This one's really short, because Hlenn is poetic and I decided to use a song she wrote. I stopped it at that length because longer would have been forced. I might add another episode for her, or otherwise she'll keep showing up in future stories.
Hlenn Rambutan- District Eleven (16)
They say that we eat by the sweat of our brow,
Until we return to the ground
But I climbed a tall tree, I crawled out on the bough
And like from a cocoon, my wings were unbound
A caterpillar creeps, looking up at the sky
How does she know what she knows?
But for something to live, something must die
A leaf falls from a swift-wilting rose
Butterfly girl
Spread out your wings
Butterfly girl
Marvelous things!
Butterfly girl
The life in you sings
I came from a place of dirt and of soil
Out of earth our world grows up to heaven
A soul in a shell, a caterpillar coiled
Bursting out to the new life she's given
Rapturous rebirth! Your life all ahead
Flutter up with a wing and a prayer
Take in the whole world, before you all spread
Loose a soul that is lighter than air
Butterfly girl
Spread out your wings
Butterfly girl
Marvelous things!
Butterfly girl
The life in you sings
