Before I disappeared I had the majority of this all typed up and I have an outline for Chapter 8. Now that I'm caught up in the manga I'm going to find a way to work around that. So much has gone on, it's been a crazy ride. It's given me a lot to work with, but I don't want to ruin anything.
I would also like to apologize for I think it was chapter 5. I gave out a warning that it had major spoilers of the Tartaros Arc but neglected to mention there would be references to the movie Dragon Cry and the last arc.
I noticed I flip between Bixlow and Bickslow for the spelling of his name. Whoops.
I used this chapter to try my hand at a fight scene.

Chapter 7
Time skip
The 100-year quest is finally done, and Team Natsu has made it back home. It was quite the adventure; one they will never forget. Even though there was no jewel reward, the knowledge that Lucy helped complete the 100-year quest is reward enough for her.
Lucy looks forward to her reunion with Laxus. She was not able to talk to him via communication lacrima often and while it was nice, it wasn't the same as being in person.
She notices on the whole trip back to the guild women are giving her dirty looks and men look upset. Some women look like they want to throttle her. She knows it is because of the article in Sorcerer Weekly that Laxus showed her. She ignores it though and focuses on getting to her destination with her friends.
Natsu kicks open the doors, sending them flying across the guild hall. Everyone stops what they are doing to see who had the audacity to kick their doors down and see Team Natsu standing in the doorway.
"Hey Everyone! We're back!"
Everyone starts cheering for them and gives them congratulations.
Lucy stands on her tip toes trying to see over everyone. She squeals when she is grabbed from behind. She spins around and jumps at him. He catches her, his hands on her ass. Her legs wrap around his waist, and she kisses him deeply. Everyone hoots and hollers. When the kiss goes on too long someone coughs. Lucy slides down and holds Laxus's hand. He leads her to the bar where Mira already has a strawberry milkshake waiting.
Lucy takes a drink and moans in pleasure. "Oh, Mira I have missed your milkshakes."
Laxus leans over to whisper in Lucy's ear, "you better be careful with the sounds you're making." He then takes a drink of the beer Mira set in front of him. "Thanks Mira."
"You're welcome Laxus."
They hear Romeo ask Natsu what the 100-year quest was like. The group tells the guild what they can about their adventure.
Natsu and Gray get into a fight. Lucy sees that Erza has a slice of cake and decides to break up the fight before they piss Erza off. She gets up and gives each of them a Lucy Kick in the face, causing them to fly across the guild into the wall. Juvia rushes to her Gray-Sama's side fretting over him and Lisanna shakes her head and laughs at Natsu.
What Lucy does not realize until it's too late is that she bumped into the table, and it caused Erza's cake to fall onto the floor. She feels a fuming aura behind her. Her survival instincts kick in and she quickly pulls out her fleuve d'etoiles. When she whips it, it extends long enough so the end coil can wrap around a beam. She uses it to swing herself on top of said beam.
"Lucy! Get down here this instant!" Erza yells.
"No! I don't want to die!"
"You've given me no other choice Lucy. You will face punishment!" Erza requips into her Heaven's Wheel armor.
Lucy runs along the beams managing to keep her balance while she dodges Erza's attack leaning to the side as a sword goes whizzing by her. She lowers her body position and a sword flies over her. She jumps up and almost hits her head on another beam. Thankfully, she has not been hit yet, all of the swords hitting everything else around her. The beam she is on is near the Raijinshu's table and not even thinking she jumps off of it and onto one of Bixlow's totems to use as a springboard.
"Oi! What the hell Cosplayer?" Bixlow yells and then laughs because this is pretty entertaining.
Lucy ignores him, he is the least of her worries right now. She summons Virgo as she is doing a flip and lands on the bar.
"Punishment time Princess?"
Lucy doesn't even respond to that, "Virgo can you get Erza a big piece of strawberry cake?"
"Of course, Princess." And Virgo disappears.
"Lucy! You will pay for ruining my most prized treat!" Erza yells. One of Erza's swords hits Cana's beer barrels.
"Hey! That is alcohol abuse!" Cana shouts.
Virgo pops up in front of Erza. "Princess is very sorry and has asked me to give you this." A piece of strawberry cake the size of Nab lands right in front of Erza. Erza has stars in her eyes at the sight of it. Virgo goes over to Cana and hands her a beer barrel twice the size of the one she had. "Please don't punish Princess but you may punish me."
Everyone just stares at Virgo, Lucy takes her key and closes Virgo's gate, shaking her head.
Cana's eyes go comically wide and takes a swig from her beer barrel, "Damn! That is the best beer I have ever had."
"Yeah, both are made by Virgo." Lucy turns around to look at the rest of the guild. They are all silent, jaws dropped. Lucy reaches her hand to the back of her head. "Uhhh…"
Master Makarov looks around and sees swords in the beams and walls, a beer barrel on the floor with a sword in it, and beer leaking from it. Erza eating a big piece of cake, Cana drinking out of a huge barrel of beer, everyone is silent and jaws hanging low and a sheepish-looking Lucy.
He finally breaks out of his stupor, "I must say, Lucy, I am impressed. Not many people can escape Erza's wrath. And Erza, I never expected this kind of destruction to the guild from you."
Erza stops eating her cake and looks around the guild hall. "Master, I am sorry. You may punish Lucy and me as you see fit."
"Hmm… how about you and Lucy finish this outside. Natsu, Gray. Clean up this mess." Master Makarov had kept in touch with Erza while the team was on the quest. Erza had told him about Lucy's progress and how she thinks Lucy should be a contender in the next S-Class Exam. He wants to see for himself how well Lucy will hold her own against Erza.
"That's not fair Master. I want to fight too!" Natsu shouts.
"And why do we have to clean up their mess?" Gray asks annoyed.
Erza looks at the two guys, "how many times have Lucy and I had to clean up after you two?" She gives them a menacing glare. "Now, you will do as you're told."
"Yes ma'am!" They both shout.
"Well Lucy, are you ready to show everyone how far along you have come?" Erza asks with a smile on her face.
"This should be a good fight!" Wendy says excitedly.
"Yeah, Lucy has definitely come a long way," Carla says.
"Don't die, Lucy!" Happy tells her with a smile.
Laxus walks up to Lucy and puts an arm around her shoulder. He leans in to give her a kiss on the temple. "You got this babe."
"Thanks, Laxus." Lucy gives him a chaste kiss and they walk out together.
Lucy makes her way onto the field where Erza is already on the field waiting for her. Freed double-checks the runes to make sure it's good to go so no one gets hit with magic. Cana's yelling if anyone wants to take bets on who the winner is going to be. Lucy tunes her out, she needs to keep her head in the match. Once both parties are ready Master calls for the match to begin.
Lucy transforms into her Cancer Stardress.
"Ah, Cancer's Star dress. The form that grants you Cancer's enhanced speed which allows you to move very fast and wield your twin blades with great speed." Erza then requips into her Flight Armor which features very few armored parts. It's cheetah printed and there's a collar around her neck. She also has a tail hanging from the back of her shorts, both made of bushy fur, plus a pair of large cheetah ears adorning both sides of Erza's head. This armor leaves her quipped with a pair of short swords with elaborate hand-guards shaped like rose's thorns which also increases Erza's speed, "As you remember it's no match for my Flight armor."
The sound of steel clashing filled the air as Erza and Lucy engage in battle. Erza deftly parries Lucy's attacks, evading them with eloquence. Lucy narrowly avoids the slice of Erza's blade near her face.
Unbeknownst to Erza, Lucy summons Virgo by only touching her key. The second Virgo comes through her gate she grabs Erza and throws her into the ground shouting, "Spica Hole!" With the power of the throw, she creates a hole in the ground, resulting in Erza being trapped in a pit.
Virgo returns to the spirit world and Lucy transforms into Scorpio's Star dress while also summoning Scorpio and Taurus. Scorpio comes out along with Taurus wasting no time in doing their unison raid the second Erza has gotten out of the pit. "Sandstorm Axe Aldebaran!" Lucy flies through the sandstorm allowing her to land multiple attacks on Erza.
Erza requips into her Wind God Armor which takes form of a tribal-type robe that covers her upper body in a waistcoat-like garb. The neckline is topped with fur along with a dark streak underneath said fur, with short hanging sleeves that end with a triangular pattern around the hem. A fur-lined sash sits beneath her bust and above her bust that keeps the garb tied up. The ends of the coat are fanned out by her thighs. Her forearms are white bandages strapped around from the wrist to below the elbow. The lower portion of her armor consists of a pair of dark pants and light, shin-high boots where the tongue is flanked by the main body of the boot flaring out slightly, Her armor is completed with a pair of wings that sit on either side of her heads and her hair is tied in a low ponytail. This is the same armor she used against Ajeel. It allows her to manipulate wind strong enough to blow away the sand.
After the sand is cleared Erza requips into her Heaven's Wheel Armor "Blumenblatt!" and a massive number of swords charges after Scorpio and Taurus sending them back to the spirit world.
Aries is summoned and she uses Wool Bomb on Erza giving Lucy enough time to get far enough away to transform into a star dress combining two spirits' power to use a new powerful move. Erza breaks out of the wool and quickly requips into her Adamantine Armor which is able to withstand the attack. Lucy falls forward on her hands and knees and everyone including Erza thinks she's done. That last move is still new and takes up quite a bit of magic, but it doesn't stop Lucy from standing back up transforming into her Taurus Star Dress. She snaps her whip towards Erza damaging the ground with the earth wave spell. Erza dodges it.
"Shall we continue or call it good?"
"We can call it good. I would like to be conscious for the party."
Erza and Lucy meet up with each other walking off of the field towards the others.
Both Lucy and Erza don't realize how quiet everyone is until they get close to them. A lot look like they're going to catch flies with their mouths. Makarov mutters about the field being destroyed and Lucy summons Virgo and asks her if she could please fix the field and in five seconds the field is good as new.
When Laxus exits the back doors he hears everyone talking about how crazy Lucy is for going through with this. Once it's time they all head out in the stands Cana is going around taking bets. Laxus and Bixlow remain standing. Not many bet on Blondie, and this leaves Laxus a little pissed to see how many people actually underestimate her. He believes she'll give Erza a run for her money. "I bet on Blondie and Erza ending in a draw," Laxus speaks up getting shocked looks from everyone.
Bixlow turns his head to look at Laxus, "you really think that Cosplayer will be able to keep up with Erza?"
"You don't?"
"C'mon Erza! I got a lot of jewels on the line!" Cana shouts and the others that bet on her shout Aye!
Lucy transforms into a kimono in the combination of a qipao, albeit with long, wide sleeves and an obi. Below the waist are pieces of cloth hanging in the form of vertical stripes and on her legs are knee-high socks and her footwear is a pair of flip-flops. In addition, her hair is tied up in two high pigtails, secured by round, pincer-shaped clips.
"OOO, I haven't seen that star dress form," Levy says.
Laxus hears Erza talk about it. "From what I just heard it's Cancer's star dress. It allows her to move very fast." He doesn't catch the rest because he also hears comments about how Lucy looks really hot and growls.
Then all of a sudden Virgo appears. "She summoned Virgo without her key or even saying anything," Gajeel says to no one in particular.
"You're right Gajeel. Lucy can just brush her fingers along the keys. She can also telepathically communicate with her spirits." Wendy replies. Everyone takes notice and can't take their eyes off Lucy.
They continue to be watching and are surprised to see Erza trapped in a pit, but she doesn't stay down for long.
Lucy transforms into Scorpio's star dress, a skin-tight outfit, in which vertical stripes run downward, and the back of the outfit leaves her back exposed. The limbs of the outfit are dark colored, with a wavy stripe running downwards by the side of each limb. The areas such as the shoulders, elbows, knees, legs, and forearms are covered in armor plates and her hands are left exposed. The waistline is lightly colored, with lines running across the edges, and has a chain with a tail-like protrusion, in the form of a scorpion's stinger above Lucy's tailbone. She dons a headband with Scorpio's zodiac sign on it.
Taurus and Scorpio appear at the same time. "Sandstorm Axe Aldebaran!"
Lucy uses the momentum of the attack to fly through it to attack Erza. She lands multiple hits before Erza requips into her Wind God Armor to blow the sand away. After the sand is cleared Erza requips into her Heaven's Wheel Armor "Blumenblatt!" and a massive number of swords and charges after Scorpio and Taurus sending them back to the spirit world.

"Lucy definitely is the strongest celestial mage this world has seen in centuries," says Freed.
Many of the men have nosebleeds. They are baffled when out of nowhere the training field is fixed. They realized that Lucy's spirit Virgo fixed the damage. After everyone is over their shock, all those that bet realize that Laxus, Freed, Wendy, Levy, and Macao won.
Lucys releases her star dress as she and Erza make it to the stands they see a bunch of people handing Laxus, Freed, Levy, Wendy, and Macao jewels, all mumbling about it. Wendy runs up to them to make sure they're not too injured.
Lucy tells Erza she'll meet up with her in the guild when Freed asks Lucy if he can record her magic due to there being a lack of information on the subject. Lucy tells him he can but only if he agrees that it's stored in the spirit realm. There's a reason why there's not a lot known about her type of holder magic. It was the cause of the majority of her kidnappings.
Virgo pops put with a blank book that says: Celestial Magic as recorded by Freed Justine. This brings tears to Freed's eyes and gives Lucy a big hug.
Reedus surprisingly wants in on this to provide the artwork. So, the book will also say illustrated by Reedus Jonah.
Lucy looks over at Bixlow and teases him, "I hope that Taurus didn't bring back any horrible nightmares."
Laxus asks, "Why would Bixlow have nightmares?"
"Well you see when he and Wendy fought against Erigor during the infinity clock fiasco, a windstorm sent a bunch of cows up into the air, and when they fell back down they crushed poor Bixlow."
Bixlow puts his arm around Lucy, "as long as you are there with your whip, I'll be just fine Cosplayer."
Laxus shocks Bix. "Cana get a hold of your boyfriend."
Cana comes up behind Lucy reaching around her to grope her breasts. "Bixlow stop hitting on my Lulu and Laxus, keep it down. Not everyone knows about my relationship with Bix."
Laxus shrugs, "if you say so. But could you please stop groping my girlfriend's breasts?"
Lucy sighs, "This isn't the first time she's done this and it probably won't be the last."
"Like hell it won't be."
Cana laughs, "aww but Laxus, they're so nice."
"I won't deny that but they're mine."
Lucy steps away from Cana, "Cana stop antagonizing him. Laxus the more you react the more likely she'll continue just to get a rise out of you."
Laxus sees movement out of the corner of his eye, "Hey you old geezers! Get in the guild hall and stop perving."
Their pervy master, along with Macao and Wakaba has nosebleeds. Laxus gives them a tiny jolt. Macao and Wakaba go into the guild hall. Makarov looks up at his grandson. "Are you really going to deny an old man from watching something that sexy before what could possibly be my last time?"
"That's your future granddaughter-in-law!"
Lucy splutters, "Wh-what?"
"Cana isn't."
"Master!"
"Whatever. Come on guys let's head back in." Laxus grabs Lucy's hand and walks back into the guild with Bixlow, Cana, and Master behind them.
Later on, in the evening Laxus tells Lucy he got her something. He rushes to the back of the stage before Lucy can protest. He pushes a piano through the curtains. "It's just a used upright spinet. Didn't want to get anything too grand with how the guild can be."
"Makes sense, but Laxus, you didn't have to."
"Of course I did. I told you I would get one."
"You did?"
"I think I did, or maybe it was just Freed. He helped me pick it out." Laxus watches Lucy check it out. "So are you going to play?"
Lucy didn't realize how quiet it got in the guild until everyone starts chanting, "Lucy! Lucy!"
"Fine" Lucy sits on the bench and debates on what to play. She's got it. "Okay so as a thank you, this one is just for you Laxus."

Everyone breaks out into applause and surprisingly the guild doesn't break out into a brawl. Even more surprisingly Natsu requests another one.
"Okay but this is the last one." She takes in a deep breath because this one is going to be a doozy. For both her hands and her emotions. Lucy doesn't realize the microphone is nearby so when she sings along quietly everyone can hear her. (where I put Dad, the lyric is actually girl; YouTube vkgoeswild - Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd; Lucy however will be playing more of the solo)

While it sounds very beautiful, everyone can't help but feel a little sad. Knowing Lucy's history they all have a very good idea of the emotions it must evoke for her. Hell, it evokes all sorts of emotions for them as well.

Laxus can smell something salty and notices a tear going down her face. He walks up to the stage and stands by her in silent comfort. Before it's time for the guitar solo, Laxus is in awe at how well she's playing. He's very familiar with the song and is just amazed. He's also

Laxus is glad to have gotten closer because it's very impressive to see the guitar solo played on the piano. 'How is she moving her fingers that fast?'
Once she's done everyone is silent. She looks around and sees everyone with smiles and tears on their faces. Cana is the one to break it. "Yeah! Go Lucy!"
Everyone breaks out into applause, louder than they did for the first one.
"That was awesome!"
"Simply beautiful!"
"Very manly!"
Lucy blushes and once she has stood up and Laxus embraces her. "No more tears Blondie." He pulls back to wipe them away with his thumbs then kisses her. "Come on, your family is waiting."
Everyone spends the rest of the night laughing, drinking, and having a good time at the guild. Lucy doesn't drink much, but she still ends up getting a good buzz. Before Laxus walks Lucy home, Makarov reminds Laxus that as much as he understands wanting to make up for lost time with Lucy, he does have a duty as the Guild Master. in training.
Laxus grumbles, "oh right the damn paperwork."
Lucy looks at Laxus with a smile. "I can help you if you would like me to?"
"Lucy, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into."
"That's right! You were raised to run your father's business. The guild shouldn't be too different." Makarov puts in.
"Yeah, it'll be nice to put what I learned to good use."
"Alright if you're sure." Laxus kisses Lucy on the top of her head and then says to his Gramps, "The day after tomorrow we'll start. I want one day with her before we're holed up in that office for who knows how long."
"That sounds good to me. You two kids have a good night and don't do anything I wouldn't do!"
Laxus teleports Lucy home, and they have a heavy makeout session on her front steps.
Lucy breathes heavily. "You should spend the night."
Laxus puts his forehead on Lucy's. "I would love to Lucy, but we might end something you're not ready for with your inhibitions being lowered."
"You spent the night with me in Dramil."
"Well yeah, we were going our separate ways the next day and I didn't know when I would see you again."
"Fine, fine" Lucy gives him a chaste kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too babe."
Laxus walks down the steps and lightning ports home.
A/N: I'm still working on how to write fight scenes. Erza and Lucy only did it in good fun. They have a sister-like relationship and as much as I love Lucy, Erza would kill her should she go all out.
I've been debating on a Fairy Tail/Divergent crossover but still trying to figure out how to go about it.
To those who may not have seen, I've been working on Lalu week 2023. I haven't seen any and I looked everywhere so I decided to start one myself. The most recent was 2019? I'm still new to all of this so do I say hey May 7th - May 13 is Lalu week or just simply start it now and everyone can post when they have something written?
