I'm so sorry for the very long wait. I hope this chapter is worth it. Side note a lot of liberties are taken here. But you all know that as it's Fanfiction! I hope 2021 is great and things will run more smoothly. Thanks!
Chapter 4
The Impala nearly squealed into the parking lot causing some of the late night arrivers wondering if the three kids that showed up were alright. But no one wanted to engage the three as they were quick and entered their own hotel room.
Dean fought to laugh only because of how silly it was of what he had heard in that place. As much as he was scared out of his mind. He watched as Sam and Christina sunk unto their beds while he slowly sat down at the table. "Got to say, Sammy." He said chuckling softly. "I never knew you could scream more like a girl then...well our sister."
"Shut up, Dean." Sam and Christina both said as Sam headed for the bathroom to change while Christina sunk onto her bed.
"You alright?" Dean asked suddenly seeing the stressed out look on his sister's face as he pulled off his boots.
"I'm fine. Just dealing with personal problems and stress." Christina said with a sigh. "I think I'm getting a bit of cabin fever in this place so I think tomorrow I'll go and see if I can narrow down what's going on with that house."
"Alright. Just be careful." Dean said knowing that his sister was still a new member of his family but he was still worried about her physically while also mentally as well.
"I will. Thanks for the concern there." She sighed and curled on her bed not bothering to taking off her jeans. She wrapped her arms around the pillow and quickly fell asleep just as Sam walked out wearing his pajamas.
"She's got sharp elbows." He grumbled as he sunk into his own bed. "She's quite the fighter."
"Yeah I know." Dean said grabbing his own sleep clothes and headed for the bathroom. "I think Christy and I will try and find some information by word of mouth. You think you can handle doing research here?"
"Yeah, not a problem." Sam said with a shrug. As Dean walked into the bathroom Sam fought to keep his smile from his face as when Dean turned on the light and spun around to look at the mirror he could see soap residue all over the mirror in the proper placement of his head with the words, 'I'm a loser' with an eyepatch and scars in some places.
"Oh it's on now." Dean whispered washing the mirror as he didn't want their sister to fall into this trap.

Dean drove down the streets catching the early commutes while his sister sat quietly in the passenger seat. "You sure you're okay there?" He asked sensing something wrong in which made Christina guess that it was something he'd picked up as he helped Sam grow up.
"I'm fine." She muttered before flinching when Dean pulled over and turned off the car. She turned and saw his eyes staring intently into hers. Fear began to fill Christina as memories of past experiences danced in her mind even though some small rational part of her brain explained that Dean wasn't mad at her, but more concerned then anything.
"Christy, I know that look you have. Sam used to get that way as he kept secrets from me and Dad. He had that look when he was accepted into college. What secret are you hiding?"
Christina's mouth went dry as thousands of secrets began to play in her head but she knew he was wanting the most recent of secrets. "I saw him at the Diner." She said making Dean blink in confusion. "He told me he was going to find something that a friend had out west. He then said to not tell you and Sam."
"Who told you this?" Dean asked before answering his first question with another one. "Dad?" His sister nodded her head and he sat back. "Well I'm glad you told me. But don't keep things like this a secret from me." Christina nodded and Dean nodded to. "But don't feel bad if I keep secrets from you or Sam. It's kind of an older brother thing."
"Sam was the same way in college." Christina said as she followed her brother and exited the vehicle. "He liked to get me to spill my secrets then keep secrets himself. Like those visions he had back in college. I never knew he had them."
"Yeah don't take it personally. It's kind of a Winchester thing I'm sure you'll get used to it." Dean said with a shrug.
"Why are you acting so calm about knowing John, I mean Dad, was in town and didn't want you two to know he was there?" She asked as she followed her brother down a street and entering into a shop right after him.
"It's what dad does." Dean said with a shrug and in a relaxed face. "He never wanted us to know he was always there. I bet Sam mentioned to you that when he graduated, Dad never showed up." Christina nodded and Dean continued. "But the truth was, Dad was standing in the doorway watching. I read it in his diary a couple of years after Sam graduated before I went off hunting alone."
Christina went quiet then shrugged accepting the excuse. She then looked around and realized she was in the prank store and Dean was looking at a small bag of itching powder. "Payback to Sam?" She asked afraid he was going to say her for getting him in trouble with the librarian back at the library.
"Yep. He's teaching you bad habits on doing lame pranks." Dean said walking to the cashier and setting the bag of powder onto the glass counter. "Don't worry one day you'll get good at pranks." He smiled mischievously and paid his dollar thirty for his small bag of powder. He turned and left not seeing his sister look around the store before quickly following after.

Dean let the two into the hotel room to find Sam's clothes piled on the edge of the bed while Sam was nowhere to be seen. He looked back and gently held out his hand and shook his head. "He's getting out of the shower. You should probably go wait outside."
Christina nodded grateful that her brother was at least looking out for her. She quietly moved out of their room and walked to the small vending machine to grab something to snack on when she took a few curious sniffs. The fresh scent of rain softly blanketed her making her look around trying to pinpoint where the smell was coming from. She shook her head thinking it was just an air freshener that was nearby and made a purchase of some corn nuts and headed back to the room. She stopped at the closed door and knocked hesitantly, not wanting to walk in on Sam getting dressed.
"Just a minute." Came the muffled reply from Sam. There was a sound of scrambling with fabric before the door slowly swung open. "Oh, Christy...why are you out here?"
"You were just getting out of the shower." She replied a small blush spreading across her cheeks. "Didn't want another event like back when I stayed over at your apartment my first time."
"Fair enough," Sam said stepping to the side allowing his sister to walk in. He was dressed except for his socks and shoes. "So I was just telling Dean that I think I know what creature we're dealing with."
"What is it?" Christina asked sitting down on a chair and quietly trying to open her bag of corn nuts.
"Ever heard of a Tulpa?" Sam asked fidgeting slightly before he slid on his socks.
"Tulpa...it sounds familiar, like I've read it's name once maybe twice but don't remember ever hunting one." Christina said not ashamed of not knowing what a Tulpa was off the bat, but Sam gave her a reassuring smile.
"Well, it's a...gah I hate this place." Sam said trying to indiscreetly scratch his butt and legs making Christina shove a handful of her crunchy snack into her mouth once she figured what Dean did with the Itching powder he had just purchased. "I'll tell you once we head out for coffee. Maybe lunch." He said not seeing his sister's face fighting to keep a straight face as Dean headed out of the bathroom a few minutes later, drying his hands off with a hand towel.
"Ready to go?" He asked before heading towards their hotel door. Sam and Christina followed after their older brother with Christina closing their hotel room behind only when she turned around to make sure the room was closed did she let her face spit with a smile at Dean's prank towards Sam with the thought of him retaliating with her in the back of her mind.
The quick drive to the same restaurant from the night before wasn't busy with teenagers as they all thought they were most likely in school. As Dean paid for the coffees, Sam gathered the sugar and cream packets Christina sat at the table keeping an eye on Sam's laptop. As Sam placed her a packet of sugar and cream Dean carefully sat down the drink carrier with the three coffees inside along with the lids.
"Alright," Sam began after letting out a groan of annoyance as he tried his best not to scratch in public but sat down and used the back of his chair to ease some of the itch. "So long ago a group of monks, over a thousand years ago, created a golem just by thinking of the same thing."
"So a bunch of monks made this creature?" Dean asked trying his hardest not to laugh as Sam used the edge of his seat to scratch at his legs.
"No, they didn't." Sam grumbled he looked over at Christina who offered to take his laptop so he could focus on scratching. "Thanks."
"No problem." Christina said taking his laptop and turning the screen so she could see. "So..." she made a few hissing noises from her mouth as she looked over the article Sam had pulled up and silently read something with a picture attached to it. "I've seen this symbol before." She said thinking back to their first moment in that house. She spun the laptop around and pointed to the screen. "This picture was on the south wall. It's what the monks drew to make that golem appear. So whoever drew this was responsible for the Tulpa we're dealing with right now."
Dean looked down at a pad of paper he had taken with a symbol on it and he let out a snap. "I know who we need to talk to." He said standing up and heading toward the door leaving his two younger siblings to pack up and carefully carry the coffee, which Christina did for Sam who bent over to scratch his leg through his pants.
"Damn, I think I'm allergic to our soap or something." Sam said as he slid his laptop back into it's carrying case.
"Or something." Dean grinned making Christina snort in laughter as she quickly moved to be ahead of Dean.
"You did this?" Sam asked getting that smirk from his brother the answer. "You are such a jerk." He screamed as he walked after his siblings.
"Come on, bitch." Dean called back as they headed towards the car.
As they got outside Christina carefully handed Sam his coffee which he did and he looked into her eyes. "Did you know about this?" He asked quietly as Dean was still ahead of them and walking down to the impala which was down the parking lot a ways.
"I saw him buy the powder but I didn't know what he was going to do." Christina said even though she did watch him pour the powder inside his clothes.
"Then you'll get off with only a warning." Sam grumbled using the wall of the restaurant to scratch his leg.

The three moved to through town, which during the time Sam's itching stopped but he still looked annoyed at his brother, as Dean pulled and parked right in front of the music store to see Craig Thursten still there looking a bit more glum then usual behind the counter. Dean quickly got out along with Sam and Christina making their way inside the building.
Dean quickly scanned the rows of records before looking up seeing the scared look on Craig's face.
"Look, man I don't want to say anything." Craig said as the three Winchesters stood in front of him.
"Nah, I just want to buy something." Dean said smoothly sliding the Blue Oyster Cult across the glass counter. "It's strange that this symbol was on the wall of the Murdoch's place. Don't you agree?"
"I didn't want anyone to get hurt." Craig said busting into tears. "I just wanted something to do inside this old rusty town."
"So how did you do it?" Sam asked finally catching on to Craig's confession.
"My sister was home visiting us from college. She's studying ancient symbols and said it would be fun to tag some place to add a little spice to something." Craig began to spout out his voice quivering. "We then looked up and found the house belonged to some great depression farmer. He didn't do anything great or interesting except he had five daughters. We then decided to give him a better look to bring something to the town. Then my cousin had this idea to actually to freak out some friends to sell the idea. Never thought it would become so popular so quick. But those Hellhouselair people were really interested and posted it on their website."
"Were people posting things also?" Christina asked. "With different versions?"
"Yeah." Craig said now looking confused.
"Thanks so much Craig you helped us out a lot." Dean said tossing a twenty on the counter before walking out of the store with the new record he just purchased ignoring the change.
"Where are we going?" Christina asked as her brothers entered the impala together. She slid carefully behind them.
"We're going to visit some old friends." Dean said handing her his new record. As he turned on his Impala he turned and gave her a sympatric look. "Now you might need some of your feminine charm to get them to listen. Don't worry I'll make it up to you."
"Oh it better be good." Christina said shaking her head and leaning back in the seat. As they drove Christina saw how in sync her two brothers were. Then she gave a small relaxed smirk before coming up with the perfect prank for becoming a true Winchester.
