

If he could teach a harpy how to be human, then Harp could fit in with some people in Amity Park. Once you get past the wings and talon feet, that is. Tucker carries Sam over, causing the goth girl to groan.

"So, what now?" Tucker asked.

"You need to take Sam home and get those scratches checked," Danny told him.

"And ensure they don't become infected," Harp added.

Sam wanted to argue, but Tucker spoke over her.

"Sure thing, dude. But what do you want me to tell the teachers? You're missing too many school days." Tucker asked him.

"Tell them...There was a family emergency, and it's taking a little longer than we thought. We can't answer any phones until it's done." Danny said since it wasn't a full lie.

"Danny..." Sam started.

"Sam, I warned you about fighting the harpies. They're not ghosts. I can fight them thanks to my powers and Harp's warnings of her species." Danny told her.

"So don't argue. We both want you to stay alive." Harp added.

Sam wanted to refuse, but her chest spoke for her, making her wince in pain.

"Go home, Sam," Danny told her, making Tucker sigh.

Tucker started to carry her out, ignoring her protests.

"You can't fight like that and you know it, Sam!" He told her as he climbed into the Specter Speeder.

It soon flew off, leaving Danny and Harp behind. Danny sighs, knowing that Sam was being too stubborn.

"Sorry about Sam, Harp." He said.

"It's fine. Harp's father told Harp that humans can be stubborn at times." Harp said.

"Yeah," Danny said, sighing.

He looked back at the Armed Harpies before turning back to Harp.

"We better go before they wake up," Danny said, making her nod.

With that, the two flew off, hoping to find Danny's family and save them from their fates.

Okay, not where I wanted to stop, but it has been a while since I last updated this. So, I kind of forgot what else I had planned. However, I am going to make one more lemon between Danny and Harp before they save his family. And look at that, Harp can box! Didn't see that coming, did ya? Unlike most of Harp's family line, she was the only one whose human father spent time with her. Not to say that others didn't try to visit their harpy wives and daughters. The mountains the Hapries lived at were far too dangerous to climb during those years. Dean is the first human to climb that mountain without any climbing gear.

Anyway, this will be the last time we'll see Tucker and Sam until the end of the story. Not sure what to do for the next chapter, but it's not going to be the lemon just yet. Maybe one last event before we start wrapping everything up and we learn how Danny's family will be saved from their Harpy forms and breeding.
